Ombré Leather Parfum

When I first bought Ombre leather, I had purchased a travel sprayer of the EDP and I got another complimentary sample of the Parfum. Upon comparing the two fragrances, I found that the EDP was more in line with my preferences and subsequently purchased a full bottle. I perceived a significant overlap between the fragrances, and I felt it was too Redundant to own both of them. However, since then, the Parfum has remained on my mind. Of course, here we are, and I have a full bottle of both the Parfum and the EDP, so I thought I’ll write a review on the Parfum as well. As mentioned in my review of the EDP, on the first spray, the Parfum comes off tidally airier than the EDP, which is surprising, given that the Parfum flankers typically leave a darker and denser impression. However, it’s reverse in the case of Ombré leather. The presence of violet leaf and cedar gives an ozonic quality to the OLP, contrasting with the EDP’s captivating cardamom note. Upon drying, the signature leather of OLP emerges. Despite containing the note of jasmine, OLP feels significantly less floral when compared to the EDP. Notably, it maintains its ozonic essence over time, bestowing a lightness upon the leather in the fragrance that is absent in the EDP. This is how the fragrance carries on in the base, perhaps becoming a touch more woodier, and I don’t get any tobacco from this whatsoever. Regarding performance, the projection is significantly more reined in compared to the EDP, although it is not weak in any way. It has a decent amount of silage and has a prominent longevity of approximately 7-8 hours on the skin. However, as a skin scent, it extends beyond 12 hours, persisting until I take a shower, with occasional wafts emanating throughout the duration of the fragrance. My experience is with batch number A65 (2025 batch). In my opinion, the EDP was a 10/10, while this fragrance is more like an 8.5. I strongly prefer the EDP due to its unapologetic nature. However, I acknowledge that the Parfum is more suitable for everyday wear due to its lighter and more airy composition. Notably, the leather in this fragrance feels smoother than the EDP, despite the EDP itself being smoother than Tuscan Leather, which serves as the inspiration for this DNA. I think it would be better suited if this was the original release and the EDP would’ve been released as a Parfum version instead.

Ombré Leather Parfum is still a dark leather fragrance, but now with a good amount of florals, unlike Ombré Leather EDP, which only Jasmine. Ombré Leather Parfum is more everyday wearable fragrance for the man who's got a little tough and dark side to him. The Ombré Leather EDP always gave me "street thugs" vibes. Ombré Leather Parfum, has more of a "confident man in control, wearing a leather jacket" vibe for me. Its lighter scent with violet leaf and more woody notes makes it less "threatening" so to speak. Some YouTubers say it's a Suite and tie version of the EDP. But let's be real. If you're wearing a full suit and tie, you don't want to smell like leather. That's silly. Both the EDP and the Parfum are casual to semi-casual. I purchased my bottle to wear when I ride my motorcycle, wearing all my leather motorcycle gear. I used to wear Ombré Leather EDP, but it's a bit much, and i'm not riding like the devil's chasing me anymore. In the opening, i get leather, violet leaf, and Jasmine. I would Not go as far as calling it aquatic, as stated in the accord list. But I have heard reviews (which i never trust) say it's aquatic or watery. I mostly just get leather and florals. In the mid, i unfortunately, can get a faint "smoking cigarette" scent. Not an attractive note in anyway. But it does give a slight "bad boy" vibe. It's only present for a short 20 minute period somewhere between 1-2 hours in. Some woods are also more detectable, and tobacco makes itself just a little too apparent for my taste. Dry-down is mostly woods and leather. And it's Good. It will give anyone within a forearms length a whiff, even 4-6 hours in. In the very late dry-down (12+ hours and on), it's just Spectacular! Mostly violet leaf, with leather and jasmine underneath it. Lasts for 24+ hours as a skin scent. Where: casual to semi-casual. Despite what YouTubers say about it being a suite and tie fragrance, I say it's absolutely not. When: all year, really. Except for the warmest days. Day and night time. Even going out, but Not first dates. Who: This leans very masculine on me. I'd say age 30's and up will probably be right. Personal score: 9.5/10. I bought a bottle to wear when I ride my motorcycles during spring, summer, and fall. And for that, it is perfection.

As I get older, I find myself more and more appreciative of warm leathery scents, and honestly Ombre Leather, parfum edition, epitomises all I love about this note. The opening is so reminiscent of snuggling into a newly minted leather car seat. It is enveloping sun-warmed leather; smooth and photorealistic, with a creamy floral undertone that becomes more pronounced the longer the scent develops on my skin. At that point, the strong leather accord fades, and the twinkling notes of jasmine with watery violet leaf really come into focus, marrying beautifully with an earthy orris heart pulsing and constant like a heartbeat in the depths. There’s little sillage to this scent but it lingers on my skin for a very long time. The reviewer who compared it to Ahmed Al Magrib’s Leather is spot on; the two scents are incredibly similar. However, Leather opens with strong vegetal notes that shimmer on the top, only later becoming Ombre Leather’s cute younger sibling for a while. Later still, it thins out and sits lighter on the skin in drydown. And crucially, it misses altogether the warm creaminess of Ombre Leather, which is what really drew me to this scent in the first place. Again it’s only the Parfum that gives this a lovely rounded quality to the fragrance that is missing from the EDP, which I also have. With such an extensive perfume collection already, I’ll probably end up gifting the EDP version to my husband or a friend. But the parfum? No. That’s a keeper.

In short, I'm obsessed. I'm headache-prone but I love a leather scent, which can be a difficult combo at times. This elicits no headache which is wonderful (I haven't tried the EDP as I've heard it can sometimes elicit headaches). The scent bubble is beautiful: soft, slightly powdery and floral, but still very unisex. A cloud of orris, violet leaf, jasmine, and some nondescript pleasant woody notes. Somehow tenacious without being super strong. The leathery notes stick closer to the skin, which is great to be able to go in for huffs of it, without forcing this more controversial component of the scent on those nearby. The sillage is that fantastic balance of strong and likely to be caught in whiffs here and there by those sitting nearby, but without filling a room and suffocating others. It leans more mature, but that shouldn't stop anyone in their twenties wearing it if you like the scent. It is probably too sensual for a work environment, but perfect for dates, parties, and time with partners. Not sure how it goes in summer heat, but the depth and richness of it do feel more autumn/winter/nighttime in vibe. While it's not cheap, the discounter price is very reasonable for the quality, and you only really need 1–2 sprays.

Ombre Leather Parfum is a leathery, floral and woody fragrance. It has a slightly fresh opening, a little citric and ozonic, although the bitumen leather accord is immediately perceived, like shoe cream. As the minutes pass, the leather accord it moderates and increases a floral presence that makes this version of Ombre Leather more aromatic compared to the Eau de Parfum. Once reaching the drying phase, a relatively fresh leathery aroma is left, slightly spiced by tobacco. This fragrance could be used in both casual and formal situations, during spring, autumn and winter, in daytime and nighttime activities, it has poise and elegance. In terms of longevity, with me it has lasted about 8 or 9 hours, although its sillage has only been noticeable for the first hour, then it gradually goes down until it stays close to the skin, although the Eau de Parfum version has not been a monster either projection. Compared to Ombre Leather EDP, it is a slightly easier fragrance to wear contrary to what I thought, since it contains some floral and aromatic accords and is less spicy without losing the essence of leather and woods. Personally I liked it a little more.

The scent profile is amazing here, it's a smooth floral leather just like the EdP but unfortunately the performance is a bad joke! 👎🏻 Even the EdP version lasts longer than this one. 📉 The addition of tobacco, woody notes 🪵and cedar makes Ombre Leather Parfum a bit more masculine than the EdP version. However, they are both floral leathers and you can tell that they were made by a female perfumer (Sonia Constant), and I like the supple softness of it. 💜 💐 This is one of the most versatile fragrances ever! It can be worn literally for any occasion and any season, day and night! I prefer the scent profile of the Parfum as the leather here feels more well-rounded, while the EdP is much more sweeter. 🍬 They're both simply intoxicating! ✨ The only disadvantage it has is the performance, it's nothing to write home about, and you'll get 1-2 hours max if you're very lucky despite it being a "parfum" concentration. ⌛ A video review (& comparison with the EdP) is also available on my YT ▶️

This might just be the best standard line designer fragrance out in the market. I think generally the signature line of Tom Ford makes some of the most innovative fragrances for mass market consumption (Black orchid, noir extreme, beau de jour, grey vetiver, ombre leather), and at affordable prices, you'll find these at 35% off more often than not. Smooths out all the rough edges of the EDP, a beautiful creamy floral leather. Opens up with the "new car" accord, which further envelops with the creamy powdery bliss of violet, orris and jasmine, only to end up with a masculine and sensual drydown of Cedarwood and leather. Leather accord stays persistent throughout the wear. Exceptional longevity, fragrance stays anchored to the skin for about 10 hours+. while being highly noticeable. Sillage is far from monstrous, expected from a parfum concentration, it is just enough. A man's fragrance should not be obnoxious anyway, in my opinion, of course.

This is my raccomandation if you want to start enjoying leather as a note, Sweet smooth floral leather, that's it. Very easy to wear, super versatile and very very mass appealing. This is something that even non leather enjoyer would like, infact i think this is currently the most mass appealing leather you can find in the market. To me there is a very big difference between this and eau de parfum and the Eau the ombre leather, those have a much more prominent note of leather here is much smoother accompanied by a sublte floral accord and a very smooth vanilla. the smell isn't actually a leather jacket or a leather shop like those in the capital or in Florence instead i feel like this resembles much more a horse, i used do horse riding when i was a kid and this is picture perfect the smell i remember... Longevity and Sillage unfortunately are just avrage. I wished it lasted a bit longer... 8.8/10

This one is special, You are greeted with a full blast of this mysterious and somehow black addictive leather note that is the start of the show, there is some slight florals in the background coming from that violet leaf and jasmine flowers, also the Cedarwood in the background gives it a nice base. This fragrance is for the sophisticated man, somebody professional with great confidence but also a badass biker with a 8 year old leather jacket and sunglasses can pull this one off too. NOT blind buy at all, test it to see if you like it first. This fragrance is ONLY for ppl that really like leather smell. Also this is only suited for cold weather and mostly nights. Got full bottle of this and I love it. It's more softer than the OG Ombre Leather which is definitely more manly with stronger leather with more spice but I think being softer is a good thing as you could easily wear this during the daytime and also at night. People saying it's not powerful must be crazy. I'm riddled with a cold at the moment and my sinus is blocked half the day and I can still smell this on me for six hours plus. Ombre leather isn't a fragrance you should blind buy as its definitely not for everyone's taste. All versions are made of very high quality and only have slight differences at the end of the day which will be subjective and down to your personal preference of what note you would want to be the strongest performing eg. wanting it all leather forward or have it supported with some easy going freshness.

This to me is a masterpiece of a fragrance by TF. I tried it in store and sprayed it on skin before walking around the mall for a few hours and could not stop smelling my arm. This one immediately caught my nose as oppose to the other dozen fragrances I smelled that day and since then I could not get enough of it! The notes here are pretty spot on to me, this is more than just a leather fragrance though. It is a HIGH quality, professional piece of art. It’s masculine but it smells sexy and disco-y if that makes sense. I feel like when I envision an outfit with this it’s almost always black. If price is an issue for you do not get this at retail in the store. Go to Joma, me personally got my 1.7oz for $108 at Aura and to me it is worth every last dollar. I will be getting the 3.4oz next.

Hello everyone I just bought it !! 100 ml 3.4 oz for 300USD , In Alaska, no tax ...As many other reviews the treasure is not after you spray the juice first moment ..its just oily ! and without life ..but after 10 minutes ! Woaa!! this thing is just awakening.. and on what way !! The cedar ,Iris ,Jasmine and yes the leather but very masked it’s underneath..few hours later... LEATHER finally !! very refine leather with the harmony of the flowers very classy, elegant like the bottle seems to appear as a tuxedo! Black and white ..Fabulous!! only problem is the package !! For 300 usd just that box really !! Come on !! Fragrance du bois has enormously more beautiful package for that amount of money.

I'm on my second bottle of the EDP, it's the only Tom Ford fragrance that I have bought a backup for. I have tried this a few times at a few different stores on paper and held on to the test strip for several hours and it always smelled nearly identical to the EDP. I had a thought today that I should actually try it on my skin and see how the dry down is different. The dry down is actually quite different, there's that unique sweet note in the back of the EDP that I love and have trouble identifying, it's much more pronounced in the Parfum and I absolutely love it! I'm considering trying to trade my full EDP for a bottle of the Parfum now!

This is marvellous💖 Ombre Leather EDP is my favourite leather fragrance of all time, and the Parfum edition is a pleasure to the senses, too. Yes, it does not project as much as the EDP, but sometimes this is what you need - it stays close, more intimate. I get a lovely tea vibe after about half an hour of spraying, then it settles to a softer leather scent. I feel it's worth owning both the EDP and Parfum because there are subtle differences, plus you will have two beautiful leather fragrances to call on😉 You might say the Parfum is more versatile or wearable. It is the lighter of the two. Have a wonderful day, people😎

The man is high on the sexy spectrum. He has a tasteful, intelligent, fit, confident, virile presence; in footwear with hard, heeled soles, wearing clean jeans, blazer, and crisp Oxford shirt. The fragrance wafts with the perfect level of sillage. It is new-store-on-the-hanger-leather while clean; smooth from root to tip. No confusing or alternate notes stand out. But what’s that slight raspberry (strawberry?) element that lifts the linearity into a pleasure zone? Especially as the day progresses? A metallic sphere only microns in diameter follows the man. One desires to enter and then remain within that sphere.

Smells incredible, much more wearable than the EDP. While it opens similar, it blooms into a jasmine fanfare with subtle tobacco and leather underneath, a much more complex ride than the harsh original. Also, here the patchouli is much quieter (for there is patchouli), arriving much much later and not bumming me out like it does in the EDP. The violet note is beautiful, akin to Portrayal Man, and so reminiscent of the original daddy, Farenheit. For a brand that is cynical, and does cynically churn out duff flanker and overpriced cash-grab dross, this one stands out as a, I'm gonna say it, a masterpiece.

This is... something that I have used more than 500ml... I had it since day 1 and abused this since then, 2021... meh year. I bought a recent batch, is... changed?! No more of that violet / orris iris punch... that creaminess and pure, clean... now it smells like a clone... or maybe is just my nose. Anyway, this is a legendary frag, a 10/10 on any scale you want. Haters can go back to their Latafas and shower on Friday, because Oud. We should bring back "duh" duh this is one one of the best frags ever. It's clean, lean, sophisticated and strong. A definitely 10/10 anytime.

man this is the goat of leather fragances. has natural leather smell, it leaves a nice jasmine floral with that oriental leather smell scent trail, upon dry down it creates a nice scent bubble, you can use it in office, meetings ,date , day and night, all seasons, even in summer with that fresh aquatic, ozonic , floral notes. i got a lot of compliments specially from women, if you want to get laid on Asian women, this and the og ombre leather are the fragances for you. best tip with this fragance is never overpray it, and better spray a little on black clothes

Has a strong opening of leather, it's an intense somewhat animalic leather in my opinion, a sharper leather, not a buttery one. Quite nice and authentic smelling. Pretty quickly the sweeter notes start to come out, definitely smell the jasmine and violet. Nothing sickly or synthetic about the sweetness, nice and balanced. For me it takes about an hour for the most woody and spicy notes to come out, however there is also woodiness in the opening. This stuff takes you on a nice journey. Verrry good longevity and a more moderate sillage. 8.5/10

I have both Parfum and Edp. Parfum - has a floral balance, Jasmine is done in a smooth way. The leather note, is further back, teasing, rather than in your face. If a had to describe what comes to mind when using this, in a word - Confident. EDP - Has a heavy full throttle leather, after an initial opening spice that is extremely short lived. The leather itself isn't the dark type, but more like new leather seats. It lacks a balance by comparison to the Parfum. If a had to describe what comes to mind when using this, in a word - Heavier.

Ombre Leather Parfum, where do I start! I love this fragrance, I was recommended by a worker and fell in love at first smell. As soon as you smell it you get hit with a lovely Iris and Violet, White Floral scent. It is a lovely balance between floral scents and masculinity due to the very inoffensive and soft leather and animalic notes. On my skin it drys down to a slight salty aquatic smell similar to Acqua Di Gio Profumo. Overall it smells quite amazing. Kudos to Tom Ford as I love masculine floral scents.

Quite a beautiful fragrance , very pleasant to most people men and women alike , only if u realy hate leather note u may have a problem with this , but in this case the leather its very well combined with subtle woods and floral notes making it realy addicting and pleasant in many many sitautions , its clean , its not overpowering by any means and it just works , if u have the occasion give this a try , for me this is the best tom ford has to offer and one of the best fragrances out there in general

gorgeous scent. i like this more than their other leather scent as it finishes with a much more balanced smell. if you enjoy the other Tom Ford fragrances but feel they might be heavy on the single notes, try this one. i must admit that the projection and longevity of this suck. no better description. beyond the first two hours you likely will not smell it, and after 4 hours its gone. definitely check your local FB marketplace or look for online sales. not worth the full price by any means

Original Ombre Leather smells like when you enter a leather shoe shop. This smells like you wearing a leather jacket with flowers(in this case violet and jasmine) embedded inside the jacket. I can't smell it after just 5 minutes on myself, it really overpowers the nose but if someone next to me sprays it, i get the waves of the perfume every 20 minutes, it really stays. It smells more of flower than leather and wood imo, but leather is always there. better version than original.

I sprayed this on my wrist in a department store while shopping and immediately returned the next day to buy the bottle – on my skin this dries down into a slightly floral, woodsy scent with a faint tinge of tobacco. The opening notes of leather give it a unisex quality, but I think I can smell more of the jasmine and violet with the initial sniff. It also layers wonderfully with a darker vanilla. I'm super excited to wear it more frequently as the weather turns cooler!

I had tried both the EDP and "Eau" versions of this and didn't like either. I would have never bothered smelling this if I didn't have a friend buy a bottle. Was shocked to discover I love it. This is really well blended, the florals give it a smooth soapy clean vibe but the leather and tobacco are there to make it just a little bit dangerous. Tom Ford always nails the tobacco accord and this is no exception. Probably in my top 3 for the house.

I love this scent! It smells like new leather and is slightly sweet. But its not worth the price tag. The longevity and projection are poor. It pretty much disappears after 2.5-3 hours. For the price tag, its disappointing. I dont think this scent is particularly complex. I like its simplicity and to my nose it doesn't smell synthetic. Great leather fragrance, unique, but fairly linear. There are probably good dupes for a third of the price.

This is the edp version done more smooth and refined! Little Less harsh and a more refined violet and cardamom touch to the lovely ombre leather dna. I have both and find this more wearable, cause it is more balanced. Parfum=Balanced leather with cardamom and a nice violet. Edp= Raw, untamed and animalic leather with spices in the depth. In conclusion, I love both edp and the parfum version, and they fill a spot in my scent collection.

Love it. The opening leather is a little much for me but as a leather fragrance I can appreciate it. But the dry down after an hour is incredible with the dry animalic leather becoming a sweeter, floral, violet and orris with those excellent woody, sweet tobacco and cedar notes. Have tried both parfum and EDP and agree, the EDP has a few more preferable notes of spice and patchouli. Probably buying that next.

First of all I'm loving it. I had been smelling the original Ombre Leather for some time at department stores but when I got my nose on the Parfum version of it I was sold. I had to have it. I spent sometime looking for it until I found it at Jomashop on sale for $165 using a coupon code that I found online. I'm so glad I added this to my collection. It's a full rich top quality smelling leather scent.

A more wearable version of Ombre Leather. Got more of an airy and ozonic feel to it, and doesn't quite strike with the same in-your-face leather. Weirdly, this doesn't feel like a perfume to me either. It's more of a vibe and general scent rather than perfume, if that makes any sense. It's quite different than the original, and both of them have their place. This one is more casual and more versatile.

I didn’t expect that I would like a leather scent at first, but after trying this, I realized we shouldn’t rate anything without testing it ourselves or relying on other people’s opinions. This fragrance has maybe the most beautiful leather note I’ve ever smelled. I don’t know how they did it, but after spraying it, it smells expensive, something I didn’t get even from other $300+ fragrances.

"This fragrance feels cold and distant. The smoky leather and soft florals are perfectly blended, but they carry no warmth. It’s sharp and unyielding, keeping everything and everyone at a distance. It belongs to someone solitary, someone who keeps their walls high and their circle small, content to let the world remain on the other side." This is an absolute positive review for me.

A more rounded out and balanced version of the original. I feel like the EDP comes across as more pungent and maybe old-fashioned, but the Parfum’s leather accord doesn’t smell overpowering and is balanced with subtle white florals and earthy orris that is more new car smell-like and i think is more wearable and pleasant, while the EDP feels like more darker and anamalic.

Beatiful leather scent done in a mature and sophisticated way. The scent has a slight old school 80s fragrance feel when they used to add leather and violet leaf into almost every mens fragrancces but made more modern with great longevity. Slightly less animalic and sweet than the edp. Definitley worth picking up if youre a leather fan and like old school type of scents

This one just smells so dang godly. You would think it would be overly leathery but nah its perfect and just smells AMAZING! What I love about it the most is that it almost has a relaxing feel to it, dont get hyped up like some other fragrances do and its great for a night out of relaxing or when you just wanna sit back on a cold day and chill in your man cave.

I tried this at Mecca tonight and I know exactly what it smells like. It's starts off with a pretty strong leather, but quickly fades into LV Imagination with a little bit of leather in the back. Smells absolutely incredible and makes for an easy to wear leather fragrance. I just wish it projected more like the original EDP. Absolutely fantastic scent though.

Man, I used to think the original was better but I’ve really came around to this one. Leather is still very noticeable but not as focused as the edp, beautifully balanced by the florals. Fresher and more versatile than the edp although I still wouldn’t reach for this one on hot summer days. Perfect for a night out or formal event. Excellent from Tom Ford!

Let it macerate for about 6 months after spraying. This this will come alive! It becomes a lot different from the original! Much more Violet leaf and Iris will come out. I even get the sambac Jasmine too. Smells a lot more like purple suede or pdm kuhuyan now. Amazing! And unique! More feminine mixed version of OL. very unisex. 9/10

I am wearing this on my left arm as we speak and the original (2018) on my right arm. Very similar but I would say if you want your Ombre Leather more wild, masculine and in your face then go with the original, and if you want your Ombre Leather more refined, classy and gentlemanly then go with this Parfum version.

I absolutely love this fragrance for the colder weather. Leather is very much in your face followed by notes of wood and a floral touch. Masculine, tough but in control and powerful. On my skin, it easily lasts the day but on clothes you can smell it for days after application. Great projection as well.

I've tested ombre leather and ombre leather parfum side by side, and on my skin ombre leather turns into a screetchy bitter mess, whereas ombre leather parfum turns into this smooth, powdery, leathery goodness. I didn't expect it to make such a difference, but I'm absolutely in love with the parfum.

This is what started it for me. When I frist smelled this, I was blown away for the first time in perfumery. The leather note is fantastic, and due to the florals, it is kind of a lighter version of Ombre Leather EDP. This more wearable than the other two and it is fantastic as a layering perfume.

Only worn it the once so far but my god it’s fantastic for me. The leather is amazing the dry down is brilliant, yes more suited to evening, winter, fall etc but I will probably wear this all year and in summer maybe just keep it to evenings and less sprays. Just a gorgeous scent.

As a high sensitive person this fragrance brings me into a realm where there is absolute serenity. The leather is not the dominant note at all but it's a unique and perfectly balanced harmony of all the mentioned notes. To me this is a true Masterpiece!
