Lillipur

😗 Love at first sniff. I love licorice type notes so some inevitability really. I first note the artmesia and then star anise. It's warm yet dry, a wee bit bitter from the wormwood, resinous (elemis) and herbally. On my skin there is as much warm green notes as incence. A very interesting combination. Very Zen. It doesn't evolve all that much except sadly the green notes fade a bit after an hour and its the incense that hangs in there to the end. It is largely a smoky resin scent with herbal greenness. One to wear when just chilling. It's the scent that suits a confident person who is in tune with nature. Perfectly unisex. It's a very unisex scent. The more I wear it the more I love it. I've been mad about Kilians taste of heaven forever but I couldn't afford it. I think this makes a reasonable substitute for me. I've got a better chance of saving for this one. Good longevity and average sillage.

When my nose first encountered Lillipur, I immediately started reminiscing about Asian cookery. That star anise, so delicious, herbal and woody, dark like licorice, magically cleansing. Combined with bitter, herbal wormwood and frankincense, Lillipur is a powerful, medicinal tonic. Peppery, fresh, complex, counterbalanced by cashmere and patchouli to give this a pulpy feel that is somehow kin to oud. I don't find much warmth in the base, but there is a certain softness that develops with delicate carnation. Lillipur remains cooly energetic and stirring... some kind of witchery in this golden bottle. Perhaps too cleansing to induce an inner exploration of self as is the intent of this creation as this is a definite wakening to my conscience like a 5am alarm clock. Nothing transcendental or soothing for me, but a very unique and curious creation that is all about the perfume, not the wearer.

OMG I've never smelled anything like this before, not even in the niche world. One of the most unique perfumes I've had the chance to try. Star anis, wood, cinnamon. I mean STRONG star anis. The cedar wood, pepper, musk, tobacco and amber notes show up in the drydown but in a subtle way, complementing the composition. It is labeled as oriental woody, I'd rather call it spicy-woody, the oriental notes don't come out so strong. Quite linear, the opening is similar to the drydown, it smells the same after 3-4 hours. It is warm yet there's some freshness in it, can be easily worn in warm weather too! The performance is quite good, both the sillage and longevity is great yet not overpowering.

This fragrance can be labelled as "interesting", at the start it has a loud loud spices (star anise- Sichuan peppers- and the aroma of wormwood) that remains prominent till half the life time of the dry down, other notes pop up with an orchestrated chaos, this perfume is so unique to my nose, it is not something to wear for any occasion, it is for your self to enjoy or to meditate or to simply go to walk by your self. I enjoy wearing it in the evening while reading a book with soft nice classic music in the background. This is not an everyone's fragrance, too unique for that.

A strong wormwood note is greeting me first together with a very kind and gentle lemon and a shy star anise followed by cashmere wood, frankincense and sichuan pepper and some very soft aromatic floral notes added.. The cinnamon is holding back at this stage, but the cedar is fighting for his spot..After a while the notes calm down and the very comforting phase begins: lovely cozy warm slightly aromatic (but nothing harsh anymore) and smoky woody base. Now, I can smell the cinnamon better but still very smooth..Overall a soft smoky woody fragrance with great longevity.

A fragrance that starts awesome and ends with a meh... I like it... especially for the first two hours... to me the dry down is the usual contemporary patchouli, cedar, musk and tobacco. Don't get me wrong, the ingredients are top notch without question IMO. I really like the star anise, wormwood, galbanum and frankincense opening.. the middle is cinnamon, thyme and pepper. Overall a solid 4 out of 5... As always try before you buy. Enjoy!

This is a very smooth,dry and spicy scent, its not for the gourmand crowd, iff you enjoy complex spicy scents this will get you that fix you crave, Olibanum and Anis are the bread and butter that all the other spices work around, you really do get all the notes in the description and its a master at work here in the blending. It will never get hype cause its not what its about, its a unforgiving spice sensation

I almost bought a bottle but my sister got a smell of the sample and said " this smells like the out door mall in Sacramento, like I just graduated and went there to go shopping. " So instead had to buy her the bottle for her birthday. I can't wear the same stuff she wears unfortunately! I still LOVE this stuff, clean, mysterious, captivating. No one has ever smelt this before and people will ask you!

Wow, it has never happened before that I would be the first to review a fragrance. Lillipur is oriental, woody and spicy but all those notes are soft and well balanced. No nausea, no headache just pure loveliness. It's on my want-list now. Only problem is where can I find this?

Didn't expect to love it so much, with all this tepid comments I am happy I followed my instinct. It's lovely classy all-rounder it reminds me of Kenzo Air with the elegance of Ambre Sultan with better quality.

This is really great for a lover of Tiger's Nest, who wants something they can wear daily. It's a more complex scent, but somehow less of a production. And, imo, goes with all occasions.

What makes this unique is the star anise essential oil which is blended rather well (it's one of my favorite oils to work with and it can be challenging to make anise palatable for people). It's sweetened just enough so that it comes across like a mild rootbeer or licorice--about 20% of the body. The fact that they even used anise oil at all shows that they were willing to take a risk. I commend them for this. How I would make it better: as it starts to dry down, I get a slightly powdery cumin note that sort of takes over the fragrance. It's not body odor cumin. However, it makes it come across similarly to Bentley for Men Absolute. If they took the cumin-like chemical out, the regular incense stick note could shine more. But that cumin note just stifles the fragrance, in my opinion. Because of this, I would give it a 4.5 out of 5, but because Fragrantica won't let you vote in such a way, I'll have to give it a 4. Save yourself some money and just buy Bentley for Men Absolute.

If you like originaly developing scents, inspiring and tasteful, this is a good choice. Of course, if you also like spicy balsams. Olibanum is main note of the perfume and it will follow another phases of the composition. The opening is mostly about sweet anise, slowly passing in spicy florals. Carnation is the most noticable, I think. Unusual combination of benzoin and tobacco is actually quite comforting base. The musk is very subtle, cashmeran and cedar turns fragrance in graceful woodiness which is melted in amber and tonka. Lillipur is harmonious, exceptional and rich scent. Maybe not simple choice but definitely a piece of mastery.

Love this fragrance. Sometimes I layer it with Intense Cafe by Montale and it truly shines. It's a seductive woodsy incense resin mix that is calm and endearing. Easy to get carried away with harsh woods, this scent remains grounded and meditative, as though absorbed in its own thought. Sillage is long and powerful, especially when layered. However, it is soft - not nauseating nor headache inducing. Spicy velvet, pure lust. PS- to all wondering where you can purchase, try lucky scent :) Decent price, $145 per 100ml PPS- if you love Tom Ford's "Oud Wood", you will be drawn to this as well

Mmmmmm this magic potion opens with a cool, juicy, silvery green, incensy vibe. It's almost chewy in density at the initial spray. It's oddly calming and soothing and it lingers there for the first hour or so. This is so beautifully meditative but also very transportive in that I feel like I've woken up on a plush bed of moss in the midst of a deep, lush forest with fairies curiously gazing at me in the moonlight. As it dries down I get hints of my favorite parts of Alexander McQueen's Kingdom, truly it's simply intoxicating!

Searching the internet and YouTube No one had anything good to say about this one And spraying it on my skin I understand the hate But I tried it on my clothes and it wasn’t bad It’s different and rare to find such fragrance That you simply can’t put to words It does last for a good while The dry down is the best thing to me One thing is for sure this is not a crowd pleaser

I should start by saying this smells great and has subtle performance. This seems to be the kind of scent that smells different to everybody. My interpretation is probably unique. To me, Lillipur smells like my grandfather. Whether that is natural old man smell or the smell of the apartment, this is what it reminds me of. I'll probably buy this in his memory.

Fou d'absinthe de l'artisan parfumeur. Non ci sono cisterne dorate di incenso fumante come viene ingannevolmente descritto ma assenzio e note verdi fredde e boschive scaldate da legno e patchouli. Molto carino sicuramente ma non si discosta dal fou d'absinthe.

A beautiful incense based Oriental from this interesting Italian house. Very spiritual and meditative. Has a powdery dry down. Moderate sillage and longevity but beautiful construction.

Interesting ... This one is full of notes that chatter loudly. At the first whiff I have a peppery atmosphere of cinnamon, anise, carnation that reminds me of Dolce Amalfi by xerijoff ... similar vibrations. Then I take absinthe, driftwood, and a mixture that on the skin resembles the peel of a watermelon, but hard as a wood. Maybe the thyme with the lemon under the cyclamen, if I look at the notes in the pyramid. Rather complex and fun before the base notes take over. Cedar, benzoin, patchouli, tonka, tobacco, everything becomes amber but still balsamic, smoky with olibanum and alcoholic for a long time. Even if I don't like cashmeran wood too much, it remains intriguing, sometimes dirty, others more woody and astringent, others sweeter and resinous, others more fruity or dusty. Like a Ferris wheel. Relaxing but fun. On the skin it doesn't drive me crazy but the floral whiffs I get are pleasant, comfortable and familiar and still intriguing. Nice!

This really is Anis and really aromatic, the strong one! I don't like this but with Tiziana Terenzi's good quality is present here as well and many people would get personal unique signature scent from this. This is the beast, I recommend not to use for example in the open office. (This sample I got randomly, I didn't choose this.) Projectivity and longevity is insane. Another unwise decision to buy blindly... HATED THIS WITH A PASSION!! I had a pretty bad experience with sambuca liqueur and because of it, the smell of licorice makes me sick even the slightest hint of licorice turns my stomach so once I smell the licorice in this fragrance on the Shelf it went.... Should've paid better attention. Didn't realize star anise was so prominent in this... YUK!

Love. Love. Love this amber woody fragrance that is unisex, loving and solid one. This is actually a lovely incense-based oriental from house of Tiziana Terenzi. Opening notes in this are star anise, wormwood, lemon and olibanum. Middle notes are Sichuan pepper, cinnamon, galbanum, thyme, cyclamen and carnation floral notes. All the notes in this are so well blended that together they outshine even more beautifully. Dry down phase is even more beautiful with the smoothness of cashmere wood, atlas cedar, amber, benzoin, addictive tobacco, tonka bean and white musk, birch as well as patchouli. Vibes in this one is meditative and spiritual. Such beautiful construction with the cozy, lovely, warm and somewhat aromatic, woody and smokey base. Superb longevity and amazing silage. This one is easy to wear, easy to layer and easy to go around with this beauty. This one reminds me of Asian cookery as the amazing herbal, delicious, woody and dark notes are there. But lillipur is medicinal and powerful tonic. Fresh, peppery, complex one that is counter balanced by patchouli and cashmere for giving the pulpy feel which is kin to oud. There is cool, energetic, softness developed with the delicate carnation. The bottle is golden and very pleasant. Enjoy!

Today I’ve got one of the most sensational, unique and inspirational perfumes ever. Lillipur By Tiziana Terenzi is a wonderful smell of your soul, heart and mind & the harmony between them. This fragrance is really different from most of traditional oriental scents. Lillipur is so about meditation, freedom, relaxation and independence. Sometimes you need to enjoy the time with yourself and you can do it perfectly with this scent. The full perfume composition is so rich, well blended, magical, divine, full of contrasts and new experiences, made of the best ingredients. It’s so long lasting (more than 12 h) as all the Tiziana Terenzi scents. This perfume is not for everyone, when you wear it you plunge into the world of happiness, unique ideas and even ecstasy. The presentation is always on the highest level of Italian luxury. The box and the bottle are real esthetic pleasures for your eyes and hands. Thank you so much for another perfume masterpiece!!!

I just had Lilipur and I am disappointed because this is not what I expect from a perfume. At the presentation is fine, when the fragrance is not here at all. I compared it with the air of the Moroccan desert Andy Tauer, that - following an excellent performance and durablilté while it is only a water closet while intense Lilipur is a sample of perfume to an outfit normal and well below what a perfume extract but an eau de parfum. When comparing prices, A.Tauer is more expensive for 50ml but he keeps his promises, Lilipur is more accessible for 100ml but you are paying for his presentation at the smell is just a perfume but its price could be reviewed cheaper here to forget. This is my first attempt at Tiziana Terenzi but I will not go further with this brand!

I was very keen to smell this perfume since it has been released and finally I received a vial from a generous friend. Although the notes sound very promising, I have to admit that this perfume is very linear. It has very good lasting power, but is a "quiet" perfume that is barely recognisable by others. However, you will be wrapped in a small cloud of anise and cinnamon which gives sort of a relaxing feeling and therefore it is perfectly suitable for office wear IMO. At the drydown you will also detect the tonka bean as well, which is the sexiest part of the development... Nevertheless, I would not spend money on a full bottle. It is a nice creation but just not my cup of tea...

I almost exclusively get a gigantic Olibanum note after the sticky sweet ambery opening that only lasts for a minute or two. It's a nice olibanum that makes me think of something from Amouage, but it certainly isn't complex or especially interesting to me.

Should be far more intense and long lasting. Otherwise good scent and combination of notes just not worth the investment I have 100+ niche samples for swap within Europe - updated spreadsheet of samples on my profile, get in touch!

Smells like juicy fruit chewing gum on my skin. Thank goodness I only ordered a sample. This is not a blind buy. Please sample this first before buying.

Nice for the winter. If you are looking for a cheaper, but almost identical substitute, Dsquared Potion Man EDP is a safe bet.
