Black Widow

To my sense of smell, it hits me with a strong burst of that scarlet sage in the opening. But as it dries down you start to get more and more of that oakmoss and orange blossom. This scent in my opinion is earthy yet spicy and cozy, amazing night scent if you're walking around in colder weather. Everyone who smelled it said it smelled unisex more so than a specific gender. Overall, a good scent for only 50 bucks. Pretty safe blind buy if you like interesting mysterious earthy scents.

Interesting, earthy, cozy- but unfortunately short lived. Starts with a slightly uncomfortable blend of notes, but very quickly becomes a nice fuzzy sage. It sits in this sage stage for a little while, maybe 10 minutes, getting softer and sweeter- then transitions into oakmoss. As much as I enjoy oakmoss, I do miss the soft earthy fuzziness of the sage when it fades... I do wish it lasted longer on skin. It does have a bit more staying power on fabric, but I seem to get more oakmoss and almost no sage when i apply to fabric. I didnt know what to think of this one at first, but its definitely grown on me. Very different from the usual Margot Elena scents Ive tried- more earthy and unisex than most.

I've had my bottle sitting for a couple of years so maybe the scent profile changed. I'm getting a linear combination of soap and spicy ginger. It's very soapy with a gentle cloud of white florals. This is mainly a clean shower smell. Something you might wear to the gym. Reminds me of CK One. The scent doesn't seem to match the name and bottle concept. This is a quite mild, low-key scent that on me is a bit mossy over some pleasant orange flower, maybe muddled with something herbal. I don't know why the description calls it "wild" since I find it well-blended, soft, close the skin, and short lived. But I do like it and enjoy the necessary re-sprays.

Orange blossom and oakmoss. I find it linear. The first spritz makes this scent seem like it is going to be stronger and longer lasting than it is. I like it, but I need to be in the mood to wear it.

Opens with a burst of sage that calms down after a minute. The ylang ylang and orange blossom are hard to find for me. I think they might just be very well blended actually because the transition from the opening "scarlet" sage to the middle notes is quite noticeable. The oakmoss is the dry down and is just your typical oakmoss. Given the name, I expected something sexier or more daring. This feels very safe and inoffensive. I used one full spray on my left wrist and wear time was > 15 min. Skin scent unless you spray on your clothes.

Moss, sage, a little pine. Smells like a modern, mainstream men's cologne. Name doesn't suit the juice.

Nocturnal short order cook. Remember the guy who was the night closer at that blue-plate-special Cajun joint? He was quiet and always smelled like dish soap, the étouffée spice mix--made of dried green herbs and woody thyme--and the dusting sugar that went on the beignets. No-one ever saw him in the daylight, but everybody liked him. Black Widow has almost no projection and lasts as long as a dinner break.
