Siren's Veil

Review: Siren's Veil by Tomavicci made by Masterperfumer Christian Provenzano I bought Siren's Veil during the first presale mid of august and it was delivered end of september even before the estimated shipout. The presale was sold out extremly quick and here is why: The first spray is an incredible blast of rich plum, peach, and a sophisticated rum note, all wrapped in a warm, spicy cloud of anise and cinnamon. The anise is the real secret here, not a sharp licorice, but a deep spice that gives the whole composition a complex, grown-up character. The sweetness here isn't sugary or cloying; it's from the fruits themselves. They smell almost jammy, as if they’ve been slowly cooked down. Let's be clear: this is not a gourmand fragrance. I’d call it a true fruity-spicy. As it settles, a lovely green, herbal touch from the sage and mate emerges, keeping it from being too heavy. Then the dry down comes in and it’s just stunning. A smooth, high-quality tobacco leaf—not smoke—blended with earthy vetiver and patchouli, all grounded by the warmth of amber. The whole journey is sooo smooth. The vibe is just... powerful. It has this 'old money' elegance, but it's also seriously sexy. On me, it feels very femme fatale. But I'm convinced this would be incredible on a man aswell. That mix of the jammy fruit, the spices, and that rich tobacco-woody base? It would just be magnetic. Total luxury confidence in a bottle. And the performance is truly impressive, i sprayed at 11am and it lasted atleast till 11pm ( then i went to bed 😁). It was sold out already and is back in stock now, i have my bottle since couple of days and i already put a huge dent in it.

When I first tested this fragrance 6 months ago, I wasn’t very impressed. I vaguely remember feeling like this was dominated by the tobacco. I retested this today and have completely changed my mind about this fragrance and have actually ended up buying a full bottle. Siren's Veil is a warm, sexy, dark and mysterious scent. While the notes say plum, I get a mix of boozy berries (blackcurrant/red berries) with cherry syrup. Although not listed, I get the impression of an almost slightly spicy, dark chocolate in the base. Someone mentioned they could smell Liquorice, which I do get as well actually. I think it must be the anise that gives off a mysterious Cherry Liquorice vibe. This has gone from a just ok to an absolute love. I don’t smell any tobacco at all, which I’m thankful for. It’s long lasting and envelopes you in a delicious scent bubble. This would be great for date nights, spring, summer nights, autumn and winter. What a gorgeous, unique scent!

The more I smell it, the more it traps me. The more I wear it, the more I love it. Sirens Veil is a complex and unconventional formula. If you prefer predictable and easy-to-like fragrances, this is not for you. Sirens is a perfume built with well-defined contrasts that complement each other perfectly. Liqueur-like and smoky. Creamy and herbal. Sweet and bitter. Fruity and woody. An absolutely niche composition that does not go unnoticed. Note; whenever I show great interest in a perfume or a brand it is because, for me, it truly deserves it. Maybe Sirens will not be pleasant for everyone but it will surely wrap you in its veil.

This fragrance is absolutely amazing! It is a perfect balance of sweet, with a little spice in there and creaminess. Lasted on me, shower to shower. Which was about 13 hours through my workday. Silage was perfect for me. It didn’t fill the whole room, but people definitely knew I was there. My walk by air today was beautiful! It smells like a very expensive, classy, sexy fragrance! I got a lot of compliments a lot of people asking what I was wearing. Highly recommend adding to your fragrance collection if you like sweet, sensual fragrances!

Ok let me start by saying I only have a small decant not the full bottle. I wish I would've purchased the bottle 🙈 Very feminine, honestly reminds me of those dark red mulberry candles (in a GOOD way) from the late 90s early 0s with a splash of cinnamon. I'm not getting any licorice at all. Seems to be good longevity and silliage. I am still concerned bc of the very mixed reviews that there's some batch differences but if I got a full bottle that smells like my sample I'd be very happy!

Love this stuff and believe the brand is very under rated on here. This opens fruity (especially plum), boozy, spicy and a little challenging. I don’t get much of the creaminess listed as the mid, but I do get some sweetness before the drydown adds tobacco and spice that’s tamed by the amber and musk that add depth. It’s really nice with good transition from initial spray, mid and drydown.

I was excited for this release but I’m not overly impressed. It’s ok. It doesn't wow me. I even detect a bit of Gâteau à l'Ananas in this. I was expecting something a bit more unique and interesting, but for me this is just meh. I’ll give it a bit of time to settle and retest it again.

winter/spring or even summer evening for me. juicy cocktail for sure that’s sexy and leans more feminine but would smell lovely on a man on its own or layered with a more masculine body. the sage and the moss combined with the fruit give mojito just a bit! love

Its super sticky sweet... more like pruns or dates rather than fresh plum. It reminds me of a stickier sweet version of Rum Tropique from Lemond Gourmond especially in the dry down. Its dense but sits close to the skin which is very disappointing. Tons of sugar and spice.. a little boozy. I really wish it had better sillage, though..not sure if it will stay in my collection I'll let it sit for a few weeks and circle back.

Sweet tobacco fragrance (more like dry tobacco leaves)- Sweet by dry tobacco. I am not getting TF Plum Japonais at all. This is a very nice tobacco fragrance- put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I love the bottle and the vampy aesthetic however.. this fragrance is so.. not good.. not quality niche.. I got Lucid Dream from Reinvented which is a beautiful plum raspberry dark and vampy fragrance with smooth Oud and it’s a true decadent femme fatale fragrance then I got this thinking it was going to be the first Tomavicci since Zenobia that I enjoy because let me tell you I’ve tried most of the entire house and my ONLY like/love is Zenobia. Everything else just smells like a hot mess to my nose. I had to resell the pineapple one because it just did not smell like pineapple upside down cake or anything gourmand niche it smelled like a bakery with expired goods and it just wasn’t niche quality to me. The bottles have been stunning I will give it to the brand there because the presentation is always beautiful but my goodness I can’t win. I want to find a new love from them so I can get another pretty bottle but it’s just so bad and I’m someone that loves notes like the ones listed here especially plum. Love a good tobacco lingering in the base and all the sugary whipped cream and ripe fruits but this scent just smells wrong. I can’t tell if it’s doing too much or if it’s a specific note that shouldn’t be in this composition that makes it downright bad. It’s one of those fragrances where some of it smells sweet but there’s a note that is so foul and displeasing that you wonder how anyone else is “loving” it and that’s how I feel here. I understand fragrances are subjective and usually I can appreciate fragrances that I don’t like but with tomavicci especially with this one specifically I’m like who out there actually wants this in their body and who is getting compliments because the smell again gives off a rotten fruits vibe. One reviewer said it was similar to their pineapple one and I agree in the aspect that the fruity sweetness smells soured. This is in NO WAY blind buy safe so please sample this one and be careful with your coin because this bottle is pretty but the fragrance is lethal in all the wrong ways. I still plan to let this sit and try it again in a few months but I also let the pineapple one sit for months and the fragrance didn’t change. I’ve noticed that Tomavicci fragrances don’t really change over time maybe macerate a little stronger but no notes seem to get richer or anything. Zenobia was pretty straight from when I received it in the mail and it’s still a beastmode very likable sexy middle eastern scent that smells like a middle eastern take on La Capitale from Xerjoff.

I love anise fragrances, but this one has me confused. It’s nice - I think I like it, but I find it a little juvenile (sort of). Fruit Strips gum meets an anisette biscotti, with a hint of toothpaste freshness. It’s an odd profile to me. Undoubtedly pleasant, but I’m not sure I could pull this off.

This is not even close to Tom Ford "Plum Japonais". Tom's Plum was sophisticated and rich smelling perfume, very well balanced and enveloping. This one... I'd compare it to Nest brand's perfumes. Chemically, cheap smelling. Quite terrible and a huge disappointment. And the price they are asking, Bath Works or Nest would be great options.

Ouch. Very medicinal to my nose. Licorice plus birch tree and some booze maybe? Which could be great... yet it’s not.

First impressions... Without checking the notes beforehand - I first recognized the anise and tobacco with a fruity note - I wasn't sure if it was cherry or maybe something else? The anise almost comes off a little minty - not MINTY but something "almost" minty. Now that I'm looking at the notes I wonder if that's the birch note? This is a very sexy and unusual - but not so unusual that it's difficult to enjoy. The peach isn't recognizable. The raspberry and plum with the other notes mentioned almost make this feel like it could be cherry. But not the Lost Cherry cherry, more like a literal black cherry note. It is sweet but not too sweet. It's balanced with the other notes. The more it dries down, the more tobacco comes forward. There is a creaminess but again - not too much. A tiny bit a booze in the background. Tiny dash of cinnamon, but mixed with the herbal qualities of sage, anise and tobacco. This feels like Halloween in a fragrance. It feels special and different. Maybe kind of like a Lolita Lempicka fragrance, all grown-up, better quality, niche. I am getting a little smoke on my skin now too and the sweetness is tempering down as it dries down. I appreciate how unique this is in today's perfumery and it gets points for that. But I am not sure if this will be a personal love. It is a solid 8/10 from first impressions - maybe that would increase with more experience. I feel any sex could wear this. Probably not for the girly-girls.

This perfume is nothing what I would imagine it to be. I'm not detecting any fruit notes whatsoever. No peach, no plum, no raspberry. For me it starts off with rum, cinnamon, anise and assuming birch note I am picking up. The beginning was not bad, but just spicy blah smell. It became little sweeter once the middle notes kicked in, but definitely did not have any wow factor. And it went down the hill from there once the base notes started kicking in. Honestly it's mostly smell like moss and more moss to me. And I did not enjoy a minute of it. I only sprayed it twice on my hand and that smell was overpowering. I washed my hands with soap three times and still could not fully get rid of that unpleasant smell. I agree with review by Gourmand goddess 94, Zenobia is the only perfume I like from this house as well. That one is beautiful, but you do have to like Middle Eastern style of perfumes. It's a powerhouse. So while bottles look beautiful , I don't see myself purchasing any perfumes from this house in the future. With exception of Zenobia.

Aww I feel so alone lol maybe I have weird taste or skin because I've noticed alot of fan favs smell god awful on me and the lesser popular ones I end up really liking. I'd consider a bigger decant but not a full bottle. It really reminded me of rabanne major me, but this one is a bit sweeter and less smokey. It also sort if gives me wesker deviant vibes buuuut idk. Maybe this is like deviant and kilian angels share had a baby and then that baby had a baby with major me lol. I don't really even feel this smells plummy. Definitely get the cinnamon and tobacco. The fruity notes are blended in it nicely and it definitely has a boozy touch. As much as I am a psycho for a thick perfume in the summer, this one I just can't imagine wearing it any time other than winter....it's probably the cinnamon/birch combo.

Siren’s Veil by Tomavicci is an absolute love for me. It opens with this cherry‐smelling, liqueur‐like creaminess that feels almost edible, a silky, boozy sweetness wrapped in spice. There’s a licorice‐candy twist from the anise that gives the whole opening a playful, dark shimmer, like cherry syrup poured over black licorice. As it settles, the whipped cream, sugar, and raspberry melt into that liquor‐kissed base, creating a creamy, cozy, slightly wicked sweetness. Then the tobacco, amber, and moss rise up underneath, adding warmth and depth without killing the gourmand vibe. To my nose, it’s creamy, candy‐dark, and intoxicating, a veil that clings to the skin in the most addictive way.

Most confusing opening but, Hmmm ........ spent too much on this bottle to not like it, so we try again in a few weeks for it to sit a little. The dry down is nice but....we’ll see.

It’s a decent fragrance, but I have not received a single compliment. I doused myself before and during work . Nothing . I want to be noticed when I pay this much for a perfume .

Smells like those wine gums that are half licorice and half fruity. I enjoy the scent, but absolutely not as a perfume.

Just buy Veneno by French avenue ! I wish I had known before buying sirens veil about French avenue Veneno
