"This exclusive fragrance is based on the scent of various planks of wood emanating from the gondola and the olfactory notes that accompany our journey through the city floating in the sea" From the first spray, I was not expecting it to smell quite different from other woody-based fragrances. To be honest, this scent is well blended, making it hard for me to separate the notes. It's quite refined and, to be honest, it is quite safe and suitable for both genders. I think you can wear this in any season except when it's over 40 degrees Celsius. You can even wear this to the office and not offend anyone. This would make a nice signature scent, in my opinion. At the top, I don't get the mandarin and bergamot, but more of Sicilian lemon and orange with some clove and cardamom. For those who don't like saffron, you don't have to worry about it, as you can't really smell it here, or perhaps it's blended so well with the other notes. In the middle, you will get an orange blossom blending well with the rose and other flowers. The rose here doesn't stand out as a typical rose scent, but more of a hint in the background. So don't worry if you don't like flowers. The flowers here, for me, mostly provide support in the middle to ensure the scent doesn't become too flat. So, the base plays a vital part, as you can distinctly smell good woody components and hints of patchouli and oud. The oud here is safe, and if you're not into oud, you don't have to worry about it. The coumarin/Tonka and vanilla give this fragrance a lift, ensuring that it smells pretty nice. Cheers!"
