I would love to own this. If I had the money I would definitely buy it. It is a collector's item, and a beautiful piece of art, in my humble opinion.

This is a truly wonderful version of the original Black Orchid. The best way to describe this fragrance is that for me, it retains all my favourite elements of the original EDP, but adds a smoother quality to the sweetness whilst removing some of the animalic earthiness which some people find too much. As the highest concentration of Black Orchid, I expected the juice to be a tad more oily, but instead this applies very similar to the EDP. Yes a little goes a long way, but a slightly more oily texture would help with application. To me this just gets absorbed by the skin too quickly and I'm not really able to hit all the pulse points I'd like. Performance is great, though perhaps not matching the overall cost. It doesn't project as widely as the EDP, but it is hard to not notice the utter quality of the juice. This smells rich and lasts for at least 10 hours on my skin. The progression of each stage is slowed to a walking pace allowing the wearer to better enjoy each element of this fragrance. My experience with this juice has been a very happy one. The bottle by Lalique is simply a work of art and looks beautiful next to my 30ml bottles from other fragrances in this range. The [TF] gold tag however looks near identical to the standard in the Signature range. Whilst only a small component, this was an oversight in my mind as they could have gone with a glass or preferably quartz medallion with the TF etched onto it. My main disappointment however is the fact that despite creating such a wonderful product that costs several hundreds of pounds, I have recently been advised by Tom Ford/Estee Lauder customer service that they do not sell any form of additional refill for this Lalique bottle. So once you've used what was originally supplied, you are left with an empty albeit beautiful bottle. What do I do? I don't want to just fill it with the original EDP as I already have that in my 30ml bottle and I feel the EDP is better applied via the sprayer rather than dabbing. Do I look for a quality parfum oil to refill my bottle - not my preferred option considering most are around £10 for 20ml and having that in the Lalique bottle doesn't sit right with me. I'd be very interested in hearing if anyone has come across any Black Orchid type product where the quality surpasses the original EDP in both construction and performance.

I like the fact that TF/EL created a unique product: a Unique Lalique bottle and unique content that cannot be purchased in any other form. It is also a limited edition. This means that the limited number of bottles with a small volume of pure parfum was created as a project for collectors. Therefore, the price reflects this. I was lucky one to purchase a bottle of this from the auction at the reasonable price and it is now being shipping to me. I will add more after I will test it.

I don't think many people can get their hand on this. $990 for a 15ml bottle.
