La Superba Rossa

This is love from the first sniff! Such a sweet, cozy fragrance! I can smell honey, but surprisingly not much of a rose...and, personally, I prefer this way ... just a bouquet of warm florals...that's how I would describe it. A masterpiece! Longevity 6-7 hours.

I don’t know why more people don’t talk about this, it’s a stunning fragrance. The fragrance lean’s feminine, if you like feminine fragrances suitable year round

I received this as part of the Harrods 12 days of Christmas advent calendar. Personally I would recommend testing out this perfume first to pinpoint whether it’s worth the asking price. This smells like the basic Olay face cream that my Grandmother used to use in the 90’s. There is no complexity here at all. This is quite literally watery roses and powder. I did feel a bit nostalgic as it reminded me of my childhood but that is where it ends. Weak performance and very aged.

To my nose this is sweet, ripe fruit bomb. Like intense version of Paco Rabanne Fame. Night time summer or fall scent. I like it, I wouldn't purchase it but it is one of my favourites form Harrods advent.

It’s more fruity to me rather than floral, plus a slash of shampoo feeling, definitely not my cup of tea, but it’s a good fragrance suits the trends

I agree with the comment that said this is more fruity than floral. It’s little spicy as well. Will be using this fall winter.

I have a sample of this from a sample set, and true to its note list, it opens with a blast of honey so strong that you can almost feel its thickness and stickiness. And then then an opulent rose opens up the veil of honey, breathtakingly beautiful. Therefore i made up my mind to buy one bottle from Harrods... And in Harrods, before I was gonna pay for it, simply out of curiosity I asked the BA to spray from their bottle to have a sniff... And imagine my shock that it smelt entirely different to my sample. No honey veil, in fact I detected no honey at all, and even the rose was tepid, indeed just like the reviewer below said, "watery rose". Tried two different tester bottles there, same smell and might just well be entirely different scent from my sample. So obviously no buy... Now, based on the official notes, I'm inclined to believe that my sample was what Superba Rossa was intended, whereas the bottles i sniffed in Harrods were either wrongly labelled or (God forbid) reformulated. Wonder if anyone has smelled or owned this from before and can chime in here?

Wow what a dissapointment! Definitely nothing like Fort & Manle which is my holy grail of roses (well, one of them.) This, is very basic smelling to my nose. It has that kind of tuberosey commercial undertone. Very happy with myself for resisting all those decants / partials on facebook.

It always amazes me how people smell completely different things. To me this is not a strong rose at all. It’s a floral, warm amber. I don’t get a lot of honey, or a lot of rose. It’s just blended. Dry down every has a slight warm spice to it. Great for winter.
