Crushing Bloom

This was a very pleasant surprise for me, I immediately recognised a perfume style that always appeals to me - green,sparkly, elegant. I definitely notice iris and vetiver, reminding me of Chanel's 28 la Pausa, yes this is that classy! It's more contemporary than La Pausa in feel though - botanical and fresh, with a natural rose that's somehow both formidable and ladylike! Big like, love even.

What is in it for me? It is a beautiful, classic bouquet of flowers- prominent rose and lily spiced with cardamon. The citruses make it vibrant, refreshing and luminous. The overall picture is airy and light. If I were to compare it in terms of vibes, it is similar in character to Sublime Balkiss.

Crushing Bloom is heavy on the lily, and it's so realistic my nose thinks it ought to sneeze. Crushing Bloom reminds me a lot of Jour d'Hermes, but it's more intense. Crushing Bloom is a beautiful, masterfully formulated, heady-bouquet fragrance, but it's a headache inducer for me.

Don't know why I just think women from the 18th century England smell like crushing bloom 😁. I just blind bought this several weeks back and I though it was something that I will get a remarkable feeling about sadly I was disappointed by the longevity and sillage.. I have never come across a bottle like this with glorious/magnificent notes,the black pepper keeps rearing its head for the whole two to three hours it lasts on my skin and this is something I absolutely enjoy..but lasting power is very short. P. S it's very warm in these parts of the world (Lagos Nigeria), I probably should try it in the cold weather, I'd be back again to give a diff view of any.
