Burdel

Passing through Neiman a couple days ago I spotted this scent and sprayed in on a whim. Whooaaa was I instantly mesmerized. It’s super complex and a little weird in the absolute best way possible. On me, there is an initial smell of what I can only describe as nostalgic play dough (which I adore)....the dry down is rich and sexy and powdery, and has me continually smelling myself. Obvi I dug deep and purchased this hidden gem ($$$$), and it’s SO worth it. 2 sprays is more than enough for the day. And yo, the packaging???? I won’t spoil the surprise. Let’s just say it’s sups over the top 😂💯

Alexandria II is much "drier" than this one, Burdel is spicy, slightly flowery, and sweeter overall. I honestly wouldn't even make the connection between the two. Still, for a faithful "replica", it's baffling how this one has flown under the radar. It's a potent, rich scent that will make you stand out.

Ok this is definitely an interesting complex/simple scent. The name of fragrance has nothing to do with promiscuity, a brothel/bordel or something similar. It has to do with growing up, running for dreams and a memory from a kind of growing up. That is permeated with various feelings.This is not a fragrance for boys. This is the scent of adult person in whom that childish dream smolders. The smell in the opening is wonderful ( be sure of that) but later some people not find in this creation. When we get to the base it becomes a little unusual but still wearable( for me ) this fragrance made me want to smell it on my hand again and again. As with everyone, it's a deep analysis, reflection, thinking about the smell. Weighing ..yes or no. It definitely requires more testing to fit the whole story and find the person who would wear this perfume. After some time still good in in an undecided sense with a good overtone of a passing grade. The final stage of the fragrance is divine. The smell is strong and complex, performances are as before for all of Paolo’s creations above levels. Worth the money? YES ! Interesting smell and I think it will be written more about in the coming years. This is not a perfume that you can compare with anything. Let alone not with Xerjoff Alexandria II ..no way..totally 2 different worlds/GENRES. imagine an old shelf in the room. And there is a bronze ball on it. Which has something engraved in it. You take that ball in your hand and you know the background story..you feel the weight of the ball.. you smell the ball... and put it back on the shelf. and that feeling of weight in the hand is this smell. Nostalgic time in a bottle. The smell is not depressing, but it is melancholic. Definitely not for a date, date or work. This is a job where you will be alone with yourself and your thoughts in consideration and reflection... you can be in nature, in your room... at the sea... in a sweater or a shirt... I see him in something other than a short shirt. This scent could evoke really nice emotions in someone who is used to being alone. Performance 10/10 Smell: For me personally 8 out of 10 ( unusually interesting and addictive ) But it may be too much for someone because is strong. Not strong in sharp way or beast frag mode..just strong as a character. An interesting experience translated into a perfume liquid.

A bold flamboyant woody spice scent designed as a tribute to the characters in the films of Federico Fellini. The scent opens with strong aromatic notes of cardamom, cumin, labdanum and bergamot. The heart is guaiac wood, cypriol, gurjun balsam and slight lily of the valley. The perfume settles into a dense musky powdery bed of synthetic musk, ambergris, Hindi oud, sandalwood and vanilla. The masculine leaning scent has tremendous sillage and projection and very good longevity. This is a scent bound to shock many because of its unabashed animalic overtones. But those who don’t care about being eccentrically over the top like the perfumer behind the scent need to check this kitchen sink of a scent out. Unapologetic gleeful overindulgence. Enjoy!

I got a random sample of this for a purchase so didn’t know what I was getting myself into. Loves the opening, very zesty and bright. But then the cumin came in, my skin pulls cumin strongly , maybe because I cook with it often lol so it made me a bit nauseous, so it’s an automatic no for me. However even though I know it’s not for me, I can see how other ppl would like this a lot. If I ignore that pungent cumin , I get a creamy woody undertone almost some kind of lotion-like vibe, some kind of balsam note starts to creep in which I do enjoy my balsams. Eventually the cumin does dial down but i can still pick it out . This I would enjoy smelling on a man instead of another woman but each their own. Overall good scent !

Update: This is beautiful. It is definitely in the same scent family as Xerjoff's Alexandria II, but it is much closer to the flanker Alexandria Orientale because of the pronounced oud present throughout the life of the fragrance. It is also significantly less screechy/abrasive than A2. The oud is immediately noticeable and sweetened by a tart bergamot and a sweet cardamom (similar to the cardamom in Tom Ford's Oud Wood). The cardamom lasts into the mid, but the bergamot fades fairly quickly, creating room for a nice resinous touch from the balsam and Cypriol. The labdanum is listed as a top note, but it isn't noticeable in my opinion until this fragrance approaches its base, where it combines with a vanillic, creamy sandalwood accord to take over the fragrance. This has excellent performance all the way around and really is an improvement over A2 in every way. I highly recommend seeking this one out Sampled this at Neiman's yesterday in passing, and the scent emanating from the tester strip on my ride home was intoxicating enough to spur an online order for a bottle. I will come back and update after a few wears, but my initial impression of this is Xerjoff's Alexandria 2 powdery/spicy wood base with a much more pronounced oud present throughout the fragrance. Anyone blind buying this in the hopes that it is a clone of A2 will be sorely disappointed, as it is much closer to Alexandria Orientale in my opinion with a smoother, less animalic oud.

If you love perfumes like Stercus or Siminalis or More Sex then this is right up your alley. Sex in a bottle, as the name recalls Burdel o Bordello can mean Sex Parlour or also "chaos", we say "che burdel ! " it's very funny. I feel this scent tends on Masculine only for sure. Very realistic and animalistic. Opens then to all the other notes well. It's a woody balsam for the soul, with a spicy heart and the cardamom note ( which i love ) is used sapiently. Well done for the family it belongs to. I ve had it in my page for a while in my list "the men I love" . Not a blind buy. Spray responsibly. He has savoir faire, culture, elegance, but never arrogance, never ego, and for that his streght is even more evident. He's extremely intelligent, has a lot of stories in his archive, he's generous of heart ( which is a different thing). He is fascinating and intriguing, spicy , never distasteful, yet quietly fierce and determined. You leave dinner wanting more, more time together, more of his voice, stories, brain, of his laughs and smirks, and you will most definitely feel like his prey, but prized. He is strong and knows what he wants. He has values and he has a deep soul. Enjoy !

Burdel is a spicy scent with the woody base mostly having a boldness along with the strong aromatic opening notes of cumin, bergamot, cardamom, and labdanum. Middle notes in this one is cypariol, guaiac wood, and balsam with lily of the valley. Dry down is all about the musk, ambergris, oud, vanilla, and sandalwood. There is more of a masculine character in this one as per me due to the spiciness and woodiness in it. The silage is enormous and the longevity is long-lasting. Animalic overtones in this again make it lean towards masculine vibes. This is not a simple scent but not even a complex one. I would rather categorize it into the interesting scent category with the wonderful fragrance. I believe any men and women with a strong and bold personality could wear this one easily. I suggest you to try this on your skin and as per your fragrance preferences. For me, this is 910 kind of fragrance.

Woody sexy scent that amazes and mesmerizes the wearer completely. There is simplicity as well as complexity in this one. Spices such as cumin, cardamom, calabrain and bergamot gives it a spicy yet appealing opening. Moving ahead there is cyproil oil, lily of valley, nagarmotha, gurjan balsam and guaiac wood giving it floral and ambery woody kind of feel throughout. Best of all is dry down where you can smell pure musk, amber, sandalwood and oud with lots and lots of vanilla in the background. A must have in collection of scents. The woodiness, spices and warmth all makes me go gaga about this one. Stunning piece! Lol, the name is the bomb! Also Polish here, moreover, I just received this as a sample with my Delina order from oryginaly.com and I'll take it for a ride soon ;) First impression out of the vial: very rich in cumin and cardamom, and leans masculine. But it's not a skin test nor a proper wear, so not a proper review ;)

Alexandria II? What! No guys! This is not Alexandria II. Not Alexandria orientale! I dont know why these reviewers mislead people. It’s only for 2-5 minutes then it becomes spicy lemon.. Not worth it. Save your money..

starts with a lemon and in the drydown 100% Alexandria 2 just a little more suitable for everyday use. whoever says otherwise has either never smelled Alexandria 2 or never had the burdel under their nose.

Well, in Polish the word "burdel" has two meanings: "brothel" and "mess"...😁
