Giulietta

This smells professional,yet kind. Personally, I dislike the opening of this.It smells almost sour and acidic for maybe 5-10 minutes. However, I adore it after. It smells like a soapy apple face powder with a very mild warmth that comes from the amber. This leaves this feeling like a fresh floral with a very slight floriental drydown. I think this makes this scent ideal in spring and autumn.This is because it's too light for extreme cold, whilst also smelling very slightly too warm for the dead of summer. That said, I don't think the scent is awful outside of autumn and spring, it just needs days that are crisp and slightly cool almost like the granny smith apples that dominate the scent. Longevity for this is complicated. If you are measuring it purely on how long the apple scent lasts, it may only stay how you like it for 1-2 hours. However, if you also enjoy the floral,woody powder of the scent, I think it's good for about 4-5 hours. This scent has very mild sillage. The most anyone is think of you when you wear this is that you've recently showered. In a way it's like cacherel's Noa, the sillage is the absence of a bad smell rather than the sillage of a good one. It leads a good impression, but not a lasting one. I think this is one of the best scents around for smart casual situations and the office. It smells like natural looking make-up looks. It's soft-spoken, yet confident. Finally, as a man wearing this scent, I think it's more unisex than it first appears. It smells well groomed and smooth. Nothing about that is particularly gendered beyond perhaps men perfume's propensity for aromatic freshness. I also think this scent may work somewhat well for some sporty situations. Quite refreshing after light exercise. Perhaps a little pricey to be used for that, but it's undoubtedly good for it probably. For the strangest reason, I can picture a bicycle ride through a small town to run errands when I smell this perfume. It's not much like D&G Light Blue (no citrus) , but I can see someone who enjoys Light Blue trying this to branch out. It carries the same soapy scent, but is more powdery and less woody. I would say I love this when conditions suit it. I wear Anais Anais as a signiture currently, and I think Giuletta will work well as a scent to alternate into.

This was my signature fragrance in high school. Smelled beautiful and soft. Giulietta is pure romance in a bottle. It is exactly what you would expect a Tocca fragrance to smell like lol. It reminds me of getting dressed in the morning. Light is streaming through the windows, and the walls and linens are a soft white color. Yellow tulips are sitting in a porcelain vase on the windowsill. It is sweet, but only slightly. No where near a cloying LVEB sweet. The sweetness seems to come from the ylang-ylang and green apple. It is a very soft, natural sweetness: one you might find in a fruit if that makes sense. It's about as sweet as a banana. It is very juicy-smelling from the green apple. It has also a very soft and pretty creaminess from it. Didn't find this soapy at all, but I could get why people could think that way. It's more like a tasty fruit. The silage is very soft though, and the longevity is pretty weak. Giulietta probably lasts about 1-3 hours. I know people think that this fragrance is inoffensive, boring and generic. I agree. But it's not necessarily a bad thing. Giulietta is something you would wear if you want to smell nice, no one dislikes it. It's great for an everyday or signature fragrance. It is very safe and romantic. Men love this. This would be perfect for sweet, feminine young women with big imaginations. It's generic and popular in the way that everyone loves sunsets or every young girl wants romance, if that makes sense. One tip to whoever is interested in this fragrance: test it out in-store before you buy! I have found that if you don't have the right chemistry, it can somehow smell sour and tangy on your skin. Some of my friends have borrowed this, and it smelled slightly foul. Others smelled absolutely dreamy. It should smell fine the majority of the time, but I would suggest making sure to prevent any regrets. If you have the right personality and chemistry for this fragrance, it would smell heavenly on you.

I sprayed this in Sephora today and was honestly blown away. As far as everyone saying it smells like Japanese Cherry Blossom, I don't get that at ALL. this is much fresher, not powdery at all. This, and Florence, were the best smelling offerings in my opinion. They just smell so luxe and classy. They're definitely sophisticated scents. This one is super clean and fresh, and while freshies definitely aren't my thing, I love this one. Perfect for spring. To clarify, the problem I have with most "fresh scents" is that they are overly citrus-y or have a "kitchen cleaner" kind of smell to them. This is fresh without having any of that citrus influence. I'm actually kind of surprised that people are saying it smells like JCB, because if we were going to compare it to a B&BW scent in my opinion, beautiful day would probably be the closest thing to this. However, beautiful day has a very artificial apple scent, while this one is a lot more authentic and natural smelling. I love apples scents, I was obsessed with DKNY be delicious in high school, eau so sexy from Victoria's Secret is still one of my favorites. Yet even those have somewhat of a juvenile undertone to them, while this smells very sophisticated and grown-up. For anyone who is put off by the comparison to JCB in the reviews, I implore you please smell this for yourself. Because I promise you, it smells absolutely nothing like it. My grandmother wears JCB religiously, and I cannot stand the smell of it. This is not that, I promise you!

Pleasant, clean, soapy. Light. A nice white t-shirt smell, in a grownup way. I do not get any of those notes, and don't find it floral at all, but I am enjoying wearing this when I want a change from my usual soft florals. Excellent for spring and I think it will be great in summer, but it works for chilly wintery days too. It's got a winter/spring vibe to me. I get the "febreeze" thing but it doesn't smell like that once it's on my skin. It's soap soap soap. But nice soap :) I thought I didn't like this perfume, and I de-stashed my other Tocca perfumes (LOVE the beautiful packaging, but they all started smelling too artificial/harsh to me) and I don't miss them. But I found myself unwilling to let this one go, and I'm glad I hung onto it. It has an old-world, elegant smell, but I do not find it "elderly". It's not juvenile but it's still youthful... to me, this is a beautiful woman from the previous century, in her early-mid 30s, taking a bath with expensive soap and drifting around an Italian castle in a crisp linen dress. The initial spray is a bit sharp and alcoholic but it dries to a nice fresh ladylike scent. I had to wear it a while before I saw that, but I'm glad I did. I see where the negative reviewers are coming from, but encourage anyone on the fence to try a sample (and don't judge by the initial spray!)

Giulietta by Tocca is a powdery, warm, and elegant scent. It smells like warmth and sunshine. I feel like this fragrance is wonderful for summer. It is vibrant and charming. Youthful, but not modern. It has an ancient charm and romance to it; a beautiful innocence and purity. It is the fragrance of a classic love story. Giulietta feels very european and medival to me. I imagine this on a young maiden in a white dress. Cool cobblestones, climbing roses, lantern light, secret vows of love. It is a fragrance for a princess. It smells like fresh citrus and cascading waves of golden hair adorned with small white flowers. Timeless, effortless beauty. Giulietta is grace and radience. A rose garden on a warm summer day, soft sunlight dancing between the leaves, statues casting shadows on the grass. This perfume is pink roses and lemons, delicate and pure lily of the vally. It is powdery, enchanting, and mysterious. There is also a very subtle woodiness and warmth to it, like a gently burning fire; the soft masculine scent a man leaves on you after a passionate embrace. Giulietta feels like fragrant summer air, citrusy and floral; the warm light that shines through a stained glass window, a secret kiss, a promise of love and devotion, warm inviting eyes. A true timeless beauty.

Already reviewed this one but I have to say that over the past year or so this has become my signature scent and nobody is mentioning my favorite thing about it-- it smells so COLD and refreshing. It was practically the only perfume I could stand while I was pregnant/postpartum (not that I wanted to spray a lot of perfume around when I was pregnant/nursing, but sometimes... just a little on the back of my neck...) This is a curative in the hot, humid, dog days of summer that are unfortunately almost everlasting where I live. My precious tea, citrus and fresh water 'fumes ALL go sickly-sweet/fake-sour in this sort of weather (sigh). I love freshies but can't do them in the summer anymore, ironically. But THIS... it's icy cold all day long. Like sticking my face in the freezer or right up next to the full-blast air conditioning vent, but in the best way. (My husband can smell green apple and linen in this; I mostly just get "expensive soap" but can find the apple a little bit. It's not floral at all to me but if I want floral I layer it with Pacifica Lilac.) It lasts all day on me. Comforting at night and bracing during the day. Love, love love. I want the big bottle. And a candle. And a shower gel...

I’m pining for my long lost D&G Sicily. I had a nice big bottle about 90% full that I dropped on my bathroom floor years ago and smashed, not realising it had been discontinued. Note to self: work out which of my perfumes have been discontinued and put them aside in the “to avoid heartbreak, only handle over carpeted floors” section. Since my tragic floor smashing incident, I have been searching for a Sicily replacement but with no luck. Sicily is such an incredibly unique fragrance that D&G really needs to bring back. I keep begging D&G, but not surprisingly, my repeated requests have yet to get the job done. Online petition, perhaps? Sicily lovers unite! Long story short, when I smelled Giulietta I felt like I was getting a lot warmer on the Sicily trail. Really similar soapy, clean vibes. And like with Sicily, smelling Giulietta I was reminded of my grandma - classic, clean, comforting, unpretentious beauty. Giulietta has a bit less warmth and depth than Sicily, but at the moment it’s the closest I’ve come to filling the Sicily shaped hole in my heart.

This is absolutely gorgeous! This is so lovely and sweet (in a kind and gentle sort of way). There's a lush, feminine purity to this scent. Not in a boring all-white sort of purity, but more in a "I've seen the dark side of life but I've overcome that and still whole-heartedly believe in myself and the goodness in people of this world." I've been through some trauma and now that I'm on the tail end of healing from it, Giulietta feels happy yet peaceful--where I'm feeling like I am ending up after so long. There's a delicate warmth to it, like a soft smile. But also full of florals and optimism--like "I can't wait to see what life has in store for me to today :)" This reminds me of the 2000s. That decade was hard for me (although not as hard as the 2010s) so this scent is allowing me to revisit that time period and focus on the good things that happened and the beauty that was created during that era, instead of getting lost in the post 9/11 fear, anger, and paranoia. So this is strangely, wonderfully revisionist! What a beautiful perfume!

I have the Tocca sampler, and out of the set, I picked this one as my favorite and bought the full size. It's elegant, delicate, feminine, soft, cozy, comfy. On first sniff you get the freshness of apple, which is balanced with sweet and powdery flowers. I swear there is a base note of vanilla, even though that's not listed. I just checked the Tocca website and it says vanilla orchid, the vanilla being the part left out on the accords and notes here. The vanilla at the end is what seals the deal for me. I feel pretty wearing this. I do understand the deodorant comments, but I never thought about it like that until reading the reviews here. Not to mention the bottle is absolutely beautiful. The only downside is that it has basically no projection. While the (lack of) sillage matches the light and airy aesthetic I associate with this fragrance, it is still disappointing that it doesn't last long. I can still smell it on my clothes at the end of the day, but not on my skin. Despite that, I still love the scent.

This perfume is very light, excellent for casual wear to school or the office as the sillage is intimate, even if you doused yourself in it. The scent however does remain on the clothes, so if you put your nose to it you will still get that flowery soapy scent, but very mild. The scent itself doesn’t scream Granny Smith Apple, but I do smell it, in the way that if I were in the same room as someone juicing a green apple, I might just be able to tell the scent is somewhat fruity in the air. I think it pairs amazingly with the flowers chosen for the mix, however it is a quiet perfume that will not claw for attention. So though it is beautiful, don’t expect many others to notice or compliment it. Very clean smelling, but there is a fraction of a percent of something smelling slightly sour on me. Maybe it is the apple after all. My ex said he enjoyed this scent, but did say *multiple times* that it smells like hand sanitizer? He still liked it though so I suppose it isn’t a deal breaking sanitizer scent.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I have almost all of the Tocca scents and since they’ve discontinued Margaux, I’d have to say this is now my favorite. I don’t own any other perfumes with a Granny Smith apple note, but it’s so nice. It’s not sharp or sour, it has a subtle sweetness and the powdery lilac balances it out so well and the musk adds a nice touch. My one complaint - I wish it lasted longer. On clothes, I get about 6-8 hours out of it, but on skin, approximately 3-4 hours. When this is the case, I usually won’t buy a perfume again unless it’s cheap and this one isn’t, but I like it so much that I have a large one and a roller ball for touch ups. It’s just that gorgeous. Something in it resembles Gucci Guilty to me after I’ve been wearing it for awhile. It really smells like nothing else I own though. I highly recommend this for everyday wear.

I love all Tocca fragrances, they are all extremely beautiful! From the pretty classic bottle designs that look like something was designed for a princess to outstanding and glorious dreamy notes in perfume. A few are my definition favorites, and among them is Giulietta! It smells like a sunny morning in late spring when all of the apple blossoms are blooming in your garden and your heart feels hopeful after a period of darkness or sadness. Maybe you are biting into a juicy green apple and smelling some fresh laundry in the air. The lilacs are blossoming and for the first time you are ready to turn a new leaf in your life. I recommend it for every day wear. It can easily become a signature scent. But if you’re a cautious sort, start by trying it in a sample.

This is the scent of innocence. Came back to this one after a long while, not in a "return to innocence" kind of way lol, but because in my memory this is a lily-of-the-valley scent, even though I didn't write my initial review that way. It's very delicate and sheer, inoffensive. The apple is fleeting, and I get the other notes as supporting the impression of lily of the valley with a white musk base. If you like white musk and lily of the valley you might like this. Leaves an oily sheen on the skin, but fluid is still clear after 15 years. I think I probably blind bought this from Sephora for the lilac note, but found it too pretentiously innocent. But who knows, maybe I'll return to innocence in my twilight years.

The wearer is running around a flower field in spring, it is about to rain and the petrichor scent is mixing with this perfume and the flowers in the field. The wearer is in a short little tea dress covered in a dainty floral pattern. This scent is so dainty and pretty, and has this dewy quality to it. Giulietta is effortlessly pretty, with cheeks that are always flushing pink, and a heart bigger than everyone elses. The green apple is not very crisp, it is more sweet and fluffy and the note has more of the sweetness of the green apple than the tangyness and crisp ness. The floral notes really steal the show imo. The silliage is intimate and the scent overall is very fresh, floral and feminine, and sweet.

It does smell a lot like the old BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom, so if you miss that, this should fill the void pretty nicely. It's above all a musky, powdery (but not too powdery) fragrance. I thought this would be fresher and more apple-forward based on the previous reviews, but I really don't find this super fresh. It's well blended. Aside from the musk and powder, I smell a little lilac, something sweet, and maybe a blend of a couple of other flowers. It's a pretty safe scent, people could mistake it for lotion. There aren't many scents that I would wear to work, but this is one of them. It projects just enough, and the lasting power is not horrible...I get whiffs throughout the day.

Utter confusion here. I don't get ANY apple at all from this. Not in the opening and neither in the long run. I get wonderfully clean yet warm florals, I get iris, I get orchids and I get the feeling this might just be my new signature scent. To even compare it to "your average apple scent" seems bizarre to me, but I guess it might just be my skin chemistry. Either way, I'm loving everything about it, including bottle design, art work, name, backstory, everything. I have never tried any of the other female-inspired Tocca scents but I sure am dying to do so now, being left in a more than wonderful daze and affection for this one, Giulietta.

An utterly divine and stunning scent that I absolutely love. I smell the green apple, the flowers, and a delightful clean soapiness. It's airy, fruity, flowery, fresh, clean, and shampoo-ey (which I personally love). The green apple note is very well done and it greets you immediately. It smells like the platonic ideal of a green apple. Just so beautiful, so feminine, so luxurious smelling, and so clean! It would be the perfect fragrance if it didn't have the lasting power of lightly perfumed water. 10/10 for the scent. 0/10 for lasting power. I've had cheap bootleg perfumes sold to me off the streets that had better lasting power.

This is truly the most beautiful, whimsical, feminine fragrance. Makes me feel like a nymph! I can smell the ylang ylang but it’s subdued, I really feel this fragrance as a spring, perhaps spring to summer transitional fragrance. To my nose, there are also some fresh elements. The fragrance is just stunning, reminds me of woman in a beautiful green silk dress. Hints of florals, almost smells “watery”... a gentle fragrance. Truly I just love this fragrance. Subtle elegance. Completely signature fragrance worthy, if you are willing to reapply. Longevity is not great on skin, maybe it’s better on clothing.

This smells a little like a lot of things I’ve smelled before. I really enjoy it. The apple note reminds me of D&G Light Blue, and the way it becomes creamy and soft reminds me of Versace Eros. The floral notes feel clean and lush, like expensive scented soap in a steamy shower. It’s juicy without being syrupy or candy sweet. The dry down is soft—a similar vibe to the DK Cashmere Mist that my mom used to wear. I really like how familiar this smells. It doesn’t smell cheap, no part of it is objectionable, and it lasts all day on me. It’s not unique but that’s ok. It’s lovely and I wear it often.

A fresh opening with the Granny Smith apple you can definitely smell of the bat! It mellows nicely and settles in to be a green fruity floral but not the traditional fruitiness that is found in some fragrances! it starts to got tropical and I feel that ylang ylang but morphe into such a freshness from the lilac and lily of the valley. The base notes come out after about 15 mins which is musk sandalwood and helitrope, I do not get the amber at all. All in all I love it. I will be wearing this in the summer this will work well in the high heat. Recommended 10/10 leans more feminine

If happiness were an accord, Giulietta would have it in the top spot. This fragrance makes me so happy. It is dewy, springtime freshness in a bottle. It’s the smell of renewal after a long, dark winter. I particularly enjoy its subtle sweetness, balanced with a chipper, crisp (not dirty) green accord. I’ve smelled this before, we all have, so yes, it’s not groundbreaking, but there’s sophistication in its composition that takes it beyond just another soapy floral. It performs like an edt, so hit your hair and your clothes and you’ll smell it for hours.

This is absolutely delightful. It smells delicious and so fresh and clean it's hard to stop sniffing yourself. The apple note is perfect; and it's not sour or crunchy but sweet, juicy and absolutely stunning. It's rounded out by powdery florals and has just a small touch of woods to keep it from veering juvenile. I'm obsessed. It doesn't sit well on my skin though and the powder dominates after an hour or so and it starts smelling like the Lady Speed Stick deodorant. Try it on your skin first; it would be the most perfect warm weather daytime scent.

I liked this one right away. Very soft, clean, a bit soapy as some have said but pleasantly so. The green apple is most prominent to my nose, followed by an ambiguous flower (pink tulip maybe), but it’s well-blended and no note is too strong. Longevity on me is not great, unfortunately, especially given the price and the small bottle. Within minutes, all I get is powdery heliotrope which is beautiful but only lasts for about an hour on my skin. I have yet to try it on clothes. Really hoping I can get a few more hours out of it!

If a Harry & David pear took a shower with zest soap, then wrapped itself in a warm towel fresh from the dryer, heady with fabric softener, it's name would be Giulietta. I blind bought this at TJs in a gift set and it has turned out to be the absolute best fragrance purchase of the last 5 years for me. This is the scent I've been wanting for eons. Something powerfully fresh but still feminine, fruity yet mature. And for it to be so affordable... I've struck gold. I only wish it lasted longer on me.

my mom got this one for me in a little sample bottle as it is literally my name and it came out the year i was born! probably my favorite and the little bottle has lasted me forever and smells the same. i may be a little bit biased but i love the smell. very fresh but also flowery (i mean, its in the notes lol) <3 doesn't last very long...like at all, thats my only complaint. but the smell is something special to me, and others have said it smells really good! i think it depends on who wears it :)

This is probably one of my most complimented perfumes! It never fails! I feel so classy & chic wearing this! Has become an easy favorite. I mostly get the pink tulips and green apple in this. Not really any vanilla. This one lasts quite a long time on me. I smelled this on a beautiful woman (co-worker) once and had to get the name of it. This is a soft, spring/summer, day-time scent, but, you can def pull it off year round though. Out of all of the Tocca fragrances, this one is my favorite.

I wore this perfume on my wedding day, and every time I smell it, I’m transported right back to that moment. The warmth of the spring sun, the joy in my heart, the overwhelming love all around me. It’s delicate, innocent, and so softly feminine. There’s a feeling of purity here. While I do wish it had stronger projection and longevity, its beauty more than makes up for it. This fragrance will always be tied to one of the most cherished moments of my life, and for that, I love it.

The perfect scent to pay homage to the amazing actress Giulietta Masina. This reminds me of a soap you might find on a counter of a mature classy woman’s bathroom sink. One that’s carved into some kind of intricate flower. This one’s for a woman who’s comfortable in her own skin. She’s not one to follow trends or try too hard to get noticed. Really well blended, but a little too short lived if I’m being honest. *Check out La Strada or Nights of Cabiria,

This scent reminds me of springtime in San Jose California. Its the first thing I thought of, and though not in the notes, I smell coconut very faintly. Wonderful fresh floral scent for a crisp spring day, I find the drydown not as powdery as some people say. It doesnt smell good on everyones skin chemistry but I find it sits very well on my skin. It smells like a luxurious bath in the springtime with your windows wide open letting in crisp floral air.

There's something comforting about this fragrance, the apple, delicious balance of fruity, floral and ever so slightly spicy, I can't stop sniffing it on my skin. I have this in the dry oil as well - get less of the apple note from the oil. Don't keep applying or use too much or it takes on a stronger deodorant type scent. I have the miniature bottle in the fragrance and on the fence whether or not I'll buy a full size once this runs out.

My favourite scent of all time. It smells like you just got out of the shower. It’s a light and refreshing crisp, sweet green apple with delicate florals. It lasts ages on my skin and I get so many compliments from both men and women when I wear it. The bottle is beautiful as well which is a plus. I have two 10ml bottles and am about to run out of a 30ml, so I am absolutely going to splurge on the 100ml bottle when I run out!

My first perfume. My first signature scent. My wedding scent. I will forever love Giulietta, it holds a special place in my heart. This perfume is fresh, clean, and easy. It's not an overpowering floral but a bright, cheerful one that invites one in to sniff closer. A delicate, beautiful, feminine scent. Springtime flowers, green gardens, and bright sunshine in a bottle. Perfectly pairs with your favourite floral sundress.

I wish this lasted longer...it opens a fresh shampoo-ey spring floral and has the only musk that has ever smelled THAT good on my skin, like what the OG Jovan and Body Shop white musk always smelled like on other people, but on my skin. Most clean musks turn on my skin into something bitter and rancid, but this is just DIVINE. Too bad it only sticks around for about 2 hours before disappearing.

Omg! I just received a sample of this in the mail. It makes up for all of the previous samples I wasted my money on. This is like luxurious soap with a hint of musk and angel dust sweetness. This isnt a GOURMAND fruity. I cant smell any fruit but this is Queen of Egypt good. This is elevated laundry detergent in a good way. This is clean heaven! The dry down is a soft 5 star hotel white soap.

I got Giulietta through Scentbird during the winter. It is a pretty fruity floral that I think will be better suited to warm weather. Both of the Tocca scents that I've tried are uplifting, and office-safe, and seem to be made of good quality stuff -- no sharp alcohol or fake sugar. For me, Guilietta isn't quite as special, nor as long lasting, as Florence.

it smells so good it reminds me slightly of the head and shoulders green apple shampoo lol but is a perfume with more depth and beautiful layers of iris and cedar. smells so clean, like its one of those scents where you'd take shower do your whole routine and this is the finishing product that makes you 100% clean. I will be buying a larger bottle!

I absolutely love this fragrance it is one of my favorites. It has a subtle sweet smell to it and isn't overpoweringly floral like a lot of perfumes. I can smell the green apple and a hint of lilac. My only wish is that it would last longer. Its an expensive perfume and having to reapply more makes the bottle not last as long as I would like.

So fresh and classy. Expensive powder smell. I only get a hint of green apple and lots of beautiful lilac. Very light and inoffensive. Perfect for work, bed time, everyday. I wouldn't wear it for a party or night out because it is a little light. The sandalwood shines in the dry down on me.

This was my bridal fragrance. It was recommended to me by a Sephora employee and I'm so glad she did. It's a light feminine scent that doesn't project very far and is pleasant when you're interacting closely with guests. This fragrance is still my go-to when I need something gentle.

(Just fyi: I feel like the splash bottle makes this smell way more like soap than the spray. Not sure why that is. So if you can and prefer the apple and floral scent, buy the spray option [unless you want the soapier smell].)

Giulietta is so nostalgic to me, either for my childhood or a life I don’t entirely recall. She’s the 5am sunrise painted pink, fizzing hope. So soapy and clean yet living a life messy.

It's weird but I find the scent more pleasant when worn during the colder months!! It's so nice and comforting and stays really long on clothes ❤️

Loud fresh lilac with a bite of tart green apple in a sweet powdery base. Spiky and comforting. Not vanilla.

This is definitely blind buy worthy. Perfect for airplanes and close contact.

First Impressions: (Sort of) When I went to Sephora this one stood out to me. I was like OOooo this is a lovely granny smith apple scent that reminds me or shampoo or soap. However, today I bought a small bottle of it and for some reason on paper I don't get that apple scent. Did they reformulate it, and I got an old batch? Or did I mistake this one for something else hmm. That lilac is definitely lilacing, and I didn't smell any apple in the travel size I bought from amazon. It does give me a motherly or grandmotherly femininity to it. I can't put this on skin because I'm wearing perfume right now. However, I will test it soon later. Edit: Okay this is too powdery for my liking. Not sure if I’m a big fan of lilac since some people I know smell it as paint thinner in a way. Caress pink bar soap? Edit 2: Oh yeah this is for people who love caress bar soap the pink version! No wonder I thought this smells like an old grandmotherly femininity. Definitely! If you want to smell like that try this! Edit 3: On my skin I’m in love. It’s just the right amount of powdery goodness that it’s comforting. Considering that there’s body care that smells like this, and it’s affordable. I definitely will be buying this, along with the other stuff. Verdict- full bottle worthy. Edit 4: I've already used over half of the bottle. Does anyone know if Tocca is geared toward middle school, high school girl to early college women? That's why they watered the fragrance, and it doesn't last long at all. I feel that this perfume doesn't have enough edge for me, and is being overly polite. I really really liked this perfume, but I can barely smell it when I walk out of the door. Edit 5: Summary: Smells like: Exactly like Caress pink bar soap Family of: Apple Fresh Sillage: Severely Intimate Verdict- pass. This is more intimate than my clean smelling other fragrances. Noa cacharel is more strong than this on my skin. So after finishing this travel size I’m not repurchasing.

Giulietta is another youthful floral-fruity from Tocca. Fresh and sweet, it is pleasant throughout, but is ultimately underwhelming and quite juvenile. It is of its era; the apple note is reminiscent of DKNY Be Delicious - a noughties time capsule - and the sweet, musky florals are very much in keeping with the style of that time too. Giulietta opens with a bright, crisp apple note, surprisingly realistic and fresh. It becomes sweet as it progresses, with thin, nondescript white florals developing on my skin, and perhaps some peony. Initially soapy and quite shampoo-like, the floral-fruity accord is sweetly synthetic here. As it develops, the florals become more corporeal and Giulietta improves somewhat. I get sweet cherry blossom, girlish and fruity, rounded out by powdery rose and iris. Hazy, almond-like heliotrope follows, complementing the cherry blossom and powdery notes. It is one part cherry pie, one part flavoured make-up aimed at teens, with a dash of floral shampoo thrown in. It is primarily sweet and powdery here. It becomes musky as it dries down, with woody notes creeping in as it fades. The heliotrope persists until final fade, hazy, sweet and pleasant. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Pleasant and feminine, Giulietta is a pretty, youthful spring/summer perfume. I love powdery scents in general, so I quite enjoyed this take on a sweet scent. Lighthearted and frivolous, it is not to be taken too seriously. 3/5.

Tocca Giulietta - This one makes me happy on the first spray, it a sweet fruity natural floral brightness. Daytime spring/summer. It makes sense to be a Tocca flanker. It would make a good candle scent. There's a slight waxy soapy note, but It's not as soapy at Altier Colognes. I usually like iris scents so that's probably the main note I like. The apple doesn't stand out, but that's probably the note that makes it sweet and fruity. I usually dislike or hate yellow florals, but this one of very nice. The ylang-ylang doesn't stand out to me, which is a good thing BC I really dislike that note. I like it but I probably wouldn't buy it, but I might consider keeping it if gifted and was a small bottle. It'd be a nice daytime perfume for running around errands on the weekend. Its too bright to be a bedtime perfume. I think it's overpriced, like most Tocca perfumes. Silage is about arms length and I think the longevity might be short. Really femme and would be good for women 15+ without it being an artificial teeny bopper scent, it's just that a wide range of ages would like it.
