Soleil Blanc

I went out on a mission to find a “refined coconut summer fragrance” for my woman, at her request, since she “trusts my nose”..so after a filter search here on fragrantica, I visited my familiar Tom Ford sales assistant in order to sample both soleil blancs as I already suppose, based on olfactory memory and her preferences on fragrances, that the usual suspect virgin island water is not something she would opt for..so this comparing review is based on single wear on me and take that into account before you decide for yourselves. Also take into account that the testing was done on a 26 degrees Celsius day.. Eau de soleil blanc starts with citrus before transitioning to a coconut creamy white floral fragrance. Soleil blanc on the other hand lacks this citrus, has a beautiful modest almond feeling(maybe the pistachio listed here?) Projection was better on eau de soleil without that meaning that it was not decent from the soleil blanc. I got constant whafs from both my arms throughout the day. I cannot comment on silage of both as it was a single spot spray—single wear but the one I eventually bought for my woman has great silage! Longevity at least 8 hours (on the 8 hour mark I showered) with the soleil blanc persisting on my skin even after showering for what it’s worth. Note here that despite the “eau” in the name of the bottle of one, they are both edp concentrations. I understand that to the average nose out there, and let’s face it, this is the vast majority of your encounters, this fragrance will give the impression of suntan lotion. But to be honest it is not. It is a luxury feeling coconut note, creamy, milky if I may say, almost gourmand, relaxing, dancing beautifully with pistachio especially in the soleil blanc bottle. Main differences between the two? The “sand” feeling (I do not know which note in the perfume emits this vibe but it is certainly there) is to me present in the eau de soleil blanc only and it is absent from the soleil blanc variant. It gives you the impression that you get the smell of thin light brown sand, warmed after being exposed to the sun, on your skin. Another difference is the fact that the citruses are more present throughout the lifespan of the eau de soleil blanc, prominent in the opening and taking a backstage in the drydown.This citrus presence is not easily detectable in the drydown of soleil blanc, which in turn is to me a better blend in total. Masculine or feminine? And in order to address the elephant in the room, are they both more masculine or feminine? Before I write down my opinion, it is interesting to tell you this: when I went to the sales assistant, who knows my preferences rather well by now, from a lot of previous encounters, and asked to sample those fragrances, her first response was “I do not believe this is something you would wear..those two scents might be rather feminine leaning for your taste”. Now before you judge her comment, I personally understand where it comes from, taking into account her preconceived notion about me based on my past purchases and I love that about her because this is truly a personalized and customized service from an employee who loves her job. She also went on to explain that the customer demographic of those two as far as sales go, is mostly women. To be clear fragrances have no genders and I do not judge people by what they like to smell. Based on note breakdown one would guess that maybe the presence of citruses in eau de soleil blanc is something that could make this more “easy” for a man to wear it and that is understandable. Maybe the eau de soleil is the fragrance of the two that men would prefer because of those citruses alone, creating a more airy feeling. For me, the only scenario I would wear any of them would be while on the beach, while on vacation and the one I would opt for believe it or not is the soleil blanc. It is more elegant than its sibling to my nose and if you decide to go down the road of coconut then rock it all the way. I truly believe that this fragrance, on a self assured man, relaxing on the beach, would be spot on and somewhat different from all the usual citrus smelling scents out there. And if you are in your 30s (I am older!) it may attract for you some new encounters because women like this scent! Now smelling this on a man in a dinner restaurant scenario for example, may feel at least to me somewhat out of place. Instead smelling this on a woman, especially in summer, regardless of the scenario makes me think that she is a woman of taste and elegance. Final thoughts: My woman fell in love with it when I bought it for her..She wore it a lot in summer..I loved smelling it on her..I think she smells elegant,sexy,alluring wearing this scent..Her, in a summer dress, warm breeze giving me whafs of this from her, makes me literally craving to go d@wn on her..this scent on her, this creamy almond feeling pistachio, white floral, coconut combination is truly an invisible magnet.. Is it versatile? For a woman yes, for a man maybe not so much. The only scenario I could rock this is while on the beach and I may even enjoy it like Virgin Island Water, the fragrance I usually opt for when I am on summer vacation. But by now the smell of soleil blanc to my mind is already an olfactory representation of her, elegantly dressed in white, in the summer night, smiling at me with her black piercing eyes.. Is it year round? No..except if one wants to take an olfactory trip while at home, during a winter day, anticipating summer holidays perhaps? Is it signature worthy?No..even for a woman I cannot picture this as a signature everyday scent..I truly don’t know why.. Is it worth the price asked? Eventually it is not a versatile all year round fragrance and under this scope for some it may not worth the price. But for the scenarios that this fragrance fits, the quality of this scent for me justifies the price. Trust only your nose..it was a single wear for me, but I experienced it enough on my significant half throughout last summer.. Smell nice and smile!!

Time for a confession of a dirty little guilty pleasure of mine: I like coconut sun tan lotion fragrances. There I said it out loud! - Oh the relief of not having to live in quiet shame any longer, but rather public shame instead! However, Soleil Blanc isn’t actually coconut sun tan lotion, it’s a tuberose sun tan lotion - but I hold, even with my perverted bias, that this is a very good one. The opening is striking and beautiful, an unexpected mix of spices in the form of waxy fruity and piquant peppercorns, cool and woody cardamom, zesty and effervescent bergamot, and an unctuous yet metallic sheen from heliotrope. Immediately the tuberose is already playing upwards, unleashing its diva headiness of creamy white florals and vanillics. As it’s steered in a slightly different direction by a tropical, banana starchy, and yellow floral ylang-ylang, we encounter the ruse: this could be easily forgiven for being mistaken as coconut. It’s not, but it’s a convincing illusion. However, it’s better because of the illusion since there is greater breadth and depth to this accord than had the brand simply chosen to have a heavy hand with a single or even double lactone material. As time goes on it becomes more convincingly tuberose. And in the skin scent is when the lactone(s) become more apparent as we get a creamy and vanillic amber that is surprisingly light weight, sunlit, easily wearable and breathable even in a humid and tropical heat. There is a slightly burnt quality to it, that smells a bit of reddish-brown sunkissed and hot skin thanks to a resinous benzoin note that is likely responsible for a lot of the vanillic quality, and a bitter and earthy tonka note as well. Lovely. This isn’t a quiet or restrained fragrance; people around you are definitely going to think you’re wearing a very potent and luxurious sun tan lotion. Tuberose is allowed to be its usual loud and brash self, dialed up to Spinal Tap 11, and the other notes belt with that volume as well, seeming to not struggle to keep up. Only later in the perfume’s life at the skin scent has the beach party switched from near-deafening dance music to bossa nova, but it’s always fun and playful and easy despite the volume at times. Though TF clearly aim this at their feminine market, my fellow men, don those swim trunks or boat shorts and that linen shirt and give this a whirl. I truly think this wears very well on a man in the right circumstances just as much as it does for a woman. It might’ve intended to be a Girl's Only Beach Club, but they’ve taken to the water's edge, pulled the Girls Only sign down, let the fellas join the party and turned the music up - and I think all of us agree that sounds like a good time.

I am a man who loves green fragrances, yet Soleil Blanc made me fall in love on a lazy summer afternoon, on a blotter at the airport. The opening is citrusy, made spicy by pepper. I have never perceived the pistachio note. The tuberose and ylang-ylang notes invigorate the coconut, which remains the dominant note in the heart and drydown of the fragrance. Incredibly, I started buying a few fragrances similar to Soleil Blanc, because it was love at first sniff, and I also agree with what many have said: Despite its beauty, there are many valid alternatives, and the price is very high relative to its performance. Beach Walk, for example, was released a few years earlier, and I don’t see all this much difference. So nothing new, but I cannot deny that it smells amazing and that it made me interested in this type of fragrance, far from my usual tastes. Beach Walk per esempio è uscito qualche anno prima e non ci vedo tutta questa differenza. Niente di nuovo quindi, ma non posso negare che sia buonissimo e mi abbia fatto interessare a questo tipo di fragranze ben lontane dai miei gusti abituali

This smells like the hot Sun warming bare skin on a tropical white sand beach! I’d spent many years searching for something exactly like this whenever it was released, and knew this was the one for me! It was one of my first big blind buys, and it smelled even more gorgeous than I’d imagined, and was everything that I was hoping for, and more! I’m a huge fan of this scent profile and beachy/coconut fragrances, although there weren’t a ton of them whenever this launched. At the time, the only others that were similar that I owned were Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, Bobbi Brown Beach, and Kate Spade Live Colorfully, all of which I still own and thoroughly enjoy! On me this opens citrusy and warm spicy with bergamot, cardamom, pink pepper, savory pistachio. The heart blooms with sweet tuberose, exotic ylang ylang, and lush jasmine. The dry down really shines as it intertwines tropical coconut, warm golden amber, vanillic tonka bean, and cozy and woody benzoin. The most prominent notes on me are the coconut, jasmine, amber, ylang ylang, and tonka bean. I have a mini bottle of the actual perfume itself, but I almost always use my shimmering body oil instead. I’m shocked that it performs almost as well as the perfume, smells identical (as it is TF Soleil Blanc, just the shimmering body oil version), and is only a fraction of the cost! It’s one of the few bottles that I always try to keep a backup of! Beachy, sweet, floral, warm, vanilla, creamy, woody, warm spicy, citrusy, feminine, sensual, seductive, classy, elegant, sophisticated, chic, luxe, charming, whimsical, dreamy, delightful, divine, smooth, alluring, tempting, addictive, cozy, comforting I spent years trying to find the perfect beachy/coconut scent in a perfume to wear during the summer. I was so positive about this one whenever it launched that I actually blind bought it! I was right, it was everything that I’d been looking for for so long! Even after owning this for almost 10 years, it’s still one of my most reached for fragrances, and one of the few that I always try to keep a backup bottle of! It’s such a gorgeous sweet and tropical coconut with sensual vanillic tonka bean, the golden warmth of amber, and cozy benzoin intertwined throughout. With a softly warm spicy opening of cardamom, pink pepper, and bright bergamot on a bed of lush and creamy white florals, and tropical ylang ylang. I get somewhat of a monoi oil vibe here too, which I absolutely adore (even though there’s no Tiare flower listed). It’s also giving luxurious sun tan lotion vibes, only better. Think lying on a tropical beach with the sun warming your skin. The first 5 I’ve mentioned here all have a similar vibe to Soleil Blanc, and they’re definitely worth checking out. Honestly, all of these are great scents, but Soleil Blanc, Sunkissed Hibiscus, and Sunkissed Goddess are my top favorites! I also love pairing the B&BW body care I mentioned with these other beachy/coconut scents. The most sunscreen like one of these is Bobbi Brown Beach. If you’re looking for something more monoi oil centered I highly recommend Yves Rocher Monoi Eau des Vahines, Bronze Goddess, or Lust For Sun. This fragrance is white hot sand mixed with ocean air. I imagine if two lovers spent the whole day together in a room with an oceanfront view, they would smell like this by evening. Soleil Blanc is divine. The initial “sunscreen” whiff adds an air of playfulness that draws the wearer in with flashbacks to happy memories of July days spent in the pool, before the other notes take over and the wearer realizes this is something else entirely. The coconut dry-down is creamy, and its balance with the floral notes ensure the coconut does not become too lactic or saccharine as coconut typically does. The unsung heroes of this fragrance are the amber and wood notes. These two blend together in a manner that makes Soleil Blanc truly unisex. Most believe this is a more feminine fragrance, though I strongly encourage all to wear this. If Achilles were not prideful to a fault, or marked by constant battle and brutality (as the myth goes), I imagine he would wear this. It is sunny and clean and warm and coastal. The sillage is intimate, though stronger when worn in the heat. Any fragrance costing this much is frankly immoral, though I imagine this is a one-time buy. Not because it isn’t tempting enough to be worn daily, but rather, it deserves to only be worn during special moments. On days spent with someone close enough to catch the sillage, or your third night in a row clubbing in Ibiza, trying to revitalize yourself with a scent to remind you that you are “it.” The “yacht club” reputation that this fragrance has feels far too cold for what it actually is. The coconut, wood, florals, and faint spice ground this fragrance in a way which evokes Venus rising from the waters, not a crowd of people wearing Loro Piana, drunk off Sauvignon Blanc. You could probably only afford this if you have a yacht club membership, though. 10/10. Soleil Blanc crosses my mind every day.

The idea that all TF fragrances are labeled as unisex is really funny to me. This, much like Lost Cherry, is a feminine scent. Of course it can be worn by men, but it's still a feminine scent. With that out of the way: I really like this (enough to own a very expensive bottle) but not as much as others. This is a very safe Tom Ford. It's almost sweet but barely, the florals even out the top notes quickly and the main emphasis is the coconut. This is definitely a fragrance for the warmer months, I don't see it making sense during fall or winter. I personally see it more as a daytime/sunset scent for spring and a nighttime scent for hot summer nights. It's also sweet enough to be appealing to the gourmand-fans without being cloying and while maintaining an elegant profile (which a lot of coconut fragrances fail at). It's definitely refined. I get why some people get sunscreen from it, but I really think it's a much more complex fragrance than that. All things considered, it is a relatively safe blind-buy for those who enjoy vaguely sweet, light coconut vibes, but it has a weak sillage and longevity for the price point it's at, so definitely keep that in mind. This is one of those you'd have to douse yourself in to get compliments out of it, and dousing yourself in it probably costs a few bills each time. It's a bit like Céline perfumes with the whole "the intimate sillage is part of the sexy wealthy appeal", so if you want a loud summer going out fragrance I don't think this is it. Also, seeing as it's a perfume for the hotter months, I'd mostly assume most people wearing it will be attending outside events where its sillage will be even worse lol. I wear it to work and chic outtings in the summer but it's not one of the big compliment getters, it's more of an elegant, subdued one.

This is the most perfect, expensive beachy, millionaire-with-a-yacht sun-screeny type scent. It's arguably the only Tom Ford scent worth buying for how incredibly long-lasting and projecting it is. The sillage is huge and the scent trail follows you like a delicious shadow. To the people who think this doesn't last or leave a scent trail; I had someone follow me around winding corridors sniffing the air trying to figure out where the smell was coming from, until they got to me. I go nose blind to this as soon as I leave the house, but it fills up my office at work so when people walk in they comment on how great it smells. Often late in the day, I've forgotten I even have it on, and someone working a check-out counter at the grocery store and in the queue at the grocery store (both different times), standing at least a foot behind me have commented on how good I smell. NOTHING lasts and projects from me, (like literally, I never get compliments or told that people can smell me), but this one does project like mad, in both Winter and Summer (I think it works for any occasion), and it's a wild compliment getter. So, I think if you find it's not lasting, you've become nose blind, because this is the only scent where I get 1. any compliments at all (my skin eats all other scents for breakfast) 2. people can smell me from afar, and 3, it'll be late in the day and people will still be telling me I smell incredible. And PS: I am an under-sprayer. Literally one shot on either side of my neck, one on each of the insides of my elbows, and one walk through sprits. So, I would call this a Summer Beast Mode fragrance, I'm afraid, it's worth every penny for me.

The joy of summer in a bottle, Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford is probably the absolute point of reference. It's not just a perfume; it's a vibe that immediately evokes private beaches, luxury sunscreen and the warmth of the sun on amber skin. The opening: A Spicy and Crunchy Twist Unlike many "sunny" perfumes that focus entirely on citrus fruits, Soleil Blanc opens in a sophisticated way. The pistachio gives an almost "gourmand" but dry creaminess, while the cardamom and pink pepper add a spicy and fresh touch that prevents the fragrance from becoming too sweet right away. The heart: The triumph of white flowers, the fragrance releases its sensual soul. Tuberose and ylang-ylang create that typical "solar" smell that recalls exotic flowers warmed by midday. It is a rich, narcotic bouquet but made airy by jasmine. The Base: High Class "Suntan Lotion" The real protagonist of the finish is coconut, but forget the synthetic aroma of sweets. Along with tonka bean and amber, the coconut here is creamy, lactonic and enveloping. It's the smell of skin after a day at the beach, dressed in fine fabrics. Blanc is the epitome of relaxed luxury. It is a fragrance that does not scream, but whispers "holidays in the Seychelles". Extremely realistic, refined, unisex (also much loved by men looking for something different from the marine classics). A little tip: If you are looking for a lighter and even cooler version for extremely hot days, there is also Eau de Soleil Blanc, which emphasizes the citrus notes in the opening.

I tend to always associate my favorite perfumes with one gender fit only, but this one would go amazing for both men and women. Tried this around 4 years ago and it was love at first sight. whenever summer hits, I feel like something big is missing if I don't have this in my collection to wear in the daily. such a lovely coconut and sunscreen scent. you get both of the smells equally with this. it's luxurious, it's sunny, it's creamy, with a rich coconut... noone can ever go wrong with this all time favorite of many. never boring, never generic. definitely a scent that can be gifted to the most random person you ever know and they would be happy to receive such a beauty, regardless of anything and everything about their style and gender. could be best for 28+ to 50- in ages as it'd hit the best for the people within that age range. other than that, it'd definitely surprise me if I made 100 people test this and even a single person in that crowd didn't like it. some would LOVE it, some would like it at the very least, but noone would pass on this. it's that much of a hit that still never comes off as mainstream or generic. love it, such an investment worthy perfume!

I live an oxymoron. I've only been on a beach ... one time, in nearly 40 years of life. I prefer my urban dwelling that is surrounded by the Smoky Mountains. But, give me a tropical, coconut cologne and I suddenly become a beach bum on my balcony overlooking non-stop traffic. Maybe that's one of the best parts about fragrances? I'm stuck where I'm at for awhile and these beachy scents let me get away ... sort of. Most of the problems others have noted with this Tom Ford are not happening to me. I have a very nice, somewhat sweet coconut with some light florals floating around behind it. I don't know if I would buy a full bottle but I find scents like these are worth buying a 1.7 of or if you have a trusted decanter to sell you a 20-30 ml decant of. I'm kind of stuck on whether I like this or Creed's Virgin Island Water better. I do think the VIW is more masculine than the Soleil Blanc but both are now in my spring/summer rotation. Check back in September, I'll be all out of these two and the heat of the summer will have me begging for cold weather and I'll be swearing off coconuts for good. It's a cycle, you should try it.

to be honest, this shit smells as expensive as it actually costs HAHAHA like jokes aside, this smells like rich coconut summer, so elegant, with a powdery smell that even if you hate the note you will like in here, and is 100% feminine, there's nothing unisex on this fragrance to be honest, wish it had more coconut, but it is there, coconut, elegant, solar, so pretty, i dont get the sunscreen, its more like a expensive hoe with the most expensive coconut and elegant frangance on an all inclusive 5 diamond resort, as someone who is able to smell the batches diference on perfumes and the quality of ambroxan, this one is my safe go to, buy THIS ONE is you are a COCONUT LOVER, all the other coconut options have that nasty butt burned sugar smell, but this one is just elegance and coconut skin with florals in not a nauseus way, as someone who CANT STAND flowers asi de orange blossom one and a few more, this one is just perfect, and if you like gourmand, just layer it with a cream perfume or whatever you want to add the sweetness, but this one as is it, smells expensive

For me, the stars of the show are the white flowers, and the coconut gives it a bit of an edge, giving some of its coconut texture to the flowers. In that sense, it’s not too “simple” of a fragrance as some people have noted about this one, and as some of the Tom Ford Private line could be judged for. I love it! As far as beachy, coconut, sunscreen fragrances are concerned, this is definitely the longest lasting one, because I find that coconut fragrances seem to be quickly fleeting. This one will definitely last you for a good 8+ hours. When I tested Eau de Soleil Blanc before, when it was still in the private line bottles, I found that the scent was very similar to this one, but the performance of that one was pathetic. So I’m really glad to find that this one does have the longevity. For a Tom Ford fragrance – and TF price tag – that’s the least you can wish for. Of course it’s a summer, daytime fragrance. But very lovely and enjoyable.

This is summer done right. Soleil Blanc opens with a creamy, smooth hit of coconut and ylang-ylang — lush, warm, and instantly transporting. It smells expensive (because, well... it is), but more importantly, it feels like luxury. Think: designer sunscreen, private villa, golden hour. It’s soft, sunlit, and perfectly androgynous. No sharp citrus blasts, no generic “blue” summer nonsense. Instead, it’s warm skin, a breeze off the sea, and the faint nuttiness of pistachio keeping it interesting. There’s some amber grounding it, but nothing heavy. Just glow. It wears close, lasts surprisingly well, and always gets compliments. Too pricey for what it is? Probably. But if you’re going to splurge on something that smells like a low-effort, high-glamour holiday — this is it.

Kilian Sunkissed Goddess and Tom Ford Soleil Blanc live in the same golden summer world, but they don’t feel exactly the same to me. Soleil Blanc feels more polished, more dressed-up, more “white linen at a luxury resort.” Sunkissed Goddess feels softer, creamier, warmer — like sun-kissed skin after a long beach day. Both have that beautiful holiday mood, but in different ways. Tom Ford is the elegant version. Kilian is the more sensual one. If Soleil Blanc is a chic beach club with a white dress and gold jewelry, Sunkissed Goddess is warm skin, loose hair, sunset light, and that quiet feminine glow. For me, both are not just summer perfumes. They are perfumes for when you want to smell like expensive skin, sunshine, and a holiday you never want to end. 🤍

I keep thinking there isn't anything special about this fragrance, yet I keep coming back to it. Yes, it's a fairly simple sunscreen/beachy fragrance, but it's so well done and so lovely. The notes are not too sweet nor too synthetic. It's always pleasing to spray on your skin. The notes are incredibly well blended. This is quite similar to the Eau de Soleil Blanc, except it's more vanilla forward, a bit richer and longer lasting. I think anyone could get away wearing this and I like that I don't need to be in a certain mood to enjoy it. If it's too rich for your wallet, the Eau de Soleil Blanc is more lime forward, a little more unisex and definitely more budget-friendly but extremely similar.

This was the first summer time fragrance that I purchased. When I first smelled Soleil Blanc, I was immediately smitten, and that continues to be the case even to this day. This is by a mile my favorite exclusively warm weather fragrance, and a must for every vacation I go on where I’ll be at the beach. Every time I smell this fragrance I’m flooded with so many good memories, so of course it I might be a bit biased in my review, however I think most would agree with me when I say this is undoubtedly a 10/10. To me this is a must have for any collection and a masterfully crafted work of art done by Tom Ford.

I deeply hope some arabian house manages to create a clone of Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc that can overcome all its weaknesses in sillage and lasting performance. I absolutely love the delicious hints of coconut and ylang-ylang. Delicate, unique among the vast majority of men's summer fragances and perfectly solar in its combination of white and yellow notes with slight details of ambers and pistachio completing the blend. Wonderful, perfect for both men and women that want something androgynous, unique and soft in its profile while remaining wearable under the warmth of the sun.

Creamy/floral perfume, where tuberose is the master of the composition. Enveloping perfume although shy, and in particular the Ylang, which I like so much here, gives creaminess and vivacity. I do not agree with those who say that it reminds of sun cream, many associate this perfume with a 'sun cream' effect, in my experience, I say that it is a very summery perfume, but that it has a strong and enveloping character. Perfectly unisex, Sillage a little shy 6/10, longevity 5-6 hours. Fantastic perfume! Sillage : 6/10 Longevity : 7.5/10 Scent : 8.5/10 Overall : 8.5/10

Absolutely gorgeous scent. It feels elegant but also low-key. Also gives the wearer a sophisticated, chic and beachy feel. Though, I don't really get how it can smell like sunscreen. Heavily smells of a sweet and flowery creamy coconut. After a while (4-6ish hours) it gets to be a mellow flowery scent. Unisex leaning feminine, to me. A man could wear it if he's comfortable in it. See it as more of a summer scent, but could definitely work in the late spring or even very early autumn. Overall, I love this one. Will most likely be my summer scent for years.

I know most people find this to be a ‘sunscreen’ scent. But on my skin, it’s very tuberose forward. The opening of this is so sweet, creamy and nutty. The pistachio is front and center. I feel the cardamom carried through into the mid with the tuberose. This is really a tuberose focused fragrance- a spicy tuberose, slightly creamy. As it dries down, the coconut and tonka shine. The coconut is on the drier side- more the husk than the flesh. I’d wear this to go out in the afternoon or evening from late spring, through summer and into early fall.

I’m Greek and let me tell you, this smells EXACTLY like what one smells like after a dip in the Mediterranean sea! A lot of people in the comments seem to think that it smells like suntan lotion but it’s so much more than that! It smells like sunscreen, salt, sand, and sun-kissed skin on a straw beach mat. How one can call this a basic scent is beyond me! It’s literally summer in a bottle. It’s by no means comparable to Bronze Goddes, or anything else for that matter. I’m in love!

When i smell this scent I think of summer. Something about the base of sandalwood brought up by light florals and at last complimented by pistachio, cardamom, and light spice and citrus makes something to remember. It sits beautifully on the skin and provides an experience for the nose that lasts a long time. Like any fragrance I would recommend smelling it first before making a purchase. the best way I could describe this scent is a sunset on the beach— summer in a bottle!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! It smells exactly like suntan lotion, straight up. Sexy! Sultry! Only critique is that it lacks longevity. Although I love it and it smells like summer at the (nude) beach, I would not actually wear this to the beach (yes I wear perfume at the beach). I think the scent of Soleil Blanc puts me in a longing state. I will wear it in the heat of the city or at the park with the family when I am *wishing* I was at the beach. Aaahh!

i have this, and i just got back into wearing it, because i'm seeing all these "blanc" scents resurface. let me tell you, it's a powdery, lactonic, floral dream, but not as feminine as you'd think. it's kind of haunting if worn the right way, definitely lives up to the "blanc" in its name... gorgeous. it is a bit sunscreen-like, but i don't really get that. it's more like a melancholic summer fragrance. think "summertime sadness" by lana del rey.

This perfume perfectly executed what so many others have attempted. So distinctly summery without just smelling like sunscreen, a beautiful coconut scent without being overly sweet or artificial, youthful but not cloying. Just a beautifully formulated text-book summer scent. Not ground breaking but very well done. I see complaints about longevity but I am a fragrance vacuum and this lasted on me all day and got lots of compliments.

Tom Ford soleil blanc was my first ever fragrance, Iwas gifted it when I knew nothing about fragrances yet I still remember wearing on a hot tropical summer’s day. I think it is probulay one of my favorite beach/island/boat scents in all of perfumery. The perfectly executed coconut aspects are amazing. However, the smell of the presence of vanilla inside this fragrance seem more noticeable than what Fragrantica displays.

One of my all time faves. Sunscreen, sandy skin, tropical ocean breeze and pure indulgent luxury. Imagine staying at an all inclusive luxury island resort, you're sun-kissed and your hair is in loose beach waves, you're getting ready for dinner in your $1000 kaftan and putting on your diamond earrings with the gentle whisper of the days sunscreen lingering around.. this is what this smells like, bougee!

a very safe scent if you like something light and clean. for me it starts very floral and alcoholic and then dissipates into a pleasant light coconut, floral, sunscreen scent. I know not everyone likes the sunscreen smell but I love it here as it’s not overpowering at all! Longevity and projection could be better for the price point but to me this feels like a “quiet wealthy” vibe lol. Love this scent.

To me this is a great scent to wear when you want to smell good but not be obtrusive and not come off like you are trying to hard. This was a choice I made recently for and a Spring late afternoon on the beach event where I didn't want to announce myself with scent but did want anyone to smell a soft loveliness if they got close enough. My most complimented fragrance yet. Totally unisex, I gifted a bottle to my 18 year old daughter too. Mega performer can smell it all day. More suited to summer holidays and bbq’s. Works well for a sophisticated evening. Recently wore it to a summer wedding and several people asked me what I was wearing. Sweet, warm and floral with the coconut giving expensive sunscreen. My 2nd bottle.

I got this because Im a sucker for coconut scented things. Although it has some coconut I primarily get the floral notes. Though I was hoping for more coconut, I love the floral. It opened my eyes on the world of floral notes. Directly under the nose I get some sunscreen notes. Not the cheap beach vacation scent but a tame and pleasing sunscreen. This screams summer and I love it.

It smells like watching the sunset on a boat with friends after a full day under the sun. Not quite a night scent, not exactly a sharp midday one either. It perfectly matches an effortless white linen and straw hat kind of mood. The more I smell it, the more it makes me miss summer. Unfortunately, considering the price, the sillage and projection remain rather average.

I love this summer fragrance as an alternative to traditional blue for fruity scents! Smells soft and coconuty but not like sunscreen incase you’re worried. For people saying ‘I have body sprays that last longer than this’ that is NOT my experience! While it’s not projecting strong at hour 7-8 it still is very much present intimately with one spray on skin.

My favorite summer fragrance of all time A bit too much ylang ylang and bergamot on the opening in my opinion but once it dries down it is heaven-sent A bit feminine leaning but does it even matter with how good this is??? The edt is better in my opinion (a touch more masculine) but performs worse than this and this already doesn’t perform very well

My all time signature and favorite smell in the world. Takes me always to a hot summer day waiting for the sun to set having coffee by the beach listening to melodic house. Summer in a bottle .. I wear it all year long it's classy yet refreshing .. Compliment magnet! In fall and winter I combine it with it's sister Soleil Niege and it's heaven.

One of my favorite Tom Ford fragrances ever, which is really saying something about the artistry that goes into their formulation as I typically don't love pistachio or cardamom. This fragrance is just beautiful. It's bright but also soft and smooth, calming but somehow still uplifting. It smells like expensive sunshine.

Wow. I got a tiny sample from Sephora. I would love to get my hands on a full-size bottle of this. Or a really good Arabic dupe lol. At first spray, this perfume smells very uplifting and minty to me, even though mint is not one of the notes. Coconut florals with a hint of pistachio. Summer vibes for sure.

I tried on skin at dillard's the scent profile is beautiful, but I feel is way too overpriced, I wish they had an extrait de parfume for this it will be the perfect fragance if they were to do that, if someone knows a good replica of this but with higher concentration send me a private message please

Still my favorite among all the "sunscreen" like fragrances out there, with Eau de Soleil EDT coming in second for me. The creaminess/nuttiness from the pistachio is what's missing from all the "dupes" I've smelled. I'm not big on Tom Ford fragrances but I will always have a soft spot for this one.

I was initially skeptical about the coconut note and the reviews I read that it reminded me of sun tan lotion. So i decided to try a sample on my arm. OMG it was love immediately. I love the creaminess, the ylang floral notes mixed with the pistachio nuances. I can’t help but kept sniffing myself.

I love wearing this in hot weather, a super fancy coconut scent that I can’t get enough of. I love it very much but it is at the end of the day a beachy scent. If it’s not what you’re after you will be disappointed. If a nice warm tropical fragrance and I love it for what it is!

tom ford just a ridiculous brand for the price point but this shi smells like sunscreen and I am a huge fan of sunscreen scents. Even I was using a shower gel before just because of the sunscreen scent. It reminds me of the summer and make me feel happy

An incredible creamy sun-screen scent. It reminds me of summer so much. It is easily my signature for summer. I think it is somewhat unisex, it kinda leans more into feminine but I've had no problems wearing it as a guy. Huge compliment getter. 10/10

Signature Summer scent. Just as the other TF private blend scents, allow this to settle on your skin for at minimum, 5 minutes to experience the magic. The scent gets better throughout the day. Perfectly blended and crowd pleasing scent.

I just love the green cardamon at the opening. I can smell thyme and brings greek garden memories. I don't get the flowers...but I don't care. Love the rest of the perfume almost sweet not creamy coconut. Love this
