Tempel

As of the moment where I'm writing this review, this fragrance's rating is 3.34. Due to this low rating, I was very hesitant to even try. But to my surprise, this might just the most beautiful lily of the valley fragrance I ever tried. It smells absolutely natural. In my experience trying countless lily of the valley centric fragrances, many of them tend to smell a little too "fresh" in a perfumey, synthetic sort of way. Like Muguet Fleuri. The best lily of the valley I tried was Pierre de Velay's Les Clochetts but that one is very very expensive coming from Roja. So I'm absolutely surprised and amazed at the discovery of Tempel. It's such beautiful, feminine lily of the valley with a powdery amber bed with a very soft touch of oud. As a man, I find this wearable and I can't agree more with the reviewer below: this scent is absolutely addictive and uplifting. I spray it on myself just to feel calm and closer to nature. Full bottle worthy for me and no way should it deserve the under-4 rating at the moment.

@iamwntr your comment sent me looking for Luxur Xerjoff. Now that I got it I see a very low almost non visible Oud stank. I have both and I must say the Oud stank of the the Temple is even better. That said, I love this scent and thoroughly enjoy it. Wish it had more stank and lasted longer. This scent is damn too weak. I barely smell it over an hour even after overpaying, but I love the scent. I don't have anything like it. And when layered it's swallowed up with so much ease. Paolo should give us an extreme version. I would love that. I either have a faulty copy or this thing has been reformulate and watered down if I go by Sebastines taste and recommendation. Paulo do give us an extrait or extreme version of this. That Oud skank is lovely and to die for.

I picked this up after seeing a video where Sebastian (the perfume guy) talked about how repulsed he was by it. Somehow the way he described it sounded perfect for me lol. Anyway, the first time I sprayed it I was like "wtf have I done?" But it tickled my brain in a way that had me returning to it, then it really clicked for me after a couple more wears and now it's a cold weather favorite. The oud softens the LOTV (a note I often find screechy) into something cozy and comforting, while still being interesting enough for me not to get bored. Definitely not blind buy safe but it's in frequent rotation for me and is easily one of my best purchases of 2022.

Want to add. Been wearing Tempel during the season and the florals remind me pikake flower from Hawaiian leis. Which I wore couple months back. Could also be a frangipani or plumeria flower. Heard Lily of the Valley is usually an accord of some other florals. Still a great fragrance of mine.

Love it. A strange journey that becomes a masterpiece. Can’t get enough. Love it. Masterpiece. Bought a bottle. Of all the comets series, this stands out. Haven’t caught a whiff of the exclusive yet. Looks like a British release and really scarce and rare.

Scent: 6/10 Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 6/10 Bottle: -/10 Batch: -------- On the opening I instantly get a dirty oud and white florals mixed. I do like this combination, but feel like there could be a little more to it. It smells a little bit feminine but definitely unisex, it’s not so bad to where I wouldn’t wear it. It projects well for the first few hours and leaves a little trail. It’s a great scent for transitioning from colder to warmer months, the woodiness from the oud is perfect for the colder weather and the Lily of the Valley compliments the fall and spring. I do thing it might be a bit too much for summer but could be pulled off. The dry down was also nice, the oud was still noticeable but turned into a more powdery scent, which I do like due to my ancient age lol I do like this one, but not enough to buy a full bottle especially when I have Oud Ambramad in my arsenal. It has a much more appealing scent with more animalic notes and just smells lovely, and for $280 I’ll definitely pass on it. It doesn't captivate me enough like Oud Ambramad or Sterccus does to wear it or even purchase it.

I should warn the people: at the beginning it's a crossover between cow dungs (Cambodian/Indian oudh) and bitterness of lily-of-the-valley, which later becomes... sweet fruity and pleasant floral! ..but I guess I finally find the weird name "Tempel" to be absolutely accurate in regards to those cowish undertones :D NEVER BLIND BUY (many people are not ready to appreciate aoud-scentric perfumes, especially with such strong animalic hints) Still I must admit it's REALLY interesting olfactory experience, I am impressed! Pyramid is not full here, please, correct it according to the official website, thanks!

Lovely but uninspired Floriental scent from the over the top house that keeps cranking them. The scent opens with a central lily of the valley surrounded by magnolia and narcissus. It then starts moving to its base almost immediately which is primarily comprised of oud and ambergris. The feminine leaning scent has moderate sillage and very good longevity. Overall somewhat underwhelming, even though it picks up steam after a dullish start. Enjoy!

Oud & LotV is not a common combination, and this house has certainly done it well; the oud smells authentic and is illuminated by the uplifting muguet.

It's not really a stinky dookie oud, it's a lovely fresh lily of the valley scent and the oud adds a bit of umph and uniqueness to it. I also got this based off of Sebastian's review, it's honestly quite tame. In comparison to things like Dior Leather Oud and Xerjoff Luxor or even Diptyque Oud Palao this is waaaay at the bottom in oud stank. 8/10 Don't be afraid of it

300 I bought a bunch of samples from this brand. This one is the worst one of the bunch. It smells like stale musty standing water and valerian(dirty socks, barn) on opening and mid. It’s harsh. It stays like this for a while until it dries down to a musty medicinal leather wood note. No lily of the valley to be found anywhere (which is why I chose to sample this in the first place). 0/10-who’d want to smell like this!

So, this was actually a birthday gift from one of my dear friends last month. Reading the notes of amber, oud surrounding the lily of the valley throughout didn’t appeal me much so I kept it in my shelf but didn’t bother to try. Last week, I dared to try this as I was having a bad day and wanted some relax and calm surrounding. Thought to try this floral one expecting to be calm and soothing maybe. To my surprise, this is a fantastic floral perfume that seems to be uninspired and opened up with the central lily of the valley which is enveloped in the narcissus and magnolia. Dry down is ambergris and oud mostly. For this amazing beauty, the longevity is strong and the silage is moderate. The authentic smell of oud is kind of uplifting and illuminating one. This scent uplifted my mood immediately and I felt sitting in a floral valley flooded with the valley that enveloped in this peace and relaxation ambience overall. Since then, I have been wearing this scent every night to feel relax and composed. I am in love with this beauty. Recommended to anyone and everyone who just doesn’t want to smell nice but also want to get vibes and feel from it. Enjoy!

Lovely floral oriental scent that is based on amber and is totally unique one. This is a new fragrance by Paolo Terenzi with distinct notes that blend beautifully. Opening notes are lily of the valley, heart consists of the lily of the valley and oud while the dry down is made up of amber with the hint id the lily of the valley in background. In this scent, lily of the valley plays the most significant role. Very few notes are well blended with the lily of the valley and blossoms accordingly. Because of this lily of the valley, I found this little more inclined towards the feminine side. There is authentic smell of the oud that is uplifted and illuminated by the lily of the valley altogether. This feminine inclined scent is a moderate performing one with the superb longevity. A nice one overall.
