Crushed

I bought this because I have previously really enjoyed Margot Elene's Lollia line, and I wanted to try something new. First I got the shea butter hand cream as a sample, which was delightful - having this scent on your hands is GREAT, and the moisturizer itself is great quality. So I followed suit and bought the fragrance, which is the same scent, only stronger. I would say you only really need one spritz maximum to get the full scent, and it will last a long time. I find it slightly overpowering. It's definitely a good scent, full of mystery and with a strong body. I find that it holds true throughout, although after a few hours it will fade into the background - it still remains relatively the same scent with my body chemistry. I'd say it smells like a field of bluebells on an early fall day, very earthy. Moss is definitely involved, as well as water. I would agree with others that this is hugely jasmine and hugely green. It's a showier fragrance than I'm used to - I only really wear it on days off, or nights out. I wouldn't wear it to work or as an everyday fragrance, I really have to be in the mood.

I snagged this beauty at a local antique store that's got a dealer who carries a varied amount of fragrances from time to time... This is LOVELY! The jasmine and soil tincture combo marry together to give off a licorice-y type of note...The green notes are well balanced enough to not overpower the floral...I'm waiting to see if and when the oak moss shows up...As it drys down, the melding of the contemporary, non-indolic jasmine with the green notes bring on an uplifting, ray of light vibe... I am reminded of a gothic-y, dark, yin/yang scenario; it could be the positive and negative of what funeral flowers, dank earth, and emotions of sweet love and perhaps lingering regrets bring when we are faced with paying our last respects to a loved one... By the same token, the feelings of comforting transcendence from the priceless memories we treasure in times of grief also present themselves in this polarizing fragrance... ♥

I really miss this perfume and am still sad they discontinued it. This perfume is the one that got me into fragrances when I was in high school: earthy, green, and jasmine. It smells a lot like a fresh tea. The dry down is so addictive, it mixes so well with my body chemistry that I can’t stop smelling it. It’s actually one of the sweeter fragrances I own, and I don’t think I like anything sweeter than what Crushed provides. Crushed is very refreshing and has remained a favorite for 8 years. edit: it might be kinda crazy, but i bought a perfume oil dupe of tom ford's fucking fabulous and upon first sniff it was shockingly....similar? it gives a similar vibe on opening, but of course the dry down is quite different. Maybe an older cousin/sibling of crushed. No idea if this rings true for the actual perfume of fucking fabulous, but thought it wouldn't hurt to share here.

I first purchased this about 5 yrs ago in a little antique shop while on vacation. I had actually tested it the year prior at the same shop and waffled on buying it. I was determined to go back to see if it was still there and since it was, a bottle went home with me. I'm not a huge fan of the packaging but whatever, the juice is lovely. Very green, as others have stated, bitter edges, jasmine by the handful. I wear it more in sping and summer as the heat seems to open it up and it just blooms. It's a clear, intense fragrance, if that makes sense, not murky or dark to me. I decided I needed a back up bottle but prices I saw online were ridiculous compared to what I initially paid, discontinued I suppose. Tried one last time a couple months ago and lucked out. The manufacturers website had it on clearance for less than I paid. Lol. Back up acquired.

Bright, sparkling citrus over delicate green buds with a hint of milky sap. I find this fragrance to be more green than floral despite the jasmine - I don't care for jasmine in general, but I love this fragrance. Here the jasmine grows wild, surrounded by grass and moss with a sprinkling of herbs. I love green fragrances, especially the slightly bitter kind, and while Crushed does not fall into that category it is definitely green. Longevity and sillage are quite good, and I plan on buying a FB immediately. EDIT: I love this so much I purchased two full bottles along with the matching lotion, and will probably buy more in case it's discontinued! Also ordered a bottle of Sencha Bleu,which I'm looking forward to trying -
