Halley

Halley smells just like a Maui vacation, instantly transporting you to the lush tropical forests of Kana, the beach-front restaurants of Kaanapali where you can sip pina coladas whilst watching the sunset, the open-air markets of Hana awash in the mouth-watering aromas of ripe, juicy fruit. If I were to describe Halley in one word—it would be “mouthwatering”. The fragrance opens up with passion fruit and peach, set against the creamy, buttery backdrop that smells like a spiced vanilla custard. After half an hour, I get fresh and toasted coconut tempered by the tart tang of cassis, while the cream begins its transformation to a fluffy, white musk. The musk gets stronger on the dry down, reminding me of another favorite scent—Musk Therapy by Initio, minus the white florals. It gives the fragrance an intoxicating, hypnotic quality (I literally cannot stop smelling my arm) and creates a delicious, close-to-skin aura. If you expect a beast mode fragrance, this is not it—while Halley projects fairly well in the first hour or two, eventually it settles into a softer, more intimate scent with just enough sweetness to keep things interesting. Not a safe blind buy, in my opinion, but definitely a scent worth exploring. P.S. Recently I came across Febe by Giardino Benessere (another gorgeous Paola Terenzi line) and I have to say—it is a strikingly close scent profile to Halley at half its price.

In the opening of this fragrance it smells like Mancera Instant Crush and Cassiopeia had a baby. You get that burnt, caramelized sugar feel mixed with tropical fruits. Not overripe or underripe. Very nice, inviting and fresh. Passionfruit really makes it smell juicy and special. I got a good 2 hours of arm length or better projection and still smell a very juicy and sweet passionfruit 6 hours in. It starts to reel itself in around 2-3 hours with 2 sprays. If you sprayed several sprays it would be very cloying initially the same way Instant Crush is. So don’t get trigger happy right off the bat. I won’t invest a lot of money for a full bottle but I think it’s worthy for someone who would. This is a true Terenzi with the signature musks, so if you don’t mind that, you’ll love this. No I don’t find it similar to Erba Pura past the musk..

Ok I want to clarify something, I personally dislike fragrances like Kirke, Erba Pura, Andromeda, Accento Overdose so when I see a comparison to those it completely discouraged to try. All the fragrances that have that strong Ambroxan Musk sort of profile, that could choke you and lean masculine too. This one is not that. This is actually quite pretty and clean, and very subtle on that potent musk those I listed have. In here its very balanced and very tolerable. While others I listed at dry down become a scrubbers for me do to that potent musk that gets stronger, Helley is quite pleasant. Yes it is similar fruity profile with Erba Pura but minus that potent musk. I think it also smells pretty similar to Stricnina and may be a little of Cassiopea.

I'm sorry, but nothing says loving like wearing this to bed. It's so creamy and dream-like a definite love for me. Extremely well-blended notes. Everything just bleeds into each other in the most pleasant comforting way. TT knows how to work a fruity floral fragrance so the fruity notes don't overwhelm everything else there. I know some of his offerings have a kind of chemical opening; this one doesn't. It's worth the price tag. There are so many selections with his brand, that almost anyone can find something worthwhile.

This was a blind buy for me as most of my perfumes in my collection are. I like it a lot. It is not for a 20 year old, this has a sophisticated woman's DNA all over it. Not something to wear to work unless you are going to a board meeting where you need to show the men that you are on top of your game. I highly recommend this as a date night fancy ballroom dancing type of perfume.

this was a blind buy for me about 2 years ago and honestly, it was one of my best purchases. Longevity is eternal! IT stays on my clothes for days, got many compliments and most importantly my husband loved it. What I loved the most about it is the citrus at the opening, the peach and the musky vanilla together with the amber at the dry down which is heavenly good.

I swear, nothing else is needed beside this amazing blend of notes. How come I didn't know about this perfume earlier? Where have you been all my life?

Amazing scent, love it! ❤️ It opens with a intense fruity and cassis notes, so at first I thought that it will be not my cup of tea. But later.... it develops into soft, creamy, luxurious slightly fruity scent! And maybe in about an hour or more, I smelt wonderful and very elegant rose plus vanilla! Well done Paolo Terenzi!

Halley is a very special fragrance, when wearing it, it feels like you're on a vacation. It's so creamy, fruity, musky which is blended in a phenomenal way. I love wearing it as it makes me feel like I just came out of the shower, it's so clean and yummy. Love it! Really this is worth the money!!!

#1168 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I read a full review on this fragrance when it was first released in 2019 and remember thinking at the time I would like to try it, but didn't want to blind buy a $200 fragrance, especially since my experience with this fragrance house has been very mixed. I happened across a sample sprayette last week and ordered it. This is what I call a "kitchen sink scent", meaning note-wise they've thrown in everything but the kitchen sink. Something for everyone for sure. As described, it's very fruity and floral, barely unisex, not full blown feminine, but I'm sure it will have more female fans than male. I knew instantly I have smelled this before,. and as many of you have noted, it's almost indistinguishable from V Canto "Stricnina", another scent I bought in a sprayette because I was unsure how I'd feel about it. To me Stricnina does have a bit sweeter, almost candy-like quality, like a bag of mixed-fruit "Jelly Belly" jelly beans, and was definitely not for me, more something I'd expect on a young woman still in her teens. This scent doesn't go quite that far. These sorts of scents seem to be very polarizing. Tiziana Tirenze has a couple like this, "Velorum" and "Kirke", that I don't think are different enough that anyone should bother to own all three, but the ratings are wildly different, with Kirke getting brutalized with a 3.37 and Velorum getting a 4.20, and this scent with a 4.12. Maybe it's the more attractiive bottles? The cinnamon nuttiness of the Velorum? They're all sweeter, but same sort of vibe as I get from Xerjoff "Erba Pura", another polarizing scent, of which there are some good low cost clones like Maison Alhambra "Philos Pura", or similars like Gisada "Ambassador." Anyway, this scent isn't going to offend anyone in any setting. I would classify it more fruity and fun than sexy. For me, when you have every fruit in the aisle in a scent, it comes off more "Carmen Miranda" than "Caesar Romero" (you kids will have to look them up). So while this is likeable, it's not for me, but also not something I want to smell on a woman I'm dating. But, if having every note in the fragrance lab in a scent is your jam, you might check out the "Master Perfumer Collection" from UAE fragrance house Nabeel. Velorum fans might enjoy "Al Bashiq", "Al Bashiq Sama." They're both under $50, so not a huge blind buy risk. Good luck and good hunting!

Halley feels like the quieter, more effortless sibling of Stricnina. Where Stricnina is bold, feminine, and vibrant, Halley is smooth, airy, and completely at ease. The opening is a beautiful blend of passionfruit, cassis and fresh white musk. Nothing screams for attention - everything melts together into a soft, clean fruity-musky cloud. The musk is one of my favorite parts: crisp and refreshing without ever smelling like laundry detergent or soap. As it settles, the fragrance becomes even softer and closer to the skin. It has this relaxed, vacation-day feeling that makes it incredibly easy to wear. It's polished, high-quality, and beautifully blended, yet never loud. I really enjoyed wearing it, but somehow it never gave me that "I need this bottle" feeling. It's one of those fragrances you appreciate more than you crave. If your idea of luxury is quiet elegance rather than making a statement, Halley is absolutely worth discovering.

I really like Halley. I get luxury tropical vacation ~ early evening or night with this fragrance. The tropical notes jumps out on my skin immediately and I am drawn to sniffing myself... continuously. I feel exotic, sexy and deliciously coyishly when I am wearing this enticing delicious blend of fruits, flowers and wood. That amber... it is smooth, sexy and comforting at the same time. Now I will say that I am reminded of other Tiziana Terenzi fragrances in my collection due to the ingredients; however, Halley is a bit more sophisticated than those so I don't mind owning her. The sillage, projection and longevity is also great with Halley, after a bath I can still smell a bit of the lingering passion fruit and berries. This is a must for my collection.

It is a luxurious tropical paradise. Its creamy base gracefully transforms into a cloud of fluffy white musk with a delightful sweetness. I’m no expert but recieved Halley today and I’m smitten. It was expensive but worth every penny. I don’t have a lot in my collection of mainly niche fragrance—10-12 but I can easily say this is my favorite. Peach is my favorite note I love fruity smells although I have a few others. I don’t get anything exotic just delicious peach! And I love a great performer.❤️

Wonderful warm fruits. Has the Tirenzi dna, but is not a repetitive scent if you already have several of his fragrances, as I do. Musky, yet a bright fragrance. Unisex if you like fruity fragrances - not too feminine. A fragrance for when you need a bright fruity pick-me-up. Not harsh or screechy - it has more depth and class then that.

This is fluffy fruity musk with power - like Erba Pura but not smelling exactly the same. It’s a mixed bag of notes - there’s one in there I don’t love. However, it performs well and lasts a good while so if you love it, it’ll stick around for you.

Niche fruity, amber musk. Leans femme. Lots of nuance but unfortunately deteriorates into a powdery makeup bomb... Seems to be a common theme with Tiziana frags. Dry-down reminds me of when Homer shot Marge in the face with a makeup shotgun.💥

Very easy going scent, not super original, but for sure pleasant. Fruity, sweet, on a little musky and green base.

302 I thought the variety of fruits with florals in this along with the cinnamon smells amazing and powerful. It does smell like fruit punch spiced candy in the best way. But then comes along that unscented baby wipe smell, not sure what that is, but I have smelled it in other brands in the dry-down commonly and don’t like it. Maybe it’s the musk(faintly play-dough like). The fruity spiced candy stays around much longer on fabric, but on skin goes to musk/play-dough/baby wipe smell much faster. I think it smells better on fabric too. Fortunately it doesn’t have that harsh wood note on dry-down that so many of these fruity type of scents by TT have. It does remind me a tiny bit of Cassiopeia(share passion fruit note), but it’s sweeter. 7/10-great opening-mid, hate dry-down

I have just tried this about an hour ago, and I am far from impressed. Maybe it needs to sit awhile but the silage is moderate at best and i know this in genuine. I have loved some of Tirenzi's creations, but this just doesn't deliver enough umph. It is a pleasant floral that can be worn in any setting; it is a spring/summer scent. I will have to set it aside for now and wait to see how it performs in a few months. I don't particularly love passionate fruit as a note. I do like the peach in this one. Most of the notes are noticeable but not strong. It's been voted a female scent because of its fruity flowery ingredients, but I think it is unisex. I would recommend sampling before purchasing a full bottle. I will update this in the Spring.

Literally, all of the previous comments have been favorable. I feel like Scrooge. This fragrance is too tangy and too obvious for me. This is something I may have worn twenty years ago. The citrus opening was too loud and tangy. It gets better as it develops but I like more subtle, mellow scents. To each, his own. Later - this didn't last on me. I got maybe three hours in 90 degree weather.

I'm glad I sampled this before looking at the notes or I would have been disappointed. This is a peachy, floral musk. Not much to it. Not offensive but it doesn't smell like it would have cost some big bucks, which it does. I wanted more passion fruit, roses and green notes. They are present, just in littler doses than I could have hoped for.

This is a juicy, bright, and soft tropical fragrance that doesn’t have coconut in it or smell like sunscreen. Hallelujah! The passion fruit in this is lovely and a little mouthwatering. This feels perfect for the summer especially going to the beach. The dry down reminds me of Flower bomb Ruby Orchid by Viktor&Rolf.

It can feel heavy rather than elegant, and the sweetness + oud combo isn’t always balanced, so it might hit you more like cluttered chaos than refined depth. Also, the longevity is insane... but not always in a good way sometimes it lingers in a way that feels overwhelming instead of comforting 🫠

First impression: high end women's shampoo. I've smelled at least 2 others from the house that have this same vibe.

When I smelled this perfume, I detected some notes that I didn't see on fragrantica. (hibiscus for example). So I went to see Tiziana Terenzi's website and here are the real notes: Top notes:Passion fruit, Lemon, Black Currant and Bulgarian Rose Heart Notes: Iris, Hyacinth, Tuberose, Petitgrain, Hibiscus, Peach, Cinnamon and Raspberry Base Notes: Vanilla, Laos Oud, Cedar Wood, Musk, Amber and Musk At first its a burst of passion fruits and peach. But the floral notes came and make a beautiful, green scent. I think the green notes bring a mint leaf scent. I definitly smell the passion fruits, Black currant, hibiscus (++), hyacinth and green notes. Its a little bit powdery. This scent is hard to describe. A fruity, aromatic and green scent with some spices and a woody base. I detect cinamon in the opening but it dosn't ladt.

Also here to say it is peach dominant. Dries down kind of gross like a weird peach/raspberry/baby powder mix. I guess I'm not a big fan of this house as this is my 10th sample and nothing has really wowed me from them.

I absolutely love peach. So I was incredibly excited when I reveived a sample of this with a purchase from Neiman's. Unfortunately, it was head-ache-inducing-awful for me. The fruit forward was just WAY too much for me, and this comes from a person who generally has a "it's never enough" problem. Saccarine start. The fruit just smells fake. After an hour, it calmed down, and the base of a fruity, cinnamony musk was quite nice, and grew on me, hence the overall neutral review. One of the kiddos complimented the fragrance, and she has a good nose (despite her 9 years ;-), so that trends positive overall as well. But I can't get over the initial dislike, notwithstanding wanting to like it in the first place. A second try the next day resulted in the same experience.

I love this. Ive owned it for a couple years. Its just sooo yummy. The same way sucking on a jolly rancher (hard tart candies) is yummy. Fruity in the extreme, fluffy, with depth. Ive never picked up even the slightest hint of cinnamon but my niece smelled it on me one day and immediately said “oh cinnamon!” So strange. I dont wear it as often as i wish, mostly, because i am unsure how well it projects (too much? Or too little? I cant tell because it smacks me in the face at first, but then seems to die down to nothing)) and i am unsure of the dry-down. I am unsure what others are smelling on me, and that bothers me. Like other perfumes by this maker, it uses that piercing musk... which sometimes comes off as IRISH SPRING SOAP, masculine, and/or almost gasoline-like. But its addicting, too. This synthetic white musk confuses me, in every fragrance I've smelled that has it. Both ambroxan and this synthetic white musk remind me of MSG in snack foods... addicting... they keep you coming back for more. Which, i admit, is an uncomfortable association, since the suggestion signals cheap and low quality. But all in all, i love the way this smells.

A faintly floral, fruity musk stated as gender neutral. I personally find that it leans feminine, but to each their own. At the end of it all, it's about the notes you prefer. Niche, but so familiar as it gives mainstream vibes. If you're looking for something in this scent group that is easy to wear, that works in your favor. However, if you're looking for something groundbreaking this is not it. I imagine this being a crowd pleaser, as it is pleasant, not at all offensive and full bodied with great projection and staying power. All top notes are very prominent, especially the cassis; and the raspberry is far from shy. Between the fruit and vanilla, Halley dries down to candied, floral musk but not in your celebrity perfume fashion. Tiziana Terenzi keeps it classy. After an hour of wear, the foundation of wood notes begin to pierce through. Halley is a great stepping stone into this brand or the niche realm in general.

A fruity and floral fragrance that is made for both the genders. Opening notes for this amazing beauty is cassis, passionfruit, lemon and rose. The heart contains raspberry, peach, green notes, floral notes and cinnamon. The dry down is made of heavy vanilla, amber, musk and woody notes. Longevity is long lasting and the silage is strong for this amazing beautiful. This is more of feminine and truly an ok value for money. This is most lovely thing to wear to bed. It is creamy, dreamy and super seductive. Notes are superbly blended and each and every note pops out very smoothly and efficiently. The opening is so lovingly natural and to the point that it makes it worth each and every penny. Extremely loving one!

I was sent a sample of this fragrance by the company prior to a Terenzi Master Class this past week. Out of the new Comete collection, this one is my favorite. It is fruity and sweet but not heavy. It reminds me a lot of the original formulation of Venezia by Laura Biagiotti. I think it's pretty feminine, but I'm sure there are men who can pull it off. I can for sure pick up the Bulgarian Rose and the passionfruit. This is a musk/oud based fragrance, but it's not a strong oud. I can also smell the amber on the drydown, which is likely why I like it so well. It's a great fragrance. I strongly recommend!

Well! This is the first time I comment here and I'm not an expert but I love to try and use many different frangrances. Halley is one of my blind buys which at first I thought meh. Not bad but not wow. Today I finally decided to use it at work. Starting from the elevator in the morning, untill the end of the shift, I collected too many compliments saying "wow how nice you smell today" or "this fragrance suits you so well" or "what's the name of your perfume". Maybe my chemistry maybe it is the real beauty of the fragrance idk but it made my day today. TY Halley. TY Terenzi ❤️

Got a sample. Passionfruit w/Rose & lemon is potent in the opening- giving off tropical vacation vibes. The woody notes, musk & vanilla give it a nice warm musky, cosy dry down without smelling like potent dry Oud. If I was to pack one perfume to go with on my trip, this is the one. It checks all the notes I need without having to carry the entire dresser. Added to my Christmas list.

I love the passion fruit scent. It's incredibly appetizing, especially with the dominant peach note. Rose and vanilla are a bonus. Sweet, cheerful, vibrant, long-lasting – what more could you want? It's more feminine, but I can easily wear it as a man too. The most radiant perfume in my collection, signed by Paolo Terenzi.

He must've had at least one of this type of fragrance in every collection he launches now (The man knows what sells 🤷🏻). While they're all pleasurable, I immediately dismiss them when it's in the higher price bracket...I recommend mid-ranged ones that cost around $150 market price.

Halley is a softer classier version of Stricnina/Temptatio if you have one of the other you really don’t need all 3 😒 like me 💯 literally Halley is smoother and more refined, Strictnina is louder, and fruitier. Temptatio is more musky yet smooth as well.

Beautiful fruity fragrance , i get alot of potent passionfruit in the opening ..... with a projection of 2ft Worth a purchase
