Moro Di Venezia

#1172 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a sprayette and I really like this. The notes on Tiziana Tirenzi's site list oakmoss, which is probably why this is a little greener than I had expected from the notes here. Notewise it's not wildly different from Creed "Aventus", "Aventus Cologne", "Erolfa." If you take out the moss there are probably several hundred scents with notes very close to this. I was actually expecting this to smell more like Mont Blanc "Individuel", but this is more green than fruity to my nose. Mossiness is always a winner for me, and the fruitiness dissipates very quickly. The green notes hold on for several hours, which I call "moderate." Projection is also moderate. I couldn't smell it at arm's length, but a girlfriend could (The folk wisdom that women have a better sense of smell is actually well-established https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6381007/ ) Personally, I kind like to smell like I've been camping in the Primitive and some of the smell is sticking to me, which is really what this smell's like an hour in. So I'm in for a full bottle of this one. It's car pool, elevator and small office safe. I think it works year round. Is it a date scent? Do they hiking in the woods, sitting on a log around a campfire, sex in the wilderness? Then yes. Good luck and good hunting!

Wow, let's start with the way that the bottle looks, it's just gorgeous!!! and its juice is even more gorgeous. The opening of this beauty is an explosion of citrus fruits, bergamot, grapefruit and pineapple. I love the way it flows to a beautiful heart full of flowers combined with amber which brings in so much warmth and coziness to this fragrance. All of this slowly becomes a fresh and light juice, perfect for spring days, that you can sense a hint of Hinoki wood, wrapped in oak moss, underpinned by the silent strength of musk which emphasized the vanilla beans. This combination of the dry down is something I haven't seen anywhere else and I loveeee it when I discover new scents and fragrances with complex and unique combinations.

It was little bit risky blind buy for me as it ́s bit expensive, but it was worth it :)) First thing came to my mind when I smelled it was " Mmm crispy ". It ́s beautiful blend which develops from fruity scent into deep sexy musky scent still wearable for all year round. I have to say, this was definitelly not my last purchase from Terenzi ́s.

I will start off by saying this is an absolute gem! It comes off as exotic to me. I rated this as a spring scent, but it's usable for summer too. Lovely fruity top notes, I smell pineapple the most. And then lovely floral notes, violets, lilies and jasmine. Longevity is wonderfully long, I can still smell it after a long day's work.

This was love at first sniff for me. Its a musky freshy with a pleasant green clean twist. This was not on my radar but got a sample and immediately add to cart. I always want this in my collection. If you like clean fresh scents this is amazing BUT you have to love musk too. All season appropriate.

An extremely wonderful fragrance with a great longevity, it stayed on my skin through my whole workday. A very spring fragrance, full of freshness, it's also very light and casual, and feels like a garden full of flowers and some citrusy notes with pinches of vanilla and musk.

Moro di Venezia is definitely a female perfume. Features a delicate floral arrangement of violet, lily of the valley, and jasmine, which is elevated by the warmth of amber. Oak and Japanese Hinoki woods deepen the scent and bring out the musk note. Stunning fragrance!

Pineapple, violet and woods. I think if you like Aventus and you don’t mind to wear a feminine leaning unisex scent you will like this one. Having said that, this one is still a very unique scent

For me there’s more powdered, sweet fruit (think: Turkish delight) and less woodiness than the accord profile would have you believe. Even after hours on my skin it’s still sweet & powdery, with an amber warmth, but not overly woody. The longevity is impressive. It’s been a good 7 hours since applying it and I still get whiffs as I move my arms around. Given it’s amber & musky dry down, I’d wear this in any season. Maybe strictly daytime in the winter, but it would still work. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s very beautiful and versatile. For those reasons, I think it’s definitely full-bottle worthy.

Interesting floral fruity scent designed to evoke the breezy chic of Venetian aristocracy. The perfume opens with citrusy fruity notes of black currant, grapefruit, bergamot and pineapple. The perfume then transitions to a floral heart of violet , lily of the valley and jasmine. The perfume settles on a powdery bed of amber, vanilla, musk and cedar. The feminine leaning perfume has moderate to strong sillage and very good longevity. Recommended for those into sweet powdery gourmand fragrances. A pleasant but unexceptional wear. Enjoy!

I was able to sample 6 Tiziana fragrances and this was my favourite of all. So what do I smell? Violets, pineapple, vanilla, musk and some type of woody note that my nose likes very much. This is a beautiful, happy fragrance. It is something I'd wear to the office, for brunch, and even for everyday activities. To me, it is inoffensive, feminine but not sweet, just sweetened.

Lemonish, pineapple-like, and somewhat hinoki, none of the notes really ring true to me. Insanely overpriced and nothing special.

This is like something Byredo would make. Chic, inoffensive, expensive.. gone within an hour. smh

I got a sample recently and this is nothing like what I expected. I'm wondering if I got a bad sample, but what I get is a sharp opening, a more pleasant fruity musk mid, and after a while in the dry-down, a bit of sourness from the fruitiness blended with the musk (which I have experienced with other fruity + musk frags). I still can't quite wrap my head around this fragrance, but for now I'm not getting what I've read in some of the reviews. It is definitely not the powdery fragrance I expected. Still, it's not bad, but I also wouldn't say this is very good.

This is an extremely beautiful take on bright musky scents like Versace’s Bright Crystal (floral), Yellow Diamond (powdery-floral), Vanitas (creamy citrus) , Bvlgari Omnia Parabia (tart tropical fruity) or D&G L’Imperatrice and Bombshell - in the top sparkly notes, but in comparison, next to them all and many other in the genre, you can smell how Moro di Venezia is indeed a more refined rendition and a very well blended one, suitable enough even for those whose heart is still with Bright Crystal but it's too "young" or too linear or just not enough any more. I wish that way back when these type of scents were exactly my kind of jam, I had Moro di Venezia on that shelf, front and center. I would have been all over it. Now I’m long past that phase, but I can still appreciate how much it would have meant to me in the right moment and how much it will be cherished by the right kind of audience. It’s beautiful, young, feminine, sparkly, joyful, elegant, effortless, refined. I’m not crazy about Armani’s My Way and My Way Intense, they smell great, but are the next generation of the scents I mentioned - a more intense and interesting musky take on Guerlain Aqua Alegoria line. But if you like this line and can’t get over its performance and lacking intricacy and complexity, Moro di Venezia with its attention to detail and remastering some Versace all time favorites, might be just for you. I do recommend it for a safe blind buy. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s this One, that’s well crafted and worth replacing all its sources of inspiration. My husband hates the smell of violets in any form and format (even candy) and he actually likes Moro di Venezia. He finds it light and versatile and doesn’t detect those aspects of the violets that can make them smell old fashioned or cloying, too thick or too powdery. The violet here is with the transparency of watercolors to give way to the fruity drops which radiate light. I was misled in my initial expectations that MdV is some sort of Tom Ford take on violets, or Guerlain Insolence maybe, because of the dark bottle, which somehow suggests some level of opulence and the comparison to Lacoste Femme was suggesting a bit dated floral powder, but I was pleasantly surprised that it’s not any of it and also by how light it is and yet with great longevity for it effervescence. In fact the drydown is very delicate, but holds together for a very long time (days on fabric) and resembles a bit the drydown of another Tiziana Terenzi's favorite - Afrodite (after all - same house, same quality). The resemblance is in the light musky-powdery softness which comes after the lilac in Afrodite and after the sparkly notes in Moro di Venezia. In terms of development MdV goes through more stages than Afrodite. I’m not hyping the scent and I’m not saying you should jump and get it - I’m saying that you need to have the right expectations in order to enjoy it fully.

This stuff is superbly crafted and totally of my kind. There is warmth, amber, flowers and sweetness with some spiciness to counterbalance. I mean, all perfect accords in perfect proportion is what Moro Di Venezia actually is. This one reminds me of Bvlgari Omnia Parabia and Versace’s bright crystal but Moro Di is way more perfectly blended and more refined rendition which meets the requirement of many at once. There are vibes of beauty, youth, joy, sparkle, elegance and freshness in it with the warmth, seduction, and enveloping feel. This stunning fragrance is versatile, light and well-balanced. The dark, passionate and luxurious bottle makes it more attractive and eye-catching giving the feel of it being masculine scent thought this is a unisex fragrance. Longevity is long lasting and the silage is strong for this one making it perform just perfect. I would love to wear this any season because of the musk and amber in it may be more in day time. Worth buying, good for gifting purpose and could be easily taken as blind buy. Be sure, no one can regret having this unique and amazing beauty.

I don't know why no one talks about this one!?!? It's the most beautiful, delicate and feminine pineapple/floral scent. It's one of those rare toe curling scents that will waft around you in such a magical way. The sillage is so lovely. Idk about the Mark Jacobs comparison but this one lasts quite a long time and definitely projects better than any designer. The longevity is low for TT but it still beats out most other fragrances. I wouldn't pay full price mainly because it isn't anything very different or groundbreaking. It's just pretty. Very very pretty. Joma has it for like 109.00, which is 110% worth it.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Such an amazing scent with fruity top notes, floral and amber middle notes and woody vanilla base notes. All well blended with an impressive longevity and strong projection. Even after 12 hours of the spray, I can get whiffs. This is kind of perfect for all the seasons, more preferred in winter daytime. Superb versatile, beautiful and loving yet unique scent. Specially the transitions from fruity to floral to woody is superbly delightful. Such a pleasant and exceptional beauty it is. I assure you are going to get many many compliments wearing this. Enjoy this superb scent!

Beautiful mix of pineapple, amber and violet. Aromatic scent. Awesome profile. A touch of juicy apple. Leans femme. Really good, harmonious blend. Enamoring. Delicate and fleeting. Feminine aura intensifies during dry down.

I had to get a full bottle after trying this in a decant. It smells elegant, very powdery and long lasting. It reminds me like walking into a luxury hotel in Miami Beach with flowers around!

Smells fresh but there is something weird in it that smells like someone sucked on a green apple sour stick and left it in the juice , then proceed to save it in an old/new wooden drawer
