Kaff

Man, this is really great. This starts with a prominent carrot note. Not offputting, since the rest of the of fragrance is absolutely gorgeous. Bright and uplifting notes at the top: of citrus in the opening with a spicy pop. Very light touch of powder that does not overtake the entire composition, you get mostly the floral iris smell. Everything sits on top of this very nice green woody creamy base. This is coming from a guy who is quite sensitive to powdery smells. Wow, it smells very natural, thought I know it's most likely not. The carrot note completely subsides and remains undetectable after the first few minutes. 100% NOT a leather dominant fragrance, so don't expect that. The woods are in the back. I would rearrange the scent profile and say the iris is most noticeable followed by a bit of creamy woods. Okay, time to get some sleep. I haven't gotten any in the last 48 hours.. This one's a love easily guys. Don't need many sprays. I'd wear this to work if I could, but no fragrances in a medical setting.

Iris gin-tonic on a white leather sofa... (full of flavor) Freshly made gin-tonic vibe is what you get in the opening. Like when you take the first gulp and the little sparkling boubles are hitting your face, mixed with a bright pencil shavings accord... (sounds weird, but it is in fact very nice) Juniper and citruses with a delicate iris and a bright vetiver, laying on a soft (kind of fresh) leather background and a hint of dry woods. In the dry-down some white flowers appear together with the iris, vetiver, the leather and the cedar, which remain till the very end, many hours latter. I cannot get any creaminess coming from the sandalwood, not in my skin. To me this is dry like a good gin, rich in flavor and power. Warning* - this is not a cute little freshy, this is BIG Uniqueness: medium - high Scent: 8.5/10 Performance: very high Would I buy it: Yes (already in my collection)

This is an initial impression and would have a full review later: Kaff, to my nose, is like a more intense version of JM Orris & Sandalwood. There's an explosion of citrus and floral freshness on first spray. I love how iris gets to balance the citrus. There's also vetiver giving depth to the whole composition. I'm liking it so far! Performance is yet to be tested but i can tell it's a winner in this category! Oh, the box! Yeah! It's as stunning as the perfume! Two thumbs up! EDIT: After few full wearings, I can say that this perfume is a BEAST! Performance is way up there; great projection and longevity! Would last for days if sprayed on clothes! The iris note, which I love, maintains the "creaminess" of the scent! Great job, Mr. Terenzi! *two thumbs up*

I love this scent (and the other green biased frags Ecstasy, XIX March that I’ve gotten my nose on and have decants of). Very unisex. Probably more appealing to men. But as a woman I adore this. It’s a get-shit-done kind of scent. Crisp and bracing with a piercing green start (similar but better than in a referenced perfume by another house). This for me goes in a different direction than that. A soft sweetness (amber touches) creamy but powdery and lightly soapy clean over buttery soft leather. My fav part is the sharp green note softens slightly but stays suspended right through to dry down where the woods see it out. This lasts and lasts. 22 or so hours between showers and days on clothes. I don’t have a FB yet, but I will. ❤️

Kaff by Tiziana Terenzi has one of the most luxurious packaging in my collection. It acts as a centerpiece amongst my other fragrances and it’s not just the looks that it has going for it; the smell is pure class—an ideal scent for a special occasion. It’s reminiscent of Memo’s Irish leather but with added oomph, if it needed any. The sweet iris and florals make it a bolder scent balancing out the leather and sandalwood notes. Projection and longevity are beastly on this one so a few sprays go a long way.
