Lotus Santal

I was with my wife sampling a number of scents by The Thymes and others and she was quickly running out of arm space to try out so we started on my arms. We tried this on my arm and I was quite pleased with the aroma on me. It hadn't occurred to either of us that this might be a unisex scent and frankly I could care less as long as it smells good on me. We bought this and wow...it is quite good. Like pretty much all The Thymes perfumes they start and finish the same....except this one. It goes on with distinct cacao, lotus, vanilla and sandalwood. It finishes with a more pronounced sandalwood, amber and cloves. It could obviously be worn by a woman, but it has a more masculine scent to my nose...and my wife loves it on me as well.

Beautiful scent, perfect for fall. Initial blast is very reminiscent of TM Angel, but less in your face with the patchouli. It also reminds of a less sharp and better blended BBW Sensual Amber. Longevity is good, I can smell it the next day during my 9am work out. Tapers down to a soft spicy vanilla w hints of patchouli, coco, and soft lotus flower. Overall, I really love the scent. Great for fall, but I have been wearing it in temps up to 80 degrees, fall is warm in South Carolina. I will repurchase. Its like CK Obsession, my winter fave, but for warmer temperature.

A very nice perfume! Thymes is a good brand and all their colognes and bath & body items are top notch. Lotus Santal does have the Angel EdT vibe but Lotus Santal has a more airy aromatherapy style about it. Can be worn anytime and anyplace. Sillage is good and the longevity is 4-5 hours. The amber-sandalwood-vanilla-patchouli accord is just right. I found this perfume at a TJM for a very good price and I bought two bottles. Love it! For men or women.

This smells just like L'Occitane 'Amber and Santal' to me, at a much better price! I just found it at TJ Maxx for 12.99 versus $65 for L'Occitane product... lovely deep amber, vanilla, sandalwood and spices combine. A warm comforting scent for fall and winter days.

Nice. The smell to me is quite similar to Angel, which I love.
