Wild Stride

Wild Stride opens with a brilliant, fresh, juicy pineapple, bergamot combo. It's bright and delicious. A moment later smoky woody notes start to emerge. It smells incredible but also very recognizable. It's another Creed Aventus inspired fragrance but this one stands out. For people that enjoy the old smoky batches Creed Aventus will likely enjoy the opening of this fragrance a great deal. An hour into the wear the fruitiness starts to fade and even the smokiness fades to a lesser extent. It becomes a lot more woody and mossy. At which point, it smells less like Creed Aventus and much more like Hacivat X. Performance is good, but not quite as good as old batches of Aventus or Hacivat X. It projects just under arms length for 2-2.5 hours. Total longevity is around 8-9 hours. It's masculine leaning. You can wear this day or night, summer, winter, whenever. Casual or dressy. To the office, on a date. Almost as versatile as Aventus and more versatile than Hacivat X. Embarrassingly enough I own just about every Aventus inspired fragrance and this is one of the best. For anyone searching for the beloved old smoky batches and can't stand the synthetics of CDN Intense Man, this is your next best option... at least for the first hour. I tried it at Dillards. I wore it around the mall for 30 minutes before buying it. I rarely buy retail and the price tag hurts but this one is worth it to me. If it doesn't make my top 10 favorite fragrances of 2024, I'll be very surprised.

I've had this for awhile now but seldom wore it. I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I bought it when I was still under the spell of Aventus but later come to realize it's much closer to Hacivate. Never bought a bottle of Aventus because I didn't feel the price was worth it. Hacviate is a fantastic beast but maybe a little too much of a beast and since I already own Wild Stride I never purchased a bottle of Hacivate because it would have been redundant. So I've worn Wild Stride a handful of times but it never seemed to fit my mood or my preconceived ideas of when to wear it. So it sat neglected. Today I wanted something different from my usual brutal summer daytime choices and bathed in Wild Stride before work. To my surprise it fit well in this 100 degree Florida heat. It felt right. I finally feel really good about this fragrance and look forward to wearing it more often. The scent is basically a lighter and airier version of Hacivate. I'd say longevity is only moderate.

Fruity and juicy right from the beginning. Picked this up from Joma shop for around 80$ and its a good inspiration of the classic aventus. you get that juicy, bright fruit opening before it fades into that masculine super smoky, slightly sweet woody base. 2-3 sprays in the morning is all you need. I had this on during work and I wasnt able to smell it but a colleague of mine asked what I had on and this was at least 7-8 hours later. Great inspiration of the old batches of aventus

I never smelled the OG Aventus, but theres clear differences between this and the current Aventus. Definite pronounced smokiness in this one, reminds me of the spiced pineapple you sometimes get in Brazilian restaurants. I think its gorgeous.

Definitely a strong Aventus DNA but with a nice woody and earthy dry down. Last long on skin but longer on clothes with great projection that carries out well throughout the longevity of the fragrance. Overall great fragrance.

We are being roasted alive in Florida right now. Unbearable. This fragrance is a breath of fresh air in this insane heat. I can't believe how quite it is in the reviews of this fragrance. It's a shame it's overlooked.

This is Creed Aventus with a good longevity and sillage, perfoms much better, and is available at a great, low price.

This is a nearly spot on Hacivat clone and not Aventus so if you were expecting it to be close to Aventus, it isn’t. Quality is great and has a slightly more airy quality but the oak moss is there just toned down a touch compared to Hacivat. It would be highly redundant imo to own Hacivat and this since you can get these both discounted so I’d just pick one. A beautiful fragrance. Performance seems moderate but I could be nose blind. I feel like Hacivat performs better.

Trying this fragrance for the first time, and I must say it has that Aventus gene. A great fragrance, but unoriginal in my opinion. I will also say that Wild Stride has very distinct similarities to Mind Games's Blockade. The fruity Pineapple in Wild Stride is similar to Blockade's Mango note, the rest is there as well, Birch (woody notes), Smoky (Oakmoss), and Tobacco vibe. Great longevity, performance, sillage, and projection.

The previous review is correct. It's another Aventus/ Hacivat/ Morning Chess/ Orion clone, a little bit more sharp and masculine at first but unisex later on. No better than the scents mentioned above.

Smoky aventus So many clones of it but this one the quality is so good. It makes it worth that price tag
