Eau Monumentale

The opening is a burst of bergamot, and tart lime. It's a classic vintage citrus opening but unlike many with neroli, the neroli here is muted and used in a support role to boost the freshness, and not stand out. From there, a lovely bitter orange takes over that melds with the woods. The woody vibe is hard to pin down but my best guess is that it's sandalwood and cedarwood. It's incredibly smooth and supported by a touch of spice.Blending quality is top notch and hard to pick out notes blind except for the orange bitters. Performance is what you'd expect but not as bad as other expensive EDC's I wear such as Chanel. I pile on sprays and carry a decant (you really can't over spray) and it will give me decent performance. A real mood booster and ultra smooth experience. If you like Jo Malone Orange Bitters but wish it was more fresh, woody, and less holiday esque, you will like this. ----------------------------------------- Scent 90/100 Performance 25/100

This is AMAZING! How is this not the most talked about frag right now? The price, the quality and it's spring time! Now, this is one of them frags where you spray on your hand and the first 5 seconds I didn't care for much, but then transforms into a magnificent smell. So addicting! It's also one where you take your hand , bring it to your nose and don't smell anything a hour later, but when your moving around you keep smelling it! Its aromatic! I have never smelled anything like this. A true complement getter and a great example of there should be no genders placed on a frag. Perfect unisex frag all day long. I'm going to buy a bottle right now!

This may be my favorite citrus fragrance. I hate when they're almost stingingly bright, but this one manages to be truly citrusy while being both well-rounded and long-lasting. Bergamot is the strongest citrus note I get, but I especially appreciate the bitterness added by grapefruit, bitter orange, and neroli. I think that bitterness makes it stand out from a lot of other citrus fragrances, as does its seductive woody base. There's nothing cutting-edge about it, but it feels like a feat of delicate craftsmanship. A perfect fragrance for a warm day in the park, or whenever you want the feeling of a warm park day.

I am absolutely obsessed with the scent -- it is not complex or esoteric, but, the combination of sweet citrus and warm woodsy notes works especially well with my body chemistry. This is one scent that I adore catching on myself through the day, but, it does tend to drop off a lot after a few hours. You can still pick it up at the end of the day very close to your skin, and I always want to smell more.

This is my favorite eau. Slightly modern twist on a classic style. Super fresh citrus gently supported by an unobtrusive neroli with the best woody base I've ever smelled in such a scent. For an EDC, this stays fresh for a remarkably long time. Perfect for a spring or summer outing. I may go out just as an excuse to wear such a perfect fragrance.
