On my first trip to NYC 6 years ago, I went to Tiffany's on 5th Ave. I decided that I wanted to buy something for my mom that I could afford. The saleswoman showed me a box of Tiffany handsoaps that smelled divine, and I bought them. She put them in a large Tiffany bag, and then with a big grin, she mischievously gave me 2 medium-sized Tiffany bags in which she put 4 carded samples each of Tiffany and Tiffany for Men. I was on an upper level, and as I strode back through the entire first floor, carting all my bags, everyone fell over backwards to step out of my way, smile and wish me good day, presuming I had just purchased an arm and a leg. A funny trick in an otherworldly place! It just so happened that night I was invited to a party and met a handsome, bookish young librarian. He asked if he could accompany me to The Metropolitan Museum I was visiting the next day. So what did I wear? Tiffany of course! It lasted all day, and even when I when I awoke the next morning to take the train back to Toronto, there was a trace of it, reminding me of the kiss he gave me in Central Park at the end of our date, the intelligent conversation I managed to half hold up over Monet's Water Lilies, and the city's buzz so new to me. I wanted to save my stash for special occasions, and I wore the scent once more to a wedding before they were lost in a big move. Tiffany's (the store) is like a giant window through which you can view some of the most precious gems and artwork in the world. Tiffany parfum is like a window, too. It's clear, clean, precise and "almost too pretty". I agree with anomie et ivoire, that if you're going to wear a scent that's so, so pretty, you had best be multi-faceted, with a wild streak, otherwise the view - when someone looks at you through your Tiffany window - will fall a little flat. I'd buy a fb of this in a heartbeat, could I find/afford it. In the meantime, it's almost time to go back and get my mom some more handsoap! ;)

Tiffany is one of the most charismatic fragrances I have encountered, full of integrity, feminity and charm. It brings to mind Audrey Hepburn's character in the 1953 film Roman Holiday -- a princess raised in luxury and grace, escaping from her rigid schedule to quench her thirst for freedom and adventure. Tiffany doesn't olfactorily reflect freedom and adventure as we might interpret it today, with contemporary notes that might be categorically citrus aquatic or exotically spicy, taking us to far away places. Instead, the fragrance remains perfectly structured to classic Chanel-like standards with intentional rebelliously playful notes of iris, blackcurrant, and orange. Iris, rose, and sandalwood feature prominently in cool, powdered composition, but then is contrasted with warm, radiant golden accords of sweet mandarines, time-honored amber, exquisite white flowers and ylang-ylang. The blackcurrant is cold but luminious, without any berry character but with a little tannic undertone and dark green violet leaf that is reminiscent of the fruit's skin. Tiffany is truly a classic masterpiece that I originally didn't appreciate as much as I do today. Tiffany is evocative of a spirited escape from prototypical fastidiousness while never losing her virtue. So glad to be gifted with a full vintage bottle of this from the man I love!

Tiffany was my signature scent in my early 20's in college. Looking back, the composition seems a little advanced for such a young girl, but I just knew it smelled good. A very heady and rich floral fragrance that has some serious lasting power. This one really embodies the word "perfume" to me. I have not worn it in years, even decades, but was shocked to be reminded of it when I tried a new blind buy...Bijan VIP. Yes, to my nose this was so close to Tiffany's scent, and could it be that a $6.55 2.5 oz bottle could duplicate my beloved (but expensive - currently averages about $200 for a 1.7 on ebay) Tiffany? Well I had to research the notes, and here are the similarities: Both open with Black currant and mandarin Middle notes share Lily & Jasmine, while Tiffany has several others like violet & Ylang - VIP has Tiare Base notes share Amber & vanilla, while Tiffany has sandalwood & vetiver - VIP has musk Overall, they are quite close in composition, and on my chemistry smell almost identical. I share this so others who have loved Tiffany and choose not to spend hundreds on it may have a ridiculously inexpensive alternative that is still a high quality fume. For under $10 it is well worth the gamble.

Eek, there's a Coty reformulation? This isnt the place or time to get lost in Coty's history - I have respect for Francois Coty and much done in his name but two modern companies guaranteed to make reformulations that will cause trails of tears are Coty and L'Oreal. So it's a good thing that I am well supplied with a tall rectangular eau de parfum and an almost full ounce of parfum splash. Disability has forced me to retire early and move to my Dear Husband's neighborhood, far from anyone or anything I know. So it could seem pointless to keep stocked on a perfume like Tiffany - she's an uptown late 80s scent for dinner at the country club or something that costs money. Which means when I wear it to take a walk while waiting on my laundry I smell sooo marvellous. I don't know if there's anywhere that Tiffany would be an easy choice to wear in 2017 but it's a gorgeous, rich, sensuous perfume that you couldn't not feel tall in. Good thing for retired ladies, we're all considered potentially batty and thus no perfume is out of the question.

Fantastic multidimensial Damascus rose, its develops all the time, and entailing you further and further in your subconscious, you follow after it speechless and bewitched. It will make you its own slave time after time of wearing, you will see. The juice of mandarine and black currant is divine here, - same as in Tiffany Trueste that I admire as well - fruitiness paired with flowerness in a mesmerizing way, that logically people can only manage to succeed in another Universe, producing there nectar like flowers themselves, yet Demanchy did it on this earth and in our time. I would take him out for that) I beleive he was working at that period of time in collaboration with Jacques Polge, thats why these two fragrances from Tiffany have such a similar vibe. Its deep, but tender, persistant, but fragile, it is aristocratic, but gripping and thrilling. In many scents that I do vote "love" there is always something that I would want to improve slightly, not like that with Tiffany. Its superior, beyond perfection.

Oh Tiffany, how I love you......when I was 14, I lived in Newmarket - the horse racing capital of the world. That year Tiffany sponsored the 2000 Guineas and my Dad brought me a miniature of this. At the age of 14, I was a complete perfume virgin so I didn't think much of this as a gift. Then one day I dabbed some on. Even as a clueless adolescent, I knew this was something special. It is quite strong when first applied but the dry down is beautiful. I'm no good with notes but this is a gorgeous floral. The silage is amazing and the longevity is exceptional. I've had, and have, perfumes from other jewellers and I honestly think they're not a patch on this beauty. It is difficult to get in the UK and when you can get it, it's expensive. That said, I can't imagine not having a miniature of Tiffany. Masterpiece.

Keep in mind you read "Tiffany" on the box, while you should read "Chanel". This is a scent 100% developed and manufactured by Chanel in Paris, then rebranded Tiffany for legal reasons. Tiffany / Chanel is a really balanced floral done in the way only Chanel could do. It is delicate, classy, rich, opulent, alluring and sensual. It is delicate and strong at the same time. It smells rich and expensive, and you won't have any idea of cheap or synthetic aromachemicals. In fact, it was sold at premium price during its launch. Whatever your preferences, you will appreciate the composition and the blending of so many exquisite flowers.. The only con is that's not for young ladies. Apart this it deserves two thumbs up.

Update! Achtung! Attention! Uwaga! Do you want to have 118$ version of it for 4$ :) 1. Go to City Centre in Dubai Deira to Carrefour market :) 2. Go to Beauty Department 3. Go to body powder section. 4. Search for: Levinia "Vogue" talc from Malaysia :) 5. Open the box- sniff it- welcome to Tiffany world. I am 100% sure either way one of them have copied the formula. And I will tell you- they have mastered it :) The one different is Tiffany is liquid and ... Levinia is a talc. I have both :) This powder's font is violet and they said they have added - white flowers. Well Tiffany has iris and white flowers too....

I received a gift set including cologne, bath gel and lotion as a Christmas gift from my late husband. He joked that he wanted me to have something from Tiffany's and couldn't afford the jewelry he wanted...I've treasured the blue Tiffany box as much as the fragrance. I agree--it is very strong when I first put it on but in a little while it lightens up. Very suitable for the office, but I tend to use it as my special event fragrance. It is however, the sentimental connection that tugs at my heart and always will.

I have purchased it from 1-800 Tiffany number will arrive tommorow- this is what have happened...Saturday July 1st - Michigan Ave- Chicago we had 4 bottles left.. next day I went there at 11 AM and there was no bottles anymore. When I left the boutique I just have dialed: 8008433269 and they still had it. I love this scent on winter time. It blends nice in the summer but... winter displays the whole richness. I will open my Jan 8th 2018 for my B-Day. Thank you...Francois Demachy <3

One of the best scents to ever be released to the public. Hands down! Everything about this is so rich, bold, and regal. Younger noses may not be able to appreciate it, but I have no doubt eventually they will. One of my mothers signature scents, she was so hurt it discontinued. I was so hurt to see the retail price compared to the 2nd hand market price lol.

This has been a LOVE of mine since 1987. I was lucky enough to score 3 bottles from the Tiffany warehouse just after it was discontinued and still have 2 unopened in boxes. One of my favourite flower bombs to wear in the spring &summer months! It is very white floral forward but is exceptionally unique. There is nothing that even resembles this closely!!

one of my favorite, long lasting, heavenly fragrance! very classy. at first i think it is too 'old' for me but as i use it more i am addict to the strong woody feeling. it made me feel secure and confident. something too good to be true!

This is a masterpiece of Tiffany - they do not do scents like in the 80s 90s anymore - cannot add more than what’s been stated!!! It is a massive compliment getter and it lasts so long

So I was wandering around in a mediocre thrift shop, nothing really interesting there, just the same old wooden or ginger jar lamps, paperback romances, hardback best sellers, racks upon racks of used polyester dresses etc. I'm a treasure hunter. I love the thrill of finding that diamond ring lost in the tangle of costume jewelry. Therefore I had not given up. In the glass locked display case, wherein the better class of junk is found, I squinted through the smudgy glass... There was a gold filigree rectangular bottle. Hmmmmmm..... When I got my greedy little hands on it I knew it was... Something..... There was perhaps 1/3 bottle of perfume left and it was a rich dark juice. Was I going to leave this? Not a chance. I'd never heard of Tiffany perfume before?.. But Tiffany.. It had to be good right? Yes, yes it was. This was PERFUME. Serious, rich, intoxicating. I was still in the process of deciding what sort of perfume I liked (if any,I am exceedingly sensitive to smells and was not sure I could endure wearing any perfume) and this started pushing all of my oh yes this buttons. My mother's mother was glamorous and beautiful. She came of age in the 40s, when glamour was expected. She did not disappoint. She did not wear this perfume, but her perfumes were the real thing. True, unrepentant, luxurious scents. It was like I found my Mimi (uh, no indeed she was not referred to as Grandma,Granny. No.) again. So. Tiffany vintage is beautiful, not pretty or sugary, but.beautiful and extravagant.

I ENJOY this very much. Funny word to us, "enjoy", because usually I use words like "love", "like", for describing how I feel about fragrance, but that is the word that comes to mind when I think of this one. It is a heavy fragrance, lasting. I've had one bottle for years. A little has gone a long way. For me now, it is a special occasion fragrance. I would not wear this every day. However, the exception is for business. It is a dressier fragrance, not casual. I wear it in the daytime into night, but would not select it as my nighttime fragrance. It is a mature fragrance - not for college GIRLS and younger, but indeed for college WOMEN and older. A fragrance to be worn that commands respect and attention. Not a fragrance with which to flirt. You wear this fragrance when you are "doing something of importance ", not lounging around. I don't know too many women that know about Tiffany's fragrances, so you are likely to stand out in the crowd when you put her on. NOTE: I enjoy mixing and matching fragrances to create a unique fragrance experience and I discovered that Tiffany at my neck and Bvlgari's Omnia Crystalline EDP everywhere else works very well together. Tiffany is versatile in that it's late December now and I feel she is quite appropriate for this time of year and she really wears well in warmer months. Right now she smells very warm and cuddly, but in the summer, she smells very heavy floral.

I first started wearing this scent when i was 23. I smelled it on my friend and asked her what it was. Mind you, she used to bathe in it which is definately not a good idea because i could smell her from several feet away. When used lightly, this is rich spicy floral that is very elegant and classy. There is light mandarin note in the opening but its very fleeing-to me, this scent is dominated by orange blossom and rose. Thanks to vetyver, there is spicy warm drydown that has a bit of masculine feel to it but yet its a very feminine fragrance. Its rather potent so one or two sprays will last for several hours easy. I just purchased a bottle again and unfortunately, i had to get it at the Tiffany store because noone carries it anymore. Smelling it brings back happy memories for me:) I would put this scent in the same category as Beautiful, Vera Wang, Rare Gold, or new Lady Million. Mind you, i think that Tiffany is more spicy and full bodied that all of the fragrances that i listed, with superior lasting power. If you want a truly memorable scent-try Tiffany

Tiffany is a great feminine,floral fragrance.I get a sample from a wonderful fragrantica member and i really like this scent. When you take the first sniff you smell a beautiful freshness of the fruit's(i smelled my wrist and at the same time i want to put a watermelon chapstick on my lips and the smell of both was awsome,i think with a watermelon note this scent would be perfect!) After some minutes you smell these flower power it's so clean, soft,sensual and powdery you also smell the base notes it's a bit woody but this is more then right and a touch of vanilla and amber which make it warm and light sweet.Tiffany is similar to Serge Lutens-Nuit de Cellophane both have one strong flower note when i smell it all the time it reminds me a bit at kiwi. It's good for the daytime but also good for the nighttime,a perfect scent for the spring and fall time,in the summertime it's also not false.You can wear it everyday but also on special day's.

I used to love this one back in time when I still could smell it somewhere. I remember it as a beautiful complex warm floral with woody undertones. Very elegant and very true to the term PERFUME. Compared to this ones many recent perfumes smell like a joke, even when they are pleasant. It was expensive. I managed to have a few samples many years ago (I don't know how) and found then back after years! It still smells great! I heard it was re-formulated and I wish I could smell the current version out of curiosity, but I don't get any here. I think that perfumes like this one should be used as model of elegance and feminity. Maybe too classic for some, but classics are so for a reason.

From the very first sniff Tiffany EDP smelled to me like a cross between Chanel Allure and Coco (the grown up black lable EDP, not Mademoiselle). It still does ;) it's a decent perfume, however much less sparkling than Allure and by far less grand than Coco. Therefore I can hardly imagine Tiffany worn everyday like Allure and with floor-hitting velvet dress, like Coco. I wanted it and was happy to win on eBay at a bargain price but finally use it quite not so often. Really, I do not attend that much daytime formal functions where it could have been appropriate. Sillage is good, the perfume itself is quite pleasing and may be easily enjoyed by mature wearers

I wore Tiffany in high school back in the 90s. My Mom had a bottle (for special occasions only) and I begged for a bottle. I adored it - so spicy and floral! It made me feel so grown up. It was probably a little old for me, but alas... I did not want to wear Sunflowers like all of my friends. Sadly, Tiffany has been reformulated and ruined. I bought a bottle, and it was a sad imitation of my beautiful memories. It now smells sour and strange, and slightly musty. I wish this weren't the case, as it was fantastic!

i have a vintage sample. this opens with flowers and fruits, leans a bit boozy. i get a lot of black currant and some orange, along with rose and orange blossom. black currant is fairly strong but i get some iris, lily, ylang ylang and a fair amount of amber. it's a very pretty floral that reminds me of my younger days and definitely smells familiar. i miss the days when fruity florals smelled like this! after the drydown i get YY and orange blossom the strongest. it's a syrupy, ambery 80s/90s floral.

PS My bottle was bought in Tiffany's, in Las Vegas, in the early 2000's. Not sure which formula I have. I see by reading previous reviews it has undergone some reformulation. Mine is very heavy and strong. I don't need to use much at all and it lasts a good 8 hours, if not more. I never smelled it in the 80's so I don't know how it compares, but I'm pleased with the bottle I have. NOTE: I'm also very pleased with my new bottle of Pure Tiffany.

I brought a mini of this to Paris my first time there in the mid 90's. I will forever associate my favorite city, my home away from home...with the scent of Tiffany. To me, it is such a classy, elegant, floral...but with an underlying hint of mischief. Funny, I finally found an American fragrance I liked...and that I discovered it while in Paris! Love irony.

A very classic floral scent. Reminds me of sniffing the bottles on my mother's dresser as a child. It's a heavy floral, not light or white at all. Has a nice woody base. Has good staying power and lasts all day. I wear it, but only occasionally. I've had a sample for 2 years and it is still almost full. Not my favorite, but still beautiful and classic.

i smell tuberose ,lots of it with carnations.For me Tiffany is between like and love.Something like i like it very very very much.Too bad is so hard to find.It has similarities with Panthere but the Panthere is more sharp ,this one is more creamy .I wish i had a full bottle

This was one of my favorites in the 1980s when I was in high school. I thought it smelled elegant, refined, sophisticated.

My mother had a bottle of this perfume and it smells really nice very well balanced sophisticated scent.

I loved this stuff when it first came out in the 1980's. For 5 years anyway, and then I got tired of being clubbed over the head with white florals. The orange blossom and the jasmine are just overwhelming. I think maybe the design of the bottle is at fault; the sprayer on the original bottle isn't covered, so it probably ages a lot faster than regular spray edt/edp that has a cap. Hey, Tiffany wanted you to keep buying it, even if the bottle wasn't empty. Tiffany was one of the first jewelry makers to bring out a perfume, and I think a lot of us bought into the snob appeal Tiffany crafted about it. Five years later it wasn't all that unique; it was just another loud perfume and not all that creative. (Sort of like most of their jewelry.)

I own a bottle from, I think, somewhere around 2013 and I want to like this sooo bad but I just can't bring myself to, no matter how many times I try. To me personally, and I really don't mean to offend anyone!, this smells like the epitome of and old lady perfume. It's suffocating because it's so strong, it's too soapy, has that fresh linen scent to it and at the same time it's really woody and has a mix of flowers that just rubs me the wrong way and feels dusty. A few friends that got to smell it on me and on its own basically said the exact same thing about it. I don't get the hype but I know that fragrances can smell sooo different to different people and I'm sure other people can pull this off, it's just not for me.

I am not particularly fond of this fragrance. I inherited the bottle from my daughter. I accidentally dropped it and it 'smashed' however, it did not linger even then, as long as I would have liked. I was just not impressed with the fragrance as a whole.

Do what you want with this review as I'm a guy who doesn't collect vintage female perfumery, I am a vintage cologne collector and have hundreds of male fragrances between 1970s-2020s. This 1980s formula Tiffany for women EDP came across my nose and has taken my breath away - Is just so incredibly addictive and devine! One of the most infectious, gorgeous, rich, & timeless female designed perfumes that has ever came across my seasoned nose. I have a very unimpressed opinion about female perfumes in general but this masterpiece shatters my pessimism. Somehow this fragrance has no age - as it somehow combines every era of a womans life into one. Youth, young adult, middle age, and even ever so slightly the fragile delicate touch of an elder woman. (Don't worry - not a grandma scent!). If a Desperate Housewives character were to wear this it would be somewhere between Bree, Gabby, and Edie - Bree for the elegance, Gabby for the niche quality & expensive taste, and Edie for the seduction and the refusal to grow old and tired. Tiffany EDP vintage is not garlic smelling, a floral that's not overly floral, A sweet perfume that's not overly gourmand, not offensively animalic; just perfectly well blended and designed to be timeless feminine and uplifting fruity sweetened floral in the expensive prestigious brand that is Tiffany. This is CHANEL in quality given Chanel low key worked along side Tiffany in this era. If its true the master and previous in house perfumer of Christian Dior made this; Francois Demachy- then this is even a more relevant tidbit to tell you how insatiable this perfume is. Demachy is a master at what he does and his era of Dior is the golden era with his discontinued remastered creations selling for top dollar. The purple black currant along the expensive warm syrupy florals with vanilla nuances is literally like an ethereal experience outside of this physical cold harsh world we live in. A near death experience if I'm allowed to be dramatic. It's almost like they took a tiffany diamond melted it and somehow made it into a fragrance - just absolute magic. All the 'clear' tiffany perfumes I see everywhere are quite laughable - could you make it anymore obvious your perfumes are now synthetic and depressing? This rich blood orange juice on the other hand - unapologetically shows you its rank. I'm deeply jealous I am not able to wear this and still assert my masculinity. As much as I'd like to tell myself I can - the blackcurrant, ylang ylang, jasmine vanilla combo privately reserves this fragrance for only the most worthy females out there with the most impeccable taste. DO NOT hesitate to buy this vintage EDP - Its probably the only female perfume you may ever need.

My neighbore let me sample hers. I guess she's had it for quite a while because it had a slight sourness to it, but maybe that's my nose. I sprayed it and It's very strong that's for sure. The kind of perfume you only want to dab just ever so slightly on the wrist. I walked outside and i could smell it all around. She was not joking when she said you can smell it in the next room. I don't get any vanilla, only sandalwood, a hint of amber and ylangylang. It's very chique and would be perfect on a crisp day in the Wintertime or during a date time on a spring evening. This by all means is not my type of smell because it's just so incredibly strong and my chemistry brings out the very strong notes and benzoin, and eventually gave me the nastiest headache,but I do have to give it credit for it's expensive and classy feel to it. The name is well deserved! Young country girl trying to make it in the big city and turning heads. If you have a sensitive nose and are seseptible to headachs, I would not reccomend this, but if you like Citrus very floral this is for you!

I have the vintage Tiffany edp which is much richer and rounded than the Coty version. The modern Tiffany i tried and it does not have the changing phases as the vintage, it does not project or last as long either. Vintage Tifffany's opening can be summmed up as pure gold. It truly makes me thing of luxurious gold jewelry with sparkling diamonds, immense diamonds. Thick 18k diamond necklaces in particular. The middle phase brings out the most beautiful ylang amongst peony and jasmine. Such a beautiful blend of multi colored florals as of yellow, pink and bright white tones. So well blended. Has black currrant that adds sophistication and makes this a great choice for formal night wear. Dries down into a classic jasmine ylang heaven. Lasts well into the next day. Heck, this remained on my skin after a shower the following day. It's timeless. The modern Cody version is a sad attempt. Not even half of what it was originally. The richness and luxury of it's past self is no longer there. Spring for a vintage edp. It is of much higher quality, indefinitely.

Tiffany is luxury in a bottle. I love to wear this when I'm in a designer evening gown and I'm performing as a lounge singer. This is classy, delicate but detectable. It's a floral fragrance sweetly perfumed violets, roses, orange blossom ylang-ylang and iris. The base is mostly amber. The vanilla is not big. This doesn't become a gourmand or fruity scent. It stays floral. For whatever reason people associate floral fragrances with older women and fruity or sweet gourmand perfumes with younger women but that's BS to me. A scent has no age or social group. It's just a smell for God's sake. I wear whatever I want when I want and age has nothing to do with it. The thing about this fragrance is that it does smell opulent and luxurious like a Chanel and so you have to wear it when you're all dressed up to go to formal evening affairs. Beautiful, classically feminine, romantic. It's a shame all they have now are miniatures. I want a big bottle of this stuff!!!

When I was in 8th grade around 2003, I went on a school trip to New York City. My grandmother was a chaperone, and when we were there we stopped at Tiffany on 5th Ave, and her and another one of the chaperones (my classmates mom) went in here, and she came out with this perfume. Her and her daughter, my classmate, ended up wearing this everyday of my trip — so now, I subconsciously associate this fragrance with NYC (which is kind of perfect). It’s been a long time, but I can still remember what it smelled like... floral, rich, and opulent. I remember we were all traversing the city, smelling like a million bucks. It smells like the 90s to me, in the most perfect way. They simply dont make fragrances like this anymore. I wasn’t the biggest fan when I first smelled it (I was literally 13 or 14 so thats expected) but recalling it.. I wish I could get my nose on it again. A show stopper.

I love this so much. It’s bold, sweet, classy, sassy, huge and bright. It’s really hard to let go of this one and I’m devastated it’s been discontinued as it’s one of my first true loves from way back when I first started becoming a perfume hoarder. Tiffany is a beauty and a beast! One spray lasts and lasts! They really don’t make perfume like this these days. For quite some time now I’ve been eyeing a seller on eBay who had 3 bottles of this rare gem. However, within the last week two of those bottles have sold so it was time to pull the trigger. I’ve been planning to buy a 50ml bottle of Le Labo Lys 41, but recognising the urgency of the situation and rationalising that not only was the Le Labo actually a tad bit more expensive than the vintage Tiffany, I’d have plenty of time to buy Lys 41 later so a 50ml bottle of Tiffany is on its way to me.

I have a vintage sample. It does indeed remind me of Jil Sander #4 but juicier, younger, lacking the spicy quality #4 has. Furthermore, Tiffany has a very distinct blackcurrant note whereas Jil Sander has an indescript deep purple fruity aspect (said to be plum.) I really like this fragrance, it's like a more refined, upscale version of an 00s fresh-fruity-floral. I imagine this is what hip sporty college girls wore in the 80s and early 90s Edit: I've been wearing this all day. Both my mother who prefers more classic perfumes and my little sister who wears Burberry Her really liked this. It's perfectly wearable and modern enough for today; I can't imagine why it never got more hype or why it was discontinued. It's almost etherial, fairy-like at times; I keep reapplying it and it's just pure fresh euphoria.

Tiffany has a Chanel-like chicness to it. Refined and timeless. A beautifully done floral that isn't over the top even though Bulgarian rose is in the ranks. Opens similar to Galanos by Galanos but quickly quiets to a rosy/violet dusted softly with woods. I smell the orange softly now and again, if I try hard. Even though vanilla is the only spice listed it still appears to have a slightly oriental spicy note. If not lathered on it can be a nice, daily office scent. Silliage: I applied around 6:30a.m. It is now 11:13am and it has calmed way down. I have to put nose to hand to detect but it was applied lightly in the first place. Can be worn day or night. It's just that versatile. Who doesn't want to be refined and timeless sometimes?

Real talk? Synthetic white flowers steeped in old school grape flavored Dimetapp cough medicine. Not understanding why this frag is going for the middle triple digits on the bay. Actually, perhaps I DO understand----if one is not familiar with a wide range of classically composed fragrances, especially those within the vintage category, and instead is only knowledgeable of the designer dreck at most department store counters these days, Tiffany's EDP will translate into an olfactory beauty of astounding proportions. In reality to the average vintage frag head, it's fair to middling... at best.

This scent is LUXE. Very rich and SPARKELY. Sparkles like diamonds. The silage is beastly and will rub of on anything you wear. I must say the EDP is very thick and strong. I much preferred the EDT when it was available. I no longer wear this but it certainly served me well. This scent gives you diamonds when you can't afford any, it sprinkles your bed with $100 bills and instantly gives you a touch of class. Leathery and sparkly, this perfume is diamonds in a champagne flute.

This was heavy in my high school perfume rotation. A 90's floral bomb in all its unapologetic glory. In 2012 I went into a Tiffany store at Fairfax Square in VA and there was a gift set on a display shelf so I bought it. It was like finding a four leaf clover. Demachy is truly such a talent. I wish they would bring this magical creation back (along with Trueste) because their current fragrances are meh.

A very plummy, fruity orange blossom scent with a definite 80s feeling. It's only vaguely oriental for all it's oriental notes, but is mostly an elegant fruited floral, without being silly or girlish. Complex and layered, it's elegant without being snobbish, and strong without being loud or obtrusive. A nice scent, but particularly for evening. This wouldn't make an office scent, I think.

Beautiful classic perfume. It is nothing at all like the new Tiffany's perfume. The new one of 2017 is zesty mandarin and lemon mixed with a Chanel number 5 type of fragrance. This one is a heavy and a beautiful strong floral. It has better staying power than the new fragrance. I would recommend gretting this beautiful fragrance. I like the new one too although staying power is poor.

I got a sample of this to try as I used to love it back in 1990. I'm not sure if the sample is after they reformulated but it was nothing like I remembered. I remembered it being rich, full, and a head turner frag.... not anymore. Then I tried the new Tiffany & CO that came out this year with the hopes of a new lovely Tiffany fragrance and sadly it was truly dreadful.

Finally got my hands on a 50 ml. vintage bottle of this and it still smells divine! It takes me back when I would just sniff this off of a magazine strip on its ad page. Scored a couple of vials back in highschool and I thought this was something I owed to myself! Yes, there were tears. x
