Parfum flankers should be deeper, richer than their EDP counterparts but apparently Tom Ford disagrees. Much like in Ombre Leather the Parfum is a less complex and even airy compared to the EDP version. Sure there's a good dose of amber and labdanum to give it some sweet thickness but gone are the marine notes and spices while the cypress is also restrained. Fortunately the amalfi lemon leans on the labdanum and amber to gives it some creaminess or else you'll get that dreaded pinesol cleaner vibe especially with the cypress. This is the more mass appealing version as was Ombre Leather Parfum. Easier to wear and feels more feminine. If you want some depth then spray the EDP or PB along with the parfum. You may have to re-apply the EDP or Private Blend (herein referred to as PB) versions as they only seem to last 4-5 hours whereas the Parfum can make it 8-10 hours. At least they nailed the longevity which you would expect a parfum to have. This is an easy wearing scent with some oak and cypress to keep it interesting but this is made with a designer aesthetic in mind which should appeal to the masses. It definitely draws compliments and will last a work day so it is an ideal office scent. If you aren't content with that then consider layering with the EDP or PB as previously stated. I'd give this a 4.25/5 only because it does smell well blended if simple and does last an entire day which seems to be rather exceptional in the summer/spring freshie category. I'll revisit this again in the fall to see if the thicker sweetness may help carry it in colder weather. Perhaps the oak and cypress may get a boost too. We shall see.

So now that I've owned a full bottle of this for a couple of months now I feel like I have enough time spent with it to give it a full review and express my well rounded opinions. First off, this and Clive Christian Art Deco Cypress XXI are easily the two most amazing, attractive and natural smelling cypress based fragrances on the market currently with Costa Azzura being geared more for warmer weather and the Clive Christian being better acclimated to spring and fall. Costa Azzura is much brighter, it's citruses juicier and more lively and volatile while not to the point of effervescent. A smooth juiciness if you will. Art Deco Cypress while just as bright, gets there by way of effervescence and it does make it feel higher quality in the opening while also allowing the fragrance to be much heavier later on. But I would prefer the Tom Ford in the heat without hesitation. The way they took the original driftwood accord in the original and beefed it up in this parfum is spot on, with a little additional amber from Spanish labdanum, this one really just hits all the right spots for a great warm weather, Mediterranean coast in essence type of fragrance that is ubber masculine and has well above average performance and projection!!! It is a bit expensive as a Tom Ford Parfum, but so far all but Grey Vetiver have been top notch and more than worth the asking price. This one is no exception.

Alongside Beau De Jour this is in my opinion the best tom ford has to offer. Very masculine and dry. Definitely 25+ territory, probably the best Cypress fragrance I've tried. If you can get this for a fair price and you enjoy woody aromatics it's hard to argue against buying a bottle It opens with fresh, aromatic lemon and Cypress with some sea notes. Summery, but not extremely so. It becomes much more woody in the dry down, almost getting a spicy note, and becomes increasingly cypress dominant. The sea notes also intensify somewhat. At the tail end of the dry down , it takes on a sweeter, ambery note that is a little more conventional. Overall, this smells like a forest by the sea. Performance wise it's on par with other parfums. Less projection than the EDP but it makes up for it in longevity and depth I think it's suitable for all year wear. It's fresh enough that it can be used in the summers, if a bit too heavy in the dry down. The forestry notes work well in autumn too,and the Cypress is piney enough that I'll happily use it in the winter too. If you're wondering if there is a difference between this and the EDP, it's mainly that this is a bit on the heavier side. The Cypress and woods are stronger, but it's otherwise essentially identical. If you want a pure summer fragrance, go for the EDP. Otherwise, this is better.

Not sure what makes an italian lemon different from other lemons. But thankfully, this doesn't have that lemon cleaner/disinfectant vibe. Instead the lemon, amber and oak combine to form a candied ginger backed with a cypress note. This seems to be sweeter than the EDP or PB versions but never cloying. It gives it some heft and with the lack of marine notes makes this seem less aquatic. You get a sense of being near the coastline as there is an airyness to it but it isn't like its predecessors. Those had a salinity, waves crashing upon the shoreline and being picked up by the air. With this one you feel a bit removed from the coastline, but this is more well rounded and smoother. Projection is good for the first 3 hours and it lingers in a small bubble for 8. I think it would be a good base to layer the others on. Or if you dislike marine/sea notes and wanted something smoother and sweeter then you'll be pleased with this. I prefer this one to the others as it is the easiest to wear and seems to be the most versatile. I also wonder how this will perform in cooler weather. The others with their marine notes felt out of place and the salinity kinda reminds one of human sweat which isn't a desirable aspect. This should hold up much better but time will tell.

Citrus, cyprus and a bit of wood and amber. Very well blended and not synthetic. The opening is excellent and the dry down is fantastic. It is weirdly heavy for a summery fragrance, but it works. Amazing fragrance for hot and humid summer nights. It is bigger, stronger and longer lasting than the OG EDP, but I own and really like both. I would say that the EDP is perfect for summer days and the Parfum is perfect for summer nights. Bringing both on a hot summer vacation wouldn’t be redundant IMO. The Parfum would work for warmer spring and fall days as well. Not cheap, but I am glad as it is part of the Signature collection (I won’t be buying any more Private Blend as they are now out of reach for me and I believe extremely overpriced) which I can afford from discounters and duty free. Excellent fragrance in any case. If you have the EDP, try before buying as you may not need both. I own both and am glad I do.

I'm starting to really like this. It smells like sun-dried grass with herbs near the beach. Woody but not harshly resinous. Very slightly sweet, but not like today's trendy scents. Very relaxing and elegant. Natural and not chemical. I love drydown. Much better than the EDP version. Ideal scent for spring and summer evenings. Together with TF Gery vetiver EDP the best scent for warm weather if it's not really hot. I'll definitely buy it. The only negative is that even though it's a Parfum version, it seems very below average in terms of longevity and sillage. EDIT: I've been testing it for a while and it seems very weak. After 3 hours I only have a faint scent of leather. It's a nice spring scent but it doesn't have the sillage or longevity of a perfume at all. Need to be sprayed on clothes. Even some EDTs seem stronger to me. I don't know if it's worth the money - very weak longevity.

This is good but I highly prefer the EDP version. This one is a bit too thick and dense, and has some synthetic vibes that I get from designer frags like YSL Y EDP- I do not get this vibe from the EDP version. They are definitely similar. I love the EDP because it strikes a truly unique balance between freshness and warmth... it is not nearly as dense and feels more bright, airy, fresh, and captures the ocean feeling perfectly. This one is not what I would consider a fresh spring/summer type scent, it’s a lot darker and would work better in cooler weather. It’s spicier, more woody, and not aquatic at all. It doesn’t give me the same oceanic feeling, and therefor in my opinion doesn’t fit with the name Costa Azzura. Mind you, it is not a bad fragrance whatsoever, just not up to my expectations and is not in the same league and category as the EDP.

I don't know what makes a lemon italian, but I'm all for it. This fragrance is perfect for warm weather. It's one of my first really expensive frags that I own and I've fallen in love with it. With most cheaper-end designer frags the citrus is usually a bit synthetic and windex-smelling but this lemon actually smells smooth and natural. The woods in here are very prominent as well. For me I also get a very slight tea note, maybe it's the labdanum I'm not sure. It's very Mediterranean oriented in it's scent profile. For a fresh scent it's very powerful. I could smell it faintly on my wrist the day after. It also has decently good projection for a fresh scent. If you want a more unique warm-weather scent I definitely recommend this, but because of it's price point you should not blind buy it.

Remember that episode of Seinfeld when Kramer came up with a cologne that smells like the 🏖️ !?️This is exactly what I think of all the beaches I’ve been to smell like, 👍🏽 definitely reminds you of the salt,🧂 Wood 🪵 And breezes 💨 of the ocean 🌊 . I really do wish I found this along time ago because most summer ☀️fragrances are too light and the citrus have zero to no longevity. This will sit in the front of my collection as pleasingly beautiful go to for daily summer wear. Initially sprayed it on, had a T-shirt on underneath my shirt 👚 and 6hrs later at home 🏠 I took the T-shirt off, put on a completely new and clean 🧼 T-shirt and can still smell it on me. WTH is this awesomeness ?! lol

Costa Azurra was a bit of an accidental blind-buy freebie for me, procured from a company rewards program where it was labeled as a women’s fragrance. Upon receiving, I was initially surprised at how masculine it is, but quickly came to appreciate its warm and woody sun-kissed lemony edges. Eventually I realized: gender is a performance and this is an absolutely fabulous scent. Costa Azurra is perfectly blended and polished. It does not overpower because it does not have to: it knows it fits in everywhere. As a woman who works in a male-dominated industry, that energy is very needed. I pair this fragrance with tortoiseshell-buckled loafers and a take-no-shit attitude.

People who love resinous, dry woody, aromatic ambery fragrances, will definitely appreciate this one. I love anything that smells natural, forest vibes, and takes me to the outdoors, nature and its elements. It’s a very simple note Pyramid but it’s magical, the cypress and oak are stars. While the lemon and amber give it a bright and warm effect, mixed with the laudanum it blends wonderfully. If you love the smell of wood chips, dry stringy woodiness, you will fall in love with this formula. This is in my top 5 in my almost 50 bottle collection. Thumbs up, not a beast sillage but above average. Average projection but amazing scent. Smells like money. Dense, beautiful.

I love this fragrance. I have had the Costa azzura acqua and the one that came in the private line blue bottle. This one smells exact with a few more woody and fresh style spices. In it being a parfum, its projection and longevity is superb. The bottle and box is also a very beautiful radiant gold that perfectly establishes what the scent will be, coastal with a side of Sun rays. This is a good summer Signature scent, and its very masculine. Could not imagine how this is unisex like other Tom Ford Portofino line as its not very floral or sweet, just very much lemon wood aquatic. 10/10. Not easy for me to rank something perfect but this one is to me is.

Heavy Cypress in the opening mixed with citrus. Green & Herbaceous. This reminds me of driving on a coastal town lined with an Evergreen forest. Ambers come out as it dries down with noticeable Woods. Smells pretty natural to my nose aside from the Iso E Super that I detect. I smelled the EDT first but it was fleeting and barely lasted. This has very good longevity on my skin, but is more projecting in the first two hours and then get 6-7 additional hours of longevity after that. The presentation is Gold and Luxe looking. Price is too high IMO....so wait til the stores have their 15%-20% beauty sales or after heading to discounters to pick this up.

Recently (as of February 2025), withdrawn from sale here in the UK, I managed to track down the last remaining bottle in Harvey Nichols in Manchester. This fragrance is a lovely, powdery, sweet lemon sherbet-like linear scent, that sadly has poor longevity, but does have mood boosting qualities on account of its high-pitched tendencies. Perfect for summer, outrageously priced, but lovely like a Lemon Meringue pie. If you want a cheaper, albeit designer alternative, you could try the Allure Homme Blanche line from Chanel for Men. That line also has a lemon-sherbet vibe to it.

Different summer scent. It is fresh but heavy at the same time & the dry down is one of the best I have ever experienced, the opening is nice but the drydown of this scent is something else. Very masculine & versatile. Performance is as good as it gets for a summer scent lasts 8+ hours on the skin & I don’t have to dip my nose into my wrist to smell it. The only downside is the hefty price & the fact that Tom ford rarley found at discounter stores. This will be high on my wishlist for sure. After another 2nd trial, It is good but not worth the hefty price tag in my opinion.

This smells like money. Seriously, like some rich mf on a yacht vibes. It smells like a modern man’s cologne. This is not barbershop or old school. It’s a modern versatile man’s scent. Fresh, alluring, no frills. Sometimes that what you want when you own tons of scents. I get the slight ADG vibe, however I own all in the adg line and they don’t hold a candle to this. This is high quality, long lasting, potent. If you’re looking for a unique scent this may not be it but it’s awesome and I love it. I can’t stop spraying it on. This does its thing.

As a lover of gourmands and more intense oriental fragrance types, I had almost given up on finding something that was a fresher, more bracing fragrance for every day wear, I find many such fragrance types are aimed at teenage to early twenties market and can smell somewhat juvenile and common, dare I say it (I'm 48). Costa Azzura Parfum however is a superb, sophisticated and attractive smelling fresh scent. I will definitely invest in a bottle, I use the word 'invest' deliberately, as this stuff ain't cheap!

The way I'd like to describe it, is as if you're walking on the beach and there's a gentle breeze of the sea, and you pick up a tiny bit of salt up your nose, this is what this perfume imitates for me at least. I quite like it, but the performance here really lacks, sadly, I love the scent and I'd be very happy if it persevered longer, but it doesn't.. Was around 80-90$ brand new in the box with a plastic wrapping, so I can't really go wrong with it. Perhaps I'll find a way for it to stick around for longer.

The best performer in TF blue-green private blend collection. I was lucky that i liked it amongst all other summer scents of this line after exploring them and even much happier that's already in the signature collection as the recently released parfum version! That' a perfect summer fragrance! I've completely finished a 30 ml (blue) bottle i had for around 3 years. Now the parfum has a bit more depth than the edp and with an underlined woody base that stays and lingers longer. Beautiful frag!

I’m a cypress aromatic guy. I rarely put my nose on a Tom Ford on a Sephora floor other than curiously trying the new ombré leather parfum or whatever it is. I happened to sniff this today just killing time, stopped me in my tracks. Beautiful, expensive, maybe too expensive, but so very good. I bought it and I wasn’t really planning to buy anything today. I’ve got around 140-ish frags both designer and niche, and this jumped into my top 10, easily.

Always a sad day when you realize you got took, even at a discounted price. Guys, this is man wood essence in a cheaper bottle for 3 times the price! Look at the notes. They are identical! I'm sitting at work this morning thinking, wtf. I smell like Costa azzura but I put on wood essence. You know what's even sadder? That this DNA is in Calvin Kleins eternity edp. So yeah. Tom Ford duped a Calvin Klein frag and put a 300 dollar price tag on it...

I smelled Costa Azzurra EDP at the department store and liked the scent but was disappointed that it didn't last long on me. This parfum version somehow last longer with 'less ingredients'. It's linear like others have but its so freaking good.Hard to describe the scent profile, but the scent itself doesn't change from the initial spray. Perfect summer scent, and another Tom Ford Signature collection banger. Highly recommended. 9/10

wow. holy masculine batman. I sprayed twice on my left hand and left Saks. immediately it reminded me of Amouage epic in spice level and density without the heat. cypress and resins with pepper spikiness. it has traditional progression and really changes becoming less dense more woody with the ocean far in the distance until it fully reveals the aquatic note that lingers with woods in the end. magic journey. quality juice. do it

This isn’t as marine as the original, it’s more heavy and woody. It’s like a mature version of Acqua di Gio. Probably the most masculine fragrance I own. Something a rich older guy would wear on his yacht. It exudes wealth. Honestly this is the best performing fresh fragrance I’ve ever worn. It is expensive but it’s very high quality. I took this to Italy and it was fantastic to wear this in the hot Mediterranean weather. 8.9/10

I absolutely love this stuff based on two wearings I got out of the sample from Dillard's. The price is reasonable for a Tom Ford but definitely a stretch in the realm of high end designer fragrances. There are others that I'm going to get before this one specifically because of the price, but you can bet that if I run across a good deal on a 100ml bottle of this that I'm going to snatch it up VERY QUICKLY ! ! !

This is my signature summer fragrance. You spray and let the citrus-spice sizzle in the sun and it lasts for hours. Crazy sillage and great performance. This is a unisex scent but leans more masculine but as a woman I have no qualms. Smells incredible on anyone. Jcmusic123's nose probably stopped working or his skin refused to cooperate since this is one of my strongest fragrances in my collection. 🤣

Crazy Performance, Sprayed it at 5:30 in the morning and got a compliment by someone i walked by at 15:00 in the afternoon. Really love this scent, fresh citrus woody a bi fizzy and pretty clean and well blended. Smells like being at the edge of a forest with a cool oceanic breeze on the top of a sunny cliff. Dont buy it tho bc i dont want anyone else to smell like me.

Pricy, but luckily I had some Shoppers Optimum points to redeem so I ended up getting a big bottle a couple of weeks ago. No regrets, this stuff smells amazing. I am a big fan of dry woods and the cypress and oak smell great. Wore it out last weekend on a warm night and it was the perfect choice. Can’t wait for more warmer summer evenings, this will be my go to.

after having a bad experience with the EDP, I gave this one a try, and oh boy, it is really amazing, the amber note with the raw lemon makes it sublime, bought it instantly, out of the parfums from the signature collection I feel like this one the one that was vastly improved from the EDP version, 9.5/10 in my book, signature summer scent worthy

Just tested this in Sephora.I am not so much into "marine" vibes, and this is a nice deviant. Despite the harsh opening, dry down is to die for. Beautiful cosy amber a little soapy but warm. edp is not as mature as this, although has the same base,it is sharper. I like it a lot but dont think its worth the price. Anyone knows a dupe?

I was able to smell this at my local Sephora today & I picked up some incredibly well put together soapy-ish vibe as it started to dry down, but no idea what the note would be as nothing in the notes suggests. I'm a big Lavender fan & though I figured it wasn't that, I did pick up something. Anyone know what it might be?

Good one, all rounder with good performance. Citric / marine scent perfect for summer holidays Am I the only one that thinks Kenzo Homme Eau de Parfum is the same as this one but sweeter, cheaper (a difference of like 100 euros), and about the same performance/sillage? Like this is a citric version of it.

Gives off european church vibes. The scent has a lot of depth. The lemon blends well with both the cypress and wood. There's something fruity-sweet in the base that I can't pinpoint- doesn't smell like amber to me. I'm not a fan of woody fragrances, but I enjoy this one. Could be a signature frag.

I could say one thousand things about this, but im going to say this is simply summer in a bottle, you sprayed this and you travel right to the mediterranean sea, just like if you were smelling the salt rising from the water, the sun soaking your skin with his golden rays, absolutely amazing

3 sprays needed for good performance. 1-2 won’t cut it. Extremely pleasant smell imo. This is how a linen shirt wearing male should smell like. Very Mediterranean, fresh, citrusy and elegant. When it comes to the price it is definitely overpriced but it’s TF you can’t do much about it.

Beautiful summer scent but horrible performance. I have perhaps 50 bottles and this is one of the worst performance wise including $20 cheapies. Too bad because it is a nice scent but if you buy it prepare to reapply every two hours and for the price that is ridiculous.

This has become my summer fragrance when I’m not in the mood for Eau Givree sweetness. It’s a beautiful citrus woody scent with a nice dry elegance. It lasts about 6 hours on me which is fine because you’re usually showerig at some point in the day during summer anyway.

A scent that reminds you of walking through a forest in the Mediterranean with the sea close by. At first, it may smell very unusual and too powerful, but as time passes the smell turns into a very fresh and masculine scent, perfect for the hotter summer days.

Perfect summer to fall transition scent. Today it was 70 degrees and sunny and this scent was perfect. The top notes sparkle and keep things fresh while the base is deep and woodsy (almost smokey to my nose). I really like this one.

If you're not sure on which Costa Azzurra to pick, well i'd say go for this one. This is more versatile than the other ones, can easily be a signature scent, it's heavier, more woody and mature. A classic gentleman's smell.

This one is so underrated. Complex, slightly ice-tea summer, refined, fresh woody scent. Bought 100ml at discount for 120$ in Spain. Very unique as well, it doesn't remind me og anything i've encountered so far.

Safe blind buy for fougère lovers. Classic freshness with a modern signature, never too sweet, never gimmicky. The vibe is quiet, stern elegance - crisp, composed, and unapologetically fresh.

i put this on yesterday before i went to work. ive sinced showered slept and its been about 30hrs and i can still smell it although it is now a skin scent it is there which is insane

The Scarface scent No unisex scent it's very masculine good longevity it's mature only for summer nights with pastel suit elegant sophisticated little vintage

The Cypris is very evident. Reminds me of a northern Ontario forest in summer + Lemon. very summery. Light yet lasting, woody and fresh.

Lemon and cypress. Good scent but wasn't getting much projection out of this. For the cost would rather stick with Versace Eros Energy.
