ANOTHER LEVEL OF TOBACCO FROM PARADISE - I can't claim that I have tried and tested all tobacco fragrances, but through my humble experience as beast mode fragrance lover, not easily for me to like or to love any kind, even some hyped fragrances, I believe ( TOBACCO MANIAC ) deserves to be in the top ranks of tobacco scents. - So charming, so attractive, well blended, long lasting and so elegant, so luxurious with high quality, lean dray tobacco in the dray down, I found this unique scent for my nose is wearable as unisex fragrance. THREE THINGS I REALLY LOVE ABOUT THEODOROS KALOTINIS: [1ST REALISTIC ]: is about their perfumes, I believe TK house is one of the most realistic perfumery houses, I believe if you need a perfume scent that make you feel: you are standing on a street at the front of a barbershop, a chocolate shop at the back and a small food truck in the corner, definitely they will make it for you, just name it. [ 2ND PRICES & C.S ]: is about their official online retail, I’m one of these, who hardly avoid dealing with official retails, one of the reasons obviously is the high prices in the official online retails, but on TK official website, remarkably I found the prices are very reasonable and affordable prices with free shipping to your door no matter where you are in this world when your purchases reach 100 euros or higher, another reason is my bad experience that I have previously with some C.S official retails, but the customer service on TK, I found them very cooperative and so kind, I have doubts that “Theodoros” himself is the one behind the feedbacks that I get by emails. [3RD NO ANOSMIA ]: which no one talk about it that much, when we sometimes got anosmia for specific fragrance scents, especially after multiple wearing, but I didn’t have any issues with TK fragrance. ● I believe TK house is a hidden gem, that just started their perfumes lines, maybe one day, their creativity will inspire and invade the whole world. MY RANK LIST AND MUST HAVE FROM THEODOROS KALOTINIS: [personal experience about 8 fragrances that I’ve bought & sampled] 1- ( TOBACCO MANIAC ) - (I have 50 ml / 75 euros) uniqueness (10/10) fragrance lover in general, if you love beast mode fragrances or tobacco scents my recommendation is (must have & blind buy), this beast mode is one of my favorites in my collection. 2- (Coffee Addict) - (I have 50 ml / 31.50 euros) uniqueness (10/10) for fragrance lover in general or if you like coffee scent, my recommendation is (must have & blind buy), I believe it’s the best coffee fragrance in the world, this the most realistic, yummy, delicious and long lasting coffee fragrance, it will literally attract many things to your body (I mean it on good way about how realistic it is) the most review that support my opinion, came from a coffee fragrance lover who has a long journey with coffee scents when he spoke that this perfume is the best coffee perfume in the world. 3- (Alluring Fig) - (I have 3 ml sample / 5 euros) uniqueness (10/10) my recommendation is (must have & blind buy), oh my GOD what a great charming scent, Like a bird hiding in a nest among the thick leaves of a tree or as if you were hugging with your arms the branches of trees, personally I find it indescribable, I can’t imagine that anyone would hate this unique scent, I know it’s fig fragrance but I bet that lovers of tea fragrances will fall in love with this fragrance, I really regretted not buying the 50 ml bottle, I believe I will do in the soon future. 4- (Santal Wood) - (I have 3 ml sample / 5 euros) uniqueness (10/10) my recommendation is (at least must try & test), the uniqueness here doesn’t mean a crowd pleaser, I can consider this one as (artistic) and a lilt bit (daring to wear) zone, that’s need confident expressive personality (not for the faint-hearted) I believe it can be shapeshifter as mysterious and seriously personality, for me personally I like it, surprisingly I’ve found YT reviewer spoken, that one day, she was wearing this fragrance at workplace and got a compliment from her female workmate that she never comment on what she is wearing for 20 years, this kind of reviews convinced me, this fragrance will make you for sure noticeable by others, no matter who they are. 5- (Mentor) - (I have 3 ml sample / 5 euros) uniqueness (8/10) my recommendation is (at least must try & test), slight amber with hint of powdery touches, well balanced, leans towards the clean vibe, for me: more male side, the versatility here is the winner, I realize there’s no powdery note among the official notes, I think it’s the combination of vanilla note with vetiver note might be the reason why I’m picking the powdery touches, I think the people who like (Dior Homme) flankers, might like or love this one, don’t get me wrong, there’s no similarity between (Mentor) & (Dior Homme) but I believe somehow they meet in common things, this’s my honest opinion and how do I felt when smell it from the opening, still good choice, as versatile one because the sillage & longevity are moderated, good one for the go. 6- (Leather Iris) - (I have 3 ml sample / 5 euros) uniqueness (7/10) my recommendation is (at least must try & test), my personal rating here is 7 for uniqueness doesn’t mean this one is bad, not at all, but I believe it shares some similarity with other leather fragrances in the market, I believe it will get higher rank from the people who loves leather fragrances. 7- (Vanilla) - (I have 50 ml / 31.50 euros) uniqueness (6/10) if you love vanilla scents my recommendation is (blind buy & it’s not must have in my opinion because it’s shares some similarities with other fragrances in the market ), this’s pure Vanilla scent from the opening to the dray down, leans more towards a creamy desert (bakery vibe), it’s EDT performance, I wish if this fragrance have more longevity and stronger performance, I believe it should be in 20 euros, otherwise still good for layering. 8- (Musky Rose) - (I have 3 ml sample / 5 euros) I really tried to like this fragrance, but I’m really sorry, I couldn’t find anything special about this one, maybe in future I will try it again, sorry guys, but it doesn’t mean is bad one, I really don’t have any feelings towards this one (I don’t like it but at the same time I don’t hate it) ● I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL & JUST REMEMBER THE FRAGRANCE COMMUNITY IS GREAT COMMUNITY

During a recent trip on Crete, I had the opportunity to visit the store where Theodoros Kalotinis has a selection of his creations for sale. While the sales assistant, very helpful lady, offered to spray for me the entire range from the store, I realised that it’s a brand which has some amazing perfumes and some not that great... From the stand out to me personally, I will call out Tobacco Maniac, Coffee Addict and Alluring Fig. Found to be ok, so not very impressed with, Creme Brûlée and Lemon Tart. The others weren’t anything special to me. Keep in mind that I am assessing the brand based upon a store visit/test, since there wasn’t any sample set or discovery set available to purchase so that I can form a more thorough impression at home, on my own time. Tobacco Maniac was the first I have tried and the strongest, punchiest one. What you have here is a blend of tobacco, vanilla, patchouli and honey. Which are all some of my favourite notes for cooler weather fragrances. Simple mix but highly concentrated. Powerful! It smelled like an expensive, luxurious, niche perfume and had nicer packaging compared to the regular line. While I do have several tobacco/patchouli/honey dominant fragrances in my collection, I don’t have anything similar with Tobacco Maniac, so I’m naturally drawn to it. I decided against buying it in favour of Coffee Addict because after a store assessment, Coffee Addict seemed as strong, a third of the price and I loved it as much as I loved Tobacco Maniac. I wasn’t entirely convinced that I should spend 150 euros on a 50 ml bottle after being around these fragrances for about half an hour, so it seems more wise not to risk big. But Tobacco Maniac it’s going on my to buy list because it’s really a great perfume! Ideally, I would get a sample before splurging on a bottle. Would recommend to both genders if you’re a sweet tobacco and patchouli lover.

First whiff is ultra pure tobacco. If you’re not looking to beat around the bush with a sprinkling of tobacco, this is for you. Straight to the point and potent. Somehow comes off as both dry/leafy and moist/sticky. I can imagine an unlit cigarette/cigar and also a wad of chewing tobacco at the same time. It’s sweet and smooth. It definitely teleports my mind back to an earlier time. I feel like I’m in an old saloon, or speakeasy, or a turn-of-the-century men’s club/barbershop. For being such a pure smell, it also has an elevated depth. It’s mysterious and brooding. I love it. I’ve tried a few different offerings from Theo now and I’m very impressed. Not only with the amazingly accurate scent profiles to the title, but the incredible projection and longevity of the scents. They are inexpensive and powerful. But still not overwhelming. Not cloying or eye watering. Just smooth and potent.

Incredibly realistic, fresh tobacco. For those unfamiliar with fresh tobacco leaves, they are considerably sweet and a little bit earthy. The tobacco notes brings me back to my childhood when my grandpa would load his pipe from a big bag of tobacco he'd grow himself. I absolutely love the way that this develops on my skin, I can smell the honey across all the stages of the scent and I don't know how, but I pick up a slightly boozy note in the early drydown which I absolutely adore. It's a really classy scent and it reminds me of an exclusive cigar lounge which you waited 10 years to get into. You finally sit there and they serve you your dream cigar, in a big leather chair. Classy, seductive (if your partner is familiar with realistic tobacco) and an incredible well crafted scent. Full bottle will soon be joining my collection.

I grew up in North Carolina where tobacco is grown and I am insanely picky and demanding when it comes to tobacco fragrances. Jazz Club smells like a jazz club meaning cigarettes and booze. Tobacco Vanille smells like the pipe shop at a country club. This smells like fresh tobacco. Green, natural, vibrant and deep with very little else muddling it up. I'd say the honey is listed only because any people don't know how sweet fresh tobacco smells and the vanilla and patch are there to explain the warm earthiness. This is the perfect tobacco scent. Love it. The scent holds and holds, expect a full day's wear out of it, and the projection directly relates to how much you spray.

Growing up back in the Philippines, I had an elder woman who babysat me. In her down time, she would roll up tobacco leaves to enjoy. Now Tobacco Maniac’s scent brings me back to my younger years as I smelled this realistic and slightly sweet tobacco. It is very realistic and on point in my opinion. As it dries down, it gets warmer and earthier. I have several other tobacco scents at hand but for me hands down this one smells the most realistic. Performance is also notable just like the other scents from Theodoros Kalotinis. Lasted a whole day, got more intense in heat. Projected quite nicely for several hours.

This perfume may not be the most unique, but it's PERFECTION. If you like the honey vibe from Naxos and the tobacco from HEROD, then you will love Tobacco Maniac. It’s classy, sophisticated, and spicy to start with a mix of realistic tobacco cigar. In the dry down, it becomes a beautiful tobacco-spicy blend with a noticeable honey vanilla in the background. A seductive and very well-blended scent. Longevity is +10 hours and with a moderate projection.

The best photorealistic tobacco fragrance I have ever tried. Super dry and honied. This stuff smells regal and classy. Its projects and the sillage is absolutely gorgeous. This is a niche frag that is actually worth its price based on its total package. Profile, power, and projection all mean price is worth it. As much as I love middle eastern fragrances I dont think they will be able to dupe something this special

Sweetness, vanilla, patchouli and tobacco. This is lovely. To my nose the opening is very similar to Jusbox 54. After it settles down it becomes a nice soft tobacco with a little sweetness. It is lovely but a little too soft spoken for me. No denying it smells fantastic though. To the single malt drinkers out there this is Irish whiskey.

To me this is a gorgeous blend of sensuous cigar tobacco, boozy cognac with smoky dried black plum note, a bit indolic honey, a hay like note and a drop of vanilla. It's so oily, so thick, golden color, pleasantly surprised with the quality of all 3 full size perfumes I ordered. Totally unisex. The best blind buy in 2022 !

I can’t believe no one has commented on this fabulous fragrance since I last did. Someone stopped me today to complement me and ask me about it. So good.

I've expanded my current interest to locate a tobacco-centric fragrance I can love. Among several other fragrances, it was strongly suggested I try Theodoros Kalotinis "Tobacco Maniac." So I did! Out of the 7-8 tobacco-centric, or tobacco-forward fragrances I purchased and/or sampled (not full bottles), I narrowed my "full-bottle worthy" list down to Tobacco Maniac and Franck Boclet "Tobacco." In the end, I decided at this point to full-bottle purchase Franck Boclet. But I like Tobacco Maniac a lot. And with this said, the two fragrances~Tobacco and Tobacco Maniac~could not be more different. Without reiterating what has already been said about this fragrance, I do prefer tobacco-forward fragrances when the tobacco is well blended with other notes. This is the aspect that pushed Tobacco over the finish line (versus Tobacco Maniac). Tobacco Maniac is a relatively simplistic, very linear but quite lovely tobacco fragrance. There is LOTS of notable honey in the fragrance's opening and development. But unlike other tobacco fragrances I tried, the honey in Tobacco Maniac is never over-powering, or cloying. Despite having honey as a main accord, I don't perceive Tobacco Maniac as overly sweet. Also, "Tobacco Maniac" has a much more prominent smoky or burnt tobacco accord in its dry down versus Boclet's "Tobacco." My husband thought Tobacco Maniac was much sweeter than Tobacco; I think the exact opposite. And both Tobacco and Tobacco Maniac have vanilla bases. However to my nose, Tobacco Maniac's tobacco note wears much truer and much longer than does the tobacco note in Boclet's Tobacco. I like both fragrances. IMHO, both perfumes are full bottle worthy 'cause they are drastically different.

Theodoros Kalotinis Tobacco Maniac is my first try of the house’s extrait line. It’s very spicy to start, though the spices fade gradually over time, a mix of tobacco leaf and more standard cigar tobacco, along with, per the website, patchouli, honey, and vanilla. There’s certainly some sweetness there, but more so in the background, and the primary note list, to me, underrepresents how spicy it is in the opening, especially, with something along the lines of cumin or pepper providing an added kick for the opening half hour or so that’s fairly noteworthy. Particularly in the dry down, it becomes a very pleasant tobacco-rich blend that still leans spicy but has some of the honey in the background. I see this as a logical alternative for fans of tobacco who want something sweet but not too sweet, as this has less honey than, say, By Kilian Black to Black, and not the cherry/vanilla-type sweetness of Mugler Pure Havane. Overall, a nice tobacco entry that’s surely worth trying out. It’s a little grittier and spicier, but comparable sweet, to the recent release Zaharoff Signature Tabac, also. The market is replete with tobacco fragrances, so it’s generally difficult to identify special qualities in newer releases (Tobacco Maniac was released in 2021) but this is indisputably a nice, high-performing product, and I’ll have to revisit it somewhat and do some side-by-side comparisons with other tobaccos. Tobacco Maniac, as with the rest of the extrait line, is priced at 150 euros for 50ml, a noticeable difference from the 45 euros for the Eau de Parfum collection. The Discovery Set is a great way of trying out five fragrances at once, so I’d recommend that. 7 out of 10

This is my first impression of this fragrance and i'm no expert but here goes. I think this smells of high quality ingredients. I immediately smell the tobacco, like the kind you would smell at a hand rolled cigar store. Then honey melts right in, effortlessly. The vanilla in this reminds me of bourbon and I don’t detect strong patchouli thankfully. I can't say that I’ve smelled anything like this although there are quite a few tobacco scents on the market lately. Update: of your don’t like patchouli, this isn’t a good choice. I still agree with everything else on my initial impression except that it is quite patchouli heavy. It reminds me of a sexy speakeasy lounge, almost a bit of honeyed leather and high quality cigars but not Smokey. It’s an elegant scent and is TRULY an extrait. One spray of this and my entire apartment smells like it. Definitely good bang for your buck. Unfortunately, it’s s little too patchouli for me and am selling mine. It’s missing 1ml,CONUS only - message me if interested.

As someone who used to grow tobacco plants for experiments, this is a realistic tobacco leaf smell in the beginning with little bit of woody patchouli too. I think the fragrance overall represents the lifecycle of the plant to me. So when the flowers have been fertilised and the plant is dying and drying, there is a sticky, sweet, resinous covering, that will just not come off your hands or clothes. That's what the honey is for me. The drydown is beautiful, a tiny bit of the patchouli, a tiny bit of the dry tobacco and the rich honey, this smells like proper thick stuff. As someone who loves honey, the drydown is the best bit for me, but it's all good. Long lasting and projects well for the first few hours. I enjoy wearing this and I would love to smell this on someone else too.

Easily one of my favorite tobacco fragrances- this is my type of scent. There is a DNA theme that runs through his fragrances during the dry down - I'm thinking it may be a vanilla patch base across the board. Anyway, I'm impressed with the quality of his fragrances for such a minimal price. Coffee Addict and Tobacco Maniac - both shine amongst their coffee & tobacco competition.

I really wasn't sure about this upon smelling it on paper; it was overpowering and eye-watering. But I sprayed a couple spritzes and was pleasantly surprised! The tobacco scent transformed on my skin in a really nice way and I loved the slow release on the sweet, honeyed notes over the following hours. Really pleasant in the end. Definitely an evening scent imo.

This is patchouli maniac, beautiful, but patchouli, not tobacco.

I bought a sample of this with my last order despite not enjoying tobacco as a note in general simply because I was curious how it would turn out in this case: What I got was a warm tobacco fragrance - slightly smoky, slightly sweet (I get a bit of light honey but not much of the vanilla here). It’s not as heavy as I expected and thankfully doesn’t lean towards cigarette smoke either... Objectively this is a nice scent - and I could see some people loving this - but tobacco will likely never be among my favourite notes so this only ranks as an "okay" for me. That being said, if the notes sound like something YOU would enjoy I urge you to give this brand a chance, they make some lovely fragrances! (my personal highlights are Coffee Addict and Jasmine of Athens... both are true "loves" in my collection)

I would give it a name of Patchouli Maniac. This is heavy on patchouli, I like patchouli but the one that used here does not really stand out for me, with the tobacco mixed together it gives like traditional incense vibe or something similar , I have Cuir Tabac from David Jourquin, it’s also tobacco and patchouli but that is at another level of blending and perfumery craftsmanship. Yet this one TK Tobacco Maniac reminds me a bit of that fragrance. It’s a mature scent, the type of fragrances that I like and prefer to wear, but this is much mature to a degree I feel it’s outdated.

This is a very natural smelling and realistic tabaco scent. Not the smoke of tabaco, but Tabaco itself. I am a non smoker and with no particular interest in tabai, so for me such scent is too realistic. However it has good quality, well blended and with nice longevity. However, projection is not too impressive, compared to the other scents from this Kalotinis line.

Tobacco mixes with honey. Unfortunately for me patchouli is also noticeable. This is a strong and long lasting scent. It's sophisticated and imo more appropriate for dressy fall/winter ocassions rather than casual wear. Overall the scent is okay, the quality is good, performance is very good.

Totally not worth the money. The longevity is enormous but lacks projection after 1-2 hours. Smells like a mix between Animale Animale and 1 Million Prive. In the dry down it is almost like tobacco vanille but minus the huge projection of tobacco vanille.

Upon spraying this on my wrist I immediately pick up on the tobacco and honey. Quickly the honey fades but not completely and the patchouli begins to emerge creating a hay like quality to the scent. The tobacco in this is more of a fresh cigarette tobacco IMO. The dry down is a bit disappointing as the tobacco loses it richness and the vanilla and patchouli leaves this smelling like cheap incense, like what you might smell at a vintage clothing store. I suggest sampling first.

Ugh, too much grassy patchouli, this is quite disgusting im not going to lie. Get no honey whatsoever, Patchouli is the main player and then tobacco. Disgusting fragrance, do not blind buy.

Highly preferred over many comparable tobacco items of it's genre. This is true class -- is fairly a realistic tobacco centered honey bomb -- with the tobacco peaking out after the sweetness is realized and understood by the nose. It takes a good deal of time for the tobacco to become identified between the sweet honey and patchouli layers, but it is there and pleasant. I draw more similarities to 1821 Man Made, Carner Barcelona El Born, and Killian Gold Knight than other tobacco items, though. I like my tobacco punchy, and center-stage -- which it is here, but with how powerful the sweet honey and present the patchouli is, the tobacco is less than a third of the culminating notes, and takes a long time to peer through these, as I listen to the scent. Definitely top five in tobacco themed items, period. The quality of the presentation and juice used is above many experienced. I will purchase a few other TK items due to these facts alone. I would rate this a solid 8.5/10. Edit: Ordered a second 50ml, as well as his Santal Wood -- another phenomenal item.

I had been dying to try Velvet Teddy but was not about to blind buy a non-refundable perfume for $130 (trying to be more responsible here haha) So I'm curious as to how similar people think this is to it or what the main differences between this and velvet teddy are? Anyways! Here you get a little bit of everything, there are instances where it feels the patchouli is about to overtake the fragrance but that's only when I'm burying my face in my wrist. The honey was super noticeable during the first half hour but fades to the back, leaving a scent that is more tobacco/patchouli only. It almost smells powdery at some points as well. Longevity is crazy and I can smell it even after a 10 minute shower with a scented body wash. Just here to echo to sample first! I would have maybe considered getting a full bottle if it was part of the parfum line, 150euro is a bit much for something I only mildly like. However who knows if my feelings on that will change in the winter.

I disagree that this smells like Tobacco Vanille. I HATE that fragrance. TV has a great vanillic vibe, but instead of enhancing the frag, the tobacco has an annoyingly masculine undertone to me, like pipe tobacco. Tobacco maniac has this perfect touch of femininity to it that makes it heavenly to smell. The tobacco is more of a support system than the main attraction. Plus, there's this airy, slight powdery undertone that has a levity TV will never have. The comparison just isn't there for me, but the choice between the two is obvious.

This parfum is perfection. I don't usually like tobacco fragances, so this was a surprise. Interesting, original yet classic, elegant, solid ... Takes me immediately to my childhood smelling old cigars in a wooden box, it smells highly realistic, and blends naturally with the honey/patchouli base. Great for a collection, I could consider it for buying a full bottle as a winter fragance. Long lasting. It can compete with Jasmine&cigarette, indeed tobacco is clearly better executed here in my opinion. Congratulations to the author.

Reverb to my original review, this is my top tobacco fragrance with Frank Boclet Tobacco as second. A+ 10/10, need a third bottle -- the tobacco undulates and becomes parabolic as it's ages in the bottle -- truly a superb creation! In my top 5 personal favorites, check my page -- stellar fragrance, Theo needs a medal of honor for this item!

Wow! Does everything listed with tobacco always have to be tobacco vanille??! Tobacco Vanille actually really sucks as a tobacco fragrance. In fact, it's everything else except tobacco!! 😧 end rant

I like it. If I am in mood I like straighforward accords. Musky Rose from them is also great. This Tobacco is really good.

Fragrance should be called sweet maniac instead of tobacco maniac. It's Not bad for what it is.
