Red Rum

This marks the debut release from the brand-new indie house @thirdeyefragranceco. The debut fragrance, Red Rum, is an outstanding first release. It opens with a dark, juicy black cherry; rich and indulgent without ever veering into medicinal or synthetic territory. The cherry is wrapped in the warmth and spice of a boozy rum accord. A smooth, sweet tobacco adds depth and character, while plum enhances the sensuality in that unmistakable way only plum can. Everything rests beautifully on a base of vanillic amber, creating a fragrance that is both luxurious and inviting. The composition is impressively smooth, well-blended, and perfectly unisex. It’s exactly the kind of scent that will thrive in the cooler months of fall and winter, and it’s already secured a spot in my seasonal rotation. Red Rum Third Eye Fragrance Co. The cherry is prominent and blends well with the plum. I loved the juicy sweetness, it's not too sweet and that juiciness is just nice to me...cherry with the plum added dds depth and richness to the juiciness. Davana and spiced rum complements the cherry and plum with similar facets, I feel these few accords really work well together to bring the wearer from the opening to the heart. The tonka here isn't that amped up for me which is what I can feel is good. The warm deep bitter smoky tobacco support works and blended well too. The drydown is even more warm and cozy as it gets woody dry Ambery, I thought the vanilla isn't that strong but offers a good support. It has pretty decent projection around me and decent silage. At least a good scent bubble around the user. It's been like 3 hours since I received it and wore it and I feel the scent is still developing for the drydown. Very impressed and very likeable and definitely a Full Bottle worthy. One of the better cherry plum scents I tried honestly. Gonna give this more wears. I'm looking forward to give the flamingo sample vial a test tomorrow.

Love it, Kilian Old Fashioned is one of my absoulute favourite fragrances and this has definite similarities. Its like a mix of two of my favourites, Kilian Old fashioned with PDM Herod but in addition its topped off with a sour cherry. I keep getting whiffs throughout the day and its heavenly, I find it quite addictive to wear. Kudos to the perfumer.

A great first showing from Third Eye. Tart cherry and juicy plum in the opening accompanied by spiced rum. Spice more noticeable than the rum/boozy note. Good longevity, I got 6 hours of projection and it hung on a full day as a skin scent. Plum and cherry remain for most of the wear but do give way to the woods and vanilla in the dry down.

The presentation on this surpasses many designer and niche houses. Nice magnetic closing box with foam cut out for the bottle. Awesome artwork and a card displaying the note break down. I’m very impressed. Also a side note my wife smelled me first thing when I came downstairs and she asked if this was the new fragrance I got last night and she said it smells really good !! This is a nice sweet fragrance for the cooler months. It starts off with a promident juicy black cherry note that smells very relaistic. I like the fact it’s black cherry and I can pick that up vs red cherries. It seems a bit darker and maybe less sweet than red cherries is the best way I can describe it. That also may be the type of plum in it as well. It’s not near the same Plum smell as JPG elixir absolu, but I think it helps round out the sweetnesss. I can pick up on the boozyness of the rum and vanilla with a touch of the woody oak. Performance is very nice and strong projecting. It’s been about 4 hours so far and scent bubble is still surrounding all around me. Im Able able to pick up whiffs constantly without trying to. Over all my nose is still Developing so I’m no expert by any means. But I would say this is a nice mass appealing sweet boozy cooler wether Fragrence. I can’t say it smells like anything I’ve smelled or that I have in my current collection. So I would say check them out grab a sample and maybe it might be something you might grab!!
