As I inhaled Xanat for the first time, I said to myself: "This is a delicious composition that I wouldn't describe as 'youthful' or 'flirtatious', but as adult elegance." However, I wouldn't call it a complex perfume; I would define it as extremely sophisticated. Xanat presents itself with a light and refined sweetness, combining exquisite aromatic ingredients: the soft bitterness of dark chocolate, intertwined with the delicacy of brown sugar, which evokes the smell of roasted caramel in different dessert preparations, 🍮 merging with the volatility of an espresso coffee. While reminiscences of a chocolate bonbon filled with coffee liqueur complete this exquisite olfactory experience! These accords are softened by vanilla absolute, providing a rich and authentic vanilla aroma experience, much more complex than simple vanillin. The absolute begins to take on even more prominence, evoking a feeling of comfort and warmth. This vanilla not only brings creaminess and sweetness, but also an aromatic depth that makes the heart of Xanat, in my opinion, irresistible!! My Xanat Gourmand by Tomavicci has arrived today, and I couldn’t wait to experience it. From the very first spray, it was an absolute indulgence—a masterpiece in gourmand luxury made by Master Perfumer Christian Provenzano. The opening is breathtaking: an opulent blend of velvety dark chocolate and the aroma of freshly brewed espresso. Imagine stepping into an artisan café, where the air is rich with the intoxicating warmth of coffee and the decadence of fine Swiss dark chocolate. This is no fleeting moment—it envelopes you, commanding your senses. As it transitions, the dry-down reveals the true star: a heavenly vanilla absolute. It’s lush, rich, and creamy, complemented by a whisper of black sugar and a delicate hint of caramel. It’s a gourmand symphony, evoking the most luxurious vanilla orchid. The scent feels edible, almost intoxicatingly so. The performance is extraordinary. Just two sprays filled my entire room, with a projection that announces itself boldly yet elegantly. The longevity? Remarkable—it clings to the skin and air for hours without losing its depth or complexity. 8 hours in and still going strong. Ok so here we go... I’m not mad about the fragrance I’m a little upset in the redundancy in many mass produced gourmand style fragrances Also I know that many people we’re not happy about this brand using AI to promote their fragrance (Honestly grow up if you have ways to help promote their brand then help them rather than talk nonsense on this website saying how cartoonish it looks- Anyway rant over) With that being said I will say though Tomavicci does it again and they did it right, I can guarantee you that give it a few years this brand will skyrocket if they keep on bringing bangers out like this one even though this isn’t the most unique as references has been made to Amore Cafe by Mancera This is a beautiful piece of art that has realistic details to what was advertised on their website Vanilla heavy with Chocolate, sugar, and Coffee This stuff lingered on me all day and it’s a gourmand that for me anyone can pull off. This fragrance is best suited for Fall and Winter From the packaging and the bottle to scent itself I give it a 9/10 if you’re a gourmand lover

I only had the chance to experience Xanat through a small 1.5ml sample and my closest point of reference is Andromeda’s Moon interpretation of Escapade Gourmand. The two share an almost identical DNA at first impression. However, Xanat quickly sets itself apart - it feels deeper, darker and more complex. The addition of dark chocolate and coffee adds a rich, bittersweet edge that uplifts it into a more unisex, truly gender-neutral territory compared to EG. Given the tiny size of my sample, I’ve been applying just the lightest spray each time, really taking my time to savour the experience and it’s absolutely worth it. I genuinely love Xanat but will have to wait for a special sale or from resellers. Performance is impressive: projection and longevity are both above average. What really stands out is the addictive, dark sugary trail; it lingers beautifully and leaves a truly unforgettable impression. Be prepared to turn heads, spark conversations, leave a memorable impression wherever you go and for your loved ones to keep finding excuses to get a little closer.

This fragrance is nice and smooth but not quite the chocolatey, coffee scent I was looking for. To me and others I showed this fragrance to, it smells like a brown sugar bomb. It opens with a latte-like scent but that dissipates all too quick and you're left with just brown sugar. It is still a great, sweet gourmand scent and is great for layering (try layering with SWY Absolutely). But, the one thing I disliked about this fragrance is someone told me it reminded them of playdough smell and now I can't disconnect the smell from playdough... It's not a bad fragrance in terms of longevity, projection or even the smoothness but the actual smell is lacking in the notes I was really hopeful for.

The opening of this perfume is sweet and similar to Lush "Let the good times roll" and Lattafa "Eclair". After around 10 minutes I get a faint note of coffee and the dry down (after 30 mintes) is the best part of the perfume where the musk reduces the sweetness of the perfume which I personally prefer. This scent is addictive and definitely a delight for gourmand lovers. One of my favouries in this category and very comforting to wear at bed time as it feels like being enveloped in a warm hug. This perfume is very similar to Navitus "Tempt me Not" but I prefer Xanat if I had to choose from the two.

A very serious gourmand perfume, without too much sweetness, lactonic notes, with a character, which is rare for gourmand perfumes (pardon my French) - an honor to the exceptions. Mysterious, seductive but in a sophisticated way. Wearable on all occasions, the quality and perfect blend of ingredients is present as always at Tomavicci. You won't be able to stop smelling yourself or the person wearing it :) It follows the legendary story of the origin of the vanilla-scented orchid flower, and thanks to the brand that told it this way. Inspiring, visionary, must have!

It Just arrived today. This is a nice scent but as mentioned below it is redundant and nothing too unique if you already own Amore Cafe and or escapade gourmande , vanilla skin . If you combine those and add some dark chocolate to the mix that is Xanat. The first 5 min reminded me of Amore Cafe then as it dries down it is giving EG. Maybe this needs to sit a while for the chocolate to come out more.

I absolutely love this perfume. I get abysmal performance with it though which is frustrating. I always layer it with Genre Mello Vanilla (the most accurate and amazing Escapade Gourmand dupe). Seems to extend the sillage and wear time a bit. Xanat is so beautiful. I just wish it was stronger.

received a free sample of xanat and if I didn't already have escapade gourmande I would have a full size of this by now. a delicious sugary vanilla scent that I wish I didn't know existed cause my bank account cannot handle it.

I immediately got Escapade Gourmand. I get the feeling Xanat has better longevity & projection though. Testing now. Xanat definitely has better projection! Still waiting to see longevity

Those who have been following me for a while know that gourmand scents are not really my thing and I was completely bored with vanilla scents for a long time. Vanilla as an ingredient has always been a hit in fragrances, I think it completes many scents, but about half a year ago I became obsessed with "vanilla scents" again and I also started to like some sophisticated gourmand scents. Xanat is right on the borderline between whether it's too linear goumand scent in all its deliciousness or whether it's sophisticated enough and not so clearly edible that I could wear it. In any case, the fragrance is very beautifully made, like all of Tomavicc's fragrances. (I've been writing about Tomavicci's style in the review of Zenobia | Tomavicci.) What comes to the uniqueness, it can't be found here since there are plenty of caramel vanillas out there but most of them are either too loud and screechy or too synthetic so I think this fragrance is really successful in many areas. Xanat opens up with a smoky Vanilla which is a little bit like Vanilla in Un bois vanille | Serge Lutens. This is not so linear scent though and the quality of Vanilla is better, at least what I have in my bottle from 2023. There is a gentle whiff of coffee, it's like a roasted coffee, but it turns straight into a caramel aroma thanks to the combination of chocolate, Vanilla, Tonka bean and Benzoin. As the scent develops the smoky feeling disappears and the scent becomes smoother and the notes become more and more intertwined. The texture is creamy and the vanilla scent is intense and clean, very natural. It shines beautifully and despite the thick texture it comes through the other notes. The closer to the dry down the scent progresses, the more the vanilla resembles Guerlain's vanilla and the more elegant the scent becomes. I think Guerlain does vanilla perfectly and this comparison says a lot about the quality of Xanat. It's pretty close to the caramel like vanilla that's found in both Shalimar Millésime Iris | Guerlain and Shalimar Millésime Jasmin | Guerlain - slightly different in each . It's not exactly the same as them, and here is less complexity but as such a big Guerlain fan, I find some of the same sophistication, sensitivity and special charm in it and that's exactly why I like Xanax a lot. There is no doubt that the softness and purity of musk, combined with gourmand notes and Benzoin, completes the beauty and functionality of the blend as both a peaceful cozy scent and an irresistibly delicious and elegant elixir for more formal occasions. The scent is sweet but it's not suffocatingly sweet, it's not a summertime scent though. Personally, nothing can beat the magic of Shalimar and it's Vanilla and caramel infused flankers, but if there's something in Shalimar's DNA that you don't like, I recommend trying this fragrance. Xanat is more of a brown sugar vanilla on my skin than anything else. Even though the notes mention chocolate and coffee, I don’t really get much of that, it’s mostly a smooth, sweet vanilla with a slightly warm edge. It’s easy to wear and sits close to that cozy gourmand space, but it doesn’t feel as unique compared to others in my collection. It’s nice, just not something I reach for over my stronger favorites.

This is nice but.... The coffee note evaporates rather quickly on my skin...there’s caramel and vanilla with sweetness but the chocolate and coffee (which are the notes I wanted to smell the most) are non existent and that’s sad 😢 I own too many caramel and vanillas to really need this one...oh well...

The brown sugar note is quite literally delectable. You’re gonna wanna lick your wrist. The bottle is also stunning and pairs so well with the juice, it's giving I belong in the MET.

Xanat is predominantly a vanilla brown sugar scent with a TON of musk. It does smell quite similar to Escapade Gourmand but with musky notes think (Nemat Vanilla musk but ramped up). Something about Xanat is not as nice as Escapade Gourmand almost like a cheaper version. My guess, it is the over abundance of the musk. If I didn’t already own several better smelling/made vanillas and also own Escapade Gourmand, I might like this more. I get no coffee notes, and no chocolate notes. I own Amore Caffé and it does not smell similar at all.

Pretty much identical to Escapade Gourmande, but like 15% better smelling in my opinion (it has a tiny bit less of the plasticy-ness that I detect to some degree in both).

I don’t love this. I’m getting burnt sugar and something reminiscent of escapade gourmande. I tend to enjoy gourmands but these ones are too sickly sweet to me.
