Eau de Vert Boheme

I am truly baffled that this officially has no pure green or grassy notes, because that's entirely what I get when I first spray this. As it dries down, it morphs to have a few floral notes but they remain super fresh - like freshly cut flowers or flowers that have been rained on recently. I get only the tiniest bit of citrus - in that I have to close my eyes and concentrate to be able to detect it. Also, I'm not a huge fan of violet leaves, but I honestly get none in this fragrance. I took a huge risk by blind buying this, as I am not at all a Tom Ford stan and I've tried most everything of his. However, this is a real winner for me because the green notes are powerful even a long time after dry down - which IMO is super hard to find. I am completely seduced by really green, grassy scents, so this pushes all my buttons. However, I strongly disagree with the accords - citrus is almost absent in this fragrance according to my nose and I get almost no woods. Also, marine notes? Seriously? I'm super picky about anything sea water related and I just don't get even a tiny bit of that here. I can honestly say I've never encountered a fragrance where the listed notes/accords made less sense based on my experience. However, if you want a super fresh, very green/grassy floral with decent lasting power and projection - this is for you. Whatever you do, don't assume you will experience the notes and accords as listed. You could have the same experience as I did and be in for a surprise.

I’m such a sucker for green fragrances, so when I saw this bright green bottle at Ulta I just had to try it. Oh my, I love this sooo much! Smells very green but like a calming green, very grassy too... almost like cutting fresh juicy grass! Because of how grassy it smells it’s very much either a hit or miss with folks, and I feel like you have to like green fragrances to like this lol. Longevity is pretty good, some people said it was really poor but I find it quite good, lasts longer than Chanel 19 & 19 Poudre eau de parfums... and this is an eau de toilette lol... but I guess compared to the most popular Tom Ford fragrances it does perform lower. Sillage is good, when I sprayed this on me at Ulta and went to my car my family was wondering why i smelt so good (it filled the entire call lol). I would definitely say you should try this! Absolutely love it. EDIT: how in the heck are there no green notes listed?? That’s like 95% of what I smell.... so weird.

I don’t pick up honeysuckle or mandarin. I’m debating between this and Synthetic Jungle. The latter has amazing lasting power of 12+ hours, but the initial spray is super strong and a little much for the first 30 minutes. This is pleasant right from the beginning. It’s so pretty and green! Not as green as Chanel No19, as this one has green florals that are more present, but it’s just as magical as Chanel Cristalle EDT which is discontinued. And I’ve tried a handful of other scents to try and replace it. Issey Miyake A Scent is harsh and is missing the florals. I haven’t tried this Tom Ford original or Tom Ford Fleur de Vert. From what I understand, this is pretty close to those. I think this could be a cold statement in the Winter and a natural choice for the other three seasons. Gah! I must have this. Or Synthetic Jungle :P

Smells like heavy jasmine to me. Feminine leaning and reminds me of older perfumes due to the jasmine smell. No jasmine note listed so I'm guessing violet smells similar? Floral fragrance is what I meant to say I guess. Not a bad scent but not my cup of tea. I think this is suited for mature women (which I'm not) but this was free which is why I own it. Wouldn't mind smelling this on a woman in spring, reminds me a lot of spring/summer on super sunny days with bumblebees flying around, fresh mowed lawn and those cicadas making those buzzing sounds type shit. The green bottle is my favourite though, my favourite colour on a tom ford bottle.

This is a little more light and floral than the OG, with nice magnolia. Bright, a wee bit salty/woody, with a backbone that is just like the original. While the scent itself is different, it does also remind me of Ombre de Hyacinth, at least in the opening. The latter is more green and with prominent galbanum, while this one is more gently floral. There is enough overlap in overall "feel" between the OG Very Boheme and Hyacynth and this new "Eau de" that for MOST PEOPLE it would not make sense to have all three. But this style of perfume is just so appealing to me that I do own all three with no regrets.

I was hoping for more from this. I really wanted those citrus and sea notes to shine through. This is very close to the original, a little more Galbanum (not listed but it is in there) and a little more citrus. Sillage is about 2.5 hours with longevity lasting about 8. For the price, it is a great deal.

I didn’t think much of this when I first sprayed it on my skin, but when I went outside in 94° weather, it really came to life on my skin. It’s a very fresh, grassy floral. One spray was really enough to last for awhile too. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I bought this because honeysuckle is listed as the leading note. Unfortunately I hardly get any good honeysuckle at all, or at least not the same fragrance I used to get from my my honeysuckle vine I grew. I’m getting more of a citrusy magnolia scent which is okay but not quite what I expected at all. Green of the bottle is beautiful and reflects very well the citrusy fragrance in it. Edit. As I became more used to the perfume, the “honeysuckle”ness of it showed itself. It’s blended enough with the other notes to make me confused and not recognize it. Wish it was a cleaner honeysuckle scent though. The scent remains on clothing pass 7 hrs.

I blind bought this with the hopes of it being a substitute to the gorgeous synthetic jungle. It is not a chpyre as that one obviously but I had high hopes after @Miss.Tara 's comment. It is an ok scent with a very very very light profile. Like a nice music played on a very silent tune..You want it to be louder but the equipment just dont allow you.. It doesnt project at all, you can smell it hardly on you if you have a perfume eating skin like me. I am a bit disappointed but will use it this summer at home.

To me this smells like fresh cut grass and also a Mexican tuber called jicama.. very vegetal.. smelling it, I envision a giant meadow. To me it leans more feminine. It’s nice but it doesn’t really wow me. 6/10

I wanted to love this so bad because I love green fragrances and Tom Ford respectively. It’s just a little too green- too vegetal, like fresh cut grass or raw asparagus. I do think it has potential for some nice layering- I would use it with the “Hello Beautiful” body lotion from Bath & Body Works... I know, I know, blasphemy. But it needs a touch of green/white floral to soften it, otherwise by itself it slaps you in the face.

At first, I get a burst of green, which says "galbanum!" to me. There is also a hint of fresh-cut grass, and of green floral stems, in general. This quickly gives way to a bouquet of white/spring flowers (I get a lot of hyacinth, though it is not listed, and honeysuckle). The drydown is slightly woodsy, and reminds me of akigalawood (though it is not a listed note). Overall, it's pleasant at every stage. It reminds me of spring. It's fresh, and it speaks of renewal. It's bright and uplifting. The longevity was far more than I expected from this... it's an EDT, and I ended up with EDP+ persistence on my skin. So, honestly, in terms of dollars-per-spray... this one is a winner for me. I bought this blind, but also obtained a sample of its inspiration (the original TF Vert Boheme) in the meantime. For what it's worth, I feel that the original has even more depth and is more nuanced. All things being equal, I would have purchased the original Vert Boheme, had I been in the market at the time. However, since the original is discontinued (and, apparently, near-impossible to find), and I arrived late to the party, I guess I'll make my peace with the flanker.

Out of the new Resort Collection, this one is the most resort-smelling. It truly reminds me of seaside resorts down south - the green scenery, palm trees, the nice soapy smell of freshly laundered blankets and bed sheets, the white flower plants by the pool. The bottle is gorgeous and represents the smell perfectly: neither transparent nor opaque, but translucent green. It is very aquatic with very soapy florals (i could smell more honeysuckle than magnolia), but there is also a bit of powderiness like the texture on a huge palm leaf. I havent smelled the original, but this projects very well and feels very rich. Not sure if it’s worth a big bottle, so i purchased a 30ml one and feel like it’s enough for my once in a while craving of that particular resort smell. Edit: Now that I've tried the original, I think the two are very close, like almost almost identical. The "eau de" version is definitely lighter, but only slightly. The original stays longer.

This is soooo good! Compared to the original: brighter, more floral, more playful. Yet it still maintains the tranquil, spa-like aromatherapy quality of the original release. I sprayed this on yesterday morning before leaving for work, and instantly thought "This is just what the doctor ordered after yet another bustling work week." Instantly calming, puts a smile on your face. If you want to know about performance....well, on me it lasted at least 10 hrs, and had medium projection. Also, just wanted to note if you are a fan of both Fleur de Portofino AND Vert Boheme, this might just become your new favorite. ♥️ Editing to add: This smells like an homage to Vintage Calyx!!!! 😍

This is hard to beat for the price, especially if you can find it discounted. I would say this leans slightly feminine just as Fleur de Portofino Acqua leans slightly feminine, but it mostly just smells like fresh, clean, cut grass and some florals. I got a 30 ml bottle for $45 from an Estee Lauder store, and it was one of most satisfying fragrance purchases of my life. The bottle is beautiful, the scent is beautiful, and the price is actually great, which is incredibly rare for anything that comes in a Tom Ford Private Blend bottle. Now all Tom needs to do is sell similarly simple scents like Lost Cherry and Bitter Peach at this price point.

This is a dirty green, 'dirty' as in garden soil and sharp green vegetation. I agree with others that there is a grassy vibe. I pick up on an apple note as well, even though none is listed. This lasts a good 8 hours on my skin, drying down to a hint of honeysuckle and magnolia over some dirty woods with the grassy note still going strong. Kind of like you attended a bacchanal, rolled around in the grass with a few fauns and satyrs, and woke up the next day covered in leaves and dirt with no clear memory of what you'd done the night before. Have to be in a very specific mood to wear this.

this bottle looks gorgeous though.
