Vanille Fatale Tom Ford (B29, 70 ml., 160 USD) Full review on Nov 6, 2024 Today, I wear Vanille Fatale. Already 2-3 hours post wear. I think I am ready for my input. Vanille Fatale is Dark Lactonic wood fragrance, ok to good Tom Ford offering for me. I can definitely say Vanille Fatale is not Gourmand-Estique, it is the same ballpark with "Feve Delicious by Dior" in the manner that sweet alluring vanilla is the main player of fragrance but utilize in difference structure. The first blast, I recall the Lactone spicy vanilla that seems to be TomFord's signature. In Tobacco Vanille, Tom Ford Noir extreme, Noir pour femme but in Vanille Fatale, this is tiled on Black Ebony wood (In my personal interpretation), brunt ship wood - which get stronger around 30 mins post wear, this wood smell black become the front of stage cover this lactone vanilla. For a moment, at the top - I feel like, I smell something fruity, reminds me of strawberry. Later at middle of wear, it is now the dance show between Plum lactone that merge with smooth vanilla, the dark wood, a touch of boozy dark rum/benzoin note and the dusty flower kind of add overall "darkness tone" to the overall theme of fragrance and it is mostly stop at this point. I finally understand kind of "Dark Aesthetic" here that Tom Ford seems to love, enigmatic and dark-sun glasses in most of his scents, it seems to add a drop of Incense / Smoke / Tobacco to his fragrance. So it is become darker than usual but it is not the strong oriental incense one, it is like a "darker scent" but in western manner, the classic Europe oriental (?). maybe. This is addictive quality of Tom Ford fragrance. The overall scent is smooth and it is delightful to wear. there is certain moment that the scent seems to taken over by overly lactonic vanilla. I could say that Tom Ford fragrance is linear but concoction, each note seems to show characteristic at difference time but it is never escapes Lactonic Vanilla / Plum / Dark Ebony wood territory. The reason, I rate this "ok to good tier" because I don't find this "outrageous" scent from his line up compare to his other scents. It works like Sublimes fragrance for everyday wear that could entertain you. It is kind of womanly but a classic woman where Plum lactone is a thing. This seems to be modernize, extravaganza and enriched lactone vanilla of "Feminité du Bois" by Serge Lutens. Even I don't really enjoy the "Plum" note in fragrance. I accept that Vanille fatale is fun to wear and entertaining, Yann Vasnier is creator for this TomFord and he also create "Plum Japonais" I think Vanille Fatale could work more like a sister to that than counter-part of Tobacco Vanille. The message I receive from Tobacco Vanille & Vanille Fatale seems to difference in differences direction for me. I am a sucker for Cherry and Peach actually, Plum isn't really my thing. I appreciate the darker fruity tone but it is just my thing I prefers the brightness of fruity fragrance in this realm, I would love to wear "Bouquet Ideale Xerjoff". The same core ideal of sweet vanilla wood but in warmer, spicier concoction or Cafe Cabanel, even Noir pour Femme. I find that relax and more friendly than this. Another point is I am not sure rather I want to communicate of dark aesthetic When I wear a fragrance. I know this scent makes me feels over-the-top. But I do not want to communicate my scent that way. And people, this is the review for "Vanille Fatale" in Black / Gold Label bottle. Not a new re-release. I believe the note has been refreshed in that one. I think I am ready to let this one go. Drop from assessment. ===== First Impression (September 20, 2024) Vanille Fatale was a blind-buy for me, as I love concept of Tobacco Vanille. But I find that too strong in Tobacco for my personal use. Therefore I don't buy it. But seeks other rendtion. I cam across the Vanille Fatale later on, surprisingly less people talking about this scent. In the market and using "Vanille" as counter part too "Tobacco Vanille" make me wonder. Also, note pyramid is not also familiar. I really wonder.. how this will smell like..? Upon spray, I recall another fragrance which they use to make. But discontinued for a while, TomFord Noir pour Femme, the counter part of Noir Extreme back in 2015. While, Noir Extreme leave on, Noir pour Femme - the Kulfi vanilla fragrance. Don't make the cut. This might be only elevate scent from Signature line too Private Blend, addcitve. This is absolutely "Femme Fatale" scent (in realm of Black Opium Extreme, Guerlain Black Perfecto). The strong independent woman, with red lip - bold, sensual and sexy. Even the man can use this scent, this must be so perfect on the woman. The vanille in this come across lactonic, milkly vanilla so surprisingly similar to Noir pour Femme. However, this add load of Floral and moderate amount of Fruity. Plum, Frangipani and roasted barley. Just surprisingly good. Mild Tobacco in the background, however - in this more like cigarette than Tobacco. Mildly incensely and smooth. While I impress with the scent, this can be impressive as Tobacco Vanille on a Man. But this, I find this better on a woman. Talking the scent itself, I find it must smoother take on Noir pour Femme. Edit 2 : Nov 4, 2024 : I revisit Vanille Fatale, it is mostly Lactone Vanilla - roasted barley, smoke wood pretty much reminds of Mahogane and new world amber.. it’s wried. I am no so sure rather I will keep this or not..

I’m very selective when it comes to vanillas, I don’t like it when it’s too gourmand-leaning but this one hits all the right spots !! After having JPG Classique EDP, I’ve been drawn to vanilla-esque booze, spiced cola, and play dough scents. That scent profile is basically one of the scents I hunt for nowadays and this is one of them. VF starts a bit tart, not too much citrus but it has that slight zest (which I’m not a fan of) mixed with the metallic coriander. Not gonna lie I was kinda disappointed on the initial spray because it had that unwashed hair mustiness (or let’s say musk to be polite) which gave an impression of a sweaty smell. Thankfully, this fragrance gets better towards the dry down. After the initial spray, it starts developing to a dry, dusty, and not so spicy concoction. In this stage, you’d definitely think you’re about to enjoy the spicy resins but surprise! It gets overpowered by a LITERAL PLAY-DOH VANILLA and it stays that way until its last hour of wear. I’m not the biggest fan of gourmand vanillas, I prefer my vanillas in a woody, peppery, leathery, smoky, and play-doughy sense (and this is one of those !!). Even if the play-doh scent in this one gives it a gourmand twist due to its lactonic almond nuances, I still appreciate it bc the dusty resins and spiced balsams keep it grounded and not overtly gourmand. Longevity is great, probably an hour of projection then turns into a skin scent for the next 6 hours. if ur after a play-doh vanilla with an initial edge, this is a cute pick !!

Vanille Fatale is a boozy, balsamic amber-vanilla scent that, while pleasant and good-quality, isn't particularly unusual. Warm and comforting as well as slightly edgy, it feels typical of Tom Ford. It makes me think of Tobacco Vanille, but the dry tobacco is here replaced with another vice - booze. VF is boozy from initial spray, with a nice balsamic amber accord present from initial spray. Some fleeting citrus gives some freshness, and peppery spice enhances the increasingly resinous amber accord. As it develops, some creamy, sweet florals emerge, bolstered by the vanilla, which emerges here, adding smooth, rich sweetness. There is a soft spiciness here, with coffee and some powdery rose adding interest. It remains warmly boozy. As it begins to dry down, a realistic suede note emerges, a logical progression that complements the amber-vanilla to perfection. A perfectly-judged pinch of patchouli adds earthiness, and soft woody notes creep in. It fades to become a sweet, powdery vanilla-amber skin scent with remnants of soft spice remaining. Sillage is moderate and longevity is reasonably long-lasting. A warm scent for cold weather, VF is unisex. A beautifully balanced vanilla-amber scent, VF is in fact a boozy-spicy-earthy-suede-amber-vanilla scent, nicely nuanced, cohesive and deceptively complex. A top-notch example of a fairly run-of-the-mill scent profile. Expensive, but one of the best balsamic vanilla scents I've tried. Lutens Un Bois Vanille meets YSL Babycat. 4.5/5.

Blind bought this one and I’m surprised that it’s so much more woody than I anticipated. In a good way. I was expecting the usual sweet, rum, warm spicy cinnamon kind of scents, but the lack of cinnamon here makes this a totally different kind of warm spicy, and the strong woody notes give it more depth than others in my collection. It kind of feels heavy, like a bit earthy or dirty, but not in a bad way. As it dries down it gets sweeter and creamier, a bit powdery, and keeps getting better. By TF I like tobacco vanille. I love Noir pour femme. And I really like this (yes more than TV). And they are not anything like each other. At all. This is totally unisex, and I will definitely wear the hell out of it. Edit: Lasts 12 hours. Kept getting wafts of it the whole time when I first tried it, despite having other perfumes on. The second day I sprayed 1 spray, alone, and it’s enormous. Huge sillage. 1 spray filled the room. My advice is to enjoy the sillage and don’t sniff your skin directly. This is beautiful. Edit: wore this again today after a while, put it on a 8am, 8pm and I can still smell it on my skin from 30cm away, and not just vanilla, but the same gorgeous scent. It is fairly linear, but god does this last!

Edit: 01SEPT23 ...wow! This bottle I bought late winter (June/July 2022) has really macerated and is a beast! Much darker, deeper and for me who doesn’t normally feel this, sweeter. I get more of the resins, the honeyed tobacco touches and a deep dark fruitiness...if the florals are there they are not distinct and add body. Even more gorgeous. Now almost unctuous 😍 Trying this out today with a tiny 3ml bottle. First time sampling a Tom Ford in a few years. Oof! This is delicious. I have a hard time getting vanilla notes (I amp up leather but vanilla never seems to pop up on my skin)... but this is gorgeously resinous, golden, vanillic in that realistic scent of a sticky wrinkly vanilla pod way. Suede pushes it up creating this soft but deep scent which has a delightful minty touch at the edge of the scent. Intriguing. To me I register dark frankincense and the patchouli which are so beautifully blended. It’s warm, amber with flickering dark shadows from the wood. A warm wool sweater that has little hints of tobacco and woodsmoke. Soft of the skin but beautifully enveloping. Definitely FB worthy.

Living up to its name, Vanille Fatale is not a soft, gentle, and caressing, or typical of a formulaic vanilla. Instead, Vanille Fatale seduces you in mysterious ways that is unexpected, yet pleasantly surprising and opulent. While vanilla is front and center, right behind just as prominent are leather/suede and a boozy rum accord. This relationship reminds me of Amber Absolute where it is about incense as it is about the amber, instead here we have leather and rum. As it continues to dry down, a concoction of woody fruity floral notes/accords begins to take shape in an excellently blended manner that it is had to really distinguish the individual notes. Something hay like appears with touches of earthiness and greeness, which I attribute to the barley, patchouli, and artemisia respectively. I don’t really smell any prominent violet as others seem to find so obtrusive. The complete dry down is a beautiful sweet ambery, slightly resinous vanillic and roasted coffee beans with delicious warm spices. My favorite take on vanilla that I’ve tried so far and personally prefer this over Tobacco Vanille.

I ask myself the same question why does this perfume stay in the shadow of the linear, simplistic and uninteresting Tobacco Vanille🤔? Vanille Fatale is more exotic, "colourful" and seductive than its beloved by many cousin.it contains the unmistakable, typical for Tom Ford dna. There are more ingredients and notes that complement each other in a excellent way and give the fragrance oriental vibe. I don't smell many accords, but for sure i get the rum/whiskey, the coffee, the plum and a slight hint of tobacco that's not as prominent as it is in TV and of course the vanilla. There are rarely fragrances that give me such a strange, uplifting feeling upon spraying. Vanille Fatale is strong, potent fragrance with excellent longevity and enticing sillage. It's mouthwatering , leans a bit feminine and it's suitable for evenings, and cold seasons - autumn and winter. I adore wearing it especially on nights out. The best vanilla orientated scent along with Dior's Vanilla Diorama imho.

I was intrigued by perfume reviewers saying this was an underrated fragrance. I tested it out at my local selfridges who happened to have a tester tucked away, and my god it is phenomenol. The first ten minutes may be a little sharp for some as the spices hit, but half an hour in you get the vanilla coming through like a steam train, the smokiness starts to creep in and it dries down to a very warm creamy comforting fragrance. I mainly get the mature dark vanilla shrouded in a thin veil of incense and smoked spices. I would say this has great longevity and sillage. I purchased a full bottle and am already considering a second in case this ever gets discontinued. Perfect for any gender as it does not lean too feminine but can still be worn by a man. I would say its more of an autumn through to early spring fragrance, and will definitely perform best in winter. 10 out of 10 for me. Its definitely underrated, and certainly a very sexy fragrance. Unique profile scent.

I adore this fragrance. It’s a grown-up, unisex vanilla that is a definitive 180 from most of the vanillas on the market. Vanille Fatale is very dry. I get the coffee, rum, and barley for quite a while, and it is delicious. The barley note is the most prominent to me, and sticks around for a few hours, along with the coffee, until the vanilla finally breaks through and becomes the star of the show. And even when it does, it shines in a way that is more warm and dry than sweet. This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s the complete opposite of the typical cloying vanilla sugar bomb. Not that there’s anything wrong with those, but when you want something different, well here you have it. Longevity and sillage are borderline beast mode. This goes strong on my skin for many hours. I’m afraid Vanille Fatale will be discontinued because it’s not as popular as Tobacco Vanille. They’re both delicious, but this one takes the cake for me.

This is my favorite- and my most complimented fragrance. I have this old formula in 100ml and the more you spray it the better it gets. I heard the new formula is not as good, but I have tried it many times and I dont really smell a difference (although it could be the longevity). As a young man I can easily pull this of, it is unisex but is suitible for all. I only wear this as a winter fragrance normally around christmas and has been my colder days scent the last three or so years. If you like vanille and want something that lasts and has a very strong projection this is it. I prefer this over tobacco vanille, this smells like tobacco vanille and pdm althair combined in a softer more welcoming way and is more saffron, boozy, leathery leaning (not the harsh leather). Not considering the price, as this is a very expensive fragrance, this is a solid 10/10. One of the best from the Tom Ford line (blind buy worthy).

This was my first ever blind-buy, a purchase made while drunk on the high of my first big paycheck. I started off seriously regretting it, but I think I've Stockholm-syndromed myself into liking it. Or maybe it's just really good. The initial spray on this is alcoholic in a hydrogen peroxide kinda way. After that, it settles into the top notes, with warmth, booze, and a little incense in the mix. The florals are just underneath, hinting at their presence. Every phase of this perfume is effortless, warm, and sexy. There's vanilla, of course, but it's not at all overwhelming to me. Just perfectly sweet and sensual. The dry-down is pure powder with a touch of vanilla, which I'm not a huge fan of, but it's inoffensive and nice enough to be ignored. Its greatest power is how easy it is to layer it with other perfumes; it plays nice with everything. In short, I definitely do not regret buying the 50ml of this!

I have finally got a bottle of Vanille Fatale and can compare it with Tobacco Vanille. It might help if you are considering between the two. Although both fragrances feature vanilla, they have different identities. They are both sweet but in a different way. If Vanille Fatale is chocolate, Tobacco Vanille is like syrupy baklava. Vanille Fatale is drier, smokier, chocolatey and definitely woodier. Tobacco Vanille is definitely on the sweeter side with dried fruits and with the tobacco note boosting that sweetness. For now, I feel more love towards Vanille Fatale for its darker identity. Definitely in the same line with Noir de Noir to fulfil my gothic dreams. I enjoy Tobacco Vanille as well, but I feel like I won't be reaching as much as this one.

On my skin it begins with a sort of overpowering citrus note that I don't love but within 10 minutes evolves into a boozy and rich toasted scent with creamy vanilla. This phase makes me think that this is what the most delicious bowl of cereal would smell like and I'm in love. After lingering for about 5 hours it becomes a much fainter vanilla scent on me which still projects decently and has some nice leathery note in the background which must be the suede. On clothes it smells similarly rich and lasts weeks on my jacket if it touches it, pretty nice! I love this and in the colder seasons it is all I want to wear, but it's way too sweet in spring and summer and the heat brings out those citrusy notes that I hate, so don't bother with it then.

I finally bought a bottle of this beauty at the end of November 2022. I was really lucky as it seems to be really tough to get this one, except for the lonely 50ml bottle on Tom Ford's official website. On initial spray, one is hit with a blast of booze and florals. The plum is really apparent from the start and never lets up! Longevity is average at about 6 hours, with a soft to moderate projection for about 2 hours before becoming a stunning skin scent. It seems that this fragrance has been discontinued, as I emailed Tom Ford's customer support about it in October, only to be told the bad news. Why, oh why do you keep discontinuing the best fragrances in your line-up, Mr. Ford? 😭

I was interested in this scent primarily because of the booze, tobacco and coffee notes and can say this is by far one of the best vanilla scents I have ever tried. Tobacco Vanille to me is to dominant of a scent and was completely unwearable for me (even used the beard oil for a time). This one is a bit more airy with that incense yet still very vanilla dominant with subtle hints of wood, cognac/rum, and coffee on a slightly suede base. Another comment below commented on the lack of cinnamon and I do think thats what allows this scent to have great transitions and depth. It does lean more feminine and honestly I would be impressed by a woman wearing this scent during winter/fall.

Very little love for VF in the shadow of her glamorous, showstopper older sibling, Tobacco Vanille. But I always root for the underdog. I always immediately pick up on pipe tobacco whenever it appears in a fragrance, and VF indeed has a good dose of it - but of course, not nearly as much as in TV. It's dry, smoky, almost dusty, but unmistakably vanilla. What I really, really love about Vanille Fatale is that it is so darn layerable but still makes its appearance known. Paired with another love of mine, Santal Blush, and it's a killer. Paired with sweeter, and dare I say more "basic" vanillas, it adds dimension and depth. It's just really, really good.

I absolutely love the 2017 version of this fragrance. It is a balanced, warm, creamy vanilla aroma. It opens with rum and rich vanilla, which is quite heavy at first but softens. The floral tones (narcissus, rose, violet and patchouli) do a lot of background work, while the Myrrh and tobacco give the scent depth. The vanilla scent throughout is really organic, and does not come across synthetic, while the amber ties the whole thing together well. It does not project too much, but you will catch different whiffs of this complex mix throughout the day. A sensual scent that works in a host of different occasions.

I think if I'd seen mahogany in the notes before trying this, it would have scared me away, expecting one of the B&BW mahogany masculine scents, but this is firmly unisex. What really strikes me is the wood notes that I think of as the smell of splintering wood. There's also an ambery saffron scent as well as cooked plum and a very sexy musk. The moment I sniffed it, I knew it was something special. It doesn't really skew vanilla for me, but that's fine. It's also one that changes with the weather. It seems woodier on warmer days and more ambery balsamic on colder days.

This scent really floors me An intoxicating perfect vanilla scent to begin with as it dries down it becomes quite... interesting Something almost medicinal smelling comes along and like the smell of wood polish Im not sure if I like that aspect or not but it does create an incredibly unique, deep and alluring scent. THEN way way after I get this amazing, creamy tropical smell just radiating Its so so gorgeous and doesn't seem at all like the opening. Must be the frangipani and rum creating this tropical smell, I'm not sure but yeah Im definitely hooked on this.

sometimes it lasts a while, sometimes, not so much. this is by far the best smelling thing i've ever smelt in my entire life apart from maybe the original spicebomb. when i first applied it, my friend sitting across from me me yelled "dude, why the hell do you smell so damn good?" 2 hours later. think spiced chai latte, vanilla, tobacco. projects fairly well for the first hour, dies down to a nice, intimate zone for the remaining 7-8 hours. if you cuddled or hugged someone with this on, they'd definitely remember it for a very, very long time.

Batch - A12 (2022) Vanille Fatale is probably THE best vanilla scent in the market right now. Everything about this fragrance is just perfect. This is a TRUE compliment MAGNET, works both on men and women. Projection and longevity are beyond amazing easily over 12 hours of longevity and 3+ hours of STRONG projection. This is in my top 5 fragrances of all time and my number 1 vanilla scent by a mile, nothing compares to this not Tobacco Vanille nor Vanilla diorama or grand soir. This is on a different level 10/10 get your bottles now!!

Literally pure, pure, unfiltered sweet vanilla. And I love it. Smells so rich and creamy, isn't that special by any means but it isn't synthetic or disturbing at all. A slightly overprice pleasant gourmand fragrance is all it is. Decent performance, lasts around 6-7 hours on my skin and projects good for an hour and a half. Unless you really like vanilla scents (like me), I don't think you should bother trying to hunt for this discontinued and expensive fragrance. In all, Performance: 6 Smell: 8 Price: 3 Overall: 7.75

When I first received a sample in my post box and smelled the sprayer head, I thought "oh my... this is way too feminine and strong for me to ever gonna wear...." But when I tried it on this morning I was both blown away by the fantastic opening and how smooth and creamy and a high quality vanilla-scent it turned into throughout the day. Totally unisex, easy to wear, you will feel confident and grounded. Maybe more of a suit and tie-scent than your regular everyday-scent, but really worth checking out guys.

I love it. It's so boozy, smoky, ambery and cozy. It's one of my favorite vanilla scents alongside El Born and Zoologist Harvest Mouse. The zoologist perfume is softer, el born is more intense and is too warm to some people. This, however is a nice middle ground. It's warm but not overwhelming, soft but not too "fresh" or common. It's still very unique and unusual. It's also very sweet and gourmand to me, but that depends on a person. I mostly hear rum, booze, coffee and vanilla. Gorgeous!

Never say never. But I dare claim I ́ll never be disappointed with any TF perfume. Look at this - I ́m not into vanilla perfumes - but I love Tobacco Vanille & Vanille Fatale. Vanille Fatale is an olfactory delight. It ́s a universe made of warm & smoky resins, honey-sweet narcissus pollen, mild & milky barley, arabica coffee, creamy vanilla & heart-warming port wine. It ́s a delicate, smooth & narcotic pleasure. Just deluxe. PARENTAL ADVISORY: This fragrance will put a spell on you.

Opens with a blast of boozy vanilla, spicy myrrh and gentle citrus. The feeling is warm, luxurious and opulent. The Tom Ford DNA is immediately there and the fragrance feels stylish and comforting. In the dry down the coffee, plum and florals appear and add a new and enticing facet. The fragrance slowly loses its vannilic accord and ends feeling more like a resinous, balsamic amber with spices and gentle booze. A beautiful experience from beginning to end. Fantastic

delicious and mature... warms u in the winter. by the fireplace drives me crazy because the synthetic smoke and syrupy sweetness really clash for me, but vanille fatale nails the smoky spiced vanilla scent without taking any element too far. exceptionally well-blended. wouldn't buy a full bottle for price reasons but it is a beautiful, dark scent... perfect for a late night date... more of a smoke/spice scent than a sticky vanilla gourmand. elevated vanilla

This beauty is discontinued but the new version is nearly identical, maybe even better- with the bittersweet notes of barley, coriander and narcissus smoothed out a bit more. I sometimes get a bit of a dirty, mustiness when I wear this formula. Like a great full bodied red that needs to be decanted, this version needs some time to open up. The new version immediately opens up beautifully. My point? Don’t overpay on eBay or Mercari for an older bottle.

Yes. Right down my alley... Make-upy vanilla with a touch of smokiness. This is something you wear on a rainy day, a date (but only a special one), or if you’re like me if you wanna just feel cozy so whenever you want!... this is mysterious woman. Smells like BO Lana Del Rey-esq cousin. It’s called Vanille fatale for a reason, because this will turn you into a femme fatale. I would pair this with Vanilla Musk- Nemat to add more vanilla and sweetness.

I've been obsessed with this one for YEARS now! I'm not the biggest fan of tobacco, but this isn't too harsh on the tobacco. I prefer this one to tobacco vanille- that one is just too much tobacco for me. It clogs up my throat! This is very complex, deep, and vanillic. I love complex vanillic perfumes! Wanting to pick up another one of these very soon! Usually I'm not a tom ford perfume gal, but I'll give it to them, they got this one SPOT ON!!!

Got a sample of the vintage for my wife and it sat around for a while. I just moved it to my kitchen and asked her to try it. It sat for a few days and then I knocked it over and it spilled all over my kitchen floor. I wiped it up with a paper towel and the result on my hand was nothing short of delicious. I ordered a big bottle of the older formula from my decant guy and I'm 75% sure it's going on me instead of my wife.

Mature and woody vanilla with deep and rich notes of dark rum and maybe some whiskey barrels. Not overly sweet, it’s more thick and spicy than the usual gourmand vanilla type of scents. I think some may say that it’s a bit masculine, but for my nose it’s beautiful and mysterious. The base is nice and warming with ambery, balsamic and even powdery notes. This reminds me of a mix of TF Noir extreme and Noir extreme Pour Femme together, with the rum note I get from Dior vanilla diorama and the tobacco smokiness I get from PdM Carlise. Absolute masterpiece for me! Wow. I’m happy I purchased a 1 Oz decant. It’s more beastly when first sprayed. It softens after a few minutes but creates a wonderful scent bubble for hours. Need to root out a full or partial bottle

Initial spray is medicinal, then immediately vanilla kicks in. Soon settles into vanillic spicy rum. Not overtly sweet vanilla nor in your face type vanilla. Another masterpiece from TF. For me winner over Tobacco Vanille. Beside this I would say vanilla is the backbone of the most of the TF perfumes. Very Yummy. Feminine leaning. Has some sort of make up bag quality also. Good projection and lasting. ★★★★★

DISCLAIMER: i have a dupe which to me smells identical but ofc might smell different to others to me this is the better version of tobacco vanille, while tobacco vanille is way too much tobacco for me, this still has some but its not overpowering. i also love the variety of scents in this. i bought it for my brother and he loves it, we both think of it as a slightly more masculine scent but still unisex.

An amazingly elegant, grown up, daring boss mode fragrance. It smells smoky, musky, and yet like a creamy vanilla all at the same time. This is a perfect evening date night fragrance. I’d layer it with a nice vanilla lotion for a sweeter touch and some good longevity. This fragrance is a stand alone fragrance, and is a definite attention-getter, compliment magnet. 10/10 amazing addition to my collection.

DISCLAIMER: This is not for everyone. This perfume swept me off my feet. Everyone in my family hates this fragrance on themselves except on me. When I initially bought the 50ml, I was literally sleeping with it on my bed after spraying my pillow cases and bedsheets with it. Btw, this was my first blind buy. I’m definitely going to get the 100ml and would like to try the Tobacco Vanille.

Dark, boozy vanilla. A very complex scent. Many notes lend it some bitterness: myrrh, wood, coffee, artemisia, oakmoss. The texture is dry and powdery, yet also carries the juicy richness of plums, and a creamy vanilla at the base. The florals add a hint of delicacy. It feels rich, dark, quiet, and mature. I think, from certain angles, you can perceive it as an incense scent.

Had to go back to this old love...why did I ever leave!!!! AUGH!! My desire for vanilla/leather lately has led me right back to this fragrance. Desire satisfied... I prefer this fragrance over "Dior - Tabacolor", "Tobacco Vanille" and most of my other tobacco fragrances. This is the only frag besides "Red Tobacco" that i don't have an allergic "cigarette smoke" reaction to.

Just want to say thank you to everyone responsible for reformulation...! My bottle from 2018.. (10/15ml left sadly..) is a nuclear bomb with crazy projection and 20+ hours longevity.. 2023 batch... Im happy if im getting 4-5 hours decent performance.. Both purchased at Selfridges London.. Same goes to Tobacco Vanille. :( Thats all i wanted to say..

If you want a ridiculously long lasting boozy/amber-like vanilla, this is the one for you! After washing my shirt it still lasted 3 whole days on it! More of a winter/autumn fragrance with the depth and warmth it projects. On that note, projection is moderate but lasting power is insane! I love it and will probably buy it soon! Update: i bought it!

I don't know why it took me so long to discover this fragrance. It is such an elevated take on vanilla. It's warm, spicy and sweet. It does not make you smell edible compared to other vanillic fragrances out there, but it is warm and inviting. It might be my go-to fall/winter fragrance.Longevity and sillage is appropriate, considering the price.

weirdly comforting? the spice of the tobacco is perfectly tucked under the vanilla and dried fruit(?) notes. i imagine a girl boss or rockstar’s girlfriend wearing this. one of my favorites of all time. worth the money? probablyyyyyy not. but definitely worth grabbing a sample or, if you’re like me, a couple ahaha

ULTIMATE FAV!!! obssessed with this! Bought back up bottle before L'oreal starts messing around with the frags! This one last forever on my skin. Can still smell it moderately after a shower that's how potent it is on my skin! I get vanilla, myrrh, suede and rum, just a beautiful masterpiece!

This is the best perfume on the world. My wife wore it but I enjoyed smelling it on her and its the best scent by far I have ever smelled.Its more feminine and very original I never felt anything like it. Pure gold. I tried the reformulated its still ok but less strong.

I might need to come back for this. My initial thought was the perfume was gone off. After half an hour I'm left with dark vanilla smoke with some intoxicating boozy rum soaked fruit. Its interesting... I would say a sexy night out jn cold weather scent ...

Truly so gorgeous! It's a bit like Tobacco Vanille without the heavy licorice-like note. On initial spray, the tobacco is quite present then dries down on my skin to be a bit more warm, woody, and spicy. A very sophisticated vanilla with good staying power.

Contrary to what several reviews below have said, this is not feminine. It is 100% unisex. It's 2022, men don't have to smell like shaving cream anymore and women don't have to smell like flowers. All fragrance is unisex. Wear whatever the fu*k you want.

Agree with the silky notion someone said below, one of my favorite tom fords truly a delicious vanilla that doesnt go towards the sugary path. I almost get an irish cream kind of comparison with this I love it. Mature, dark, rich, silky, and delicious.

just smelt this at the airport for the first time. saw £127 on it and instantly purchased, a collection of 60+ and yet this might now be my favourite fragrance. love the opening which quickly fades into the mid and base which lasts about 6-8 hours.
