Lotus Sake

Such an unusual combination--but this works for me. I could not stop sniffing my wrist all evening. Lovely, classy, elegant lotus without being 'boozy'. Not animalic at all on my skin, stayed true through the night.

The first time I tried it I hated it immediately, now a couple days later I sprayed again and it's not as bad as I first thought. it's a green fresh fragrance with a hint of warmth and almost a touch of subtle spice if I smell really hard. I can't smell pine, or not yucky pine anyway. It's a nice clean fresh subtle green frag, but not really my style. I'll happily finish my sample though. Uh-oh, my male colleague just came downstairs to say "did you just spray a new perfume? it smells like cat pee"......

There’s something a teeny bit yucky about the first few minutes of this I’m sorry to say. But once it dried down I really really liked it. I’m a fan of bright green scents and this does the trick! It’s fresh and a little sweet and very clean. That funny opening also is only detectable if you put your nose right on your skin. I’d say it’s worth a try!

This is a beautiful, warm fragrance. Treated myself to it as a fall scent. It last much longer sprayed on clothes, although I think this is typical of Tokyo Milk. I sprayed it on a winter coat and it smells divine after a full day.

I was intrigued in doing blind buy on this one as I envisioned it to evoke sipping plum sake near a koi pond but instead I got Christmas. Definitely one of the stronger fragrances in the Tokyo Milk line I own as I could smell it for hours without out even trying and gave me a bit of a headache. I tried to give it to my sister but it ended up with my mom. They both pointed out the pine note before me even mentioning it. Totally in love with Honey & the Moon though, I haven't found anyone who doesn't like it! Let Them Eat Cake is also nice for a layering as its a simplistic light fragrance.
