Costa Azzurra Acqua

This smells like a niche interpretation of Bleu de Chanel EDP with a wet green twist. Up until now, BDC was the highest quality iteration of this type of scent that I had smelled. Now this is. Citrusy top (get an icy fresh and unique-ish gin feel at the top of this one), incensey cypress and mastic. The cypress is fresh beautiful and wet. The mastic is full and round. Warm, rich, and powdery amber and labdanum base. Cypress hangs on until the end. Blue green. This smells much better and more interesting than BDC. Although it 'performs' worse depending on what your goals are. Both fragrances are in my top 40 for different reasons. This one has more details when you get closer, as if you magnified BDC and found out that there was no further information upon magnification. And then brought CAA under a microscope and found a wealth of detail and information. But from across the room they didnt look totally and completely different. The gallery lit CAA with soft cypress green lighting. I do get some similarity to Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme, the cypress note is similar. Overall feel is similar too. Another lense through which I view this fragrance (which concerns concept rather than scent) is as opposed to Jardin En Mediterranee where Jardin en Mediterranee is artistic and realistic and natural and abstract and costa azzurra acqua is smoothed out and idealized, polished. Much more of a playboy than jardin en Mediterranee who is content to hang out at the rose garden or art gallery alone. Azzurra acqua wants some good looking company.

As a fan of the original Costa Azzura I was thrilled to get a sample of this. Having assumed ‘acqua’ implied lighter and softer, I applied four sprays from the sample vial before a long drive. As a result, I sat in a lush, thick, happy cloud of a humid cypress grove for three hours. CAA opens with lovely green aromatics. Juniper is most prominent, but there’s something else herbal and green. Checking the notes after testing, I can only assume this is the myrtle, with which I am unfamiliar. The cypress is there from the start but takes over the composition within half an hour. There is also a presence of pine once the juniper has faded, but much less strong and forward than the lovely cypress. Five hours later the cypress and pine, which have already started to soften, fade gracefully into the mastic that rules the drydown. I catch the barest occasional whiff of leathery spicy warmth if I hunt for it, but it’s really all about the mastic, keeping everything fresh and woodsy through the end. Ten hours after applying, the mastic is still here, and while the sillage is soft I can still smell it well above my skin. CAA, while not weaker by any means, is a fresher, woodier, more straightforward interpretation of the original CA. If you like the original, or need a summer scent that doesn’t feature calone, fruits, flowers, or citrus, I encourage you to give CAA a try :)

Have you ever driven up the coast of northern California in the summertime? Up where the really big redwoods grow. The temperature climbs into the mid nineties in mid July. After you park your car, you start walking west towards the ocean. As you tote your ice chest towards a small clearing near a cliff that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, you look back to see your partner following with a blanket and a couple of plastic cups. It's nice, you can feel the sunshine on your skin and ocean breeze. The temperature drops a few degrees, you can smell the Redwood trees you just walked through, or is that the salty driftwood in the breeze hitting you in the face? And you can smell the yellow lemons that you're now cutting in half to squeeze into your plastic cups to make some makeshift Moscow Mules because your partner thought; lemons, limes, it's all the same... Cheers! Perfect for the summer and for the gym, works wonderfully with my chemistry when I sweat... but falls flat on its face as soon as the temperature drops below room temperature.

This is very fresh, herbal, and woody when first sprayed. I adore the slight resinous undertone of the pine, cypress, and especially juniper, but I don't get tons of citrus at any point. Comparatively, Costa Azzurra is definitely warmer and woodier. The Acqua is cooler, fresher, with more citrus, whereas the regular Costa Azzurra is more of a primarily fresh spicy experience. I like this in the same way I like Molton Brown Coastal Cypress and Sea Fennel. It has a similar marine, fresh, balsam vibe without the prominent leather note that the Molton Brown has. Also, on me the Acqua lasts longer and projects better, which is not what I'd expected. In my collection, the Acqua is more unique and up my alley, frankly. It would be an absolutely perfect summer fragrance. Moral of the story - Costa Azzurra and it's Acqua are worlds apart on me. Don't assume they will be similar just because one is a flanker - test first.

Excellent, truly perfect and refined summer scent. I purchased this scent in late summer of 2019, wherefore I used it for just about one month before leaves started to fall. However, during that month, I truly liked this scent. As for the summer scents, some kind of citrus is to be expected. As well as general freshness. Where this scent excells, is the fact that somehow, it manages to combine freshness of citrus, while at the same time, it somehow manages to remain butterly smooth, a scent without any bitter or hard edges. As for performance, initially it projects well. For a summer scent. Nothing spectacular, as that would not be be expected from summer scent, but all in all, appropriate projection for this kind of scents. With respect to longevity, it lasts about 6 hours on my skin. After that, it fades to skin scent. In conclusion: Very, very good summer scent, with some little performace issues, however.

I got a chance to smell this at Sephora last week. Wow. So fresh and clean. To me this is the grown up more mature version of John Varvatos Artisan Pure. It doesn’t smell exactly like it but, it is in the same vein. If you live here in Florida this is a must. I returned to the store yesterday and bought it. I wore it all night and again this morning. So bright yet woody comes along and tames things down a bit. After wearing over several hours I can still smell this on my neck. Beautiful skin scent. I have gotten two compliments in the first day. I have no clue what a Juniper Berry smells like. I grew up around Pine Trees and know their smell very well. This has cypress up front but I smell pine in the background. The brightness of the lemon is what I think makes this so wonderful. It plays well with the woods. Amber is present but not very noticeable.

I like this, and definitely another legitimate option in the top scents for the summer. From the first two sprays I get a fresh sweet aqua sea salt experience, pushing this to into my summer rotation. The fragrance stays on my skin for over 12 hours, but only projects for five. This scent is in the realm of Creed millemise Imperial and Creed Erolfa by the note play. But it has it own uniqueness. Better than the original Costa Azzura because this is an actual experience of sea salt, sweetness, freshness moving around and going up and down. It moves. The original scent sits there and smells ok. There is a small skirmish between the notes at each whiff. In the end we are winning. Even the marketing of this product, from its name, to its packaging, suits this fragrance better.

So far, and I’ve only been wearing this for about an hour and a half to two hours, but this one seems to have a lasting power that the original did not have ironically enough. The smell is very similar to the original, but may be a bit more fresh and aromatic and so far the performances better and that’s really surprising to me how the EDT would be performing better than the other EDP which performed horribly. Anyway I’ll continue to sniff this out on my arm and see how long it goes but right now I’m at the two hour mark and it still going pretty strong after about three sprays.

I just received this today. Costa Azzurra is already one of my favorite Tom Fords (it almost makes me salivate, that’s how good it is) and now I can add this flanker to the top. To my nose it’s different enough from the original to justify having both in my collection. It smells smokier and greener than CA. Less sweet and more like dark piney resin. To me there’s very little if any “acqua” in this. It’s a mature scent for 40+, very elegant and refined (but not “dressuppy”) and leans masculine. It feels assertive and I’m very happy to welcome it to my collection. BIG LOVE!

Quite reminiscent of L`Eau Bleu D`Issey, but more laidback and easier to like. I find the performance is good, but the key is temperature. Lately we've had nice summer-climate with 25-30 degrees celsius. I think it shines in this range. Bought this a couple of years ago, but it was laid aside and never used. Until now. Rediscovering it has been a great pleasure. I made myself a decant on a small atomiser and put it in the 2021 summer-collection together with Loewe Pour Homme, Creed Original Vetiver and Goutal Eau De Monsieur. Time to start dancing again.

One of my absolute favorite scents I've owned. Which is why its performance is all the more disappointing! Super masculine, clean, summer profile. Smelling the bottle and pressing your nose against your wrist is the only way to really smell it other than the first 30 minutes of application. Mediterranean and oceanic, really quite beautiful. Discontinued now, but a truly stunning skin scent.

This is really good. Improves on the OG where the screechy metallic (cypress) note is dialed down, subsumed into the TF aquatic overlay. This genre of perfumes is crowded but I thought this was more alive than most and found myself salivating, a Pavlovian response to the juicy aromachemical cocktail. For an aquatic this had above average performance. Its a love from me. 4.5/5

This is surprisingly long lasting for an "Aqcua". I really love this scent. It is quite fresh, but also woody. On me the opening is fresh, but there is a strong woody (I believe the juniper and cypress) that lasts for a while. There is good silage and longevity. This would work for any season and I'm sure would bring out different facets of the fragrance.

I don't know why but i got a dylan blue vibe from it. It smells amazing, but like i said i got a dylan blue vibe from it to where i was like why would i want to get a full bottle of this if i have dylan blue. Its VERY well blended and it changes into something softer as it goes on. I would test it first like i did.

I think this is what MFK Fluidity Silver wants to be minus the aquatics. This is so ozonic, fizzy fresh and classy aquatic and not those nauseating aquatic blues we smell everywhere. Reminds me of those 2000s aquatics so nostalgic and timeless. Projection is weak but for its notes its expected.

Nice aquatic fragrance, reminiscent of drinking lime juice by the sunny seaside. Piney, citrusy with hints of ozonic undertones throughout its lifespan. I just with it was a bit stronger though, its drydown is more of a skin scent after three hours.

I tried this and all I can say is this will be purchased by me. it is so beautiful blended wonderfully and unique for an aquatic style fragrance. longevity was more than decent. my GF smelled this on me and automatically said WOW!

This takes me right back to the huge forest shrine in Japan called Fushimi Inari Taisha!

Miles better scent than the original. Such a bright sexy fresh perfume.

Okay, so it arrived today and upon handing it over to himself to spritz, was nearly sent flying as he leapt up out of his chair shouting "I know this! I've got this!" before grabbing at a bottle near the back of his collection and thrusting it at me. "Try it! Smell it! They're almost exactly the same!" So I did. I smelled the squirt of 'Costa Azzurra Aqua' on his left wrist and the spritz of the other one on his right wrist. He was of course, completely right. The two fragrances were almost impossible to tell apart. "Obviously I like it..." he went on. "I mean...I wouldn't own this other one if I didn't...but I don't need another aftershave that smells exactly the same as one I already own!" So whilst we both agree that it's a lovely fragrance, I won't be buying a full bottle of 'Costa Azzurra Acqua' any time soon. Not when he already has 50% left of a 90ml bottle of its fragrance twin... ...'Hugo Boss - Just Different' (no, the irony of the name was not lost on either of us, lol!). If I had to give any detectable differences between the two scents I'd say that the Hugo Boss one is ever so slightly sweeter in the dry-down, but they're both cut from exactly the same cloth. Eminently wearable male fragrances, dark aquatic in accord, with faint salt wafts in the background. The bottle design definitely works well with the fragrance 'Costa Azzurra Aqua'. A beautiful cerulean glass that looks like something you'd associate with a Mediterranean Holiday. But the scent is much more reserved and sensible than the spiel generated around it. 'Costa Azzurra Aqua' is a completely inoffensive fragrance, suitable for the office, socialising, meeting the in-laws, first date....whatever. It's nicely put together and whilst pleasant, will never set the world on fire. It's bordering on sexy, without truly crossing the line and could be worn by any males between 14 and 104. Women will probably like smelling it on a guy, once it's had time to warm up and blend with his specific body chemistry. If you really like the smell, but like bargains more than labels, get yourself a bottle of 'Hugo Boss - Just Different'. If you want to try and get someone more interesting in niche ranges, but don't want to scare them off, buy them 'Costa Azzurra Acqua' and they'll be hard pressed to find anything disagreeable in it. If you're looking to gift someone something that is beautiful to look at, whilst not being sure what kind of aftershave they wear, then 'Costa Azzurra Acqua' is perfect. Me & himself however, will carry on working our way through a bunch of other 10ml decants from Tom Ford, in what has become my mission to find him a TF that he loves. Because there's no way he can roll his eyes at my wanting to spend stupid amounts of money keeping 'Lost Cherry' in my collection, if I manage to find a Tom Ford that hooks him in, equally as hard.

The initial spray of Costa Azzurra Acqua feels like lemon and herbs. Five minutes in when it starts to settle there's lemon, pine, cypress and juniper. There's a little labdanum in the background which gives me a slight headache (labdanum often does this to me, but not always) and there's a resinous feel which is presumably the lentisque. I don't get any myrtle at all in the opening. I find myself feeling that I've worn this before in some other perfume but I can't quite place which, where or when. 30 minutes in the notes have blended together to form a more blended smell with cypress and pine the dominant theme. At this point you realise Costa Azzurra Acqua works just as well in the cooler autumn and winter air as well as spring and summer as it has the accord to cut through the cold air. There's a touch of Tom Ford's Italian Cypress and Floris 1962 here. What we have is a rounded woody aromatic, not a summer aquatic or fresh number. The process of fading away is a very slow and steady one. The first hint of fading begins an hour in but the perfume lasts for seven hours in all and I find it's an intimate scent almost from start to finish. Whilst there are an awful lot of people who presume that a perfume in a blue bottle must be an aquatic/marine or freshie (which really isn't terribly intelligent of them) and talk about every perfume presented in that way as if it is an aquatic, the reality of the notes and the odour is that this is a nice woody aromatic which is an all year round scent.

I've always wanted my own bottle of Tom Ford since I started collecting fragrances in December of 2022, I am happy to inform everyone that this is my first full bottle that I've purchased. I bought this cologne for a couple reasons one because I saw this at my local eco thrift behind the glass curtain and thought to myself there is no way someone just threw away a Tom Ford bottle it had to have been a fake or something. I asked the lady to open the drawer and to my surprise after years of smelling every single Tom Ford Private blend and dreaming I thought I found gold in my hand. It was completely identical to the ones I've smelled at either Nordstrom or the Tom Ford store on the Strip of Las Vegas. I digress from my celebration and onto my actual review of the cologne. The smell if magnificent, the notes of lemon and pine needles are well balanced and feels like a much more sophisticated version of Aqua Di Gio. It unfortunately, doesn't last as long as I would like on my skin, even with ideal conditions it lasts about 4-5 hours. I feel that is enough for most people. This doesn't feel like a cologne most people go out of their way to search for as it has similar DNA to some designer fragrances that are already on the market. If you're looking for something that is easy to wear, yet it elevated in scent, this would be for you.

Essentially Costa Azzurra Lite. Wonderful scent, and very different from the rest of the Neroli Portofino collection. Can be used as a casual signature scent best in the spring through fall. Surprisingly, I get great longevity (6-7 hours) with 6 sprays to the chest and soft-medium projection for the first hour. I refresh with two sprays later on for more lasting power. Yes, that’s 8 sprays total, but with an acqua/fresh fragrance that’s usually my norm. The acqua scent is less woody, less salty, more fresh than the original; but I get worse performance with the original. The original has more depth, but is more heavy, making it better for the spring and fall – acqua is thinner, so better for the summer. Both are winners, but I think I slightly prefer the original more due to the fact that the projection is a bit stronger, so I notice it more throughout its wear, and I can achieve the same performance with 1 or 2 less sprays. I think the acqua is definitely worth giving a try if you are willing to spray a little more than usual. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 3/10 (1 hours) Overall: 5/10

Not my favourite blue bottle Tom Ford, that would be by far mandarino di amalfi acqua, but still a really pleasant fragrance! It's fresh but in a different way from the most acquatic fragrances. The pine, the chypress, the juniper berries and the touch of the mastique make unique, green and a bit dark. I prefer the acqua version from the original and the signature one because it's more versatile in summer. Performance is not great but not bad for a summer fragrance, 5-6 hours longevity with good projection for 1,5 hours. It's very versatile and easy to wear in the office, going out, even on the beach. To me this is more like a day scent and i would prefer something else for the summer nights but it could work in a casual summer night. I find it more unique than most of the acquatic fragrances and it will get good attention. Overall, i like it but i don't love it. It's pleasant, easy to wear and be sure that you smell great. It's a dumb reach but different from the usual blue fragrances. If i had to pick one of the blue bottles i would go for Mandarino every time but this is my second favourite.

My honest review of Costa Azurra Aqua. Context: I purchased a 100mL bottle for $100USD at a discount store. It's definitely a great scent, and I love that. It smells like a beautiful yacht vacation with aromatics that I have never encountered in another fragrance. It's limited only by the longevity and sillage, but I think that's actually a good thing. During the extreme heat where you would wear this, I think having a softer scent is better than blasting people with your presence. I haven't smelled the EDP of Costa Azurra to compare longevity, but I think it may be worth going for if it lasts longer than this one for a composable price. I would really only recommend this to someone who has no monetary constraints or who finds this on an extreme bargain like I did. A great scent, but only for those who prefer muted scents with amazing notes. Make sense?

I've become so enraptured with Tom Ford scents lately, that I have now made it my mission to find a couple that the other half likes for himself. Partially because I'm always looking for new and interesting sexy smells to enhance his good looks, but also because if he has a couple of bottles of Tom Ford Private Blend fragrances in HIS collection then it will be far easier for me to make a case for myself purchasing and owning more of Mr Ford's scents, lol. Not even kidding. Just bought him a 10ml decant of this one to test because I'm hoping it will be somewhat in the similar vein to his ultimate favourite fragrance ever: Dior Homme Sport (Original formulation). Fingers crossed...watch this space!

Costa Azzura Acqua is a beautiful scent that transports you to a yacht in the middle of the Azzure Coast, smelling the clean balmy salty breeze of the French Riveria. A fantastic scent for summer and possibly spring. The fragrance is delightfully resinous and camphorous. However, and this is so sad to say, the performance is lacking and it really rather quickly becomes a skin scent. You really need to be wearing this in high heat for it to really shine, and living in the U.K. this means I have to reserve this for my holidays. Love the smell, dislike the performance. It seems that most of TFs fresher scents aren’t very long lasting, apart from maybe the fougeres (GV and BdJ).

Not your average freshie, Tom Ford’s CAA smells almost like iced tea on a hot day. There’s a definite bitterness to it, brought by the pine notes, and this overlays the whole fragrance, which is why I don’t find myself wearing it when it’s supposed to be worn: on the hottest summer days. It’s slightly too bitter and not fresh enough to be my go to summer fragrance. Also, performance is unfortunately poor and I personally get no longer than 1 hour of longevity with barely any projection. I’ve also sampled the EDP and that does have expectedly better performance and remains as a surprisingly rich skin scent for a lot longer.

I've had Costa Azzurra Aqua since late 2019, and I just stopped wearing it. Today, we're having an unusually warm day for November, and I decided to give it another try. It definitely feels like a trip to a Mediterranean beach; beautiful clean citrus, revitalizing herbs and very comforting. On me it becomes a very long lasting skin scent after about an hour, which I like since I can wear it to the office. Very Masculine, very clean, very classy.

One of my favourite scents. Very unique blue and green scent. Performance is a letdown for the very high price point. Unfortunately discontinued but hopefully someone else will make something similar with a decent longevity and silage. Only really for hot summer days. Scent is 10/10 Performance and value is 2/10 Overall 5/10

Nice fragrance! Fresh, green and a bit smokey/spicy. I think it’s more masculine than unisex. Smells natural, expensive and elegant. A good choice for a summer night. I imagine a young, rich and stylish gentleman wearing it. Final note: 8,5/10

Citrusy and spicy, yet somewhat soapy. Lots to love in here! One of my favorite unisex fragrances for summer, makes you think about something like hot summer in Italy, seaside, citruses, and warm wind with a bit of saltiness from the sea.

Picked up a sample today, apparently it just hit stores this week. I've been looking for good fresh scents that I can wear to the gym or in Spring and summer and this fits the bill. Doesn't last as long as I'd like.

It really doesn’t last too long. I need to wait will till summer in order to give it a proper review. I gave it another try and I noticed the mastic.... otherwise very light. I’ll probably pass.

Funny to admit it but this was a blind buy - a kind of at least, since I had smell the original EDP release. The EDP release was interesting but there was something really annoying at the start of this one that put me off - not sure what that was, but it gave me a really old fashioned perfume feeling, something bad from the 80s. I read the reviews about the EDT version being a more fresh version of it and I decided to pull the trigger so I ordered online a 100ml of it. First of all the bottle of this one is an absolute beauty, I love this frosted blue bottle so much. The perfume is so much better than the original release: really fresh, really unisex, it gives me a great salty vibe, I was sure that there are some sea notes in it. The longevity is really good, I got 6 hours with arm length longevity, while it stayed 3 more hours on me as a skin scent. It is really funny the fact that the fresher EDT versions of the Portofino line seem to be so much better than thee EDP versions - they are also so much cheaper. You should give a try. Solid like from me. I wish I knew that I already had something 80% similar to this already, but I unfortunately only realized that on my first spray. Salty ocean mustiness, amber, citruses, hmm what does this remind me of? Oh yeah, the $50 fragrance I already own. Versace dylan blue. This was a serious letdown for me. Of course, this doesn't share the fig leaf or grapefruit notes that dylan blue has, but the base is nearly there. Only this performs and projects way worse. Not a bad fragrance by any means, it was just the wrong purchase for me.

Ladies, u can borrow this from your husband if you later it with vanilla body spray! May sound strange but try it before you knock it

Finished out a 2 mL decant as I am trying to dwindle down my sample stash. Costa Azura Acqua has a strong juniper opening--maybe just a hint of lemon, but definitely more juniper than anything else. Some noticeable pine and lots of juniper (again) in the drydown, but very little warmth from the amber and labdanum that I was expecting to detect in the base. Both projection and longevity are moderate, clocking in at 5-6 hours of longevity, and projecting at arm’s length for the first four. Definitely more suited for warmer weather, as this reads like a slightly more refined “blue” scent. It leans more masculine than unisex to my nose, and a bit on the older / more mature side. To date, it’s the most underwhelming Tom Ford that I’ve sampled. I’d call it a safe summer blind buy for a more mature man, but I’d definitely advise against paying full price.

Not worth the price, but a very pleasant scent. Nothing original. And longevity and projection is not great either. Edit: Tried it on my skin few months later and it smells really weird. Pickles and pee. Good it’s not very long lasting.

I have wanted this fragrance for a couple of months now and decided to buy it when I say it on sale for £69 which forced me to buy it. I am a massive fan of this scent, I have worn it twice since getting it and have gotten three compliments so far (which I think is a win) I wore it tonight to a friends house and received two compliments straight away.. this was at night with the temperature being 15 degrees (59 Fahrenheit for the American amongst us) so I was happy with the amount of praise the scent received. I applied this at about 8pm and I stopped smelling this strongly at about 2am which I am happy with due to the temperature. The scent starts off with a strong floral/aquatic smell which transforms into a woodie/aquatic scent towards the end of the fragrance. I find this aftershave highly intoxicating and complex, I will update my review upon further wearings but I love this scent so far and I am hoping for warmer weather to see the full potential of this.

I’m just here to read reviews after blind bidding (and subsequently buying) a small bottle. Someone needs to compile reviews from this site and turn it into a hard cover coffee table book. Maybe that will become my next healthy addiction. As for me, I’ll return once I actually sniff and wear. I’m a sucker for TF (typically neroli portofino and soleil blanc) and they along with aventus for her and light blue intense are my daily go to fragrances. I really also like CK One Summer 2020 bc it’s fresh, salty, citrusy and unisex. I also need a 12-step fragrance addict meeting and I know admitting the problem is the first step but most ppl really enjoy my addiction as do I. I always smell great. My house smells great. My car and belongings and even all my children smell great and I give lots away too! Anyhow, will I like this one? What do you all poets think?

I received a 10ml decant from a friend. My immediate impression: the 'acqua' sure seems appropriate. It seemed like a watered down version of the original. Literally. After a rainy-day wear and a couple sunny-day wears, I regard it more like a "sport" version of the original, while retaining a great deal of the original character. Kinda smells like i was wearing one of those Adidas freshies earlier in the day, and freshened up with Costa Azzurra to finish off the evening. Even side-by-side, they can be similar but i feel like this loses some of that driftwood accord that may have freaked a lot of people out; i personally loved that about C.A. and again I feel it's retained well here, just tamed. I give this an easy 8.5 out of 10, and i still prefer the original over this but I am not dissatisfied with this one at all.

This is really good, such a mice salty marine scent without being too much. Not too fishy, not too citrusy. It is a bit too salty for a daily driver for me, but would be good for special occasions. I wouldn’t buy it simply bc I have Aqva amara and find it to be similar (though not the same) and i prefer it, but i think this is a good fragrance and am happy to have experienced it. The green/woody-ness makes it unique amoung the marine-type scents. Amara has a lot of metallic/mineral smell, which isn’t as present here. For the price this is going for (around $80-90), i think it’s a worthy purchase, or perhaps go for the original which can be found in the new bottles for not too much more. (i even found the old packaging on ebay for $70/30ml on the ‘bay)

First, let me state that none of the discounters have it online anymore. Trust me I looked, even found one pictured and bought only to return it when the cheaper newer version arrived in its place. Thankfully they refunded when I threatened them with reporting them for fraud. Now for the scent, it is beautiful and unique. By far the best Tom Ford out there, and worth the price. I have tried various replicas, all of which do not come close. The new cheaper version from Tom Ford is fairly close, but it does smell different. I would have kept the one I was sent if it had been 50$ cheaper like every other discounter had it. Worth a smell if you can get a hold of it. I will continue to search for the now discontinued bottle.

Awesome, way better than the original. This is less muddled and more transparent with the notes. This and Sol Di Posiitano are my favorites from the fresh line up. I wish this wasn't discontinued. A very nicely stripped down version of the original. This one of the best you can get for summer designer/niche scent. Its piney, gin, soapy and herbal. Picture a blue forest. Its very masculine and still receives compliments. This goes in my rotation for the summer with Bvlgari Aqva , Sailing Day Margiela, Creed silver mountain water and Creed Virgin Island water. Buy for your collection. I recommend it your looking for unique aquatic for ages 25 +.

I own Costa Azzura Acqua and the original Costa Azzurra Private Blend, and I actually prefer this one. Here it's a proper beach aquatic... fresher, brighter, and without the less desirable, almost pungent aspect of the original's dry down. And though that comes at the cost of some performance, in this case I think it's worth it. I also find it to be more versatile. Smells high-end, but can also be worn to the gym. Whereas appropriateness of its older brother is limited to cocktail hour and evenings in a resort setting... at least for me. So two thumbs up for this rather short-lived flanker. Glad I was able to scoop up a bottle from Amazon.
