Hale Bopp

This is one of the richest, mysterious and charming fragrances I have ever tried. The opening is persuasive and irreverent thanks to the spices - nutmeg and cinnamon with a pinch of bitter lemon. The heart consists of African geranium combined with Tuscan sage and supported by the Indian red patchouli and Tahitian vanilla which all together make a rich heart. The gentle strength of the sandalwood and musk, combined with the precious ambergris from the famous Terenzi library, and emphasized by musk and laudanum, guarantees a trail of extraordinary duration. Hale Bop is a beautiful creation that wraps around you like a warm cashmere scarf, giving to those who know how to wear it with style, an irresistible and impressive charm.

Man, is this awesome! It's so unique. I've never smelled anything even close to this. It's a scent where it seems like there are multiple notes playing at once. Which means that you get some aspects of many different notes. With lots of fragrances, you're like "I like it generally, but there's this note of XYZ that I'm not a fan of." With HB, I love every single note in this. This is one of the most individual and special fragrances I have ever tried. I LOVE this one. It may be my signature scent, if only it were a little lighter on the budget. LOL. This is so good, let's keep this to ourselves :)

This has a very good longevity and silage and is really worth the money... you can thank me later 😉

I got a sample of Hale Bopp and Halley. I gravitated towards HB due to it not being a fruity floral perfume. May be the only one in my collection that isn’t. I love it. It spicy, woody & moody! There’s a slight lemon scent in the opening that is quickly passing. I immediately jumped online and bought a full bottle. Will enjoy wearing it this fall.

I was a bit weary at the opening of this, but after a few minutes this has something quite addicting similar to Musc Ravageur. It's for sure that lemon-vanilla-cinnamon goodness, and I absolutely love that, but I have to say that for the outrageous TT price I would rather buy Musc Ravageur :(

This is a really nice woody vanilla. I love vanilla in fragrances and this one is really nice, I don’t really pick up any of the other notes except for the nutmeg and citrus in the opening but the opening doesn’t last longer than five minutes

Unbelievably good and strong amber based fragrance. Paolo Terenzi nailed it with this one. Comparing this with Montale Blue Amber is just an insult) I just paid 140$ for a tester bottle. My score: 9/10

I got a sample of Hale Bopp and this is probably one of my favorites perfumes from this house. It's so woody, spicy with some amber and vanilla. The vanilla is just the best part of it. SO GOOD!

Absolutely beautiful opulent mix of Shalimar, Ambre Sultan and Ani. The quality is unbelievable but the RRP is hard to swallow. If you can find it for £200 or less then don’t think twice.

Powdery vanilla dominant Oriental that is unlikely to offend anyone. The perfume opens with aromatic notes of lemon, nutmeg and cinnamon. It transitions to a heart of patchouli and vanilla with hints of sage and geranium flower. The perfume settles into a powdery amber base with hints of synthetic musk, labdanum and sandalwood. Overall nice but unexceptional unisex scent with moderate to strong projection and very good longevity. Like a more extravagant version of Nishane’s Ani. Enjoy!

this smells exactly like Ambre Precieux (powdery herbal sweet amber) meeting halfway with Clandestine Clara (boozy patchouli cinnamon vanilla), and it’s super high quality ....thats gonna be a yes from me dog!!!!

Smells just like a crystal new-age shop, like incense and sandalwood oil. Lovely but not particularly unique.

On me Hale Bopp is predominantly amber fragrance. I have Noor from Royal Crown and find them quite different. Noor is more sweet, more golden, more glowing, it feels like watching warm sunset in the south of France. Hale Bopp is very ambery fragrance with distinct labdanum (these are the two notes that come out the most on my very cool skin). The amber here is dense and sick and resinous. To me Hale Bopp is more similar to Serge Lutans Ambre Sultan, but without the herbal notes (which I really dislike in that perfume). Overall I find Hale Bopp to be a rather standard amber fragrance for cooler wether. To me it is nothing special.

This brings back memories of Emeraude by Coty. As a teen, somehow a bottle got in the house and my dad announced that is was horrid and way too sweet. Then, soon afterwards, my friend regifted me a bottle for Christmas, which went into the trash. Yes, Dad was right. And this is much too sweet for my taste. I can't put my finger on the most prominent note, which is too bad because I could just steer clear of all fragrances with this same note. Not for me but I can see how others might like it.

There's some playing between the notes that gives off a synthetic smell; I believe it's the geranium that's more ozonic and less rosy. For me, this is very amber from the 90s but lacking the outrageousness outside of the sillage.

Super strong amber woody. Not a fan. I think this helped me figure out I don't like strong amber perfumes.

So, last week I got a sample of this woody spicy scent that I found to be more inclined towards the masculine side. Opening notes in this beauty are nutmeg, cinnamon and lemon while the heart is totally vanilla with hint of geranium, sage and patchouli. The dry down of this woody spicy one is labdanum, amber, musk and sandalwood. I expected it to be a floral one but this is spicy woody one with the warmth that could be used mostly in winters and fall. I simply love it. This is a moody woody scent with the spiciness and a citrusy punch that passes off quickly. I ordered it as soon as I tried and tested it. I am sure to wear this fall and winter. For me, this is one of the best editions from the house of Terenzi that is blended wonderfully in spicy, woody, fresh, somewhat sweet scent which is super seductive, dark and mysterious. I found this as a complex perfume with few notes but that keeps on emerging in varying way making it so so soooo fantastic. Truly an absolute beauty for all the seasons. I got many compliments while wearing it. Packaging is classy and super luxurious. Pure love!

Most beautiful, charming and fantastic piece from the house of Tiziana Terenzi. This is a vanilla dominating scent which is powdery and has top notes of lemon, cinnamon and nutmeg which then moves to the heart made up of vanilla and patchouli with some of geranium flower and sage. Dry down or base is powdery amber with the labdanum, musk and sandalwood. This is stunning unisex scent that is nice, projects strong and imparts long-lasting longevity. To me, this smells somewhat like Ambre Precieux or Clandestine Clara. This one has better quality and performance however. This is exactly a wonderful blend of spicy, fresh, sweet and woody accords that are well mixed and smooth, seductive scent. This perfume fits all seasons and times of the year. I have received many compliments while wearing it. P.S.- Even the packaging is classy and luxurious. One of my favorite perfumes currently that I feel is bit inclined towards masculine and is a pure Italian elegant scent. Worth trying and surly worth buying. Go, grab it now and thank me later

Got a sample today and did not like at first sniff. Strong geranium smell which is off putting. Not getting warm amber yet or any citrus on the opening... but sometimes it takes me a few wears to start to like a scent. It’s potent so maybe I’m just not used to such strong scents. I will come back and if I change my mind I will update this post. After dry down I am starting to get a powdery warm vanilla scent.. I may end up liking this????? Update I do like it a lot better but now get the spicy opening and then a patchouli punch, then it warms up into the vanilla amber scent... kind of reminds me of Carmex lip balm with some spice added to it... with a bit of incense. I will not be buying a full bottle.

This is such a fresh, spicy, vanilla heaven. It opens up very fresh I guess it is because of the citrus it dries down into a creamy ambery vanilla, there are very small possibilities that someone isn’t going to like this fragrance. It leans a little bit more feminine but who cares it smells amazing, and performance is out of this world, this one lasts for good 10-12h and projects above average for 3-4h. It is a bitt pricy but you get for what you paid, it smells amazing, it’s rich it’s dense it’s potent it is very well blended, bottle&presentation looks super luxurious. For me this is a good 9/10

This a super strong beautiful scent which reminds me a lot of Coromandel from Chanel, its way more powerful though Very beautiful amber scent, if you have no problem with your nose being kicked, punched and slam dunked by amber then definitely get this. I have a sample and prefer Coromandel

Play dough. It smells like play dough. Maybe you'll smell this and think it's the most luxurious and mysterious smelling play dough you've ever smelled! But for me? I'm personally not a fan.. and I need to tell you that this is not a safe blind buy lol

To me this is a vanilla-musky dominant scent. Not very sweet vanilla with great depth coming from a musky and woody base of sandalwood (at least that's what I get) and a bit of amber nuances. Reminds me of Nishane's Ani. 8.5 / 10.

I don't think this is blind buy safe. I bling bought it and regret it. It smells like an old lady to me...i really abhor this fragrance.... time to hit the showers before i vomit.

Changed my mind since my last review. This is a classy smooth ambery vanilla with a bit of cinnamony spicy sandalwood undertone. I find it 90% similar to Dior's Mitzah. 8.75 / 10.
