Magnolia Heights

Such a lovely surprise. Not sure I enjoy the aesthetic that pervades most of the Tom Daxon line - that cold, minimal, somewhat abstract, yet somewhat safe impression - but this turned out to be rather beautiful. Its a perfume that gives an experience. With good perfumes can always be the feeling of putting your nose inside a flower. This perfume does that in a wonderfully delicate way. It smells so natural. from the outset there is a juiciness that gives the impression of buds ready to burst. Its far from 'sweet fruit'. Its light, with plenty of 'space', it feels microscopic in the nicest way. The thing changes fast, with greener facets come into play, and then after a little time some filtered, restrained jasmines and gardinas. They enhance the magnolia excellently and make it more of a floral than a minimal. Overall its a delicate rendering. The whole comes off as an impressive study of the magnolia plant. I personally love this kind of scent. For others it might be too quiet, unobtrusive etc. For me, i'll keep this one on the side. One to study, to remember with. Well done 8/10

A gorgeous, easy to wear white floral. Perfectly balanced. Nothing screechy and headache inducing. It might be classed as aquatic but it is not watery at all. It's a feminine, feel good about yourself scent. The magnolia is top dog but closely followed by the other floral notes. The Perfumer has captured the beauty of the magnolia scent well. I better state that this is not the lemony scent of magnolia Grandiflora. There might be ylang and Jasmin sambac listed but they are very low key in this for which I am thankful. I've got to admit that Anais Anais did pop up into my minds eye. My memory of AA as I have not smelt it since the 90s. If you love white florals then I would strongly recommend trying this beauty. I think I was hoping the Grandiflora fragrance houses version of magnolia was going to be similar to this. I wouldn't say it develops much at all and tbh I'm very happy with that. I get moderate sillage and longevity.

Really gorgeous and airy sooo airy fresh musky softly floral magnolia&jasmine So delicate and beautiful its not a rosy citrusy unsweetened magnolia no no its a more white floral creamy jasmine and gardenia type of magnolia scent just like what i adore Still a bit citrusy or lemony but in a really balanced background way Soo gorgeous Its not particularly close to baiser volé since baiser volé is not even fresh its a pretty spicy cardamom and warm lily its soo green doesn’t seem to be my favorite compared to magnolia hights its way fresher airy soft white floral pure musc narciso type of floral still share some similarities with baiser volé but way better its like the difference between one who was lazy and never thinks about glowing up and the one who’s already brought out the best of herself For 212 nyc or pure musc narciso or bamboo gucci or even hugo boss femme lovers are gonna be amazed Don’t let the opening fool you wear it first then decide bcus yes it does smell identical and even mush sharper than baiser volé only in the opening Didn’t test the projection yet i can say the price was a little too much for me as a budget friendly scent lover even tho the scent absolutely worth it Its like a mix of hugo boss femme&pure musc narciso with hues of baiser volé and le parfum elie saab I’ll update if I figured out anything more

It smells like Cartier's Basier Vole without the grassy notes midway through to its dry down.

This is a very cool, clear green floral scent. It leans too green for my tastes, but if this sounds like something you'd like, definitely give it a try!
