Casanova

This is sophisticated, classy stuff. It opens floral with a blast of citrus bergamot and is immediately sweet and a little bit spicy. The effect is like incense but there's none in the notes. You sort of feel like it's there though. The middle is all powder and it walks a fine line between too powdery and sweet and being hyper cool and sophisticated. There are leather notes and some spices in there but these are subtle and contribute as opposed to dominate. The pink pepper in it is a masterstroke. You get it after you've sniffed your arm but not during, if that makes sense. The base is an understated affair that isnt here to give an oudy concrete block, but to keep the other notes fresh and likeable. You could layer this over some Ombre Leather by TF or perhaps some Oud Intense by Gucci and it would make it lean heavily masculine in a really sexy way, but as it is it is perfectly unisex to my nose. You may also have the same idea I had, and think on a heavy hitter citrus-based freshie to apply on top of this to make it more summery and casual. I think a weaker citrus fragrance would disappear into the powder of this formidable Casanova so you want something fairly potent and enduring to make it work. Imagination by LV would be a nice idea, as would Citrus Batikanga by Crivelli. Mandarino di Amalfi by TF would be great but you'll have to top up after four or five hours if you're out all day. On its own though, this is a lovely fragrance. I really enjoy it but it is strong and I think would induce headaches if you overspray. I definitely wouldnt recommend that as a guy, for a guy. There is a resinous, ambery quality to the base that makes this smell as rich and sophisticated as the bottle looks. It's rich, heavy stuff. Performance is impressive. It takes six or seven hours to really move in earnest toward your skin as a skin scent and it will stay there all day, and much longer on your clothes. I've tried many TT fragrances and have enjoyed many of them, but have never come across one that I'd say I could or would have as a daily driver, and Casanova is no exception. It is perhaps too sweet and rich to wear to the office or in casual settings (for a man at least, I think this is much more versatile and wearable for women) and I suspect it would be cloying in very hot climates if you put too much on, but adding a citrus layer may help with this if like me, you live in somewhere like the Middle East. I think most of us are collectors to some extent and my over-riding feeling with this fragrance is that I'm glad it's in my collection. I can see myself wearing it once a month probably, but it isnt like anything else I have. It is powdery and sweet like Nishane's Meant To Be Seen, but less floral and fresh; more resinous and rich. Took me 31 hours to put my hands on what it smells exactly like. Something I had, and long used, and no longer is in my collection, that 'powdery notes' note listed it's not convincing to my scent memory, at all. Later, I am finally found! That cumin is here but toned down with musky green notes in the opening to give the whole texture a kind of supporting role rather than the leading one it played in the original creation "31" or may be it's just haphazardly an effect of increasing the concentration of the same juice!!!!! Additionally, to convince you with the "powdery note" listed, and you previously read before smelling, or even will read after. Astoundingly interesting how manipulative the note listing is with how you perceive a fragrance; Paolo is a master is such regard. It might come positively perceived if the note listing was "Powdery notes" but, on the contrary, it would be the opposite if the listing was "Cumin and Rose" like in the original creation credited one; Rose 31 by Le Labo. Both reactions are for the exact same juice; sure some would love both, but few will have the same reaction, and quality goes to Le Labo, no doubt! I am not hyping anything, I am just saying that this is no original creation as well as probably all Tiziana Terenzi fragrances, as far as my humble experience with their offerings. Such a devastation for original creation seekers. Fair enough if you're looking for relatively cheap alternatives!

Great well blended fragrance! This is one of the best fragrances i have tried it is spicy, woody, herbalm, (i dont think its as flowar as parfumo says) but so well mixed and blended it smells awesome it reminds me of dior homme sport but withouth the citrus. great for all year around elegant and easy to wear withouth beeing too boring. Defintly one of my favorite frgarances i have tried. Longevity is good, sillage is average. Elegant and serious while beeing easy to wear. Perfecten, even price is ok for 100ml.

bought this through a Fragrance group on FB for $60 it was 80% full. yes, it is real. it smells really good and my GF loves this fragrance on me, my Friends also really like this on me. To my nose it smells luxurious and its mass appealing enough for my GF and friends to like it and they usually only like designer fragrances.

Casanova is truly a masterpiece! It's warm, inviting, and incredibly sensual. The ambergris is prominent but not overpowering, blending beautifully with the powdery notes and spices. It definitely evokes a sense of romance and intrigue, just like the name suggests. Lasts for hours on my skin!

Aaaah love this! Definitely reminds me of Bois Imperial in the opening, but with a powdery and warm dry down. Incredibly versatile. This will be my next buy!!

Tiziana Terenzi Casanova opens with a moderate projection of floral and powdery notes. The jasmine, orchid, and fig leaf come up as white floral, slightly sweet, and green notes. The bergamot is just a soft touch, not prominent. The powdery notes of the opening create a soft aromatic but projecting accord. A few moments after the initial application, the notes of the heart join the blend enhancing the existing accords but not overpowering them. The most noticeable is the cardamon and its aromatic spicy touch; also, the guaiac wood, myrrh, and leather join creating a mostly woody and resinous accord that adds depth to the fragrance. As the fragrance dries down, the amber, white musk, and ambroxan join their tones creating a projecting accord that comes across as powdery, clean, fresh, airy, and dry. The cedar and oakmoss support the woody accords, but just a touch; the tonka bean and vetiver are supporting tones, some soft aroma, and a light green touch. The most important change from the opening to the dry-down is the initial sharpness of the notes turning into smooth as a result of the base powdery accords. A gorgeous stunning woody floral Oriental, this is another train stopper from Tiziana Terenzi. Designed to evoke the life and times of Roman royal ribaldry, this powdery bomb is quite a delight. The perfume opens with bergamot, jasmine, orchid, fig leaf and what I detect as Iso Super E. As it gets to the heart, one detects ambergris, pink pepper, vanilla, cardamom, guaiac wood, myrrh and leather. Finally it settles on a dense powdery amber, white musk, ambroxan, cedar, oakmoss, tonka bean and vetiver. Incredibly pronounced with a huge sillage and projection ( couple of sprays should suffice), unisex with tremendous longevity. This is a stunner and could evoke strong responses either positive or negative. Enjoy!

Really enjoyed this beautiful smell. It’s very light and faint smells incredibly unique. Truly happy I bought a sample because I don’t think the performance is worth the price tag it’s about 4 hours or so and lacks presence. Powdery , smooth and light. I like it but not full bottle worthy at the price it goes for . 4/5 stars .

An interesting product received from Jomashop. Seated in box crooked, wooden top affixed over spritzer cracked on both sides, perfume residue about. Printing on inside of box lid rubbed off. Bottle indicates 2022. Checkfresh indicates a batch produced 11-15-21. Very expensive lighted box and included booklets. It's not particularly pleasant scent doesn't last ten minutes. Trouble with these discounters is that they get away with no refund if original packaging disturbed and scent has been sprayed. Update: Jomashop wanted pics. Sent an RMA with shipping label. Will see if they deduct return shipping costs for this damaged product.

Casanova, my latest addiction, my new love and best fragrance I came across since long. A big thanks to Paolo for introducing this scent in market which is not unique but no generic too. These notes can be found in many scents but the amber woody accords reflect by this one is blended so fantastically that it fits men and women both. Being women, I am more into floral, fruity and gourmand scents but the amber and wood in this are so well settled with the floral notes and vanilla that it mesmerizes me every time I sniff it. Opening notes in this scent are fig leaf, orchid, jasmine, powdery notes and the bergamot which settles into leathery notes of guaiac wood, myrrh, cardamom, ambergris and pink pepper all with the vanilla touch. Further, it dries down to white musk, amber, ambroxan, cedar, oakmoss, tonka beam and vetiver. Seductive vibes of this mysterious beauty spread an amazing charm that could be felt from long distance. Somehow, the dry down resembles a bit to the Rose 31 by Le Labo but this one is stronger and performs way better. Strong silage and long-lasting longevity make me feel fresh and lively throughout the day with the joy and smoothness of powdery scent settling slowly into leathery one. The touch of warm spices like pepper and cardamom makes it masculine. Bergamot maintains the sweet and soft touch which is not so prominent, fig leaf along with orchis and jasmine introduces the sweet, floral and green notes. There is depthless, elegance, classy and airy feel with clean and dry unisex scent. This one is highly versatile, pleasant and amazingly performing perfume. This could fit best in winter but holding the fresh accords, can be worn in summers too making it super versatile. I personally would prefer it for the outdoor gatherings, romantic dates, club nights, holidaying and regular office too. This is such an amazing scent that could be signature scent of someone. This masterpiece is going to get you several compliments, be ready to for queries about what are you wearing, you smell great kind of compliments with it. Completely a head turner.

Generic and unique fragrance that is amber woody and super addictive. There is wood, amber, vanilla, fruits, flowers and sweetness in such perfection that tends to mesmerizes. I personally loved orchid, jasmine, pink pepper and the pinch of vanilla the most. Tonka bean in this one is the ones causing addiction and bringing up the mysterious and seductive vibes in this fragrance. This reminds me of the Rose 31, Le Labo but the performance of this one is beast and better in every aspect with enormous silage and eternal longevity. There is liveliness and freshness in this that brings smoothness as well as joy. I feel very happy wearing this one. Also, there is some warmth due to spices such as cardamom and pepper. Wear it and you are going to feel elegant, classy and super clean. You can easily wear this pleasant one at any place, at any time and at any day of the year. Truly a compliment getter. WOW scent!

If we ever need to eliminate North Korea from the map, we have a juice to do it with. This potent stuff lasts and lasts. Be careful not to overspray (1-2 max) or you WILL pass out from the powdery sweetness and it will become too floral. Properly sprayed (1-2x) from a decent distance so you get the right atomized mist, this is a tangy, almost sour meets sweet white oriental floral fragrance. Powder, a massive dose of ambigris accord, white musk and various western garden style herbs contribute to smoothing this formula out where the final product is actually a fresh, sweetly spicy, velvety smooth unisex potion. At first sniff I fell in love. However, over time it actually became a bit annoying, too sweet and too much weird ambigris tartness. Projects 1-2 feet for hours, lasts on skin 10-12 hours, on clothes only 3-6 hours. Its extract of perfume concentration, and Tiziana Terenzi doesn't f@ck around.

Oh boyyyyyyyyy..... If you haven't tried this one, you're missing out!! I LOVE powdery, musky and Ambery fragrances with some ambergris, myrrh and floral notes. The make it or break it deal for me is if a powdery fragrance smells like baby wipes, its a no go. So don't worry, here you have a complex and round fragrance that smells interesting - clean without being aldehydic, fresh without being citrusy, Ambery but ist not just winter appropriate.... As always Paolo terenzi created a masterpiece. With this fragrance I feel like a queen, a business lady - very confident, still elegant, and PUT TOGETHER. Just amazing!!

I'm intrigued to learn that Tiziana Terenzi Casanova has an inbuilt lighting system when you open the box, ideally in low light or dark room! Being an Oriental woody cologne has me even more intrigued! Its price is steep! But what option do I have other than to try this? Would be getting this! UPDATE: I eventually bought this lovely fragrance (after getting Chimaera 2018 Anniversary Edition) and I've been enjoying it. Not a well performing one. I can't understand how people vote this as eternal and projection beast. 4 hours of longevity, 1.5 hours of projection. On clothes lingers a bit longer but still too weak. Even I as the wearer am having hard time to catch whiffs. I like the scent profile alot but this is mute mate. Bergamot,fig, orchid-jasmine ambergris combination is really promising for me as an Mediterranean guy. I wish some clone houses like Alexandria or Dua could come up with a lot stronger dupe of this
