Sugar Sugar No. 52

The alcohol at the beginning can be pretty strong but settles into a nice sweet skin fragrance after that. It is a little powdery, but still very sweet. Nice layered with woody or aromatic scents. Edit: I've had this perfume sitting in a cupboard for quite a while and recently started using it before bed. It really is a lovely soft sweet scent that is straightforward and comfortable.

like others have mentioned, Sugar Sugar is like a lighter, cleaner, more sophisticated version of Warm Vanilla Sugar. hits all the same notes for me, just in a slightly different style. it's very cozy and comforting and makes me yearn for fall, but it's not too warm or heavy that it can't be worn year-round. very pretty and delicate. this would be a five star fragrance for me if only it were stronger and lasted longer. unfortunately, i have to bury my nose into my elbow ditch to get a good whiff, and now just 20 minutes in, it's almost completely gone.

I found this little perfume in TJMaxx last month. It's the most refreshing, transparent vanilla perfume I've ever experienced. Tokyo Milk Sugar Sugar is my summer vanilla which is a little warming but more on the cool side of vanilla. It feels more like brown sugar crystals with violets. Sweet but somehow refreshing. Lasts a long time on my clothing. Just a nice, easy grab fragrance that is very different from my other 200+ perfumes.

Booo....no matter how hard I press my imagination, I cannot will Sugar Sugar into smelling remotely good. I own the solid of this, and it smells a little waxy, that's all. No vanilla, no sandalwood, no nothing. The only good part is the packaging. It's all looks and no content. If I could return it I would. What a waste of five bucks. Could have got me some gummy bears with that money. Or a family-sized box of snow caps. Mmmmm...

I bought this a few weeks ago and I love it. When I first spray it, it smells like a cross between Let them eat Cake and Honey and the Moon. I guess its the coconut and vanilla from let them eat cake and the sandalwood from the Honey and the moon. It smells great and lasts a good 4 to 5 hrs on me. Its def a must have if u like sweet vanilla scents.

A few people have already said it, and it's true: This is the adult version of B&B's Warm Vanilla Sugar. They are nearly identical, except that Sugar Sugar is fresher and not so cloying. It makes for a nice daytime, work-appropriate fragrance. As I always mention on my TokyoMilk reviews, this fades far too quickly. TokyoMilk always does.

I love this quirky line! I bought a bunch of their solid perfumes for all of my nieces. They all smell wonderful, and the packaging + presentation is very cool! Great fragrances for a great price. I will certainly collect more for myself next time I see them!

Jacquis right below me is so right; there IS a pronounced violet accord in this perfume. Kind of white floral to me too. It's wonderful, truly a floral gourmand. I got this at TJ Maxx for $7.99, and it would have been worth quite a bit more.

This is a lovely vanilla scent, but unfortunately is completely gone after an hour and a half.

Really sweet, had to get rid of it. I loved it in the store but as soon as I brought it home, it was unwearable. I guess it mixes well with other smells because on it's own it's very sugary. Definitely would be at home with the numerous gourmand fragrances marketed towards teen girls.

Gourmand and sweet, very similar to Let Them Eat Cake.

Notes: Coconut Milk, Vanilla Absolute, Sandalwood, Basmati Rice I do like Sugar Sugar (in fact I bought 2 of them) but the staying power is very weak. The scent is really great though if you love sweet vanilla stuff. It's like a lighter version of warm vanilla sugar from B&BW. Another great Tokyo Milk perfume though.

I dunno about sugar but it reminded me basically of taking a shower, using some coconut shampoo/conditioner, and the body lotion/soap you use is a sweet smelling one. Then you come out of the shower with that combo. Basically what it smells like to me. Not very sugary but nice in its own way.

I just got my bottle of this today and I love it. The noted scences are right on target. If you love oriental vaillas this is for you.
