This is what real niche smell like luxury in a bottle wow

Is it just me, or has the saffron/Rosa Damascena pairing become the blueprint for modern rose perfumery? This fragrance takes about 5-7 minutes to develop, but Song in the Wind plays it safe within this familiar DNA, landing squarely in the middle of the pack. While it invites comparisons to Matiere Premiere’s Radical Rose Extrait, it lacks that scent’s resinous depth and "beast mode" performance. To my nose, the bergamot is invisible, likely serving only to lift the raspberry top note. Any trace of vanilla is eclipsed by a salty, slightly "sweaty" ambergris and a wearable, animalic oud that pulls the scent into unisex territory. If Radical Rose feels too aggressive or pricey, this is a solid, more intimate alternative. It’s a treat for jammy rose enthusiasts, but owning both would be redundant.

A rich jammy rose and raspberry, oud and patchouli scent, it invokes the idea of maroon and dark brown in colors. Sillage is large for the first hour, but fades to more average sillage after the initial hour. Longevity is fair, slightly better than average. Ideally worn at night, and fall, but can be worn whenever.

If you enjoy More Than Words by Xerjoff but find it too strong, this fragrance could be a great alternative. It is lighter and less expensive than MTW. Cheers~
