Salvia Sclarea

Salvia Sclarea is very sharp and herbal. I really like the way it goes from sharp citrus (bergamot) to sweet (elemi and violet leaf). It disappears and all of a sudden I get a sniff and it reminds me it's still there. I wore it today for the first time and I already got compliments.

This has been my husbands signature scent for a while and now it’s discontinued. Anyone have a bottle they’d like to sell?

Opens very crisp, bright and clean. Elemi lends a citrusy and ginger-like accord, fusing well with the bergamot. Thankfully, the inclusion of the grass note is very subtle. The dry down remains very sweet and vegetal, with a brewing undercurrent of spiciness. I feel the mixture of heady jasmine and lavender-like clary sage in the heart is quite a master stroke. I imagine a flowering verdant hillside, basking in the mid-day sun. One of the Daxon line's stronger offerings. Very unique. (38)

now this one does capture the grass in a way - it does not smell like fresh cut grass (sweet and moist) or living grass...smells a bit like grass that has been cut for a while and dried slightly, something more towards hay itself but still owning the green aspect. With regards to the other notes, sage and jasmine are most prominent to me. Think it's an interesting offering and personally think guys would be able to rock it more than women.

I really like the opening on this. Very herbal, fresh, earthy, and green; but it dies down quickly and becomes sweet. Tom Daxon's fragrances open up with very masculine accords - but as they dry down, the sweeter more feminine unisex notes come out. I really wanted to love this - but it's not a "must have" for me.

Hard to get a handle on this one: a feminine-leaning floral fragrance that leaves me feeling strangely unmoved and even headachy. Like a person you meet at a party who is perfectly pleasant but who you would be quite happy to get away from, thank you.

This a modern fragrance that has this wonderfully grassy , wheat field smell. It's not aggressively 'look at me' at all, making it perfect to wear at work or after a workout. It does die down initially but it never disappears and you do catch a few pleasant reminders of the scent throughout the day. This a huge plus for me, If people get close, it's not overpowering. It's not obviously a perfume either. This is its greatest strength. It's just a great smell that could be an expensive shower gel, cream or some other mystery product from your grooming regiment!! It's unusual and well worth a tryout. More manly in character but it's still pretty enough to be unisex. I really like it and one of only a few Parfums I could imagine wearing everyday without encountering anyone else wearing it, which is always a good thing.

paint oils, floral (jasmine), waxy, reminds me of a museum, hint of formaldehyde, animalic (probably from the sage), herbal (sage & grass) it's weird but I like it reminds me of Tom Daxon Reverie due to the lemony-pine scent from the elemi - maybe that's also why it reminds me of being in a museum
