Awaken Within No. 02

Very plain and not promising opening! I am wearing it in a very hot and humid day in London. Half an hour after application this fragrance turns into one of the most creamiest velvety white flower concotion. A bit like modern Fracas. Longevity and sillage outstanding.i am loving it!

The dry down is so different from the beginning that it almost feels warm and balsamic unlike the fresh opening. I know that lots of people like this in summer but it goes well in winter too. Can be suffocating in small spaces even with 2 sprays.

On me the opening and middle notes of this have the feel of a sweet tuberose that I'm in love with. It then slides in a sweet orange note and what I perceive as tuberose begins to fade (I cry a bit here). It's very floral in the beginning & middle, a comfortable floral, not hard to wear. Think a bit like Madonnas Truth or Dare mellowed. The sort of waxy feel some flowers (like jasmine and citrus blossoms) have on the edge of their scent is present. Maybe that's what reminds Nighty Night of wetsuits lol. I've smelled beach wetsuits and can say they smell much much worse than this. I don't think of the beach at all, but I quickly decided I needed a full bottle.

Notes: Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Neroli, Citrus & Sky I'm not usually into florals but I think the notes work really together. I don't know what "sky" is supposed to be, but I will say that it is a very airy fragrance, in that it's very light and non-offensive. I think this is the kind of scent that will smell the same/very similar on most people regardless of body chemistry and natural smell. I'd say it's more of a daytime scent for spring and summer.

Perfect for everyday. It is not too strong. Upon spraying, the jasmine and orange blossom are mostly what I smell. Then I get the clean and soapy scent on me with just a hint of floral. If it stayed strongly floral for a long time, I wouldn’t have liked this fragrance as much. Lasts about 4 hrs on me.

Beautiful heady neroli/orange blossom scent. In aromatherapy neroli is said to be uplifting and antidepressant. This captures that brightness and lasts. After a couple hours it does get soapy. It kind of reminds me of the sticky scent of liquid antibacterial handsoap before it gets wet.

I get a slight coconuty vive (coconut water not milky) and clean white flower, the Neroli keeps the Jasmine clean and a touch of sweetness with the Orange Blossom, I was afraid it will be Old Lady-ish, but it's lighter than that. Pretty is the word that comes to mt mind with that scent.

This is such a strange scent to me - I go from liking it to not really being sure I like it at all. It is both familiar and yet not. I get a honey note but there's no honey in it. There's something in this combination of notes that makes it just odd to me. It must be the ozonic, I can't pinpoint it. Sometimes I get orange, sometimes jasmine, other times I catch a whiff of the neroli, but then there's this sharp greenness to it and then a warmth as well. Perplexing is a good word for it.

Pure, citrusy orange on me. It's clean and very sharp, verging on screechy. It does slightly mellow out after an hour or so, but it's still decidely orange on me. It's okay on it's own (it's a really nice hot weather scent), but I vastly prefer to layer it with scents that are otherwise too sweet or heavy. I especially love pairing it with anything I find too sickeningly sweet.

Out of all the perfumes I ordered from Margo Elena (all blind buys), this was the one I was most eager to experience in the package. This was also the most disappointing. While I am not a fan of many perfumes described as white floral, I love orange blossom and neroli. Perfume jasmine NEVER smells like actual jasmine, but as long as it had the other notes, I was willing to take a chance. What I didn't expect was the overpowering scent of tuberose, which I discovered that I dislike. I really don't smell any of the accords mentioned except tuberose. Blech.

Looking at the notes I knew I would not be thrilled with that one, and I was right. The moment I put it on I thought of a child saying ''Look Mom, I wear perfume!'' It was so typical generic perfume. Then the notes unfolded, jasmine, orange blossom and...sky. I don't know what is it, but it smell very summery and sunshiny and a bit creamy (?). Awaken Within is very beachy... but not in a nice way, more like the smell of a wetsuit in the sun. The drydown is nicer though. It's exactly the notes listed, no surprise here.

This is a weak cucumber water scent. I suppose you can call cucumber "unisex", but I find this incredibly boring. I can't wait to finish the bottle and use something that smells interesting. Thankfully, this is not a floral scent, otherwise I'd have thrown it away. The scent isn't even strong enough to use as a room spray. FYI: my favorite scent is "Oddity", so you might see why Awaken Within No. 02 Tokyo Milk is a fail for me.

this is a clean/ozonic orange blossom...with a hint of something sour. i received this as an extra in a swap, normally i'd avoid because of the ozonic notes. anyway, i get a hairspray/salty cucumber/borderline urine thing going on. kind of smells like freshly shampooed hair. clean but a bit salty. not my cup of tea personally, but i can see how many would like this.

I LOVE this scent from Tokyo Milk. It is clean, bright and very citrusy! For me it starts with Orange Blossom & Neroli, then followed by the Jasmine and "Sky". My favorite scent is Neroli, so any perfume that has this I usually will adore. I'm also a Florida girl and growing up I would smell the Orange Blossoms in the air in late spring, so this scent makes me nostalgic. This perfume is a must try for those looking for a bright and happy scent!

Awaken Within is the strongest perfume out of the Light line. It is similar to Waltz 14, but much lighter and a tad more sour...however not in a bad way. Where Waltz 14 dries down to a more floral scent, Awaken Within dries to a more soapy scent. Certainly a clean vibe with this one. There is definitely a sunny feel to this fragrance. This would be perfect for an office setting.

Not a blind buy--which is hard with this fragrance house as its difficult to find. I decided to give this a try because I love orange blossom and neroli. I don't detect either in this fragrance--it is just another headache inducing white floral. Gave it to my daughter who loves gardenia and white florals. She loves it and gets many compliments.

I smell neroli more strongly than anything else. It surprises me that it's not voted higher. An almost sharp green neroli. A very innocent smell, you could easily gift a bottle of this to a child because it's so unpretentious.
