Liliana

Such a lovely fragrance. Sparkling, young and free florals will draw you into a ridiculous daydream - and you won't even mind. I absolutely loved this and would wear it in the summer to feel pretty when I went out for walks by the ocean. Unfortunately had to give away my small bottle as it gave me a bit of a headache. Not because it's too strong, but because it just disagreed with me, I suppose. I am very headache-prone, so I don't think it's the perfume's fault. Luckily I found a new home for it: gave the almost full bottle to a friend who was visiting from overseas. She LOVED it and exclaimed "oh, wow! This will be my 'traveling Canada' fragrance, and I'll remember the great times I had here every time I wear this." If you wear Liliana, you will easily begin to form new memories around it. While it's not groundbreaking, it is oh so pretty and will give you good feelings while you wear it.

Boy do I feel bad for misjudging Tocca! I've known about the brand for a while now, but dismissed them because the bottles suggested they were "old lady" perfumes. I received a sample of this, and I'm in love. I know the word 'lush' keeps popping up to describe this fragrance, but it truly is the embodiment of lush. It's a sparkling slightly fruity-floral that is perfect for spring/summer. In a way, it reminds me of Coach Poppy Blossom, but this is definitely more floral. The dry down stays true to the initial lushness, it doesn't turn musky or vanilla-y. Though this is light and fun, you'll only need 2 or 3 sprays tops, too much can overwhelm. I only have my little sample now, but this is a must-buy item for me. I hope Tocca brings out a body care collection for Lilianna, a cooling body mist would be perfect! All in all, I'd give this scent 9 out of 10 stars.

Pretty, fresh fruity yellow floral ingenue scent!! I have a few Tocca scents that I love--Stella is still my favorite--I wear the hair fragrance as an eau fraiche and fab the EDP on pulse points--like walking through a Tuscan orange grove on a warm day. Also Florence--green bergamot gardenia--sweet floral but not overwhelming --Maya--berry/Iris/fruitchouli--a fall fave--and Gia--crisp tangerine rose--lovely! I have Giullietta --not a fav--too pastel and insipid--and I recently got some Cleopatra but haven't worn it yet. This fragrance is very girlish and spring garden to me--I'm actually way too old for it--but I will always love the way this kind of scent makes me feel--optimistic--safe--and pretty--pretty is the key word!!

I guess this fragrance will always remind me of spring of 2013 when Baz Lurhmann's " the great Gatsby" film premiered. I remember buying the rollerball from Sephora because I was interested after reading the description of the fragrance. I loved the idea that this fragrance was inspired by the roaring 20s in the spring, amidst A cocktail party at a wealthy estate. I can smell the gardenia, peach, Lily, and gentle mosques floating through this fragrance. Ultimately, it makes me feel so feminine. I remember going outside with my Zelda Fitzgerald book and smelling wafts of this fragrance on my skin while reading nostalgically about Ms. Fitzgerald's life.

A nicely-balanced floral fragrance with some hints of fruits, light sweetness, and a great combination of mild base notes that makes this a sophisticated fragrance. The more I smell this, the more I like it. In fact, as it dries down, it's starting to remind me of my signature scent, Proenza Schouler Arizona, even though I only see one shared note (and the top notes are for sure different). Liliana smells like an adventurous, fun-loving woman enjoying a sightseeing journey around Italy. All in all, I recommend, especially to anyone who usually finds floral fragrances too strong. This is pleasant and complex without being overwhelming.

This perfume is good quality, and opens nicely on my skin. At first is a burst of champagne like peach, orange blossom and bergamot, adding a fizziness to the composition. Then unfolds into the heart the beautiful lily, peony and gardenia lushness. Similar to Vera Wang Sheer Veil, this fragrance stays truly floral to the end. I don't get any benzoin or vanilla, but rather a nice clean floral dry down. Again, similar in vein to the Vera Wang collection, and also a bit similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy. Lasting power is long on my skin.

A feminine fizzy peach scent for summer. This has Beautiful floral notes as well. It smells as if you are at some sort of garden party. Women dressed in fancy clothes have flowers in their hair that smell fragrant and sweet. They are carrying around champagne with fresh peach slices on the glass. It’s perfect for summer. Fresh, crisp, fizzy peach loveliness.

I got this perfume as a sample in a Sephora order. I tired it on and loved it. This lasts FOREVER! Through working as a pool server in summer in Tucson, through a day of shopping, though sex. It such a nice fruity, floral, clean scent. Defiantly in my top 3!

This is one of my favorites! It makes me happy and brings my mood up just by smelling it. I find it has longer staying power and keeps the light airy brightness better if you spray some on your clothes. Beautiful elegant scent for any age group.

this perfume is so pleasant and lovely. i get light citrus and springy freshness from it, and i agree that it is kind of reminiscent of watermelon, maybe like watermelon rinds. i also get a comforting warmth from this as well <3

Love the fresh, subtle scent of white florals. A very light perfume but does not seem to last long on my end which is unfortunate. Perfect for layering as using it as a base.One of my fav perfumes by Tocca so far

I got the watermelon too. This scent is safe, good for everyday: going for a date, meeting a friend, going to a party, to school and to office. Simple, soft, easy, sweet, unintrusive. Just like a fresh grad from the Art fac, she not polluted by the society and the game (yet), though not naive. She's fine educated. She's optimistic, she's ready to explore, she's friendly, and people likes her too. I find it smells a bit familiar to Cleopatra, so should I say they are of the same kind? However, Cleopatra is a bit to the sensual side in my opinion. If Lilian is an art history or literature researcher, Cleopatra is the secretary of some manager or a negotiator in an MNC - she knows where her power and strength lies. I like it, but it's also a nothing special perfume in my opinion. Good to have it at home, for cases where I know not what to wear, when I'm stressed and tired, or when I want to smell something to lift up my mood.

I just bought this as my daughter's birthday gift. It has her name and I just could not resist. The perfume itself is young and fresh. A little herbal, aquatic and spring like in its initial phase. Very pretty and innocent. However, peony and my skin never got along. And so begins the loud, screechy, white floral temper tantrum: I'm here, do not ignore me, I'm in your face. Do you know I'm here?... Very tiresome. I've smelled awesome peony fragrances on other people, but never on myself. I think (hope) it will smell great on my daughter. Ps: for those old enough to remember, it smells akin to Timotei shampoo, which I loved back in the day ('70's, '80's flashback anyone?) Indeed, perfect for all the younger souls who wish to exhude the charm that only youth can project.

Such a clean, lotiony scent. Love that I can wear this at work without smelling "perfumey" as it smells like high-end body care products to me. Definitely a white floral lead with some traces of the fruit listed, but they don't overpower or oversweeten the lovely floral. I second the comparison to Happy In Bloom. To me, this is a bit more subtle. Update: I wore this in the heat of summer and it was a mistake. It was cloying and quite sickly. I was worried at the time that my bottle was off. Back in cooler temps and gave it a go yesterday and it's the lovely scent I rember again.

This is such an adorable perfume. I had Reece's In Bloom and while it is in the same family this one is much nicer. I can't imagine anyone finding this one offensive. It's as soft gentle and feminine as they come. I purchased this as a blind buy off the TJ Maxx clearance shelf. I will be traveling with this one. Love it. I do love all the Tocca bottles. They are stout little buggers with fabulous heavy caps.

Fresh, green, effervescent. Liliana is a fun-loving girl who loves sunshine and daydreams. The peach, bergamot, and neroli come through the most for me. Longevity and sillage are moderate, as is common for most of the Tocca lineup. This is a fun, happy, daytime, summer scent. Not extraordinary, but pretty and people-pleasing.

A haze of blanche: gardenia blooms, lily of the valley buttons, bubbly white peony, an emulsion of soft neroli all tied together with a single white peach gives one a haze of blanche in the warmest of flower fields. Somewhere to rest your soft head and inhale a breeze these flowers dance on.

This is pretty but the scent is quite faint. I have to bring my wrist right up to my nose to detect it. It is very close to Avon's collab with Reese Witherspoon called In Bloom, except in bloom is much stronger. Smells like peach iced tea in the full heat of summer.

this is so nostalgic and smells exactly like showering in between beach and dinner in the height of summer. showing up to dinner with still wet hair and sunburnt cheeks. it makes me feel like i’m 7 but in a good way. so clean and fresh.

It's really fresh and beautiful, lemony, peachy and zesty. Only problem is it has the worst staying power I've encountered in a long time. It lasts like 10 mins that's it. Something to keep in mind if you want to buy it.

My grandma bought me this, and I haven't worn it much. I do really like the smell (it kind of reminds me of Chloe by Chloe) but it is a little strong. It's a very light, fresh perfume, which I like a lot.

pleasant and bright fresh floral, nothing special. although on me sometimes it gets sweet in a way that’s a bit...sticky? not sure what it is but sometimes i catch a whiff of something raisin-y

A light peachy floral. The gardenia is pretty noticeable on me. Smells very reminiscent of Kat Von D Saint (the new one, anyways). Probably slightly better performance that KVD Saint.

My favourite fragrance from Tocca. I can wear it to any event, any day. So beautifully versatile. Wish it lasted longer though. One of the first fragrances that I've ever finished.

This is a nice, light floral and citrus fragrance that I occasionally wear on a spring or summer day. Very juicy on first spray.

When sprayed on the skin, at least on mine, it smells great, but on clothes it smells like bathroom spray for some reason :(

Lilliana has a creamy soft french soap vibe to me. You can smell some sweetness but its not a gourmand. The sweetness is coming from some fruity aspect possibly the peach. I do not get citrus from this, rather florals and smooth peach. I also get some ylang ylang, banana, frangiapani, gardenia vibes from it. But only gardenia is mentioned in the notes. I think the way its been blended reminds me of the other Tocca fragrance Guillietta which also smells like a creamy French soap. I think its pretty and soft and gives me outdoor wedding/bridal shower feels. Its not a sexy perfume or eveningish really. I find it too creamy and outdoor garden wedding like for an office perfume or to be worn to the bar. This is just too Jane Austin for me.

Fresh, juicy, sweet, young, pretty, elegant, summery. I would say that it smells like a daytime garden party in late spring or early summer, with sparkling champagne, lemonade and fresh fruits - mixed with the natural scents of the garden. Unlike a lot of floral-fruity fragrances, this one doesn't smell synthetic to me. I like it, but don't love it.

Skyblue effervescent fresh, crisp, aquatic, beach sports From bergamot through peony to cinnamon

I was SO excited to try this fragrance as I have never tried a perfume with peach to it, and I'm a big fan of both Bergamot and Sandalwood. The good things about Liliana: it has okay staying power and is strong enough that you can properly smell it on yourself. After about 1hr or so of wear time it is a nice, bright floral, not too powdery with a little bit of sweetness. However, I do not see myself wearing this scent again because the way that it smells (on me) immediately after I spray it on made both me and my friend gag. Smelling it and taking in a breath gives the nice notes of peach, very fizzy and lively. But once you've taken in that breath and it moves past your mouth there is this absolutely awful taste (my friend called it bad celery). I'm a fan of green/herby scents! But this was grassy in a way that was so off-putting and makes the fragrance not worth it. So sad, because after this effect goes away the initial peach is so pleasant, but the lingering floral notes of the middle and end are simply not special enough for me to deal with the grass-in-mouth moments. I would say to be wary about this scent, but def try with your own body chemistry if you really want to see a peachy perfume.

Intrigued by the notes, pretty bottle and very pretty name, I tried this. It smells like a super sweet generic celeb fruity floral on me, nice, pretty, romantic smelling, no hidden depths. If this perfume was a woman, I'd imagine her to be in need of lots of attention and constant reassurance that she was pretty. In other words it goes on and on on my skin and is a little too sickly. Too much! I'll keep trying the Tocca line, not giving up just yet, there must be one for me in amongst those pretty bottles!

Very strong peachy-bergamot neroli opening blast which develops quickly into a waxy cloying somewhat subdued gardenia/lily of the valley combo that clings to a sticky benzoin/musk base. My skin magnifies the stale patchouli. Sandalwood is barely discernible. On me, this is neither fresh nor clean. It lingers as a waxy cloying floral atop a sticky and not-particularly deep animalic/earthy base. Wood is negligible on my skin. Meh.....

After re-testing my rather large sample, I'm sad to say it just smells a bit off to me, sort of chemically sweetened, or something. It's not a bad fragrance by any means, but it just felt like I was somewhat shorted in hoping to find a realistic, floral/green perfume. Definitely fresh, and sweet though, perfect for summer, just not on my skin.

I have tried to find a Tocca scent to try, really I have. Every one of their feminine moniker-titled fragrances have I sampled. I will have to say, of all their offerings, I like this scent the least. Essence of celery!!! Dry and sour, like old champagne--without the fizz and sparkle.

Not a fan of it, as much as I really want to like it. The fruity notes come in, but there is this smell that is like rubber. It smells like your rubber hair ties. It also ends up smelling like a generic lotion.

My first impression of Tocca Liliana was of floral with a very light amount of powder. The floral was so instantaneous and upfront that initially I didn't really get anything else, but then the citrus started to come in and I got a lot of floral and citrus for the first little while before it started to dry down a little and then I got this very fresh scent that lingered for quite a while. As the fragrance really began to die down I caught some hints of sandalwood and some very light hints of patchouli. There was again some slight scent of powder. I could almost say a powdery sandalwood of sorts. It was only after I wore it a few times that I was able to pull any peach from the top notes; because, for me, it seemed to almost hide behind the citrus and the floral and it was something I had to seek out, but now as I’m getting closer to the end of my sample bottle as soon as I put it on I’m able to pick out the peach. To me, this fragrance is very feminine and almost dainty. It’s something that brings to mind light colored dresses and lace, of walks in the park during the spring, and perhaps the innocence of youth. The fresh scent that develops over a little time feels a little more appropriate for warm spring days or cooler summer days. I kind of think that the light charm of this fragrance would be almost lost in the high heat of late summer. Liliana is an unobtrusive and safe scent that could probably be worn in most situations. I can’t see many people being offended by it. This fragrance seems to last about three hours on my skin before I can’t detect it anymore and have to reapply. Personally, it’s not a fragrance I would buy for myself, but for people who really enjoy a nice mix of citrus, floral, and light freshness, this would be a good one to look at.

Tocca perfumes always impressed me with their lovely and unique compositions, so I had high expectations for Lilian. In this light, I find that Liliana is a bit disappointing to me. It is girly, light and easy-to-wear fruity floral, but there is a slight synthetic edge to the floral notes and the composition is not as polished as their other scents. On a positive side, the scent is soft, feminine and gentle with an abstract floral bouquet that will not offend anyone or cause allergies. It works great for everyday activities and work place. A bit underwhelming, but totally safe and friendly. What I love the most about this scent is the peach opening. It lasts only a few minutes, but, as long as it lasts, I really enjoy sparkly, sweet and bright bubblegum-like peach cloud. Many other reviewers mentioned gardenia as a central note but on my skin this is a big bouquet of peonies with just a touch of lily-of-the-valley. I do smell a bit of gardenia but more as a background layer. Patchouli is noticeable too in the heart notes but unfortunately it does not flow into the base. The base notes are rather boring, as the fragrance turns into a generic, synthetic floral scent that does not have much substance. I don’t mind wearing this scent, but I would not be acquiring a bull bottle after my sample runs out. I already have tons of perfumes in my collection which remind me of this perfume. Overall score 6/10

Tocca's Liliana is a very pretty, well composed fruity floral. It has a lovely Spring vibe and has the all too familiar Tocca freshness, which fans of the brand would understand. Peach is the most dominant note in Liliana, followed by citrusy, green bergamot, tart peony and lily of the valley. What I love most about Tocca fragrances is their authentic, dew-kissed interpretation of popular floral accords. Almost every single floral they produce smells like a garden of flowers. Liliana is no exception. Liliana is feminine and relaxed, like a young woman in a yellow sun dress dancing through a field of flowers. On the porch of her white weatherboard house sits a jug of peach fizz, ready to be enjoyed with a few cubes of ice. The drydown is all about the musk, sandalwood and the remnants of peach. At times this perfume smells vaguely of a fruit laden shampoo, which only adds to its appeal. Liliana is an all-round crowd pleaser for the most part. The sillage and longevity is also rather impressive, lasting a good six hours on my skin. If a fan of other Tocca scents such as Stella, Florence and Giulietta you'll most likely enjoy wearing Tocca's Liliana too.

Tocca Liliana seems like a close cousin to Florence, probably because of the sweet gardenia. This composition seems a bit less strident than Florence, which I have found overwhelming in some circumstances. I would say that Liliana is more fruity-floral than floral--definitely rather sweet--and the floral aspect is mainly the abstract version of gardenia used in many mainstream fragrances. I have a mini of this perfume from a coffret, but I will not be purchasing a large bottle. Definitely a try before you buy, given the sweetness and the potent and abstract gardenia. I do not personally find this scent very enjoyable to wear, but it seems to fit right in with much of what is being offered by the design houses these days. As people's concept of perfume continues to evolve with changes in the industry, I'm sure that there will be consumers who find this juice appealing.

My favorite watermelon perfume. Why isn't watermelon listed? Really fresh. Smells like clean hair and watermelon, like high end soap and lotion. Liliana is such a polite, demure fragrance, unless you wear it in the heat (to me that means 90° F and up). In the heat it smells like peach and watermelon candy or like a hot sidewalk where someone dropped a popsicle. But in the spring or indoors, this is wonderful. Especially great for being in a group of other women. This is a ladies' lunch or bridal shower perfume. Not the least bit going for that siren factor. Pairs well with eyelet dresses, peach lipstick, teatime, reading Victoria magazine.

This fragrance is SO sweet and sharp, it’s overwhelming for me. It also smells almost identical to Nollie by PAC sun. I know this because one of my best friends used to wear it to the club I worked at and it triggered a scent memory of those times. As for an actual review- it’s a great scent for a party or celebration of any kind, it’s a fun scent but also very young.. it isn’t a refined elegant fragrance by any means and I’m not surprised it’s been discontinued. All shade aside, I believe that if worn in the right person it would work beautifully... I’m not the right person.

I know it's not in the notes, but this has a very sweet and fresh watermelon quality to it. Do not be mistaken, I don't mean that abrasive, sharp candy watermelon note some cheaper perfumes or body sprays may have, I mean a natural, mild, juicy grassy sweet slice of fresh melon, mixed with lily of the valley, and gardenia. That's how it smells to me, anyways. This is my favorite of all their scents, and it upsets me that it's one of their more discontinued ones (As in, they no longer carry it in all products such as the hair perfume), as it's so unique. Forever a favorite.

Liliana reminds me a little bit of Bath and Body Works "Hello Beautiful" in case anyone is searching for a similar scent. Liliana is a bit softer, and more of a yellow floral leaning toward a daisy type scent, whereas Hello Beautiful is a bit sharper and a bit more green with the gardenia and jasmine most prominent. That said, I think Hello Beautiful and Liliana share a similar DNA - and they do share similar notes (gardenia, peony, jasmine as well as pomelo/bergamot, peach/nectarine).

I see the Watermelon mentioned, altho light. I see the likeness with Happy in Bloom. But this is NO where as good as happy in Bloom & not enough Watermelon or sweetness for me to even like it. I just bought the travel .15 ml Spray. Thank Goodness. I wouldn't blind buy this. I love MANY perfumes & I'm a hoarder (lol), but not with it on this one. Nope! *Scrubbed* Off an hour later......

There’s a very surreal vegetarian tea-party thing going on with Liliana. Opens with pretty peaches and juicy florals, then turns to watermelon curry. After an hour or so, settles to woods and canned spinach liquid in personal space, and leaves a smudge lemon curd on the skin the next morning. The vibe actually works, in a foodie in Fluevog witch boots kind of way.

Beautiful, beautiful scent. Another favorite of mine in the warm months. It has a soft floral Tangerine smell I love. I have the rollerball and reapply it often over my poppy coach blossom scent that I left the house in and it is a nice combo. Very happy with this scent so I bought the big bottle. Am looking forward to using the big bottle next.

I normally love Tocca fragrances, but I have to say I'm a little underwhelmed by this one. It is delicate, sweet and fresh, but I find the peach note a bit synthetic, and I don't get any citrus at all. The sillage and longevity are also not great, a skin scent which lasts barely two hours on my skin. Nice, but nothing special in my book.

Does anyone else smell vanilla in this? It's not in the note pyramid but I smell something reminiscent of a vanilla sugar cookie. I only get this when it's on my skin, not on the paper blotter. Regardless, this is a lovely fresh scent, not at all like typical peach scents. Going on my wish list.

The perfume caught my attention because it has my name, so I got a sample, & I honestly fell in love, it is such a pleasant scent. And I seriously misjudged the bottle by thinking it was going to smell old lady-ish. But it smells amazing nonetheless :)
