Electric Cherry

Cherry is one of my absolute FAVOURITE smells and I’ve always found it really difficult to find a fragrance that truly smells like cherry. I don’t know if I’m maybe a bit crazy but I always found lost cherry smelled a lot like campfire smoke so didn’t understand the hype. One day when I was in Sephora I saw Electric Cherry and ohmygod I had never smelled anything better in my entire life, and the cherry smell lasted for a full 12 hours. Immediately I was completely enthralled by this scent and I HAD to have it. Unfortunately since Tom Ford is insaneeeely over priced I didn’t end up buying it, but I did get it as a gift! Yay! The bit of disappointment I have with this scent is that the sample I tried in store was way stronger. When I got the perfume for myself it only lasts for about 3 hours at most. It smells soapy when it’s completely dry. I’m not sure what the difference is but it’s really sad since it was so perfect when I tested it. I’m hoping maybe the fragrance is just super fresh and needs to sit for awhile. Still really love it but I have to layer it over a sweeter, stronger perfume for any lasting scent.

I'm head over heels for this one! I've lost count of how many Tom Ford perfumes I've owned over the years, but this brand is definitely the gift that keeps on giving. Electric Cherry is like stepping into the cosmetics department of a mall in Bangkok or Singapore after a long, hot day during the dry season. The AC is blasting, and a mixture of sweet, delicate, fizzy, powdery, and musky scents invigorates you for the rest of the day. The cherry note here is more like a morello cherry with heaps of almond, reminiscent of those in a cold cocktail. As the fizziness settles, it evolves into a sweet, deep musky, spicy cherry with hints of amber and smoke, almost reminiscent of Angel's Share. It's not a gourmand fragrance—you won't smell like a cherry tart—and it doesn't have a medicinal note at all. Ladies, give it a try and think of it as Lost Cherry's far-flung cousin, returning from a worldwide adventure.

Electric Cherry is a fun and summery scent, inoffensive crowd pleaser. Definitely more fruity than the rest of the Tom Ford range. I think it smells great. There is definitely some Escada-vibes to it.. very fruity and sweet, and actually reminds me of Cherry In The Air (but less fruity). With that said, the prominent cherry note disappears within an hour and then you’re left with a sweet ambery floral. It doesn’t really smell high end or niche but as a lover of fruity/sweet scents I will honestly probably get this for summer just because I find it easy to wear and it is a great scent that can transition from brunch to going out. If you are looking for something that smells expensive/exclusive at this price range, this is probably not it, but Electric Cherry is overall a very pleasant scent at a premium price.

After my disappointment from Lost Cherry, I initially wrote off the rest of the TF cherry line and I was not interested in smelling it. However, I was at the perfume store looking to smell vanilla sex when it came out and the sales assistant insisted I smelled electric cherry. I was very skeptical, however, after the first sniff, I fell in love. It is different from the other traditional cherry scents on the market, EC has that lighter, more summery twist. It is the ultimate clean girl cherry scent. I thought about it for weeks before finally giving in and buying it and I fall more in love with every sniff. I’ve worn it around the house and to bed a few times and surprisingly, the longevity is definitely there. Im waiting for a special occasion to wear this one out!!

This truly is ELECTRIC cherry. They’ve made cherry fizzy, in a really unique and grown up way. The ginger makes it zing, perfect for sunny days. A little personal story if I may. I went to a cafe, dressed in my finest Lululemon get-up pre Pilates class. My hair was pulled up into a sleek, swishy high ponytail and I stopped just at the door outside to excitedly pet a dog. When I eventually pulled myself away from the dog I went inside, the barista chuckled at my joy from seeing the dog. The barista asked me what I was wearing, I told her it was Electric Cherry, and she said “The smell suits you down to the ground, you’re exactly how I imagined you would smell” So basically, if you’re a bubbly dog petting pilates basic b!tch then this perfume would be perfect for you 😂

After several trials, I must resign myself to the fact I love this fragrance. This is definitely the most tart and sour of the cherry trilogy but it still has a home. Very bright, and zingy... Electric, if you will, when initially sprayed. It smells of nail polish when sprayed heavily. It settles into a powdery and slightly creamy experience in the dry down. Admittedly, I’ve never worn more than one spray on each pulse point because it is very strong. Lately, I’ve been spritzing it over top Cherry Smoke (which I am madly in love with) and it adds a bit of attitude and femininity over the more demure tone that Cherry Smoke has. I don’t know when or where I would wear this fragrance on its own but I find it to be a great compliment to TF’s other Cherry fragrances.

I originally reviewed this fragrance almost 2 years ago with a moderate appreciation. Since this, this has become *officially* my favorite fragrance. Is it perfect? Not in its entirety but it’s perfect for me. The cherry is lovely. It’s playful, it is certainly electric, it compliments the floral notes from the jasmine. And then it alll dries down to this beautiful, magnificent ginger/jasmine musk. HEAVEN. The beauty of this fragrance lives in the dry down. To me, it’s really not that much of a “cherry” fragrance throughout. The cherry is definitely there but the ginger/jasmine/musk ensemble is the most prominent feature here. It’s fabulous. If you can appreciate a cozy, clean, elegant fragrance, you can appreciate this one.

I feel like the poor reviews for EC are from those looking for another strongly cherry concoction like Lost Cherry. If that’s what you’re craving EC may leave you disappointed since that’s not what it is. That said, if you’re interested in a fun twist on a fresh, bright, musk EC is absolutely B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! It’s a lightly cherry, lightly floral and sweet, fresh musk. It’s different and so clean smelling. I love it! Edit: After reading other reviews complaining the scent quickly disappears, let me just say I sprayed Lost Cherry on one wrist and Electric Cherry on the other five hours ago. Only one remains. I can still clearly smell EC. Being a sweet freshie musk, that’s not bad longevity, albeit the Tom Ford price tag.

Im a guy in my 30s for reference. I was just testing random TF frags and decided to see what all this Cherry was about. Im not particularly concerned if this does or doesnt smell like an actual Cherry. And while I can attest this can come off slightly synthetic, this was intoxicating stuff nonetheless and captivated my nose - in the same way that Juicy by Juicy had me when girls wore it out to the clubs when I was in college. And even if it does come off synthetic - its not in a chemical way - it still smells super high class - synthetic in an expensive makeup sort of smell. This is not subtle so not for everyday but its attention grabbing, vibrant, playful and seductive.

The first time I smelled this fragrance was at a TF counter when I came specifically to buy Lost Cherry. Initially I did not like electric cherry on my skin, my first thought was that it smelled juvenile. Update : Tom Ford has the cherry gift set which includes 10ml of lost cherry, electric cherry and cherry smoke. I bought the cherry gift set and this was truly my favorite. I have been using this everyday for a month and I have come to the conclusion that It’s the perfect fragrance for summer because it smells “fresh” and it’s not too overwhelming when the weather gets hotter. I would not buy a full bottle because the price is too steep for the scent profile.

Few years ago I came across smelling Tom Ford's perfumes and after smelling them all I find that Cafe Rose and Electric Rose caught my attention. However I wasn't able to buy Electric Cherry as they said it was out of stock, so I left with Cafe Rose. Recently around November they had restocked fragrances and had EC in stock, I bought it as I was worried it would be sold out again. I smelled EC after 3 years and still it is one of my favorite scents that even my friend who is obsessed with cherries said she fell in love with EC too. EC is a bright cherry scent which is perfect for the warm weather!

This is a gorgeous feminine floral take on Lost Cherry. The hint of maraschino red cherry recedes in the background, up front we get a well blended pop of colour, not all red but the other notes blend in so exquisitely this makes for a beautiful meld of ginger/cherry/musk and amber warmth. Distinctive and unique. The scent evolves as it mingles with skin, which is a lovely experience. It's light, it's young but it's mature at the same time. This is a gorgeous quality long lasting perfume. This scent is going to be loved by all. Longevity - thank you TF! - is good. Musky warm undertones.

I am obsessed with this fragrance. I tried it on at Sak's and rushed back the next day after obsessively sniffing my wrist for the rest of the night. I have had this (extremely expensive) fragrance for about a week and am consistently complimented on it (usually after hugging people though so I think the sillage must be pretty close). It definitely makes an impact - I had a man coming up to me all night last Friday to tell me over and over again how "delicious" I smelled LOL. I usually go for sweeter, crowd-pleaser type scents though so keep that in mind when reading this review haha~

LOOOVE THIS SCENT! It’s so interesting because I wasn’t sure about it at first, and for a long time, but it was one of the first samples I got after I started my fragrance journey. Now, it’s absolutely full bottle worthy! I love wearing it out to fun activities on summer evenings but it’s suitable for any time of day and probably most seasons! I just looooove it for summer and autumn with the cherry and ginger notes. It’s such a fun fragrance!

Electric Cherry is exactly what I thought Lost Cherry would be. It's a fresh, tangy cherry soda, the ginger and pepper spices it up a bit, but in general, if you like cherry you'll like this. Lost cherry is a dark cherry wine, and this is the fruity, youthful version. Both have their place, but you'll like one more depending on if you're looking for sophistication or fun. I love them both equally, but they are for very different situations.

Shucks!!! Why do I have to love Jasmine so damn much??? I received samples of EC and I REALLY hate to admit it, but it smelled so good on me (Don't throw tomatoes!). I know TF has lost his rabid mind with this ridiculous price and all, but as soon as the upscale department stores have their annual fragrance sale, I'll be reluctantly buying it. So, if any of you see a lady kicking and screaming at the Tom Ford counter, it'll probably be me.

I’m in love with Tom Ford’s Cherries. I had never ever considered Cherry to be something adults could wear. But this blew my mind. Although the cherry is explosive in the beginning and dabs off quite quickly, it leaves a very weak lingering smell of cherry that I adore. I would absolutely recommend this for any person who is looking for a fun and enjoyable fragrance. Summery, suitable for late night drinks, out and about town.

This review is a comparison for ALT Lightning Cherry and Tom Ford's Electric Cherry. TF Electric Cherry initial spray is cherry blossom and settles down to a faint cherry soapy smell. ALT Lightning version initial spray is mostly alcohol and settle down to similar to cherry blossom. On my skin they once they settle down smells similiar but initial spray is very different. I would say they are sisters but slightly different.

Finally a fluffy, sweet, musky cherry and indeed fruity-amber heaven. Cherry clouds in beautiful packaging. I will finish my 50 ml in no time. This perfume makes the time stop and transports you to heaven. The musky component is suiting and calms you. It's true that the cherry note don't stay that strong to long but Is still there mixed with the ambrettolide note close to the skin...a magical dry down.

The name says it all: it's a fizzy, electric, sparkly cherry. It's fresh, it's clean, it's the playful and happy go lucky sister of the Tom Ford cherry triplet. It's a bright red pantyhose with a light blue denim miniskirt, a chunky belt and fluffy blonde hair. She's Cherry Pepsi and rollerblades. Honestly, I'm obsessed with it and lucky to own a mini. But is it 250€ good? Meh.

Lost Cherry smells a bit artificial to me but this!!! is!!! SOOO good. Juicy, ripe and slightly sour cherry scent. This is HOW a “cherry” scent should be imo. None of that weird medicinal, formaldehyde-ish feeling. I don’t enjoy cherry perfumes that much, but I’ll get a bottle of Electric Cherry if I found a bottle on secondhand market lol

It smells great but disappear way too quick. The cherry scent isn't strong like Lost cherry one. Easy to wear. Smells playful , more fruity than Lost cherry and musk. Let's say it's not a unique scent at all. Definitely doesn't worth the high price . You have to test it first if you like it, you can buy it.

Ive smelled it a few times at Sephora and I love it just can’t justify the price point but I’ll probably fold eventually, it reminds me of good girl but better and with a prominent cherry note idk if it’s just me bcs I don’t see anyone comparing them and it’s not medicinal at all I need a bottle🍒❤️

Who the he... would compare it to the flat and dull Cherry in Japan, cmon? It's a sophisticated, kinda venom cherry smell, good one Much better than a boresome Lost Cherry or a vulgar Cherry Smoke Ofc, vulgar IMO - too heavy on jammy cherry which is repulsive

I really like her... and found this scent to be different enough from Lost Cherry and Cherry Smoke. This one is definitely the brightest and sweetest. It’s fun but still sophisticated and I can see any age wearing it. I don’t think it smells cheap at all.

This is like the more energetic, extroverted little sister of Lost Cherry. It's lighter, youthful, invokes feelings of happiness and being care-free. But for that price I think you can find something similar for much less $$$.

I really liked the first few minutes and thought it was promising. The tart cherry opening is nice but quickly fades to a strong floral. The dry down is unpleasant, like nails on a chalk board. I will stick with Lost Cherry.

I love this one! It’s cherry but also nutty and woodsy! I would definitely wear this year round even though it’s definitely more of a fall scent. I don’t like how expensive it is but there are dupes of this one!

I love to smell like this, this perfume is very wearable, smells so good and yummy. The best of three of them, and the only one i like. I’m considering a full bottle even though the price is very high for this.

This smells like luxadaro cherries and I really enjoy it! Lost cherry has a richness to it and is always cough syrupy on me. This one has a vibrancy to it that is very wearable. It's just too expensive!

This is SO good. Highly underrated in my opinion. Definitely agree with others that it doesn't last long but if you love fresh, zingy cherry with sugared citrus and a hint of musk, this is a great one.

I looooove this smell on my girlfriend, the cherry smell is super strong for me. The price however is a bit steep for what you're getting so maybe consider other sweet, fruity smells.

Zingy, fresh cherry with a nice musk. I like it more than its predecessor. Sweet and to the point. It also has this sugary amber undertone that I really enjoy.

I know people are not fond of this scent... It is way overpriced, but it is a lovely scent. Great sharp cherry opening, with a certain lightness to it.

I LOVE the first spray and the initial scent but it lasts for less than 30 mins on my skin. I feel like we should all be madder that it costs $400.

Yes its nothing groundbreaking and yes its overpriced, but it also smells good and luxury. I don't think it deserves all these hates.

this kind of smells like an air freshener, but i fear i really like it. i think tom ford fragrances are overhyped and generally i find all of them extremely underwhelming, but for some reason ive been wearing my sample of this for three days straight. im always disappointed when cherry fragrances lean more gourmand, but this one stays very bright- its linear on me as well so the slight tartness stays throughout, even while being grounded by the other notes. honestly ive been kind of tempted to get a full bottle. however its ABSOLUTELY NOT worth the cost. i would expect to find something that smells like this at a drugstore for 50 bucks, tops. tom ford prices across the board are completely insane, and i have no idea how theyve stayed so popular while pumping out generic hot garbage priced at $400 per 30ml. as much as i love cherry fragrances- sadly this one in particular- im going to sample more and only buy a full bottle of this as a last resort EDIT: just got a sample of Cherry Punk and it has the same qualities i like about electric cherry on my skin but with much more nuance. and for less money. thank god EDIT: directly comparing the two has made my opinion of electric cherry go wayyy down. smelling both and going noseblind to the unifying cherry note almost immediately, the difference between these two is stark. one is a beautiful deep, warm leather surrounded by sweet spices- wonderfully blended and only made better by the bright cherry. the other is a synthetic room spray that shot directly into my sinuses and forced a headache. albeit the cherry note is good imo, its the only thing going for this fragrance, it has absolutely no other qualities of value. i dont know how tom ford let this be released, comparing these two directly is honestly embarrassing.

"How does it smell compared to Lost Cherry?" you may ask. When it comes to the opening, it is what I wanted Lost Cherry to be: bright, fresher, vibrant, slightly tart, a bit of sweet cherry. I sprayed Electric Cherry and I immediately loved it. If I was judging the scent ONLY by the opening, I would give it 5/5 and it would be my favorite cherry fragrance on the market. The opening is leaning feminine to my nose. However, when it comes to drydown, Lost Cherry is the winner - it becomes lighter, less cloying, less suffocating, well rounded and playful compared to its opening. While Electric Cherry's drydown becomes more serious and unisex. At first sniff, the drydown appears to be woody, but what I pay closer attention, it's a combination of Ambrettolide musk and fresh, tart pink pepper that also adds a little spicyness. I can't detect much of the cherry in the drydown. What is "electric" about this scent? Probably the energizing, tart and a tad spicy combination of ginger and pink pepper. Does it remind me of any other scent? No. It doesn't have a lot in common with Lost Cherry besides jasmine sambac and cherry notes. Even the cherry note in both scents are different types of cherry. Electric Cherry would probably be good for daytime, nighttime, as well as going out. The opening of Electric Cherry is definitely my favorite among the Tom Ford's cherry trio. However, when it comes to drydown, Lost Cherry is my winner.

This is Cherry Jolly Rancher with Clean Linen Laundry to the MAX. It doesn't even feel like cherry after the first blast - it goes SUPER clean and you forget its cherry. It dries down to Very clean linen on me. Super clean, spotless, with cherry candy breath from afar, a mouthful of Nerds cherry candy and jolly rancher but like 5 feet away. It is NOT Cherry after a while. It is intensely concentrated dryer sheets that the cherry gets lost in. The cherry notes are not sweet in this, they try to be but the dryer sheets are such a sunrise kind of bright that it just overpowers the cherry. Cherry is on the edges. I could drop this sample vial in unscented laundry soap and my laundry would smell intensely clean, but not cherryish. A little goes a long way. Squeaky clean is the name of this one. Not at all what I was expecting. (which was jolly rancher on steroids with almond liquor and sweet almost too intense then defusing into other kinds of subtler cherries.) This is Laundromat Fantasy in black light with someone nearby chewing on cherry jolly rancher breathing 2 seats away texting on a phone while your clothes dry and then being under the influence - maybe a little more than microdosing...

Opening starts off strong with cherry and jasmine right at the forefront. In this respect, the opening is very feminine; it smells expensive. Thirty seconds later, white musk and ambrettolide come into the mix and the cherry and jasmine fade into the midground. If you asked me whether I smell more cherry or more jasmine at this stage, I would say jasmine is the main character but serves to boost the cherry scent in the mix. Projection is strong in the opening but begins to quickly subside as time goes on. This formulation certainly leans feminine, even with the addition of white musk and ambrettolide. I can see a woman in a well-fitting, black woolen coat wearing this. Scarf around her neck and wearing a pale shade of red lipstick. Ordering a cocktail at the bar on a cold winter evening. She sits alone. Her voice is low and smooth, but something about her projects power and sophistication rather than naiveté and shyness.

Currently I am trying a sample. To my nose it definitely smells better than Lost Cherry. Lost Cherry gave me cough syrup vibes, very medicinal. This is a much lighter fresher interpretation of cherry. I don't know why it reminds me of a cherry blossom and shakura fragrance(Something from MINISO, don't remember the name but the bottle was pink) I used to own as it doesn’t have those notes. Let's talk about performance, I will say It's okay, the sillage is moderate and last's for 6 hours. Not a beast mode, but everything doesn’t need to be a beast. It is also a safe blind buy for people who are hesitant about buying cherry fragrances . I like it but I am not sure I will buy a full size or not as it is very expensive.

Tom Ford's Electric Cherry on one part of my body, I put Tom Ford's Lost Cherry on another part of my body, and then placed this Lovefest Burning Cherry on yet another part of my body. I wanted to love all 3. Kayali won the match. Both of the Tom Ford's faded quickly away from my skin like a do-it-yourself fragrance kiddie making kit found at Walmart. Im going to do another skin test and do a rematch just bc I want the Tom Ford's to be a winner, albeit deep down inside knowing my body chemistry will yield the same results. Come on Electric Cherry, you are the new kid on the block with all the hype, plz dont let me down again. Give me sweet cherries for longer than 15 minutes.

This is fresh and youthful, and really something I could’ve used in high scool, but it still feels sophisticated. It is clean and musky on the skin, easy and fun to wear! The sweet cherry note is what makes it a bit juvenile, but I still want to wear it because of how bright it is! All of this may be because it reminds me a bit of Escada – Cherry in The Air, and it takes me back to the summer of 2013, a teenage life without consequences. I wish it was more of a dark contrast in this, but it is an easy and light cherry. But to say that this only lasts for 15 minutes is not fair. It is not great at its longevity, but I get around four hours.

I already own Lost Cherry and tried this today in store for the first time. I'm very happy I went with Lost Cherry. This is very, very spring/summer. It's fruity and lighter than most other TF fragrances. It's sweet (as expected) which I like, but the cherry in this fades into nothing much faster than Lost Cherry's scent. Overall, it feels the most artificial out of the cherry line. I like its smell but I wouldn't justify this price over a fragrances that fades so quickly. Other than that, it's girly, sweet, great fruity gourmand for the hotter months. It's also generally less sexy and dark than most cherry fragrances tend to be.

It is a straightforward, juicy sweet cherry scent. It's like squeezing a ripe cherry in your hand, and you can almost feel the sticky juice dripping onto your skin. I've been wearing the travel-sized version of Electric Cherry, and it's quite different from my usual fall season scent, Tom Ford's Lost Cherry. Don't get me wrong - Electric Cherry is a quality fragrance. However, when I compare it to the full bottle of Lost Cherry, I find Lost Cherry to be more sophisticated and complex. Lost Cherry has elements of different notes, including almond powderiness, which evolves and plays with your senses throughout the day.
