Vert Boheme

Vert Boheme is a sour green splash in the face. Unripe green apples and grass are the main notes I get from this. It’s super tart and fresh, and really natural; there’s not even a hint of artificial fragrance in here. For the first couple of hours, projection is OK and after that, it turns into a smooth skin scent which is a lot less “splash in the face” and more smooth, “warm summer’s day.” Although some people may not be too impressed by the silage, I personally wouldn’t want to be filling a room with this when I walked in. Getting a subtle hint every now again is quite enough, for such a sharp fragrance. Wearability is really good in the summer, and fits a lot of occasions and so you’ll get good use out of it if you buy a bottle. Do try before purchase though, as it’s certainly different from all the other green fragrances I’ve tried.

Ethereal Green Two word to sums up this beautiful creation by Tom Ford Private Blend. Tom Ford is my favorite house that opened up my nose palate to get into the world of niche perfumes. From dozens of my Tom Ford collections, this is the one I can't never get bored with. This green fragrance has many layers of complexity that are so well blended together into harmony. I get a fresh subtle green opening with hints of green tea like that create a meditative state of mind. Subtle floral aspects come to play in the middle and also subtle aspects of powder bring the journey to an end. All this subtle notes bring an ethereal feeling to the wearer. I can wear this all day all year when I want to get a peaceful state of mind. Sometimes before going to sleep, other times when doing a meditation or yoga session. #vscentorientreview

Vert Bohème is a syrupy lush chartreuse green fragrance with strong floral over tones. It’s as if someone boiled down a large bunch of bright green foliage, and at the last moment threw in a handful of blowsy and fragrant flowers almost at the point of decay. The resulting mash is then pushed through a sieve and the resulting liquid from that is Vert Bohème. It’s incredible. A green floral goddess. But it breaks my heart as so many perfumes do; I just now have found it, only to discover it’s discontinued. If I want to buy it I’ll have to take my chances on eBay. Vert Bohème lasts about 4 hours on skin before dwindling down into a barely noticeable skin scent.

It's Great. But it is NOT original. While there is not a single moment I doubt the creativity and quality here, I know I have smelled this before. Now - It's white. Almost Chanel White. It opens like Balenciaga and it's very VERY feminine. This is not one (and trust me I wear a lot of unisex) that I would consider Unisex. It's beautiful, long lasting and somewhat green. I smell a lot of magnolia, violet and honeysuckle (gorgeous, realistic). I hardly smell any wood notes at all which is a shame. 9/10

Perfect summer/spring fragrance. Safe blind buy. Unisex leaning toward femininity. Smelled 20+ TF perfumes at Nordstrom. This is my favorite, got a sample. This is a gorgeous elegant scent, folks! Must try if you like green floral fragrances. Update: after 30 minutes it smells like Diorissimo/Jessica McClintock on my skin. Green notes are gone and I only smell LOTV. I love the opening but I already have Diorissimo and for this reason I do not want the bottle.

Wearing Vert Boheme continuously for two days I can appreciate this beautiful scent more than I thought I would. This is very dewy, fresh green floral scent with sparkling nuances. It definitely reminds me of some kind of gemstone that sparkles in the sun. Im sure that combination of galbanum and violet leaf gives this effect but also some other notes make this scent so complex and never boring. Very under-appreciated fragrance in my opinion.

A very green and fresh opening... It seems like opening a window with a garden in front of you in a hot Spring. Its evolution is particular, when the honeysuckle arrives it is an apotheosis. Nostalgic sensation of a time that seems to have stopped, like a shiver that runs through your body. Beautiful perfume, it moved me so much. Sillage : 7/10 Longevity : 7/10 Scent : 8.5/10 Overall : 9/10

Very interesting. When I first tried this, I didnt like it at all and couldnt wait to wash it off. Then, I got a free decant and tried it two days in a row. The initial blast is very grassy but as it dries down, it is beautiful. Needless to say, I bought a bottle of this and love it.

If you enjoy green fragrances, you have to try this one. It is so, so lovely. It smells crispy, sort of subtly like freshly cut grass, but almost as if you could smell that freshly cut grass while you're sailing out on the ocean. Airy, green, and opulent

I love this fragrance: it is green, fresh and sweet. It reminds me of the sweet scent of the marsh grass. It later opens with white flowers and violet. It is purely unisex, light and fresh, last up to 4 hours.

My new signature fragrance. Period. Just perfect in every way; smooth and elegant. Perfect dry down that lasts and lasts. Pure heaven.

My original review was quite a while back & I've just added a few words to my original Review now. Still in my opinion this perfume is a masterpiece, so refreshing & beautiful (but not too fresh, not exactly citrus-sy just sparkling & refreshing if you like & to me is definitely the most beautiful of the Extraits des Verte (I tried them all on & off) but this was definitely my favourite (gorgeous! Really beautiful & such a smooth, rounded masterpiece; but not "woods-y" at all - there's no patchouli or similar, no sandalwood etc in this, just some shy blonde woods in the base (which also gives it a more modern effect; this isn't really a chypre as the Original Cristalle almost was, that's for certain.) I don't find this apple-y either though I think some ppl were sent the wrong sample maybe. My bottle I think was made in 2018 (pre any Reformulation) but wasn't opened until 2020. The lady below says pretty much everything I think, although this perfume is actually Feminine not Unisex in my humble opinion (perfumes are subjective & no two noses alike) but Unisex a la CK One etc isn't to my taste; but my Fiance loves this on me (& yet he wouldn't wear it himself) as is often the case with many of my perfumes but my Fiance says somerhing about it ventures into the feminine in a fairly subtle way - although both of us think wear what you like & have eclectic tastes) but we both this this "definitely green" eau de parfum is absolutely beautiful. I have to say I don't know why some ppl on here say "fades into expensive soap" - bc I did find it soapy at all & it ladted in all it's layered glory very well; it's fairly clean yes but I wouldn't call this even slightly soap-y (& I don't get any powder-y quality either.) Moschino Toujours Glamour is all powdery+soap-y greens + violet/violet leaf & this is nothing like that one, thank goodness) I purchased Toujours Glamour bc it was recommended to me as "just like" a favourite perfume of mine that I couldn't find anywhere, but that one is actually a little powder-y (& if you like Chanel Poudree you'll probably like TG) I have an only slightly used bottle to sell if anybody wants Moschino Toujours Glamour) but this one doesn't seem soap-y at any stage too me & espc not powder-y like that one, I really love this, it's gorgeous & the Galbunum note in here is fresh & beautiful, but lightly & smoothly done & is chef's kiss perfection - the nose who made this is a genius I think. (I really like Galbanum & have one or two with that note) but in a certain Oscar de la Renta perfume, I think it's Live in Love (green box) the galbanum is definitely nice - but this is something else & I think that's the brilliance of the way this perfume is made - the green base, the galbanum, all of those notes are smoothed out & subtle but present (& there's a softness there, a very slight femininity to the notes that many of the 1970s greens just didn't have. there is nothing "herbal" about these green notes, as some green perfumes have, it's pretty close to perfection & is the kind of perfume which even a usually not interested in green perfumes" person might fall in love with anyway. There are some florals technically in here, magnolia & honeysuckle but neither are "too sweet" (the honeysuckle is not prominent) & the magnolia is green, not heady or drenchingly sweet (nothing like the Magnolia in say, Versace Vanitas) in this perfume both are green & rather shy (this perfume is very "none-flowery" none pollen-y" & the whole thing is so well blended that nothing sticks out too much. Lasts most of the day or all night though, depending; the longevity is no problem at all (as with all of these TF Private Collection Extraits) I sprayed this one at 7pm & could still smell it very clearly at Midnight & there were still traces of it on my skin the next morning, before I took a bath & washed it off - the way few supposedly "Niche" perfumes from huge brands do (& my Fiance always comments on how good it is; accidentally catch this on a cashmere sweater or scarf & the Dry Cleaners will be the only ones removinge bc it's there a long long time. I would say these Extraits des Vertes were on of TF's Private Collection line standouts & mine was produced in 2018 I think but unopened until 2020 Mine is still the he Original formulation though & from a full 50 ml bottle purchased from Selfridge (maybe some ppl here have faded or diluted samples from unverified suppliers) maybe some have Grey Market/Discounters bottles that have been shipped around the World on hot palettes in strong sunshine & back again, that's usually what it is, that might be why they think it isn't very good (I'm a Collector of beautiful perfumes & completely obsessed re Fragrances) & I purchased this because I love this style of green perfumes (& it was extremely expensive) but it was so amazing/beautiful that I finally gave in & purchased a fifty ml (I usually buy 100ml bc if it's gorgeous (& then they go & so often reformulate the best perfumes now very quickly!) then they end up watered down or using cheaper Ingredients it's so I usually try to het the large bottle! Not this though, I think they Discontinued this after it's second run & mine is lovely but was sadly only fifty ml (bc the price of these was ridiculous & I'm not particularly rich) but then I wouldn't buy these (or any) as Grey Market stock) - if it's Grey Market it can be shipped to East Asia/Anywhere on hot pallettes in extremely strong sunshine & then freezing at night - then hot all day again & that ruins perfumes fast. This perfume is true art though & takes the Original 1970s Cristalle Eau de Toilette to a whole other level - perfects the green notes making them smooth & feminine - & makes all of it absolutely beautiful with a slight freshening & sparkling fruit note (not the reformulated heavy lemon in the current Cristalle EDT, which it never had) & the notes in this are sparkling & it's definitely modern (I wouldn't say much of anything in this was "powder-y on this myself but everybody's nose perceives things differently) & some here might smell "slightly soap-y" maybe but I really don't (I asked my Fiance if he thought that & he doesn't!) Which is good bc he doesn't like soap-y or powder-y or wood-sy on me.)Although I have a fairly woods-y Azzedine Alaia EDP that I love, ha ha but this isn't "woodsy To me, this a true Modern Classic & is unfortunately very rare now & if the Original Cristalle EDT with it's fairly strong greens & hay notes wasn't for you - this is a thoroughly modern interpretation, sparkling & refreshing + clean but not in.a citrus of clinical way - & lasts long (unlike many of it's type) & this is an Eau de Parfum strength amazingly I prefer myself. Two or three sprays last most of the day I've found, but to me this couldn't have been bettered; you find the few Tom Ford's special collections that were absolutely amazing tend to be Discontinued eventually after a couple of runs (& probably because they simply cannot be reformulated in a much much less expensive way as many of the mainstream TF EDP's & EDT's were/are🫣 This though, under one of his "Private Collections" (Extraits des Verts) is reminiscent of how the Original Tom Fords of 2006-8/9 were potent but rounded & made perfect & this perfume isn't too potent it hovers around you persistenly but subtly beautiful which is my favourite way for perfumes to behave; you couldn't really go wrong with this, it's not obtrusive but lasts well. Out of many green perfumes that I've liked & enjoyed though (something I wear nothing but greens all Spring & Summer) but this is a real standout & my Fiance's favourite green (still subtly feminine & beautiful) & I think you cannot go wrong with this I think & works very well in Business settings, would be fine for Appointments or Interviews; lunch or dinner, it's a definite all-rounder but is still just complex enough to wear in the Evenings (it's not inexpensive definitely, but at least you do get what you pay for with this perfume) unlike many of the ordinary Reformulated Tom Ford which I don't buy & won't. I wouldn't say it was s powerhouse though (& that's not my thing) but it's very good; subtle but beautiful is my thing & two or three sprays of this is lovely. I always wear plenty of lotion after a bath or shower though & it's definitely best if you like to wear perfume; perfumes aren't fond of dry skin & any dryness eats perfume; myself I like Avene oat based lotions espc if my skin feels really dry but most decent quality body lotions work well as long as they aren't strongly perfumed in a way that clashes. Of course the Original Cristalle EDT was Mr Big's favourite perfume "for a woman!" (!) as all Millenials & SATC fans will tell you) & I wore it as a child in the 90s & adored it (I got my own bottle when I was about twelve! Just a small one, for special occasions) & so that I didn't use my Aunts!) & that + the very unusual Christian Dior Dune EDT that I loved as a child (sadly reformulated & watered down, missing many of the base & midnotes/ie nothing like the stunning original CD Dune, I couldn't believe it!) both, began my huge love affair with Fragrances; I've long been obsessed with perfumes (& all kinds of lotions etc) but green perfumes are a huge favourite of mine & I've done some serious research since I was very young, tbh if anybody knows of a better one in this style please let me know bc I'd love to try it! My bottle is I think 2018 but wasn't opened until 2020. Happy smelling!

As a lover of green perfumes, I have long wanted to try Vert Bohème, as it has been recommended quite frequently as a good example of a classic green scent. It unfortunately seems to have been discontinued, pushing up its already high price online, but it is a good example of its genre. Featuring a prominent galbanum note at its opening, VB gradually becomes more floral as it unfolds, but its greenness remains the focal point. Since trying (and falling in love with) vintage Chanel No. 19 and Balmain Vent Vert, I have been trying to find a modern alternative. Modern No. 19 has abysmal performance, and the recreations of Vent Vert do not compare to the original. Estée Lauder Private Collection is one of the best I've found. But this is a beautiful green scent, making me feel like a forest fairy in the manner of the gold standard vintages. The performance is limited for its price, however, but it is the perfect ethereal green perfume. VB opens with a liberal dose of hazy green galbanum, wonderfully vintage in style and adding a lush, leafy greenness to this scent, Cellier-style. It is dewy and damp, paving the way nicely to the slightly waxy white florals that follow. The honeysuckle is beautiful - sweet and polleny, and I get other white florals in there too. As it develops, green-tinged, powdery violet comes to the fore, toning down the waxiness of the aforementioned white florals and enhancing the greenness with its delicate floral edge. It becomes slightly woody as it dries down, but the verdant freshness remains until final fade. Sillage and longevity are moderate (at a push). It is made for spring days. A unisex green scent with floral nuances, VB delivers verdant, leafy beauty in spades. Pity about its price-performance ratio, but that isn't even a dealbreaker for me. Green goodness. 4/5.

Starts off really green with a medium strength sweetness (most likely from the honeysuckle). If the color yellow-green had a smell, this would be it. I like how clean, bright and easy going this is, it’s very much a summer daytime scent. As it dries down it softness up but the green top notes continue on and on. Mild flowers here and no powder; this is more green/wood/orange till the very end (longevity is very good as is the projection). As adventurous as I am with unisex fragrances, this one veers more feminine to me, but in the heat of summer I might reach for this on occasion. At first I was reminded of Chanel Cristalle, but as a side by side comparison, Boheme smells way more natural and woody. This one is kind of old school too, it reminds me how green fragrances smelled in the 70’s, grassy, sweet and simple. Nothing really groundbreaking or unusual here, but very well done at the same time. Thumbs up.

Nothing groundbreaking, Vert Bohème is nonetheless beautiful; an avant-garde green scent of the most sumptuous kind. Vert Bohème opens with a big brazen blast of galbanum, quickly though, mandarin and honeysuckle lend sweet respite before violet leaf and oakmoss continue the opening’s cool crisp vibe. Arresting in its devolution from bitter green to uncannily realistic muguet, the middle is cool, clean and fresh with a slight honeyed floral sweetness. The dry down is a mossy green haze with an almost aquatic-like character. Opulent and bohemian at once. Nostalgia in a bottle. Perfectly unisex too. Longevity is moderate-long lasting with moderate sillage on application, becoming a skin scent in the dry down. 8/10

Tom Ford Vert Boheme (2016) - green violet leaf - Most citrus fragrance have been tired white musk heavy perfumes or another citric aquatic combo. #oliviergillotin and #rodrigofloresroux puts a spin on classic green scents and creates this rich and nuanced perfume. Green Galbanum is mixed with Violet leaf leaving an almost camphor-like smell. Florals mainly Lily and bright Magnolia add an interesting twist and created balance. In the drydown, I get a woody-chypre akin to Chanel’s Cristalle.

I smelled this one on paper at a Nordstrom. Yes, it is green. Very green. At times it reminded me of grass, which recalled memories of me as a child lying on grass and feeling itchy. (I think I am mildly allergic to grass.) I agree with the reviewer who thought this not unisex. After the assertive greenness of the opening it indeed becomes floral. It's not for me. I have smelled other scents with violet leaf notes and find them to be turn-offs. It might smell terrific on my wife, however...

With a scent that condenses fresh plants, it is a perfume that condenses plants and flowers in layers and squeezes the bitterness and sweetness of grass and flowers. If you describe it as sweet, you may be confused if you like sweet fragrances like sweets, but you can also feel the fresh sweetness of flowers. It's not an artificial sweetness, but a sweetness that you feel in nature. The scent of the stuffy air where the trees grow thick at the moment of entering the botanical garden.

A citrusy ozonic floral, it reminds me of those older feminines...but this adds a violet leaf and woody notes, which make it a unisex rather than a fem release. This is a fantastic spring scent, with a chypre touch if you look deep into it. Great, underrated release! Try this if you like: Hermes Muguet Porcelaine, Hermes Iris Ukiyoe, Creed Green Irish Tweed, Chanel No 19 EDP...and most of all...Chanel Bel Respiro

Green, crisp, floral. The honeysuckle comes through strong, but I love honeysuckle, so that's not a problem for me. The opening is actually really fresh and beautiful and I'm a sucker for grassy green scents. However, within an hour, it's faded to expensive soap territory and I find myself missing the cut grass. I barely get any woody notes. Definitely reminiscent of Chanel Cristalle.

C'est un parfum très nature, il devait être nommé sauvage a la place du Christian Dior il est spécial, certe, ne ressemble pas trop a ce qu'on trouve d'habitude, unisex, pourquoi pas, fleural, aquatique... genre de capsule dans une forêt... sa longévité est sa projection sont modérer dans tout les cas, il reste un Tom Ford

Green? maybe if you think Diorissimo is green, Diorissimo with citrus and honeysuckle. And I've always find Diorissimo beautiful on a man :-)

I'm torn on this - I don't get grass, or even much green, though it does smell quite natural and a bit herbal on first dab, maybe even a little bit dirty? The dry down became very powdery and off-putting. Once it fully settled in the powdery element faded, but so did most of the scent - became a soapy skin set. I don't dislike it, and will give it a few more tries before ruling it out.

Aptly named. The big, loud and extremely free-spirited galbanum note pervades the entirety of the fragrance. Splashed with some white florals and orange, it gives a very lively, happy, energetic feeling that is absolutely impossible to ignore. Unfortunately - but much like most people of a bohemian inclination - it is flighty and short of attention, as it can never quite decide what it is that it wants to do, and before a decision could be made it's moved on. Had this fragrance taken a direction, and stuck around for more than 3-4 hours, it would get high marks. But it didn't.

The Tom Ford Vert Bohème blew my mind when I tried it. It was fresh, interesting, layered, truly unisex not to dry and not to sweet and totally unique. Sadly on my skin, it did not last past 2 hours and the fresh and layered smell from the beginning was gone after 1 hour. So for me it is way overpriced. I would suggest getting a spray on your forearm and walk around with it for a few hours. If it is still as amazing as it was in the beginning the price might be right for you.

Definitely green and flowery notes, skin scent after dry down. Nothing spectacular, a good casual daytime fragrance. I have a sample and won't spend the $$ for a full bottle.

بدأ مصطلح بوهيمي la Boheme الظهور في فرنسا في منتصف القرن الثامن عشر لوصف أولئك المهاجرين الغجر الذين جاؤوا من رومانيا مارين بمنطقة بوهيميا والتي تعرف الآن بجمهورية التشيك، ثم أصبح بعد ذلك مصطلحا أوربيا يدل على أي كاتب أو فنان يعيش أو يتصرف بشكل غير مألوف. عطرنا Vert Boheme "الأخضر الغير مألوف" من توم فورد. هو للأسف الشديد لا يعبر حقيقة عن هذا الاسم. ولربما هذا هو السبب في عدم شهرته، أو عدم استحقاقه تقديرا وعلامة كبيرة من مستخدميه ومجربيه، وأنا واحد منهم. وللمصارحة فأنا لست من الطائفة المغرمة بالعطور العشبية. غير أن الجيد منها حتما لابد أن يستوقفني، ولو من باب حيادية التدوين والكتابة. العطر لا يمكن أن أنكر أنه ثري في جودة مكوناته. ولكني أعتقد أن ثقل راتينج الجالبانوم "الذي يعطي رائحة عشبية خضراء ثقيلة" لم يكن في حاجة لإضافة أوراق البنفسج المعدنية الأرضية الاتجاه. بحيث لم تتمكن الماجنوليا مع قوتها وعنفوان نفاذيتها في اختراق هذا الثنائي الثقيل. دائما أشعر أن العطور العشبية لن تأخذ الصدارة، ستظل فقط عطورا يكفيك منها واحد وبشرط أن تكون من محبيها. ولن يحتاج محبو العطور العشبية بذل الكثير من الجهد لانتقاء عطرا من هذه العائلة، فجميعها متشابهة، والواحد منها يغنيك عن بقيتها. لكن لو كان الأمر بيدي لانتزعت من العطر أوراق البنفسج، ووضعت في المقدمة الأناناس مع اليوزو، ودفعت بالسرو "السايبرس" إلى جوار الجالبانوم، مع القليل من زهرة الجيرانيم إلى جوار الماجنوليا. بالطبع سيكون عطرا آخر.. ومن المؤكد أنه سيكون أسوأ من هذا العطر.. في النهاية العطر (جميل - نقي - ربيعي – صيفي - غير مميز) تقبلوا تحياتي.. وكل عام أنتم بكل خير

I really like this one. It pretty much smells of the notes listed. Galbanum very obvious on the opening. Fresh, herbal and invigorating. Bang on unisex. I get the magnolia and further down the timeline the violet leaf surfaces. The magnolia and honeysuckle basically back up the clean herbal notes. I think the honeysuckle and orange added much needed sweetness as it could be too piercing. The flowers do come more to fore further down the timeline as well as the orange. The wood note not very evident. The violet leaf definitely becomes even stronger as it starts to wain. The wood note is now more obvious. Its a classy wear anywhere scent. I thought it might have a vintage feel but no it smells modern. A scent for any age group. The longevity and sillage are average. Not bad as galbanum and violet leaf are top notes that do not hang around long normally.

"My initial impression was that Tom Ford had interpreted Frederic Malle's 'Carnal Flower' with a greenery twist. I had anticipated the nuances of FM's 'Synthetic Nature (Jungle),' but I initially found the white floral scent slightly suffocating or possessing a raw, fishy quality. However, after 30 minutes to an hour, a pleasant greenery and cucumber scent emerged. After 2 to 3 hours, it naturally settled into a clean skin scent. Since the longevity is short, I plan to carry a decant to experience the scent profile upon reapplication. Given that it is discontinued and difficult to find, I would consider it redundant for those who already own 'Carnal Flower,' but a must-have for Tom Ford collectors. Additionally, I did not perceive any resemblance to the current Chanel 'Cristalle' or Creed 'Green Irish Tweed,' nor did I detect any fresh citrus notes."

Smell really nice and "unique " at TF band Bold smell. This is a very comfortable and very green. Not in a herbal way. Unlike typical TF scent with Bold/ woody/ musky / earthy punchy character. Everyone saying how forest it smell for this collection. To be honest , after leaving the counter. And let the scent sit on my skin for awhile. Nothing special. is " unique " among TF fragrances. The scent remind me of Jo Malone and other Female perfume. TF defiantly has the gazebo effect. The price tag make you think is good , elegant.. etc no matter what. IS it true ? Has any expert ever done the blind test like wine tasting to see if is a super high end fragrant ? I defiantly fall for the the gazebo effect, is Tom Ford, the name said it all. HIs signature smell bold. For the guy like him is charming. What if is on a fat mid age guy with a big fat belly?

Sorry to say I found Vert Boheme to be a disappointment. As a fan of many Tom Ford fragrances, and a lover of realistic greens, I thought this would be a surefire win based on the reviews. Vert Boheme is a safe, soapy green that opens with an almost sporty sparkle, and dries into a fairly realistic but ultimately unexciting green-and-floral that smells near identical to the inside of a florist's fridge. The quality reminds me of Tom Ford's Italian-inspired "Private Blend" line, but lacking any meaningful inspiration or creativity. I would say this is a good choice for a pleasant office frag, but you won't be turning any heads. I plan on sampling his other Vert and Fougere entries, hopefully then I will find what I'm looking for.

Very realistic and literal green grass and white floral. The green is so prominent in the beginning blast, but then the flowers bloom STRONG, and the greens fade back to support them. I am lying in the grass and I can smell the honeysuckle, not somewhere in the air nearby, but right next to me, and the magnolia trees are in full bloom. I also sense a bit of honey, though it’s not listed in the notes. This is not just perfume, it’s aromatherapy. This one will transport you. Use it on a rainy day to lift your spirits. Excellent projection and longevity. Edit: I just tried layering over this very lightly with Jasmin Rouge (it’s strong, be careful). They are really nice together. Try it!

For a long time, I was looking for a fragrance that smells like wet grass in the rain - one of my favourite aromas. This is it. This is even better than CK Truth for Men in terms of a wet grass scent. It also smells similar to Chanel's Cristalle. The main notes in this are galbanum, magnolia flower, and honeysuckle. But to my nose it basically smells like wet grass. I smelled a lot of Tom Fords at a Saks on Fifth Avenue once and this one impressed me on first sniff. I love wearing this during rainy days as it really suits the mood. Performance is good, with moderate to strong projection, and 8+ hours of longevity. 4.5/5

So, bear with me - I have a strange response to this fragrance. It sprays on somewhat green, but this quickly fades. Then, for about 20 minutes, to me, I smell fish. I'm not joking, or trying to be funny, I actually smell fish. Imagine you've been fishing, and you've scaled your catch - that fishy smell left on your hands is what I smell. I don't know whether other people smell it, or whether it is just a weird thing with me. Thankfully after about 30 minutes the violet leaf/magnolia shines through and I'm left with a nice, though somewhat ordinary violet leaf heavy smell. I can't explain this :/

A condensed green humidity. Biting jungle leaves invade the space of home. A sweat damp dress that clings to skin, a skin that can't escape the oppressive heat day. Stems stalk in closer to find shade in shapes while ice sizzles on the body. Flowers sprout from hair and braid into it, mingling close flesh and petal while both want. A Bohemian experience of open windows and plant filled breezeways. All the florals stick to you, less airy than you might expect, and as penetrative a smell as face first diving into an unfurling coil of new flora.

This was a chance purchase for me and what a delight, it has become my all time favorite Tom Ford scent! Not getting many flowery notes, but clean green and very present resin. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned there's a hashish accord, like similar to the smell a high quality hash joint would have in Amsterdam, that's what I think of when I wear this - Amsterdam after the high Summer is over. I wore this into Fremantle on a variably cool and sunny afternoon, and the scent and setting meshed perfectly together.

Tried a spray of it on my wrist and it does smell green/floral and spring like, but it reminded me of something I already have but I couldn't put my finger on it. After about 15-20 minutes it hit me, it was a combination of Diorissimo parfum and Chanel Cristalle EDT all rolled into one!! I have to agree with FeelingRisky, in that it's very feminine and not unisex to me at all.

I just logged on here to say that this reminds me of Cristalle EDT, and lo! Everyone is saying similar. It might not start out like Cristalle but that's where it's heading - a subtly earthy/mossy green floral. In fact it's maybe more like the original Cristalle than the current one, and has a bit more sillage/longevity I'd say!

Not really impressed here, maybe I just don't have a predilection for herbal fragrances, but the scent itself is definitely not bad!! The galbanum beside the violet leaf form a heady scent for me, good for spring and summer, I believe this edition appeals to specific tastes who love this kind of herbal scents!

Nice Smelling. Smells like an upscale Spa but with Honeysuckle. But.. it is pretty weak with not much Sillage and it fades into nothing 90 minutes after application. Rating 7/10

we got to smell this one recently and we are simply in love with this creation and the other two in this series. these are three green beauties....

This is almost identical to The Different Company's Sublime Balkiss. Refreshing green floral that turns soapy in the drydown.

Pure bliss. This is the most authentic green floral I have ever put my nose on. I can see myself wearing this a lot.
