Verna

Up until now, I have smelled, tried, and used a lot of perfumes. However, I have never come across one as different, complex, and unique as Verna. From the moment I first spray it until it disappears from my skin, it goes through a lot of changes and transformations. This journey of the perfume becomes very different in different seasons or depending on where it is sprayed (skin, clothes, hair). Still, if I had to summarize it in a single sentence: 'When people say you have a pure and comforting scent, this must be it.' As for its performance, there is nothing left to say; its sillage and longevity are very good.

This is NOTHING like RM 5 or Babycat. It’s a league of its own. A standout in the crowd! Leather here is not so prominent as in those other fragrances. What kind of trolling is this? Comparing this gem to these other copy-paste fragrances? It stands out in the crowd. It’s different. It’s original... and it’s so sexy. Perfume of the year in my book! 🖤💫

At Exsense, the jewels come first. In my opinion, one of the best perfumes of the year! A wonderfully vanilla coconut note with ambergris. This smells very expensive and sophisticated. So far, one of my favorite scents at the event."

Verna smells similar to Babycat, but the latter is more versatile (for a man), it balances on the edge of androgyny, it's a bit smokier, but fresher at the same time. I can wear it at daytime easily. Verna is more rounded, it's sweeter and definitely leans feminine. Since I'm a man I prefer Babycat, but Verna is a beautiful modern vanilla perfume for sure. It's rich, opulent and totally satisfying for vanilla lovers.

So damn sexy. I was in Selfridges and tried it. Walked away and had to buy. I can’t explain. It’s definitely not Mateu 5 or Babycat. Similar vibe but prettier (I own and love both). Longevity is amazing.
