L'EAU DE PARFUM N°2

Earlier I posted my review on ‘D’Or’ from this brand and I have been exited to write about this one. If I thought I loved ‘D’Or’ then I don’t have the words to describe this one. Absolutely one of the best. On a paper strip this gives light fresh citrus with some christmas spices. Almost like a champagne soda, or fruit soda. Pretty weak on the strip, but on the skin this really shines. I get warm and spicy, some tobacco and sweet compote dessert. Mulled wine with raisins and cloves. The citrus isn’t as prominent on my skin but that’s okay. This is comforting in an almost hyptnotizing way. Some have written about a cola-vibe and I get that, but in a more thick and syrup-y way. Not fresh and cold, but warm and sticky and the fizz have gone out of the soda. This is an oriental spicy that I actually enjoy, I often find them to be a bit too heady, strong and overpowering but this one is a perfect blend of the fresh and light, and dark and spicy. And to get this beautiful scent with a longevity of about 12 hours? And a good sillage? I love it.

I discovered this masterpiece through my friend, who brought it back from Poland. It’s a complete, outstanding work of art, and watch out—this thing is a beast.The scent constantly shifts its character, trailing behind you like an invisible veil, piercing the nose. It performs best in winter, but I wore it a few days ago at 23 degrees Celsius and it was wonderful. I absolutely love finding hidden gems like this from around the world.

First Cloves with Cinnamon spiciness then fruits appear but for my nose those are rather a thick fruity syrup. It might be a spiced clove cola with a naturall fruity sweetness. Beautiful fragrance for me and those who also like cola and cloves, spice vibes. Really nice original one.

Christmas in a bottle! Winter coziness. No 2 is all about the warmth of cloves and a bit of honey-like sweetness from dried fruits and tobacco. Peacefull, cozy, warming. Amazing scent!

As the Notes suggest, cloves is a dominant note here. At first, you get a blast of mint-like freshness + cloves, then it slowly turns into a warm, more intimate cloves scent. It has a Boss Alive vibe to me (cloves here vs cinnamon there), but its more mature, darker version. For a spicy fragrance lover, it is a pretty non-offensive, elegant perfume. From what I remember about Eight&Bob, it also has a similar vibe to Annicke 6.

The opening is very syrupy – like perfuming yourself with mulled wine. When it dries, it remains sweet buy becomes more of a coke, losing the boozy vibe quite present at the beginning. Clove, clove, and more clove, but as it dries down, it's the sweetness that persists. I could wear it to a winter evening outing, thick sweater would pair fabulously.

Realy nice, one of my favourites from this house. Well blended fragrance and the notes fade into eachother nicely. The dried fruits settling and allowing through the very heavy clove note and leather. Smells like eating a warm gingerbread cake in a bar on christmas eve

If I had to choose a name for this perfume, I would call it Cola Absolu. On blotter it is a pure coke. But on my skin it gives off an extra note (medicinal? metallic smell of copper coins?) that i didn't like very much.

When i first smelled it on my skin, i told my wife: " its more spicy coca cola". Looking at below reviews, im not alone. However, and this is my unique impression, after a while it turned to something which i described as "an old woman in a church vibe", which was not intriguing at all, just sweet, heavy and dull. As a side note - my youngest sprayed a sample, and after a while said with disappointment "it was interesting...and then it stopped".

🍵Winter Tea in a Café 🍵 Snow is falling, and I'm sitting in the corner of an old café with wooden décor. Books cover the walls from floor to ceiling, smelling of old pages and something else - the barista is brewing winter tea with cloves in the corner. Strong, distinct ones that sting the nostrils. On the table nearby sits a bowl of dried plums and dates. I take a handful, chew slowly, and the taste mixes with the aroma of clove tea. It's warm, cozy, outside the window the world has disappeared under snow. Somewhere in the background lingers the scent of tobacco - maybe from a pipe a customer lit earlier. N°2 is exactly this moment. Clove strong as in tea, dried fruits sweet as winter memories, and that tobacco note that adds depth. Everything wraps around you like a warm sweater in a cold café. A scent that embraces better than a blanket. Perfect when winter rages outside the window. @the.scent.files
