Ébène Fumé

This is it. This is the one I didn't know I was looking for. It's like I've been circling the drain trying to get to this point and getting closer with every blind buy and sample. It started with encre noire a l'exteme - delicious smokey fragrance but not at all versatile and just a bit too heavy. I love herod, it's gorgeous and not all that similar, but it suits the same scenarios. Still, I wanted more smokey, dry, incense and woods. Fan your flames? Loved but too boozy for most situations. Tried other dry woods - Oud wood, Versace Oud noire, Bravo Monsieur? Beautiful smoke and dry woods, but the 🥒 smell is burned into my brain and I can't disassociate the two. By the fireplace? Simply edible one minute, gone the next. And then, out of nowhere, the fragrance that just somehow feels like it was made for me (and you, if you dig it too). It's the way it's blended. The smoke and resins are so delicate, but noticeable and masterfully balanced with dry, yet creamy & smooth sandalwood. It's earthy and natural, yet it's somehow sort of fresh at the same time. The scent profile is so hard to describe and very simple at the same time. It's like a minimalist approach to a complicated DNA: like a hundred memories reduced to one photograph. A singularity - the smell of a thousand forests and an infinite number of moments all reduced to a few ingredients, denatured alcohol and brown food dye, packaged in a tiny 50 ml bottle. And it's so blunt and encompassing, like a hug from a long lost best friend or lover, it's aggressive and lasts too long, but it feels so good you don't want it to end. Also, I wore hacivat this morning and blended the two by accident earlier and 🤯. Accidental bliss. Lay down the hacivat first then layer the ebene fume over it. Or don't. But you totally should.

Ébène Fumé by Tom Ford is one of the most evocative and spiritual creations in the Private Blend collection. It is not just a perfume, but a real sensorial experience that plays on the contrast between the sacred and the profane. A Purifying Ritual: The beginning is dominated by Palo Santo and Incense. Don't expect the classic cold and liturgical "church" incense; here it is warm, woody and almost crackling. Black pepper adds a burst of energy, while violet leaf (often overlooked in this pyramid) adds a green, metallic touch that keeps the fragrance from becoming too heavy right away. As the fragrance warms on the skin, the "stronger" soul emerges. Cade oil and leather create an accord reminiscent of burnt wood or the smoke of a luxury fireplace. It is here that Rodrigo Flores-Roux demonstrates his talent: rose and labdanum act as mediators, softening the sharp edges of papyrus and leather, making the composition velvety and incredibly elegant. The drydown is the most persistent and reassuring part. Ebony and guaiac wood give a solid and dark, almost "black" structure. The resins seal everything with a dense, amber sweetness that remains on the skin for hours. It doesn't "scream" like other fragrances, but creates a magnetic aura around the wearer. If you love fragrances like Santalum or dry woodies, Ébène Fumé is a masterpiece. However, it is not a safe purchase because the "burnt wood" scent can be polarizing. Personally, it reminds me a lot of Emilio Schuberth's Schu.

I haven't been on Fragrantica very long, but I'm starting to get the idea that unless a fragrance fills the entire room with a given scent, it is commonly vilified as weak and poor quality. I guess if that's why you use fragrances on the first place, that would be a fair evaluation of this absolute stunner by Tom Ford. I have different criteria: I don't want a fragrance that jumps off my skin and slaps the face off of everyone else on the room. As I heard one reviewer say, "I want to be discovered, not announced." Besides that, I want something a little different from the everyday, something a bit exotic. Most important, I want a scent that appeals to me. I'll be smelling it all day, after all. I love Ebene Fume! It's rich, exotic (but not "strange"), woody, smoky, creamy, and delicious. It's a bit like TF Oud Wood, but much smoother, less sharp, and more mature, which suits me perfectly as I am 61. It you are a very young man, trying desperately to get noticed, I can understand you not loving this one. However, if you have reached the point in life where you have developed genuine self-confidence (and not false bravado) I would highly recommend giving this scent a try. I like it for day and evening, and have used it in all seasons except summer, and I'm going to try it this summer, just to see what happens! I may use less of it, and will probably try layering something light and citrusy on top of it. I will have a lot of fun experimenting, that's for certain.

i’ll settle with buying a 100 ml of the Eillish No. 2, but just so you know, you’d have to kill me and rip my 10ml of this from my cold dead stiff hands. I just want to bathe in this so fucking badly. On a cold winter day it emerges stoically, and like a ghost of heat. Often times sweet smells trigger this gagging reflex where my jaw clenches, or a smokey smell will trigger a tingle in my nasal turbinates. This is a sweet-smoke, or sweet-fire. My skin radiates warm and the palo santo smell that i already love so much sings out with a longing. It’s kind of the ultimate emotionally dejected scent for me. It so evokes memories of a cold winter morning walking into Easter mass as a 7 year old and smelling pure incense and burning wood. People try to find an authentic “catholic-guilt” smell, there’s tons of fragrances inspired by saints and archbishops and whatnot, what notes truly evoke catholic whateverr-core. But this to me smells like what church was to me. A concept of sanctity and ritual that never really intrigued me, but instead the ambience and atmosphere that captured me of wood carving and steeples and mom and aunt in long embroidered skirts. This is a catholic or religious frankincense and palo santo in kind of an ironic way, like a Mapplethorpian fixation on catholic beads and jewelry. Im honestly going to keep this a secret to myself and just lie to people and say this is some other woody fragrance.

At first, I was hesitant to blind-buy this fragrance. On one hand, one of my favorite fragrance reviewers described it as really nice on the other, I kept seeing a lot of mixed opinions about it. The price point also held me back for a long time. That changed when, by pure chance, I found it on sale in a mall: a 50 ml bottle plus a 10 ml travel vaporizer for 200$. That’s not something you see every day with Tom Ford, so I bought it instantly and I’m glad I did. This scent is beautiful. It’s smoky, resinous, slightly sweet, and woody, a perfectly balanced combination. I find it very versatile, you can wear it in every season except maybe summer. fall, winter, and even spring work perfectly. Performance is excellent on my skin (mind you most of fragrance i tried don't last long on my dry skin :( ): it lasts all day and even 3 days on clothes. Projection is moderate rather than loud, which I personally love. it sites close instead of shouting. Overall, I’d rate it 8/10. It would easily be a 10/10 for me if the resinous notes were pushed a bit more, especially in the base. As it stands, the resin feels more present in the mid than in the dry-down. Still, an elegant, classy fragrance that I’m genuinely happy to own.

smelt this for the first time in a store the other day and my god it was intense love at first sniff..... holy fuck this is a glorious perfume. walked down the street feeling all nice in myself while wrapped in the sheath of perfume and not even 2 minutes later, a woman passed me by and then turned around and followed me to ask what perfume i was wearing. then a while later i sat down at the bus stop and a couple sat beside me and although i had headphones on, the woman tapped and waved at me to ask me what perfume i was wearing. both her and her man then proceeded to gush about how much they loved it and searched for it online immediately... i was like 🤭 this has the same energy as musc ravageur.... very seductive, moreish and mysterious... elegant yet dirty. im rarely drawn to tom ford perfumes but i spotted this dark elexir and knew it would be good but did not expect it to be THAT good. i could still smell it on my chest and arms midway through the following day.. phenomenal longevity. i neeeeeeeeed a bottle of this but it’s so expensive :’( update: i was gifted a travel size bottle of it yipppeeeee

Absolutely beautiful and one of very few fragrances which project far enough off my skin to garner compliments. Though its expensive, for me it's well worth the price. As to the opinion of it being liner, my honest reaction is that you may not have worn it enough or paid attention to it after the first say, 4 hours. On my skin, as it dries down, the palo santo starts to take precedence over the incense and resins which makes it a bit lighter, fresher, and perhaps sharper than the opening and. After about 10 hours on my skin, it begins to mellow out and sweeten a bit. I can typically still catch whiffs of it the next day which is truly impressive to me. While there may be some aspects which bring people to believe it has a "stereotypical arabian" vibe to it. there are very few if any fragrances I've met which truly remind me of this; in my opinion, Ebene Fumee is more than unique. A beautifully crafted fragrance I think anyone should be proud to make their signature fragrance for colder weather or nights.

This is a precious fragrance. I used to make soap, bath, body, and makeup products, so I'm very familiar with individual notes - however, I'm not sure everyone would be familiar with some of the woods in this, so I'll use some more common woods to compare them to. For me, this smells like the slightly sweet Atlas Cedarwood, perhaps with Rosewood combined. The Rose note is subtle but necessary in my opinion. You definitely pick up on the incense note and a bit of spiciness from the black pepper, but again, it's subtle. I don't smell the smokiness on my skin but others have picked that note up. So beautifully blended, but as others have mentioned, I would only use this on special occasions - for me, date nights, summer evening gatherings, winter evenings would all be appropriate occasions if you're inclined to spend the money on it, or get a sample. NOT screechy or overwhelming, but soft and oddly reminiscent of a hot summer evening.

I'm not much of a fan of TF's other "dark" scents except for Oud Wood (too much tobacco/leather, I think), but I'm absolutely bewitched by this one! To me it smells like my favorite woody incenses. Mysterious, alluring, and sexy. It's my go-to for nights out, either alone or layered with a white floral for a softer vibe. It lasts absolutely forever (seriously, I wore it to a party last Friday and can still smell it on the clothes I wore as of today, Wednesday) and has the perfect sillage imo (people will notice you entering a room but not all the way at the other end of the bar). I think it's extremely unisex and am confused by the consensus it's more masculine! Maybe I'm biased because I favor woody, spicy scents but to me it's so easy to see it as an exotic femme fatale kind of scent, like a sorceress luring you into her sumptuously adorned home. There's something that feels sort of sacred and magical, spellbinding!, about it.

This was a grey market buy. I bought about 7 Tom Ford fragrances at once and I really like them all except Tobacco Vanille. No longevity sadly so i bought a fragrance world clone that does a bad job at trying to emulate this. It's maturing for an eventual review I sprayed this on for the first time after getting it a few months back. It doesn't disappoint. I like how it's a floral type of clean smell with an uderlying Smokiness. I really like smoke and incense notes in scents. The Palo Santo and violet leaf are evident for me. The smoke is just so enveloping. There's a comfort to it. My wife really loves this one. I got a big hug and huffing when I cam down from the bedroom this morning. The unisex factor is 100% here. It's an all arounder. Work play date night ....you can't go wrong. Inoffensive and safe. Not on the sweet end and not cloying in the least. I could see myself driving this daily.

Before buying, i had sampled it on paper and had the paper sit on my bedside for a few days... At least 3 days later i could still smell it and i was loving it. I bought this for the sole purpose of just having access to this smell whenever i want. I just love it. It's so resinus! When i first smelled it, it reminded me of some certain parts of the forest where small rivers pass and the trees around the river just smell "louder" and livelier. At the same time it's very ceremonial and meditative.. it's smoky but not in the ashy way. I had also tried Myrrhe Mystere but this one lasted longer and i loved the resinus smell better. Even though it's way overpriced, it lasts forever on clothes but other people don't seem to notice and no one commented on it when i wear it. It's hard to decide when to wear it and many times i just spray a bit on me, just for me to enjoy.

Ébène Fumé is an experience. It kicks off smoky, peppery, and almost medicinal, with a hint of varnish or turpentine. But give it time, and the woody and resinous notes start to shine, adding warmth and depth. It’s a paradox in a bottle—intensely smoky yet surprisingly smooth and wearable. Despite its complexity, it feels light and airy rather than dense, making it easier to wear than you’d expect. But this isn’t a “love at first sniff” kind of fragrance. It needs multiple wears to fully appreciate, and it absolutely needs skin warmth to develop. If you’re into smoky, woody scents with a refined edge, Ébène Fumé is worth exploring—just be patient with it. In the end, it’s a perfect marriage of spice/pepper, smoke/resins, and woodiness. Ideal for cold weather and leans masculine, though anyone who loves bold, atmospheric/mysterious scents can pull it off.

Probablement ce qui se fait de mieux chez TF actuellement. On est là sur un parfum très boisé et épicé, semblable à un feu de bois. C'est un parfum réconfortant, audacieux, charmant et mystérieux. Il peut très bien se porter de jour, lors de très basses températures, que lors de soirées mondaines ou de dîners. La tenue est très bonne, je le sens personnellement encore après plus de 10 heures. Le sillage est assez important pendant 2-3 heures environ, avant de se rapprocher de plus en plus de la peau au fil du temps. Si vous vous souciez des gens, sachez que je le porte depuis plus d'un an, je vois environ une soixantaine de personnes par jour, et je n'ai eu que des compliments malgré ses saveurs intenses. Est-ce un blind buy ? Absolument pas. Est-ce une pépite ? En tout cas, c'est un coup de coeur olfactif pour ma part.

Unbelievably good. Mastery from Tom Ford, and almost certainly one of the best fragrances TF has available right now. First and foremost, it's nothing like Gucci Pour Homme I. This is darker, heavier, smoker and has a heavier reliance on Palo Santo and Incense. Pour Homme I is a smooth, cedar fragrance from the very beginning. If you're looking for a PH1 replacement, keep looking. This won't tick that box. With that out of the way, this stuff is magnificent. Rich, opulent and heavy. Textbook Tom Ford. Lasts forever, but doesn't choke out a room. This is sensual, dark and mysterious. Absolutely signature scent worthy, and definitely backup bottle worthy... but not quite worth the price. $280 for 50ml? Please. Bring it back to $200 and then, maybe, you're in business. Still. Grab it before TF gets rid of it.

I freakin love this whenever I get the chance to sniff out some Tom Ford fragrances. It's nothing too extraordinary, but I definitely love the scent. I'm picking up smoky wood and amber and strangely enough not too dry as some might say. I've developed a liking to deeper fragrances like this so it's no surprise I'm loving this. This fragrance also sticks on my skin quite well to the point that even if I try to wash it off I still get remnants of it, and even then the fragrance is still just as good. I've also smelled myrrh mystere and I believe it has the same vibe, but definitely still a different fragrance. Since I wouldn't allow myself to purchase a 50ml with the price of the more expensive TF private blend line, I might settle for this instead .

Love this fragrance. Was given a travel spray for free by a Tom Ford rep back in November. (Also gave me Myrrhe Mystere as well, even though they smell identical) The overall scent is extremely strong and unique as it smells exactly like an old church with incents and smoky notes. Definitely not an everyday wear for office or first dates, more for like an exquisite suit and tie gentlemen at a cigar lounge or fancy poker nights. I have only ever worn this fragrance at night in the winter months. The projection and longevity are strong it smells as if you lit incents on in your home right next to a fireplace. Not a safe blind buy as it is very niche and has a particular experience that it goes for

This is everything I have been looking for and I am going to hunt for a full bottle as soon as I can. Perfect blend of incense, resin, aromatics and carnality that hypnotises you as soon as it hits you among the heady smoke. It’s deep and strong, yet you get to see some tenderness and elegance in the somber, rough miasma as it progresses. It’s medicinal enough that it seems a bit inhuman, a bit closed off and cabalistic, approaching divinity as the incense, labdanum and papyrus take hold. I can already picture myself tracing shaky, curious lines along the lean, delicate, yet vigorous figure of an ethereal looking alchemist in some forgotten library, where we remain unheard. One hundred percent.

So on my skin, very very pretty. I’m a man, and this leads very feminine to me. I smell sweet tea when put on, very subtle spice to spicy woods, but once it wavers down, to be 2 more hours, it comes out the sweetness as a pop as it lingers, and in the end comes out super feminine. I feel with its intimate presence, it is as though I had hung out with another women. If I were to walk past someone wearing this to be female, I would be very wowed. Not much people represent this as a feminine fragrance, but to my skin it unfortunately turns to be that way. Definitely try, I do feel the price is okay, definitely expensive, but hey, in this day to feel like a charmer, what isn’t?

2022 batch here A22* As in most cases, the “this perfume reminds me of” section is absolute trash on here. It’s quite sad. This fragrance literally smells nothing like the ones above... Sprayed this on my forearm to sit down and relax. It’s been about 2 hours now. I really love this offering from TF. It starts off as a gorgeous creamy sandalwood that meets incense. It has a tinge of sweetness to draw it in together and also makes this a great unisex fragrance. I absolutely love it. A must try. If you love woody / incense fragrances, you have to try this. **Next morning - 14 hours later, still on skin and I can smell it moving around. Nuclear longevity!!!!

A nice Palo Santo Sandalwood fragrance that has a massive black pepper presence. I also smell the incense and papyrus as well, but the black pepper is a major player on my skin. Eben Fume does not actually smell like Serge Lutens Santal de Mysore, but it does have a thickness to it as does SdM, but where the Lutens follows a slight cumin spiciness along with benzoin's sweet vanilla waft, EF goes peppery and smokey. I like this perfume...not as much as I like Santal de Mysore...but this is still a very nice fragrance on my skin as well and I would recommend it. Although, as with all fragrances, I'd sample it on your skin before committing to a purchase.

This is a positive surprise for me. I'm testing it and it's very good. Probably the most realistic wood I've ever smelled. There's a slight acidity of resin. There's smoke but not too much to overpower the wood. On the skin it's better than on paper. In the drydown it's smooth and a slight hint of warmth. It's basically a simple and straightforward woody scent. It's not as overcombined as BDC or Dior Homme EDT. I'm glad they didn't overdo it with the incense. There's already too much incense in Bois Pacifique - especially in the drydown. It's very good on the skin. I'll keep trying it and maybe even buy a big bottle.

The scent itself is what I expected from By The Fireplace. Smell of an old cabin with cracking cedar logs in the fireplace. And to make it more exquisite there is touch of incense and myrrh. I only disappointed about leather and ebony wood notes that made this fragrance more mass appealing towards men. But I appreciate that there even there is no Oud note it managed to maintain quiet luxury quality. Also, this fragrance is not easily to be layered as it is a powerhouse. However I like to mix it with Noir de Noir TF to calm down the NDN vanilla and wrap myself in the coziness.

At the beginning a bit spicy, but with time becomes gentler. Great for nigh time wear. The incense very noticeable in the absolutely best way possible. Something I was very surprised by is how sweet it gets. A fruity, fire-y smoke, but in a completely different way that Cherry Smoke. It's probably the most Summery and universal scent from that series of Tom Ford that I have tried. Much more comforting and feminine than I have expected, but still very unisex. I dearly recommend it for a person who enjoys heavier sweetness. Very sensual and alluring, romantic almost

Ébène Fumé rivals Etat Libre D’Orange Rien Intense Incense for my all-time #1. They’re reminiscent of one another to me; Ébène Fumé being the undeniably easier wear. If Ébène Fumé is a love for you, but the pretty penny sent you straight down the dupe rabbit hole - do not hesitate: the IDENTICAL scent is Fragrance World’s Alpha. Gorgeous right out of the box. Just as sumptuous, comforting, well-blended, smokey, incensey, warm, slightly sweet and spicy, meditative, and moody as the OG. No maceration required - but I can’t wait to see what that might do.

As a woman who enjoys unisex perfumes, this is my favorite Tom Ford scent and one of my favorite perfumes of all time. It's a stunning smoky fireplace. Not sweet or spicy, no tobacco, just the smoke of a warm fire. I love being in the woods with an open fire and this feels so cozy to me. If anything you might be hesitant to wear it because it's so realistic, and it might just smell like you are actually covered in a smoke smell (which some may find not so nice), but if so this is perfect to layer with other sweeter woody scents for a smoky undertone.

Beautifully blended palo santo, resins and incense notes make this so fantastic to wear. It's not too heavy or headache inducing, it maintains its warmth and spice through the moderate/long wear time. Slightly masculine but overall a good Unisex scent for anyone who is a fan of resinous incense and woods, this is pretty much a perfect blend of it to me. Not a safe blind buy, not particularly work safe either. A special occasions/night fragrance, imo...cool weather scent. Definitely full bottle worthy. 9.5/10, love it. Purchased from: Sephora

Amazing fragrance. Woody and light smoke. Projects strong. Have to somewhat understand ebony wood. Concert violinist and ebony is represented in the bow and violin itself. A strong wood that sinks amongst water molecules. Ebony is an in demand commodity. Don’t know if only scored wild or now a plantation wood. Though probably takes time to mature. Beautiful extremely woody fragrance. Extreme is not to take lightly. Leans somewhat toward masculine. Though both sexes can wear it. Keeps you company especially during the cold of Winter.

Wow. This scent evokes some real deep emotions for me, that’s not a bad thing either. It’s so high end and long lasting. It smells of pure quality. It is kind of like a Lucious deep sandalwood fragrance with incense. It’s deeply rich and smooth. I can honestly say I’ve never smelled anything like this. Tom Ford never disappoints me. This is 1 of my 8 bottles from the private blend. All of them I love dearly. 9/10. You could wear this anytime and any gender can pull it off, so long as you have a little class and mystery about you.

This is like the growling little pet in Despicable Me. It starts out snarling and yapping, delusionally full of machismo and bravado, before suddenly rolling over and showing its true colours as a fluffy little poopykins. It's as complex and dynamic as a Tom Ford gets, and in my opinion could be technically the best perfume from the brand I've experienced. Every wear is different according to temperature, mood, many factors. I absolutely love this, it's a proper perfume that goes on a journey with twists and turns.

I made a trip to Nordstrom to test out this scent. I was extremely surprised at how much I loved it. The incense, wood, smoke, sweetness all wrapped up in an ethereal feeling of sitting in a church. Now waiting for my bottle to arrive in the mail....Will update once I wear it more. A very complex scent for sure that lasted on my skin until the next day. 2/6/2026 So worth the purchase! Sophisticated in every way....I don't think all Tom Ford parfums are good. This one, is perfection for my nose and senses...

Ebene Fume is one of my favorite TF fragrances (Fougere D'Argent and Ombre Leather are also high on my list, if you're wondering if we have similar taste). Woodsy, dark and moody. I was also moved by what a Tom Ford rep told me: that Ebene Fume was Tom Ford's tribute to his partner after he passed away. Who knows, it could have just been a sales pitch (joke was on her if it was -- I never pay retail for fragrances), but it is noteworthy that Richard Buckley died in 2021, the same year Ebene Fume came out.

This is a sexy smoky fragrance! This is absolutely stunning to me - in the beginning I felt light it was too leathery but omg this is so sexy and addictive. This on it's own is a compliment getter, while it leans masculine as a woman i like to wear this on it's own, or mix it with a sweeter fragrance. To make it more feminine I like to mix it with Jasmine Rouge TF or Velvet Rose and Oud JM, sexy!!! Sniff it first, not a safe blind buy. Fragrance - 10/10 Projection - 8/10 longevity - 8.5/10

30/10/2025 This is identical of mancera aoud exclusive but mancera is louder,stay longer and the silage is beast. I have both and I regret I bought tom ford because they are exactly the same. This perfume is Church perfume not easy to wear. Classic and odd not like tom ford line! you will always have challenge where to wear them to. I hope Tom Ford will look back and create more master pieces like Tuscan leather, tobaco vanilla.....and not to drop there level for something like this again.

This is fantastic stuff and really performs well. I loved it at first sniff, but the dry down is really, truly magical. Mysterious, smoky, resinous gorgeousness. Like sweet wood smouldering on embers at dusk. I see it compared to Myrrhe Mystère often and I definitely get the comparisons. If I had to pick only one, I'd probably go with Myrrhe Mystère but this is gorgeous in its own right and I believe they are different enough to warrant me owning both scents.

Came back to change the longevity to eternal! I’m so happy I don’t go nose blind to this magnificent sandalwood/incense concoction! I left silage to moderate, it’s not a massive projector but leave a gorgeous scent trail. I just got a compliment standing in line at the post office and I sprayed up 6 hours ago. I’m happy this stuff lasts a long time, not only because it’s expensive, but mainly bc it’s a gorgeous fragrance that makes me happy. 9/10 all the way

Batch - BB2 (2022) Ebene Fume is one of the best releases since 2017 This fragrance delivers everywhere, Incredible scent deep sensual woods. A very captivating scent the fits the Tom Ford brand unlike other new releases. Very unique and very long lasting 8+ hours, great projection for about 2 hours then it drifts into a great skin scent that still gives you whiffs in the air. Overall a strong 7/10 we need more releases like this

At first I was quite worried. I only smelled smokey sauna. But after wearing it a few times I’m in love. It’s woody, resinous, smokey and a little sweet in the dry down. I’ve worn this every day this past week. Can’t get enough. The longevity is good and you’ll think it’s a skin scent after 1 hour with no sillage but it’s you getting nose blind. People around you will notice you. This is a perfect scent for every day use.

OK, Tom Ford... You finally got me!!! I admire the brand and kept trying the fragrances whenever I could, but most are too much for me. Too heavy, too opulent, too sensual, too polished, too nouveau riche. But this one is a completely different story for me. Loved it at first try. It’s very closely connected with Serge Lutens’ Serge Noir, which is one of my all time favorites. Great work!

Unbelievably sexy and seductive and I almost never say that for perfumes. I think it’s a perfect unisex offering by Tom Ford. It’s smoky, peppery, leathery and dark. I love the Palo Santo note here. The composition reminds me of two perfumes I currently own. Santal Blush (the base) and the spicy balsamic Slow Dance by Byredo. Meant for cold winter nights and naughty thoughts.

It shares essentially the same “base” as Myrrhe does but reach that point a lot differently, Ebene focusing much more on smoky woods, that Palo santo is exactly what I wanted it to be this smells pretty much perfect if you want literally a woodier Myrrhe Mystere but I love both and will own this as well eventually, beast mode longevity

the scent is exactly like the smell of giving the skankiest bj ever and then having very sweaty and passionate sex whilst sandalwood incense is burning and it’s raining outside. not a bad smell, and it’s the type of perfume i like. as TF said, there’s a little bit of balls inside all his fragrances and here, i can definitely smell it.

Nice, elegant, opulent, calm, smoky, dark. What's not to love? EF gets you noticed without overwhelming those around you. Perfect blend of resins, woods, a touch of spice and leather. Great longevity on my skin. Ebene Fume was a love at first sniff for me; great for Autumn/Winter evenings.

I first tried it out couple months back. I wasn’t impressed. The other day, I was at the airport and sprayed it on. I reconsidered that old vibe. Now, I am impressed, I bought a bottle. I have been won over and then some. The scent and trail is something I need in my life. I love it.

I love wearing this in the super cold! It smells like FIRE!!! It's like someone started a fresh fire, then someone started throwing flowers & various spices into the flames creating a very intoxicating scent! This stuff seems like it quiet but it lingers so hard in the atmosphere!

More incensy and smokey than Santal 33, and something kind of crisp - ozone? Reminds me of Arizona and New Mexico, that smell of blue sky and burning mesquite. Outdoorsy cowboy version of Santal 33. Unisex to me, I really love it. Lasts at least a few days on clothes

Ebene Fume is luxurious and smokey, made with exotic woods that leave a beautiful winter sillage. worthy of the TF private label imo. very resinous, with just enough smoke and palo santo to lift it into the air and keep it from being oppressive.

This is by far the best woody scent fragrance I own. The sweet and wood combo is a great pleaser and this fragrance is potent. I recommend buying the gift set so you can get a 10ml travel size to go along with it for relatively cheap.

This smells alot like Creed Tabarome also hints of Santal Blush in there . I love it but since i own a good 2009 batch of Tabarome , having both would not be necessary thats how similar they are to me .

I bought this for my husband - it smells intoxicating on him. The performance is fantastic as well, I can always smell him from the room over when he's sprayed this on. It's smoky and seductive.

This is a MASTERPIECE i love all the complexity, the masculinity and the clear strong statement. I wore this at a funeral and it was very spiritual and in line with the surroundings! Love it.
