Gold Rose Oudh

My FIRST FULL BOTTLE of this extrait perfume arrived and I am in love! Standing out from the many other rose oudh perfumes currently on the market, Gold Rose Oudh is wearable and a beautiful entree for anyone wanting to try a floral-rose-oudh perfume. The initial notes of this perfume are intense chypre with spicy, almost harsh balsam, evergreen, moss, IMHO. I detect bergamot, fir-tree, moss, evergreen & earthy notes that eventually recede but remain throughout the entire application. Within 3-5 minutes, the opening morphs into mid-notes that land HARD. After the initial application, I definitely smell strong notes of oudh, Bulgarian rose, earth, patchouli, moss, woody resins, HONEY & AMBER & DIRT. At times, the middle practically smells fecal & cloying. At times, the mid-notes are DIFFICULT to take, smelling like a sour & moldy, messy mixture. Stay with the fragrance because the dry-down is where the true magic begins. Becoming perfectly balanced, the dry-down and base notes of this fragrance are lovely. Pulling off what (at times) seems like an impossibility, the entire fragrance DOES settle down into a perfectly balanced mixture of chypre, honey-amber, faint rose, oudh, other woods & musk. Woodsy, musk-y, earthy, creamy, resinous & rich, I also detect some powdery notes during dry-down. I must say the subtly added honey-amber notes, as well as the perfect addition of musk contribute to the balance, warmth and well-rounded, almost creamy ethereal nature of this fragrance. Leaning towards the feminine side, I cannot imagine this perfume on a guy. Initially uncertain, I am thrilled I purchased a full bottle for under $200! If you love oudh & rose fragrances, please give this fragrance time! I am so glad I did! A lighter, somewhat simpler, and more affordable alternative to Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady (which I love but $$$), as well as By Killian Rose Oud ($$$), this fragrance drew me in and I'm glad it did! Gold Rose Oudh DOES have a lot going on but the dry-down is lovely! I thought for my tastes, I preferred a rose-oud fragrance to be complex but (perhaps) a bit more straight-forward, simplistic and linear in the end than TT Gold Rose Oudh. But I am loving this fragrance a lot!

I bought this last year and wore it and never thought much about it but this autumn I have started wearing it again and I feel all these different notes and nuances. I get a good blast of lime, rose, patchouli, sandalwood, honey, pepper, fir, musk, most notes listed if not all. At first I thought it gave off a slight bleach-like effect in the background but I actually know what it is now with reading about sandalwood and people saying a pickle kind of a note. In the mid phases which is also mostly the base, I get mainly a patchy, velvety rose which is in the background with pepper and fir at the front. There is musk and lime all the way through although that slight bleachy effect I was talking about could be the lime (rind) providing some very faint bitterness. The composition may have similarities with the aforementioned fragrances but it does get one over them in the sense that the materials used hold very well from start to finish and at no point it feels like an average fragrance. I don't really judge performance on skin or clothes anymore but if I can smell it on myself when I breathe in or shuffle around then it makes more sense to me. I can smell it for roughly 5-6 hours whilst wearing it with it still being present on my clothes if I smell closer. If I pass by my hanging clothes or smell them the following day then I can still smell it and it makes me appreciate it more. It is an extrait so it would not jump out at you or anyone but can be perceived in close proximity. It's becoming an almost signature based on the times I have worn it over the last few weeks. So yeah, I think I love this one and maybe someone will fall in love with you when they smell this on you ;-)

My favorite Rose Oud fragrance - full bottle worthy for sure. The nose opens with heavy jammy rose and oud. This isn't really an animalistic or funk-forward oud but more of a musky wooy profile. This juice is intense, and projects pretty loudly for me for about a straight hour or so before it begins its very beautiful dry down. I get about 12 hours of total performance, with the last hour or so being more of a skin scent but again a beautiful one that holds body and not just a hint of what used to be. The value of this bottle even at full retail, is wild. My favorite "light" oud up until experiencing this was Roja Aoud, which I still love but this is better. As a comparison, Roja's interpretation is quite a bit more toned down and rests in a fairly powdery profile once it dries down, and never gets too loud. It also costs over $700 USD compared to Gold Rose Oudh which comes in just shy of $300. While I think this could be worn by anyone, I find it skews more masculine and definitely not a great choice for a humid balmy summer day. But really all other seasons you could pull this off, just a lighter application during the hotter parts of the year. Not blind-buy safe but a stunner none the less. Update: After wearing this for a few months, I’m enjoying it much less. It is quite a bit more powdery and dry then I first appreciated and lacks the depth of many oud-forward fragrances. Still lovely but I don’t rush to spray this so much having grown familiar to it.

I agree with another reviewer below that the rose here is similar to the rose in Portrait of a Lady and in Porpora. And what I get from Gold Rose Oudh for the majority of it's lifetime on my skin is mostly that rose with some patchouli to support it. I feel the oud mostly in the medicinal opening. You must like rose, otherwise don't bother with this. On my skin the medicinal opening lasts for about 15 minutes and then the rose starts to take over. This fragrance is loud and long lived for me. I put two sprays on the back of my hand, went to sleep, walked the dog, ate brunch, and the scent is still powering on 12 hours after spraying. The oil sheen after spraying on skin is very apparent; I usually only spray fragrances on skin, but I definitely wouldn't spray something this oily on my clothes unless it was old raggedy ones reserved only for doing yardwork or house improvement work. At the current price from discounters (100 ml for $110 to $150) if one likes the scent, this is a crazy good deal. Even at the $220 retail price, I think it's reasonable especially in comparison to some other fragrances that cost the same or more, like for example some Tom Ford 50 ml private blends.

Gold Rose Oudh shares the Rose Patchouli and Oudh DNA of Montales' Black Aoud. Where it differs and kind of goes to the next level is with the addition of the Honey, sandalwood and pepper notes. Makes it a much richer composition, more well rounded and balanced as well. Paolo Terenzi has done a fabulous job. I had Black aoud and when I sniffed this, I sold My Montale and picked up a full bottle of this little gem. Projection is good but not the nuclear fallout of Black Aoud. Longevity likewise is about 8-10 hours instead of the 24 hours of the Vintage Montale. Cost wise, atleast here in India, they are similar. Black Aoud retails for about 7000 rupees/110$ but you get testers for as low as 3000/45$. TT Gold rose oudh likewise retails about 9000/140$ but official Testers are available for about 4500/70$. So if you are going purely by most bang for your buck, take the Black Aoud but if you want the overall better frag, Gold Rose Oudh is it. Its like the difference between Coach and First Class. They both get you to your destination but the experience is very different. 9/10

Smelling this took me back to certain parts of the old city of damascus (before the war). People there were overly proud of the floral scents that infuse the streets (due to the wild uncontrolled growth of jasmine). While I hate conveying something others won't be able to recognize, this was the case with this scent. I don't detect jasmine here mind you. This opens with sensual roses. This note stays dominant till the scent fades away. The honey does intensify those roses while patchouli/oud are there only to push them roses further and further. You could smell the supporting cast, but only if you are sniffing rather than smelling. Performance is awesome, projection is elegant. The scent is sensual. For me, this is a fine example showing how a scent could be unisex. Get this if you're looking for an awesome rose scent that is both sensual and elegant. Don't get it if you're looking for an oud scent. Although they don't smel exactly the same, but this comes from the same valley where the roses of Amouage lyric man once blossomed.

This was an instant electric shock in my entire body when I first smelled it. I couldn’t get it out of my head like when you first fall in love. I had to keep going to try it again and again until I had to buy it and I can’t stop wearing it. Even if I try and wear other things in my collection, I can’t help it and this is what I always end up deciding to wear, day after day. Everyone around me loves it even people who don’t typically like rose or oud. It has an incredible balance between the depth of the rose and the oud, with all the other notes that makes it less heavy than the other rose/oud combos, very unique, completely versatile: perfect for wearing in the summer as well as the winter. It might be a little bit of a night scent more than a day scent because of its elegance and darkness, but I still wear it during the day cuz it’s just too good not to It’s complex: very deep, but also fresh, mysterious and a little sexual, but very elegant and refined. Seduction in a bottle. It’s a masterpiece.

I have been a recently neewby to the fragrance world, trying to explore all the notes that I love and suit my skin. I never knew I was a rose lover till I was introduced to this beauty! Love at first snif! We are talking about a delicious, senses- awakening, deeply decadent rose that opens up in an explosion of turkish sweet delight rose that is simply mouth-watering. I would even describe this as a sensual experience. Very intense opening of a delicious lover you haven't seen after intense love making! Then he simply grabs you and makes you remember what the buzz was all about! He leaves with you still on the bed smelling him on your skin and on the sheets. That's what high quality oud and intense rose is to me. I love it , it's so intense but all other things aside it comes down to whether you like a heavy rose with oud or not. Very risky blind buy!

GRO Hair Mist Reviewed. I picked this up for under$20. Terenzi on the secondary markets are a steal. The lasting power is over 6 hrs and nuclear first applied so Im a bit scared what the extrait would do. The rose-oud-patchouli genre is now over 10 yrs old and the idea feels a little played out. Ill be using this as more of a layering piece. In the genre, Roja Aoud reigns supreme classic. It feels classic and wearable today. Here, GRO feels a bit passe, something weve seen before..its opening will floor you until it settles down into its jammy rose heart. I kept thinking this needed a lot more amber to firmly anchor it into the oriental genre. As it is the heavy patchouli leans it more chypre like a spicy relative from Noir de Noir or Poal but not reaching the same refinement. Its definately a top 20 rose/oud, just be prepared for it to be rustic.

Was it really 2015 when I first purchased and reviewed this fragrance? So, after repurchasing some of my beloved fragrances and being EXTREMELY disappointed with Frederic Malle "Portrait of a Lady"...a fragrance I once adored...I decided to retry Tiziana Terenzi "Gold Rose Oudh." Wow! Now THIS is what I reminisce about when I think of Portrait of a Lady. Without completely rewriting my initial 2015 review, I can only state that to my nose, Gold Rose Oudh is exceptionally beautiful. The combination of deep jammy rose, bright black pepper, earthy patchouli and sweet oud is intoxicating. The blending is seamless perfection. A bit of honeyed amber and sandalwood give the fragrance a creamy, smooth base. Silage is perfect and longevity is forever. Absolutely adore it! May have to repurchase a full bottle after all these years. A decade!

It's the bergamot at the top and the honey at the end that saves this for me, turning it into something way more complex and interesting that your average rose oud or average oud, period. In the middle, a gorgeous rose blended so perfectly with oud that the two seem to almost melt into each other rather than duke it out for olfactory supremacy. While it's not an easy wear—if by easy you mean discreet and inoffensive, because even one small judicious squirt of it will perfume you and the air around you in a 100-mile radius for hours—it IS absolutely gorgeous. So if people in your vicinity are opened minded enough to calm down and stop being perormatively reactive, they'll discover that the world becomes more interesting, more vital and alive, when accompanied by this scent.

I'm a big Rose/Oud lover and this is a good one. I love the addition of fir. We don't see enough fir tree being used in perfumes. It give a good Christmas vibe to this perfume. The rose here is jammy damask rose full bloom and sweet. The honey here is a nice touch, not to sweet. Unisex. I like the sand note here, it give a bit of "texture" to a fragrance that could have been to sweet. That fir tree in the beginning stays around and gives a wonderful breath of fresh mountain air quality to the fragrance. I would wear this getting our Christmas tree for the holiday season. Beautiful fragrance for those who can't get enough of the rose/oud combo. Honey, fir and sand give this genre a new look if you will.

Gold Rose Oudh is high quality. The rose is vivid. It's jammy and big. I wanted a rose fragrance and was concerned it wasn't going to be rosy enough. But wow. For only having rose in the mid this is huge. The patchouli and oud bring a woody caky warmth. The oud isn't funky at all. Smells like high quality ingredients. I was concerned the pepper was going to be to much because I have realized I have adverse reactions to it, but this is masterfully blended and the pepper isn't heavy handed. If you like rose you can't go wrong with Gold Rose Oudh. I'm very pleased to own this fragrance. Great projection too. This drew a compliment the first time in the company of a young woman.

Such a delicious candy rose oud that starts off so shiningly bright and limey before transitioning into this jammy rose and patchouli concoction. This rose is so high in quality as it is dark and supple; it presents so much luxury in each sniff. The juice in itself emits this soft, powdery musk that completely encapsulates each note into one story . . . all while simultaneously being backhanded by a lightly sweet honey drizzle. Every detail of this is so clean and refined, it evokes that laundry day/fresh shower vibe without being too much of a soap bomb. What a beautiful creation this truly is!

@Eurochic Your descriptions sound like you got more than just rose! It's common to have other notes surrounding a theme and simply supporting the main note even if it's not a soliflore. In this case, "animalic" and "sour" is not how you typically describe rose, so that's probably oud and fir at work; the darkness and "potpourri" could be patchouli, and if at any point the rose smelled jammy, honey probably helped :) To me this is on the same boat as Portrait of a Lady--a somewhat oriental rose accentuated by patchouli and incense (replaced by oud in this case).

This is a rich, luxurious rose-oud fragrance which stands out from the vast sea of similar scents due to its freshness. While it performs like a beast and definitely has the depth of a quality rose-oud perfume, it has an airiness which makes it a little more wearable and up-lifting. It is this aspect of the fragrance which I have come to appreciate most. Would I repurchase it? Probably not - would rather try other TT perfumes. But I will enjoy my bottle until it's gone (which will be a long time as you only need one spray of the juice per wearing).

Reviewing this perfume it is an ok scent that has nothing special or new about it but it adds a almost natural undeniable sensuality. As if it's your own scent when waking up, slightly sweet, slightly warm and fresh at the same time, slightly oudy as when your lover starts to sweat a bit and because you love them so much you love their own scent... that's how I would describe this perfume, intimate a sensual Would I recommend this perfume? Absolutely, who doesn't want a beautiful soft intimacy while waking up next to the love of their life!?

In a vast sea of rose-oud fragrances, this might not stand out...I agree. However, that honey in the dry down makes me go crazy over this scent. To me, this is mainly a rose-patchouli scent topped with oud-honey. On my skin, it's not too sweet nor too bitter/herbal. I see listed two of my absolute favourites and one wishlist-perfume in the "Reminds me of" section, so no wonder why I'm so drawn to this. I'm not ready to pay the full price as I have many other fragrances on my wishlist, but I will most definitely hunt for a second-hand bottle.

Big Love for this fragrance. An upgraded and better quality Montale Black Aoud. Its so middle-eastern and luxurious. Reminds me on the " rosey non burnt yet" incense sticks that we used to use at my home, So lovely. Rose is the most prominent note here and it is sweet. You can't be casual with such a scent, you have to be a bit well put together to pull it off but it's a head turner. Longevity is excellent and projection is heavy . Will be getting a full bottle soon for sure.

In the beginning I wasn't too sure. I love rose, but oud on it's own is not my thing. Then again, together... it's a wow for me. I've tried several bottles combining oud and rose and they are winners to me. It took about 1/4 hour when I knew I would love this scent. Suddenly the rich rose came out. And what's more... I could still smell it the day after. I think in total it lasted for a full day. Great! I've just ordered a bottle.

Very sharp Metallic Opened which is very Strong but after awhile Its turn to be bold and spicy rose with patchouli and medicine Oud in the background I really love this one for the great amount of contrast between sharpness and rose with great projection that last. to me this just like smell of roses that blooming in a Desert. you have to really love rose that done in powerful way so you will really enjoy wearing this one.

Adore! (female here); cuddling with luxurious shameless burgundy rose, surrendered to oud. Men can wear it, perhaps the confident, unconventional, and elegant type, but... IMO this is a Goddess' perfume; it's a 3D for me; with just one spray, I transcend into a world of my own, and I'm too above, in the clouds of Olympus, to care who thinks what about this elixir. Is there such a thing as a selfish fragrance?...

Masterpiece for night time wear, especially clubs and bars. However you will mostly get male attention. Thick dark tarry oud, honey, jammy rose and patchouli. I wore 7 sprays of this from a decant, which is a tiny amount cause decants don't spray much and apparently people could smell me from 30 feet away in an outdoor bar seating area. Got 3 compliments in that night for it, one was from a pakistani guy.

Wow this is something that HAS to be tried on the skin.. When I first sprayed it on paper, it was extremely sweet and generic so I quickly dismissed it. But after reading Colin Maillard's review, I gave it another try (as he's not one to praise rose-oud easily); the sweetness faded quickly and the depth suddenly appears! It's still very much rose-centric with little oud, but what a nice sultry rose!

My first thought when I sniffed it on my arm was that it smelled a bit like Byredo Rose Noir. I would say that it smells and projects better than Rose Noir. If you are a rose-oud-combo lover, maybe you should look somewhere else cuz here you cannot find too much Oud if any. But if you enjoy dark smoky roses then this might be something for you. Scent: 8.5/10 Projection: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10

What’s not to love? The packaging is beautiful, the bottle is heavy and opulent, the fragrance performs well and is indeed a rose oud which is what it promises. This comes as Extrait de Parfum and it delivers in spades. If you love an Arabian style syrupy rose and can find this at a good price, it’s a steal.

Very juicy and jammy rose + oud combo backed by herbal sweetness . The oud is a bit danker than more popular rose/oud fragrances, but it's still very wearable. This stuff is very loud stuff, be careful on the trigger.

So much rose, rose, rose, potent rose. The oud is present but barely there. It is truly beautiful but it needs more OUD. I doubt if I would repurchase. If you are a lover of rose flowers, then this is for you

What a Fantastic Complex Fragrance made of rose, oud and several other top quality notes with superb longevity. I absolutely recommend a try and if you like it, get the pretty golden bottle. Thumbs up!

If you like portrait of a lady you'll like this one, bare in mind POAL is wayyyyy better and darker which I'm saving for a special occasion and this one as an every day scent. Beautiful

"Grazie Paolo Terenzi!!" As a lover of rose, I currently own over ten niche rose fragrances in my collection. Gold Rose Oudh has genuinely left a positive impression on me that I have to rank it up there with Sospiro Duetto and Christian Dior Oud Ispahan, but for different reasons. Rose Oudh Gold may come off as a typical rose oud combo, but offers a lot more than the likes of Montale Starry Nights, Portrait of Lady of FM, Montale Black Aoud, By Kilian Rose Oud, etc. It has the same DNA as Montale Black Aoud, but I had to get rid of the Black Aoud as soon as I purchased the Gold Rose Oudh. The opening is somewhat similar, but they depart shortly after they are applied. Rose Gold Oudh is less airy, more authentic, and more refined. The best way to compare the two is like comparing an S-Class Benz with Hyundai Genesis. Genesis is a great car by itself. An inexperienced car enthusiast may put them in the same category, but the flaws of the Genesis are easily exposed in front of an experienced car enthusiast. Rose and oud are always in the background, but in a sensual and attractive manner. Woods, spices, amber, musk, and honey dance in different layers to add charisma and personality. This fragrance has such a large personality that never ceases to bore or disappoint from start to finish. Gold Rose Oudh is extremely crisp, fresh, and high contrast. Perhaps it explains the word "Gold" in the name of the fragrance. The longevity and silage are monster. I can smell it in my car for a few days after I wear it. It stays on my jacket for so long that I don't even remember when it was applied. I don't wear fragrances to receive compliments, but I appreciate compliments nonetheless. I have been harassed by colleagues and total strangers with compliments. It is to the point that I am sometimes asked to wear Gold Rose Oudh when I have meetings with certain colleagues. Money for money, Gold Rose Oudh is a better choice than Sospiro Duetto. There is no question there, but Duetto is more romantic, less rugged, and more mysterious. I would still rank Christian Dior Oud Ispahan as the king of the rose oud fragrances because it is such a departure from any rose oud combo. Paolo Terenzi never disappoints, and Gold Rose Oud isn't an exception either. If you are a rose fragrance lover, you MUST get your nose on it. Top notch fragrance by the awesome Paolo Terenzi. 10/10.

This fragrance is a beast! I am currently trying Gold Rose Oud by TT from a 2 ml sample and I am blown away by how strong and radiant this scent actually is! Not scent wise, but performance wise it reminds me of my beloved Atomic Rose, which is (still) one of my most favourite/strong rose forward perfumes. Gold Rose Oud has an astounding amount of rose, woods, honey and patchouli and feels warm and inviting. It might not be what I want to wear in 2026, but I can’t deny how beautiful it feels and how radiant is in the air... It’s a spectacular example of a fragrance that features the super popular trend of oudy/rosy fragrances that was so prevalent during the last decades in perfumery, outside the Arabic culture, where it seems that it was common for the longest time. But this is a peculiar scent! I can see it being super polarising in 2026 because the rose/oud hype has died down and because it’s super rosy and it can get overwhelming because it’s so rich and so sweet. You must love mature rose scents in order to like this! And a sweet, deep, dark, honeyed, jammy rose. There’s nothing youthful or delicate about the rose in Gold Rose Oud... Plus intense oud and woods, otherwise stay away. Gender wise, it’s more of a feminine perfume, because how intensely floral and sweet it is, but I think some men would like Gold Rose Oud as well! Performance is nuclear and if purchased from online discount websites, it can be found for a steal nowadays. I wouldn’t personally buy it because it’s not my style, but for those loving this scent profile, it’s an amazing one! Love it or hate it, Tiziana Terenzi has some wonderful perfumes. Wish more acclaimed brands in the current market would create perfumes with this kind of astonishing performance.

A nice rose oud. Rose ouds are one of my favorite profiles so this was an obvious pick when I was choosing Tiziana decants. Gold Rose Oudh opens with a bright and green rose, a bit sharp and with a nice oud accord supporting it. It takes 2-3 hours before this green sharpness subsides and lets the honey come out, and I like the honey note here because it's not extremely sweet or syrupy like it tends to be in a lot of fragrances and it's blended really well with the bright rose. This doesn't reinvent the wheel when it comes to rose ouds but it's a nice take on the profile and especially for the price, I've seen bottles of this as low as $85 on discounters. Performance is good, longevity is the only aspect I found lacking, especially considering the vast majority of votes are in the "long lasting" and "eternal" options. This barely reached 6 hours on my skin doing two sprays off my decant, which was the same as I did with Laudano Nero yesterday and that reached 8+ hours easily. I wonder if it might be nose blindness from wearing that yesterday but I doubt it. Projection and sillage are both great so they make up for the "poor" longevity. Strong projection with a moderate to dense sillage, I could smell myself really well for a few hours this morning.

You must love roses to like this scent. Overwhelming roses! Thick and strong deep red roses with some other notes just to support the beautiful rose note. It screams quality IMO. Totally unisex but on a female it can be quite seductive IMO. Dominant notes are Rose, a little oud, patchouli, mild honey, spices. It leaves an oily layer on the skin and smells better from a distance. The longevity is very very good and the projection is good moderate. Suitable for cold weather only. I get the similarity with Black Aoud by Montale but.. let's be honest.. there's only 20%-25% similarity. This is pure quality without the nasty Montale medicinal oud and the cheap rose essence. For the dark goth rose lovers.. If you care about oud, stay away from it. If Lyric is the fresh, green rose, this is the opposite. The dark, goth rose.. lol! Mr. Dracula's scent or if you prefer the perfect dark rose fragrance for a dangerous lady..

I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy a strong rose oud aroma surprisingly I was. The rose note in this juice has a very deep warm base. Oud is very subtle but it's enough to support the main note. I barley piick up any honey, but there's a hint of spicy/herbal patchouli which calms the rose aroma. After awhile there's an increased woods base with the rose note it has a warm long lasting aroma. Longevity and Silage is excellent lasting over 8hrs Finally thoughts, If I could change anything it would be the OUD note, I would make it more prominent and make the rose note more subtle. The rose note does eventually settle down which makes this juice ABOUSOTLEY TOPS in the Oud's fragrance at a fraction of the price. This is a real attractive affordable first class EDP.... 8.5/10

Desert Rose. That would have been an appropriate name for this. It smells like something from One Thousand and One Nights. Gold Rose Oudh (GRO) is a rose fragrance first, with a strong oud-woody support. Dusty rose, woody oud, animalic honey, grassy patchouli, and dash of spiciness. Rosey, animalic, woody, Oriental. An Arabian groom's wedding fragrance. This is an excellent niche creation from TT. Very Arabic & formal. However, the animalic accord can be a turn off to some, hence, not blind buy-safe. A mature, formal, cool weather wear. Leans masculine. Excellent performance like the rest of TT's creation. Big "Like"!

I waited before blind buying. But once I got the tester I realized how great this is. Very similar in oudiness to Oud Silk Mood which I adore though I thought it was light on oud at first. Now I think it’s just a style of composition, to have the oudy saltiness grounding the rose (in both perfumes), and in this case patchouli too. I love how the patchouli is not too recognizable here though- it truly rounds out the scent. So I ordered one from Fragrancenet, yay! On the installment plan lol,

There's something about this TT piece which makes me describe as a "gift that keeps on giving". I'm not a fan of rose fragrances, nor of oud ones, but this just caught my attention and, surprisingly, in a good way. Not exactly sure if this fits me or if I like it enough to add it to my collection, but what I'll definitely do is spray it from time to time when I'm in a store that has it. Definitely sharp and long-lasting, and NOT a safe blind buy.

Decent take on rose oud. This is a well blended rose, wood/oud/floral, patchouli, spice and bergamot synthesis. After the opening, Gold Rose Oudh assumes a slight makeup overtone. It’s the rose note settling. Gets a little green too. 🥴 The makeup essence isn’t nearly as intense as with other Terenzi fragrances. In fact, here it’s comparably subtle. Overall, an okay frag. Leans femme. A little bit overpriced. Gets skanky in the heat.

Very nice, but i'll pass. The rose here is jammy rose similar to the one found in ByKilian's Rose Oud, and the oud is of the band-aid type similar to the one found in Black Aoud. In general I think this work better on women. Update. It dries down to a peppery musk, very enjoyable at this stage, but that is after 5 hours (this thing is a beast). I still think this is better suited for women although now it has garnered my respect.

A strong forward Rose & Oud fragrance. I get a great longevity from this (over +8hrs). To me this lingers more to the masculine side. To the dry down it’s more greener/spicy with a soften oud. Might not be the most natural smelling aroma but it’s good for the pour pose of smelling good.

Anyone noticed the similarity between this and Armani Rose d'Arabie? I have both and they smell really similar, But this one is way more powerful than Rose d'Arabie.

Wow, this scent is very potent. I sprayed my wrist and showered after and still can smell this! If you are looking for something with this scent profile, get this.

Sweet, jammy, musky and sandalwood type of rose-oud combo. Dry down is very sweet and musky. Above average performance. Will get you noticed. Shukran Habibi!

Wore it again today on a lazy Sunday. I was surprised by the honey which i did not notice before.

Gold Rose Oud....emphasis on the rose and oud. When first spraying a blast of bergamot and small amount of fig. Then the rose starts to take over with patchouli right behind it and pepper hinting. After that is said and done dry down is sharpened due to oud balance. I love TT, but if you are not a huge oud and rose fan, this is not for you. Mancera's roses greedy for me sits better as it has lots of fruits in the opening and dry down doesn't have as much sharpness with the rose still shinning. Don't get me wrong dry down is still nice and powdery, I'm 12 hours in now and projection and silliage is still going strong. Nevertheless, this takes a particular type of fragrance lover, its not a bandwagon crowd pleaser type of a rose scent. To me this is not a safe blind buy due to the sharpness and distinct oudness. You may or may not like it. My suggestion is to get a sample, spray it on your skin, and experience it before purchasing. All the best!

This smells better than montale black aoud which smells like a tire factory. Reminds me of MFK Oud Silk Mood. There's supposed to be interesting notes like sand but I don't get that. I think Paulo Terrenzi just threw that in to try and make people think this is avant-garde perfumery. It smells fine, and like I said it's in the realm of MFK, Bond New York ork oud, montale, etc. But this type of fragrance has been done a thousand times.
