Bigia

Got this perfume a few months ago and was so surprised because I didn't think these notes could smell good. But damn, this blend is amazing and the notes go so good together, you can smell every note but not too much of it, it's really balanced. The fruity opening with the saffron leads to a floral musky scent and ends up with great musky oud notes. So soft and addicting!

Unique and super amazing fragrance with the roses and oud that smells beyond perfection in such a fantastic proportion. There are some fruity accords as well made up of red fruits, passion fruit and saffron too. Magnolia and musk with white orchids projects so well in the heart and dry down is made up of amber, sand, oud and musk. This soft and gentle scent is having superb beastly performance that makes this scent outshine. Men can wear it easily on any occasion and anytime of the year, while the sexy, strong and intriguing women must prefer wearing it. This reminded me of Harrods Ouds but this one has better performance and more perfectly balanced roses. I came across this fragrance due to one of my colleagues who used to smell so nice even at the end of work day so I asked her once, how she smells so nice. It was then she stated me this bottle of Bigia by Tiziana Terenzi which was my on my perfume shelf the very next week. Since then, I am loving it!!! <3

I bought this sample for the passion fruit note and the uniqueness factor, which does not disappoint. Nice, definitely different, exotic twist to an oriental rose frag. Scarce oud, a little woodsiness is all that is present and much tartness. I've been experimenting with exotic fruits in orientals, as I love both, it's been interesting, but I am yet to find a keeper as I must admit it's an unusual combination that I'm not entirely sure goes together. I wouldn't say this is like Rose D'Arabie like some have stated, which is a safe take on the usual floriental go to notes (rose patch oud) Try Amoroud midnight rose if you like this one, though.... I'm yet to be convinced that exotic fruits have a place in the florientalsphere.

I love sweet jammy roses, but unfortunately this is not it. On my skin it's very sour because of the passion fruit and berries, and it is not getting any sweeter. Oh saffron note is so strong here, it's killing me. But! Where is oud? Oud has been lost on my skin under all that overwhelming sour berry/saffron concoction. Bigia to me smells like one of those Indian cuisine desserts with some fruits, saffron and rose water added! And I couldn't get rid of Indian food idea during 6 hours while Bigia has been living on my skin its own life. Hard pass for me. Pity.

At first I drew comparison to his Harrods Ouds, since 1. they're about the same price (because Bigia is ONLY available in the Anniversary edition) 2. The Harrods' collection used his grandpa's 45-yr-old macerated oud while this one used his recipe + 20-yr-old macerated oud but I was wrong. This is a very VERY understated fragrance--lightly sweet & rosy with only a little bit of everything else and almost no oud. My nose could just be tired that day, but I can name at least 5 better Montales... A great disappointment.

Red roses, pepper, passionfruit, and saffron. It could include some oud so far, but mostly it's saffron and roses. It has fruitti note, Amber, and musk as well. I don't see it as a string stand alone frag, maybe another tiziana blends.

Could this be an aesthetic "sibling" of Casanova (by the same brand)? Wouldn't mind having this olfactory gem!

Very sweet gentle fragrance. I love the way it lands on me. Intriguing, sexy for a strong woman indeed.
