Long review: First of all, I want to clarify that there is no noticeable raspberry sweetness in this fragrance at all. If you’re expecting that familiar fruity note from the original Tuscan Leather, you’ll be in for a surprise. It’s not here — and honestly, that’s what sets this apart. A lot of people say, “Oh, it’s Tuscan Leather Intense, but it’s not actually intense.” I completely disagree. It is absolutely intense — not in a loud, overpowering way, but in how it amplifies the core of what Tuscan Leather is all about: leather. This version strips back the sweetness and focuses on the darker, drier, more mature elements. Opens with a brief nod to the original TL, but quickly transforms into something much more refined—earthy, green, herbaceous, and leather. It’s mature and sophisticated, a clear step up in depth and complexity. Some mention animalic notes, but I didn’t notice any. If they’re there, they’re so well-blended into the green and leathery profile that they’re barely noticeable. As it dries down, it leans into a smooth, almost Oud Wood-like vibe with a leathery richness. It’s not playful like the original, but it keeps that iconic TL signature while adding a darker, more elegant twist. This is it!! This is one of Tom Ford’s discontinued fragrances actually worth the $$$ and time trying to get. Keeps that thyme/saffron distinguished smell from OG tuscan leather in the opening. Just heavenly, elegant and refined smell. But in TL intense it keeps it on the background you barely detect it on the opening, no animalic at all as fragrantica and users say. Best way i can describe it its like a more gourmand version of OG TL, same way you could say Nouveau monde is like a gourmand version of ombre nomade by LV, that how i can interpret it as. Starts with thyme/saffron smell in the background with a dark chocolate/truffle in the vibe of a noir de noir type chocolate/truffle smell. Chocolate/truffle smell is very noticeable in the opening you might feel at first that this is a gourmand version of TL but 30 min dries down into the same leather elegant smell. OG TL smell becomes more dominant and dark chocolate/truffle kinnda liquer smell goes to the background Is this better than OG TL? depends, short answer yes. Might be my favorite TF at the moment, i think its more lickeable than the OG, more compliment getter, hard to believe since OG its already a lot!! But way sexier too, because i think when u add up the sweatness to a fragrance with a dark composition you just perfection it. Longevity/sillage: i cant tell, im just into first impresions. Before smelling this OG TL was my favorite DNA/fragrance of all time im into leather fragrances consider that!

What an epic scent. My issue with the original TL was the overwhelmingly sweet drydown. I love TL, its a great fragrance for me, but that tart sweetness after the 5th hour made me be little doubtful sometimes. Tuscan Leather Intense on other hand is quite subdued and more round fragrance in my opinion, less spikey, less fruits. It opens with slight boozines, the original dna, minus the strong raspberry waft. This boozie, leather and woodsie movement lasts about two hours while it changed significantly into something more darker and deeper. After an hour or so it starts to shine and morph into a deep and greener smell... It gave me that feeling of going into the Amazon jungle, but where no human has ever been, into the green abyss where you're surrounded by torf like soil, dark purple flowers and woods that may be dangerous to touch. The leather note is prominent all the time, wood accords are dense and that green, herbal presence makes this fragrance a masterpiece. I understand it may hard to comprehend on a first sniff, I believe you need to sample it on skin and go with it for the 8h it keeps changing and morphing, it's a journey not a destination. At the end of my journey, at around 7-8h mark this fragrance do not linger like TL, overly empowered by one or two accords like the raspberry note.. It just dries and dies together as a symphony.

Have been eyeballing this for quite a while. Have thought about getting the original Tuscan Leather, but put it off due to already owning Clive Christian C for men, which is super similar. I saw this half off at an outlet and thought what the heck, it’s discontinued, may as well get it. Versus the original, this is definitely a lot “deeper” smelling and a little darker. It’s more rich. As the name suggests, it’s the more intense version. I would call it more refined. I feel as though having both may be a little redundant. Someone here described it like a big money type of scent. Have to agree. This stuff oozes class. It’s potent, it’s opulent, and it’s fun to wear. I get more of a realistic leather note in this than I do the original. There is a slightly animalic touch that I wish it didn’t have. Would make it a little easier to wear. I plan to wear this to the office, but just one spray. That may even be overkill, and I’ll just do it when I know I’m not going to be in tight quarters with others. Longevity is enough to get you through the day with decent projection. Very high quality and definitely worth what I paid. Looks like prices online are creeping up. This isn’t one that’s worth overpaying for. Just get the original TL. I wouldn’t say the improvement over the original is so vast that it’s worth a huge margin more.

I recently picked up a sample vial of this, after having tried a few sprays in my local TF boutique. I have Tuscan Leather, Ombre Leather 16, Oud Wood, Oud Wood Intense, and Oud Minerale - this can be described as a mixture of the best components of each of those. The opening is fresh and earthy, very slightly sweet, but not cloyingly so. It's slightly smokey, but still smells clean. As it starts to dry down, the smokiness fades slightly while the woods start to become more prominent; the earthiness and freshness remain. It largely stays the same throughout the day / evening (when I sprayed it on myself in the store, it lasted 12+ hours easily; dabbing it on myself from the sample vial yielded similar results). Personally, I prefer more linear fragrances that change only very slightly throughout the day - if you prefer ones that tend to change quite drastically throughout the day, this may not be for you. Tuscan Leather (OG) would end up changing quite a bit, becoming very "sharp" by the end of the day; Ombre Leather 16 would end up becoming very cloyingly sweet by the end of the day (note: this is on my skin, which is a bit drier than average, so your results will likely vary). All in all, I'm really pleased with this, and will likely end up returning to purchase a full bottle!

Honestly not what I expected. This fragrance to me oozes the concept of wealth, very powerful and strong smelling. Unlike Tom Fords many other "Intense" flankers, this one strongly resembles the original but makes it more masculine and replaces the raspberry tart sweetness with davana sweetness which provides some greenery through it. I never thought the smell of leather and green would work together. If you're expecting like head on green green with some animalic powerful, almost disgusting, leather - it really isn't like that whatsoever. It's blended very well and smells smooth and opulent. Is it worth the insane price tag? No. But if you can get it for a cheaper price like I did, it is worth adding into your collection for a good day or night out scent. 8/10. I have yet to smell the full dry down - this is after ~30 minutes of being on my skin. EDIT: Honestly, this is one of my absolute favourite fragrances. I don't get any massive animalics or animal smells, it smells clean and really opulent - it is really sophisticated and super complex I really do love it. I'd give it a 9/10. Out of my TF's, being Tobacco Vanille, Noir de Noir, Oud Wood, Neroli Porofino and Mandarino di Amalfi - this one is one that's really up there.

every man needs a bold fragrance. fresh, clean and commercial is nice for the day to day but when the night comes, you need edge. Tuscan Leather Intense is bold, honest, dry and clean. visceral, animalic hide sitting on your skin. greener and more done than the OG, less cloyingly sweet, more transparent. Tuscan Leather Intense is up front and challenging. where Aventus is my light pleasing signature, Tuscan Leather Intense is my dark statement signature. the mrs. may not like it as much as I do, but what is a bold fragrance if everybody likes it. this one is about setting a statement, priming. people will come to like your scent if they like you. Intense is clearly not meant in a more extreme, screaming, extroverted way but in a way that is reduced to the essentials of the OG. the result is a more base heavy, deep and subtle scent. scent 10/10 --> perfect. initially dark, becomes greener through it's lifecycle longevity 9/10 --> 1 spray lasts 8 hours on skin; eternal on clothes sillage --> rather softly, which is good. you don't want a nuclear powerhouse for something this refined and intimate. sprays --> every fragrance i own needs to fulfil it's job with one spray. this does it perfectly Perfectly bold and sharp as a tack

Sprayed the 2019 formulation of TL on one hand and TL Intense on the other. What I can tell you is this: TL almost smells sugary sweet, very possibly cloying, and feminine in a Baccarat Rouge 540 kind of way when you compare it to TL Intense. And like Baccarat Rouge 540, the regular TL is also a beastly performer. TL comes off as very metrosexual to me, so if you have that style as a man, or you are a confident woman, go with TL. TL Intense on the other hand to me smells more earthy, green, and full of suede. TL Intense is what i’m personally looking for in a leather fragrance. Works best with a leather jacket or a suit, as it subtly compliments the masculinity that is already present in those looks. It may not perform as well as the regular TL, but it doesn’t need to. Regular TL is one-dimensional, loud, and rather feminine/metrosexual, while TL Intense has more depth and more of a subtle and masculine scent profile that definitely signals a maturity and internal confidence and experience that I don’t get from the regular TL. As with all things, it’s worth the price if you love it

Like most Tom Ford's, my nose has a hard time adjusting to them in the beginning but end up falling in love with it. This is no different. I've been wearing Tuscan Leather for close to 10 years and Ombre Leather since it was released. I'm a sucker for leather fragrances! TLI caught me off guard because it was a bright and shiny to my nose....which wasn't what I was looking for. I kept this bottle in the back of my collection and recently brought it out because the weather was starting to warm up. My wife and I went to a friends house recently so the kids could play outside so I put on three sprays. I was pleasantly surprised how well this did in the 80 degree heat. The raspberry/leather note was toned down and was a little on the sweet side. For only spraying it three times, it lasted all day and was pleasantly surprised i didn't choke myself out from being in the heat with a leather fragrance on. I think this is pretty damn versatile, IMO. I plan on using this a few more times this spring/summer! Cheers!

I love the original, wear it and know its characteristics very well. How does this flanker differ? Well, the first thing I detected for a second or two after spraying on my skin was an intense lacquer note which resolved very quickly into a pronounced skank note. This has a very brief dirty smell that the original TL doesn't own. And then... green. After five minutes or so on my skin it dried down into pretty much the original Tuscan Leather. Perhaps a bit greener. After a half hour it became a skin scent, so I'm not sure this lasts as long as the original scent. On a card I detect what my wife calls the "Grandma's ashtray" note. I don't find it objectionable as she does, but I do not believe it's in the original. I like it - but I prefer the original

I have the OL, TL, & recently added this beauty TLI. I'm going to exclude the OL because to me it plays in total different league & to sum up the comparison between the TL & TLI; the TL is a wild predator untamed heavy creature that is extremely challenging to control & obey; you may consider it as a killer whale or Orca. On the other hand; The TLI is a much much heavier tamed creature that is somehow controlled & gentle. May obey your orders; It is the Shark Whale. I don't want to go into the notes breakdown & performance. I guess the above comparison is enough said if it is a possible comparison.

Very stoked to try this as Tuscan Leather is a true masterpiece and copied by many. Wonder if there will be a Tobacco Vanille Intense since TV is my favorite, and I feel it will be because they already did Oud Wood Intense, Tobacco Oud Intense and now this. As it seems Intense for Tom Ford is a focus more on animalic notes and overall more Intense concoction. Also wonder if Jacques Cavallier and Harry Frémont created Intense as they did the original. Just hope the Intense versions does not mean a heavy reformulation and weakening of the originals to more highlight the new "Intense" releases.

TLI is a greener take on the original TL. Opens up very green sweet from Davana, spicy from saffron & playful raspberry. In the mid, the suede rounds it making it more smooth and refined compared to the younger brother TL. Overall a very potent, High class and statement making fragrances that you'll rarely find the right occasion for. I love Tom Ford as he does proof that he has something different and own unique style. Also its less challenging

A woodier more luxury version of the original less dense sweet leather than the original with a woody wine cellar vibe. The raspberry & woods are dry like the smell of a very nice wine cellar. Kinda reminds me of the wood notes from Gucci pour Homme 1 & Oud Wood. Owning both ombré leather & Tuscan leather I like this one the best also & is different enough for me to own all 3. TLI is more complex elegant grown up version of Tuscan leather

Question: Can you take perfection and make it better? Answer: YES! This opens with that sweet dried fruit scent you get in Tobacco Oud with a dry leather underneath. As time goes on, this transforms into a version of TL that replaces the leather with suede and removes the top heavy raspberry note. This is more animalic but yet cleaner at the same time. To me, this truly improves something that i never thought could be improved.

I love it. Not a perfect scent for everyone because middle age women seem to hate it. However, in overall this would be one of the best bottle from TF house (or at least among bottle I owned). Very unique, long-lasting and having crazy projection.

Sampled this and walked away impressed. Way more of the pure suede note and way less of the fruity feminine raspberry. This is just truly excellent stuff. Reminds me of the TL I smelled back when it first came out and hadn’t been reformulated yet

Smell very very expensive but yes, the price is also damn expensive lol. My girlfriend loves it so much. She said that the intense version is more seductive and intriguing. Personally, I prefer this over the original.

Compared to Tuscan Leather, this is more aromatic, woodyer, just slightly spicyer, less leathery, less sweet than Tuscan leather... i find the Intense version superior, more complex, more intriguing

Great fragrance, safe one I would say. I would def wear this fragrance but if I had to chose between intense and the original, I would go for the original because I want more leather.

I generally don’t go for leather scent but somehow I love this. To me this smell more like a dark chocolate with raspberry filling. Stayed on my sleeves for over twelve hrs.

Wow WILD and sexy, not for everyone and not for anytime.

This scent is simply a "perfect" scent.

Very fortunately this is very Tuscan Leather. I'm always worried that when a perfume house comes up with a flanker - especially when the original is so damn good - that it's going to mutate the DNA so much as to make the fragrance unrecognizable. Think TF's Noir vs. Noir Anthracite, the latter of which does not deserve the Noir surname. TL Intense, though, wears the name proudly. And like other TF Intense fragrances, the intensity is not in the volume of the accords (projection or sillage or longevity); this is a pattern with the TF fragrances, perhaps because they're worried that greater "intensity" will lead the fragrance to a destination of disorganized screaming. TL Intense confirms this. The fruity top note has been nearly dispensed with; it's there, but only barely, toned down to a whisper. The leather accord is what gets the intensity treatment. It is even drier than the original, and it's not a warm sun-kissed brown Italian leather anymore, it's a very taught black leather of a more American variety. Dungeon leather even. Despite this, there's not enough of a difference between this and the original to justify the expense of owning both. I dare say most people won't tell much of a difference. For me, the original is preferred because the original allowed more room for complexity of notes. As with the other TF Intense perfumes, from a buyer's perspective, I don't understand the point of this fragrance. But if the point was a technical exercise, an attempt to answer a hypothetical question about the original Tuscan Leather, then that's about the only justification for its existence.

This is not what most people will be expecting from an intense leather fragrance. They have not simply amped up the same notes and made a darker, harder-hitting Tuscan Leather. It has a different type of leather note leather note to the OG. Instead of the OG's dry, smoky, new suede/leather, this has a much more rounded, musty old heavy leather jacket smell, smoothed out with suede. It's not as sharp at the OG is in the first ten minutes or so. Also in the mix is a full-on dried apricot note (from the davana), and it's much fruitier than the raspberry of the OG. Here it's smooth, slightly sweet, and slightly herbal, especially with the saffron and thyme. @Binker's woody 'wine cellar' description is also spot on. It has a lot of cork and woodiness in the middle, plus a damp mustiness. I also get a kind of chlorine or plastic smell here, but it's not altogether disgusting - it kind of has that same appeal that the strange cocaine note had in the OG. It’s actually quite smooth and not really what I imagined ‘intense’ to be. From the opening 30 mins it is very difficult to see why this should be called intense. Where it really is intense, and where it really shines, is in the dry-down, where the animal musks come right to the fore, with the davana becoming less dried apricot and more herbal along with thyme/saffron. [As a slight side, a TF sales assistant told me that the specific combination of musks give it the illusion of leather.] It all makes for a very intense, musky, sensual and sexy fragrance. Most suitable as an evening scent. Definitely NOT a blind buy for the uninitiated

A swirling cloud of leather and musk - raunchy and enveloping. To get the most out of it, I re-applied again after lunch and nearly asphyxiated myself in glorious leathery splendour. Like an animal marking its territory! It's supposed to be the intense sibling of Tuscan Leather, and Ombré Leather just a cousin; but it seems like Tuscan and Ombré have two parents the same and TLI is part milkman's. The leather note is largely the same as the OG, but it has different accomplices which changes its overall appearance. The juxtaposition of a heavy old suede leather jacket (drier and mustier than the OG), offset against the herbal-apricot of davana and animal musks. It also has more woods/cork making it drier and mustier still, which together make it much smoother, dustier and 'softer' than the rather more aggressive OG. I'll requote a TF sales assistant who told me the combination of musks in TLI give it the illusion of leather. A million miles away from sprightly clean laundry musks. I find the opening often changes from day-to-day, possibly dependent on the weather or what I’ve been wearing before. I have heard about davana itself being a bit chameleonic scent-wise. Sometimes the davana is more pronounced, other times its full-force leather, often with some of the amber/resins. I do get a mental image of a cowboy though - the Marlborough Man or the Midnight Cowboy with his 'fringed leather jacket'. Once you get used to it, it really very pretty. Even though it lasts for the best part of a day at full strength.

Holy moly what a fragrance It's not sweet like the original. It's more green and has a smokey burning wood vibe. It's called Tuscan Leather Intense but I surprisingly find it fresher than TL. Not in a watered down kinda way, it definitely smells "stronger" than TL, just not as dense as the original. There's definitely castoreum here which blends beautifully with leather. The amber is very subdued and won't be detected unless you smell deep. I was half expecting this to be a brutal raw leather with faint animallic notes, but it's actually much more complex than that. I'm loving it. Overall, if you liked Tuscan Leather for it's tart sweetness, this is not for you. However if you like a green, less dense, and darker take on leather, Tuscan Leather Intense is an amazing choice. Personally, I give the original an 9.5/10 and this one a 8.5/10 EDIT: The far dry down of this is moderately reminiscent of the opening of Tobacco Oud. Tuscan Leather Intense is by far the most complex Tom Ford fragrances I've smelled. I'm bumping the rating up to 9/10

The best parts of the original with a davana note that Ford copied from Kilian Dark Lord. This is overall better though, as it isnt cloying, but instead woodier, more subdued and more elegant. The scent profile is different and smoother but I'm also not sure its worth the extra $150. I really love the smoked woods in the late dry down, its very reminiscent of campfire. I suspect theres tobacco here as well as theres something else here that reminds me of a box of cigars. I'll probably end up buying this as its right up my alley.

I really wanted to like this one since I was such a fan of the original... I think I have to finally click the dislike button. You’d think the civet would bring something to the game, but it comes across as a synthetic mess. I bought two different decants from two separate suppliers to make sure. It really smells like what I would think of if some bootlegger was trying to copy Tom fords tuscan leather. It dries down okay, but has none of the magic from the original. I’m glad I tried it, but it’s pretty much a pass for me.

It is very nice, once the fruit fades it is a great very creamy animalic leather. It stays on the skin all day but the projection starts strong then fades to decent in the first hour. It is beautiful and high quality that creamy sweaty leather note is 10/10 and recalls some of the most classic leathers ever, but in the end I'd save your money, there are good alternatives at much better prices.

If you like Tuscan leather, you should check this out. I like the addition of animatic notes. Some may not. Smells like there could be civet in it.

Does anyone else find the intense less intense than the original? I feel like it lasts and projects less than the regular Tuscan leather.

Opens very inky, dark, almost sensual, you can make out a little raspberry, but after some time, it settles into a jasmine, with a smidge of suede, but no leather. Long into the drydown, only a jasmine note is present, with a light musk and a smidge of amber. While it was sensual when it lasted, the amount of time that this was for isn't really FB worthy for me. I could just get a floral musk if I wanted to smell this kind of nice for most of the frag time...

Batch - A39 (2019) Tuscan Leather Intense is a way worse version of normal Tuscan Leather. This fragrance is so bitter it makes me gag, Im a huge fan of Tuscan Leather and I have no clue what they have done to this "Intense" version, it does not smell intense at all just a mess of notes that make no sense. The have destroyed the norma Tuscan Leather. 3/10 would not recommend at all

As a leather fragrance lover this one didnt strike me at all. It reminds me of Tuscan Leather which I do like a bit more, but still nottin' special. You can get La Yuqawam for much lover price with the same Tuscan vibe.

It's interesting Tuscan Leather iteration but thats all. Not worth a high price tag in a million years.

I tried the newer batch of TL and I was underwhelmed, TL was what started my interest in fragrances, around this time (November, December), a good few years ago when I was a young kid I went to selfridges during the festive season and I liked fragrances but only thought of them as "just another accessory" but after smelling the older TL batch in store I was amazed I thought wow this was nice; I had sprayed this on a jumper which, after this trip to selfeidges, I took off and put back in my wardrobe, I came back a few days later and got wafts of this slightly sweet smokey leather scent it was faint but the fact that I could still smell it and it was actually filling the space even after being left to sit; I put my nose closer to the jumper and thus my interest was sparked, but back to the actual scent - the more current batches are still really good but not what they used to be, but the intense version - TLI, is just like the slightly older batches of the original, I went out a few months ago, tried the newer batches of the normal TL and then TLI, and came to the conclusion that it is TLI that smells more like the older version but beware it is now discontinued you can still find it, But for how long? The only reason why I didn't buy 100ml is because you have PDM's Goldolphin (which I haven't tried but is probably similar), Rasai La Yuqawam, which I own, the original TL and the expensive "clone" (well kind of), Frederic Malle The moon, which apparently goes along the same vein, or belongs to the same family and countless other actual clones. Get it while you still can. Update: just got my bottle, haha I just remembered how small those tom ford 50ml bottles are in hand, no wonder so many are not willing to pay but anyway, saying all of that above, I still agree with my past comments but one spritz of this (on someone else) and it fills the whole room - but faintly. Smelling this up lose I do get those davana hints and this does have a smoothness and very very slight creaminess that the original TL doesn't have.

If you are a fan of Tuscan Leather this is not a more intense version of the same formula. Tuscan Leather Intense smells Lux, Noir, more on the side of sexy and a lot more Metro. This is not a scent that will be worn by the Marlboro man -- it is a leather scent built for nightlife and evokes the simmering intensity of an artisan; aptly embodying the branding of Tom Ford. Channeling the raspberry meets raw leather construction of Tuscan Leather, with TLIntense there is also an almost cognac booziness forged with woodsy greens reminiscent of the unapologetically brassy depths of early Tom Ford Private Collection offerings like Italian Cyprus. The price for this offering "is" intense -- but if you purchased Neroli Portofino Forte (a welcome improvement of gravitas to its predecessor), the price may not detract you, as this scent does convey money. This is not like Tom Ford Oud Wood intense which was a cloyingly strong patchouli-oud concoction that featured a burning electric guitar vibe that would project down a city block (not in a good way). Tuscan Leather Intense's engine shifts smoothly between its gears like a Ferrari, aligning a spirit of many notes of primal leathery complexity without ever smelling at all linear. However, this scent will not last much longer than the 7-8 hours of Tuscan Leather. TSIntense is darker and far more nuanced than Ombre Leather 16, although it does covey a similar urbane polish and mystique. If these were wines, Ombre Leather 16 would be a Pinot Noir and while Tuscan Leather Intense would be a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. As a fan of quality Leather scents, I was disappointed by last year's By Killian's rum meets jasmine and pepper interpretation of a Lux Leather fragrance named "Dark Lord", ✔️Tuscan Leather Intense does make for a veritable niche fragrance addition. Tuscan Leather Intense 9/10

Initial impression: Tuscan Leather Intense smells rounder and less abrasive than the original Tuscan Leather. Here I don't perceive the raspberry that the original has, but there's still a subtle and gentle sweetness underneath the luxurious leather that helps round out the fragrance. I also get a barely there subliminal hint of greenness and wood. This feels darker and heavier than the original Tuscan Leather. The original is one of my favorite fragrances of all time, and so far I feel this is worthy of the name. As some people have said, it's not necessarily "INTENSE" in that it doesn't amplify all the harsh sharp edges of Tuscan Leather. But it's still an intense fragrance, and in fact, only twenty minutes after spraying it on, I seem to have a headache from it. That's not to say that it's bad, just that I may have overdone the number of sprays. There is definitely a long lasting oily sheen on my skin where I sprayed. As of now, I'm rather satisfied with this fragrance for the discounted price that I paid. However, I find it hard to justify the Tom Ford premium tier private blend pricing of $380 for a 50 ml bottle. Having said that, I'm very glad to have added this dark intense flanker to my fragrance wardrobe.

First impression...,I really like it, and now I need to test the original. I tried the original once on my wrist at Sephora and didn't love it, but if it's similar to this I need to give it another chance. The intense version has some earthiness but sweet and earthy, not bitter, reminds me a bit of the earthiness in noir de noir but toned way down. Mixed with a noticable raspberry and suede that blends the leather to be more easygoing but still prominent. I almost get a phantom Rose note, must be the raspberry playing tricks on me. Not one dimensional at all, a bit unique but not challenging the way I thought it would be. Edit: AD80 Below is spot on. Also gives me vibes of a toned down layton exclusif minus the vanilla, or a brightened up noir de noir with less chocolate vibe. Hope I painted a vague picture to help understand Edit2: Really growing on me. It’s bold and interesting while still being reserved. The dark raspberry vibe reminds me of ombré nomade, another love of mine. That one is too bold for me to wear except for occasions. This one is subtle/subdued enough to wear more often and not overpower me, which I like. Others might call it weak, I call it versatile. 9/10

Tuscan Leather Intense opens with rich, dried fruit with a hint of ambered incense and the familiar Tuscan Leather accord dialed up to 10. This means you get more of those rugged leather aromachems which are the same kind found in Interlude. TLI dials the sweetness down but replaces it with more an aromatic and deeper musky amber accord. It lasts around 24 hours as a skin scent with excellent projection for the first 6 hours. This is powerful, balanced, and an improvement on the original. In my opinion the original doesn’t even matter in comparison the Intense version. They’re almost identical except for the dried fruits replacing the raspberry. I even get a hint of tobacco ala opening fresh unlit Marlboro cigarettes in first 5 or 10 minutes however this aroma is vague and easily open to interpretation. Tuscan Leather Intense let’s you know you’re smelling leather open to close. There’s even a hint of animalism in the heart. 10/10 improvement upon the original.

To my nose this is the better version compared to the OG. Particularly because the cheap raspberry is not there and the dry down is more dry and animalic to my nose. I've sampled many other leathers but this one has been my favorite though I don't think I'm going to come back to leather scents soon. Overall it's beautiful and challenging at the same time. For me a leather scent shouldn't smell like leather shop or leather shoe stores and should have an upclose animalic leathery nature that this one executes perfectly. If you own the OG don't buy this and come to it when you've finished it but the most optimal move should be to keep a bit of juice from the OG and then go for this one and compare them so you can get the idea.

- Gastric leather - ★★☆☆☆ The tart raspberry and polished leather notes from the original are gone and have been substituted with roasted almonds, herbs and a Jupiter sized woody amber base. Intense? Less than the original in my opinion. The herbal/medicinal section reminds me of a time I drank too much salmiac (salty licorice) vodka and vomited all over my friends living room - a sour smell of gastric fluids, bitter licorice and angry friends. That was 11 years ago and the memory almost eradicated into the blissful land of denial but little did I know someone decided to bottle it and now I can relive it again and again. No thanks. Just buy the original or the sublime fruity leather Galop d'Hermes.

On a night out in London unexpectedly I got compliments and a complete stranger took herself and sat right next to me and I was dressed in an all black hoodie and joggers (whether or not that's approachable is up to you), but my point is I have never got such brilliant compliments or non-verbal compliments before, but I guess it was the right time place, clothes and person and the clean hot and cold air from the London underground, oh it was mixed with Acqua Di Parma Oud, which is not really oud but it acts like oud and is made up of a bunch of musks, but it seemed to do well.

Compared to recent formulations of regular Tuscan Leather, TLI opens up with a more pure smelling leather (almost something boozy in there?) whereas regular TL is ashy and smoky right off the bat with raspberry on top. TLI has green/earthy accords in the opening and as it dries down it smells similar to my decant of vintage 2014 TL. TLI is more dense than current Tuscan Leather, but it feels easier to wear despite not having the raspberry accord (it’s a listed note but I don’t get it until maybe faintly in the dry down). Projection is noticeably stronger with TLI.

tom ford fragrances has gone to hell in the last few years.they are releasing one subpar fragrance after another. all of new tom ford private blends feel rushed and uninspired a futile attempt to rush them out to the market and rob the consumers. the prices of these intense version are outrageous and laughable. they dont smell as good as the original nor do the last as long. this brand has become extremely pretentious imo. the best from the private blend are still tuscan leather and tobacco vanille.(exception is oud minerale which i enjoyed quite a bit)

تاسكن لاذر انتنس .. و انتبه يا عزيزي على كلمة انتنس فلا تصدّق الباعة المغفلين حين يقولون لك .. هذا نفس العطر الاساسي لكن بتركيز اعلى .. و انتبه لان هذا الامر ينطبق على جميع العطور .. فمن التفاهة و السفاهة ان تقوم الشركة بفعل ذلك .. لم تعد هذي المسميات ترمز للتركيز العطري .. بل اصبحت ترمز لنوع المكونات و الصيغة العطرية .. و اعلم عزيزي ان كل ذلك بنهاية الامر لعبة تجارية بحته و مسميات لغرض التسويق .. و لا تأخذ بكلام احد ولا برأيه الاسواق مفتوحة و العطور فيها متاحة و موجودة .. جرّب بنفسك .. حكّم انفك فهو نعمة من الله عليك :)
