Cedarwood 昆仑煮雪

A freshly groudned pile of pine needles - very similar to Tenebrae 26 by l'artisan but not as powdery as that one. It's very gentle and unoffending, and in this way it does resemble Orpheon by Diptyque. Opens purely green and woody. Ending into Guaiac wood, reminding me of Gaiac 10 by Le Labo. If you are a woody person you definitely need to try this.

Chloe cedrus but deeper, more luxurious. Incense isn’t one of the notes listed but I smelt both side by side and could tell this had that smoky note. Sorta like the bright cedar from cedrus + an additional smoky, sweet and fragrant black tea

This smells wonderful for me. It reminds me of those high class hotel lobbies, woddy, smooth and ever-slightly sweet. Perfectly unisex

Super green and uplifting scent. 10/10

I got this as a gift. I like it. Woody/green isn't my style personally, so I don't wear it. But it's well-made and likeable, and I appreciate it for what it is. Comforting, earthy, forest-y, feels like being in the mountains at high altitude. Cold, foggy air. I wear it to bed on occasion. It's not really for me, but people who look for this kind of scent will love it.

As this is only available in mainland China it was quite a process to get it to the States, but I am glad I did. I've been in search of a less-sweet version of Gypsy Water by Byredo, my favorite scent of all time, when I happened across this fragrance. To my genuine surprise it was created by the same perfumer! I've only smelled it a couple times right after the package arrived, so it may still have some settling to do. It can be a touch antiseptic, but that's just the wood showing through full force. It is bright, earthy, and very natural. It seems like it won't project as much as I'd like, but I knew that would be the case with a Chinese perfume. To me, it is perfect for winter time. It is the most realistic wood scent I have smelled, and I can't wait to experiment with it. If you like the citrus and woodiness of Gypsy Water without even a hint of sweetness, I say give this a sniff.

Just like a pine forest! Could not fault this fragrance on this kind of scent profile, its a very photorealistic pine and cedar scent with some berry and citrus up top, and a warm amber base that makes this radiate warmly off the skin. Very simple and beautiful. 7/10

this doesn't smell like paper or books at all, but it evokes the image of lush summer foliage pressed between stacks of creamy, heavy cardstock (to me). very unisex in a way that inspires gender envy <3 jérôme epinette you will always be famous

I kind of like that this is forest forward (pine, bergamot, juniper, citrus) with light florals in the background and woody base notes. Definitely unisex. First test of a decant and will need to test more regarding longevity and projection.
