This fragrance is a 10/10! From the very beginning, the fragrance is full of contrasts- the cardamom seeds and the leather intertwine and chase each other with the decisive essence of peat and tobacco, but thanks to the jasmine and violet, it softens everything. The brutal notes are emphasized by laudanum and musk which accompany us in the visual and dreamlike tale through the precious fabrics. The power of patchouli continues to narrate a desire to live outside all convention, following only the refined aesthetic quest for wonder. At the base, the oudh is blended with ambergris along together with oakmoss which gives a strong and very elegant soul to the tale.

Bought this at a great price as a blind buy. Glad I did! Extremely classy. Recommend this bottle. I was first intrigued by the notes and especially some of the most prized Ouds make up the composition. Just well done fragrance. Something that I could wear and know it’s got all the bases covered in any situation, social setting and almost anywhere. Very calming and all around captivating. The presentation/ box is a crazy installation including a light that goes off when you open it. I felt it was over the top even gaudy. But I think this bottle went for some high prices in the past. Recommend this. Great buy. A winner from Terenzi.

This is a wonderful fragrance, perfect for this weather in the winter. It is a bold and leathery fragrance for special nights and events. It's a unisex fragrance but some people say it is more a manly perfume, but in my opinion it can definitely be a women's perfume for women who want to feel strong and sexy and have a lot of confident because this perfume is a beast!

The packaging itself is a showstopper, and this perfume does not disappoint. It's meant to be unisex, but it leans more manly for me. The top notes of leather and tobacco blends seamlessly with the middle notes of musk, patchouli and jasmine sambac. Well-balanced and perfect, just perfect, for cold winter nights

Hmm if there is one combo of notes that I LOVE is musk, patchouli and oud. And this fragrance has it all and besides, it's also a fragrance by the master Paolo Terenzi, so now I have no doubt at all that this would be a gorgeous perfume. Definitely on my wishlist :)

its a fragrance that changes along the way. first hour i like it very much , now in the dry down reminds me of ombre leather which i have so its redundant.

I blind bought a FB of Vittoriale on sale for $79.95 based upon the note pyramid which looked very promising. However, after reading a review which didn't rate it highly, I decided to hold on to the unopened box and order a sample just in case. I'm glad I did. In short, the FB is being returned. My experience with the sample was strange. Immediately after spraying Vittoriale, I got ---- nothing but perfume alcohol. It was weird. I must have been nose blind to all those top notes. And yet, not the leather because as it dried down, that's all I got. A very mild leather appeared and that was it. None of the other notes. It was OK; it didn't smell bad and was pleasant enough. It's just there was nothing else to it. It's a pass for me. I'd much rather wear Gucci Guilty Absolute or Cuoium over this. Longevity and projection were moderate. Masculine fragrance.

Jury's still out on the scent, they might be doing something that Gucci (Guilty Absolute) and DS Durga (Amber Kiso) have already done way better. But I've never had packaging that I would describe as awful before. Just an all out assault of awful. The environmentalist wept and gnashed their teeth when this boxing was conceived.

I get cow poop. Thought maybe I just had to get through to get to the dry down and get some amazing Oud. Not the case. Stayed cow poop for an hour. Had to scrub it off.

I have owned this fragrance for about 6 months and have refrained writing a review because I have been unable to find accurate comparisons for this gem. It is an animalic, woody, dry, and sensual leather fragrance. It opens with a dominant fine leather note, but it is totally different from Tom Ford Tuscan Leather and Ombre Leather, which most leather fragrances seem to get compared to today. The leather note is accented by a dry tobacco and labdanum, which creates an effect similar to sweaty skin (in the best way possible). The violet leaves lend an ozonic feel to the opening and mid, and as the fragrance dries down it gets drier and woodier. In the drydown, I get leather, earthy patchouli, inoffensive oud, indolic jasmine and salty ambergris. This literally smells like sex in a bottle. This fragrance is extremely unique. It has aspects of the raunchy leather from Dior's Leather Oud, along with the dryness of Roja Parfums PDLN 3 (without the sweetness). I do not believe this is blind buy safe, but I would recommend sampling this for sure. Anyone that believes that Paolo Terenzi only makes "clones" of other fragrances should sample this, Chimaera, and Mirach and then try to argue against Paolo's talent. Also, for the sake of the review, this fragrance performs excellently. 10/10, unique with a masterful blend. Highly recommended.

Having had a couple of 5ml samples from a UK-based supplier, I fell in love with this scent which had a lovely somewhat grapefruit top note on top of something darker and more leathery. I've since bought a full bottle from Fragrancex (shipped to the UK) and it's very different. The full bottle has much less of that top note (I can only slightly detect it on clothes when it's dried down a bit) and smells much more of a petrol/diesel mixed with a deep, smoky leather. It is very animalic and very unusual - I've never smelled anything quite like this. I enjoy it still, but it's not like my samples at all. They lasted quite a while whereas the full bottle lasts long on clothes at the moment, but not so much on skin and with minimal sillage. I'm hoping it will change with maceration - the bottle was very cold after arriving by air mail so it may need to settle more than the week I've had it. I don't think the samples were fake; I'm not aware of any dupes of this anyway. The presentation box is scarcely believable for a fragrance - more akin to nice boxes you get with luxury watches. The built-in light that turns on upon opening is unnecessary and possibly tacky to some.
