Tommy Girl Forever

Am I rly the first one to comment?! What I smell: young, green and delicate pear/apple juice with a hint of pinkish sweetness. It get‘s greener and crispier, more musky and more delicate over a short period of time, accompanied by a lollipop-like sweetness. The peony is hiding in the background. stays in my hair and clothes for +12h and barely on the skin which i don‘t mind! In the family of marc jacobs wild, daisy, Santa Maria Novella-angeli di firenze etc..It’s a fruity floral- Not ground breaking but also not boring! IMO crowd pleasing. Sometimes i need simplicity and that’s it for me For ppl who love to read: when i was 12, i wanted tommy girl SO bad but my mum wouldn’t buy it for me (probably she thought it’s just a phase&that i‘d get bored of it). For whatever reason i never bought it myself.. But yesterday and now being 33yrs old, I randomly sniffed on tommy girl FOREVER and I fell in love. I didn’t realise it’s a new one but only after i started obsessing over it (as I usually do with my fragrances) i found out it’s a flanker of the original tommy edt. Funny how my taste hasn‘t rly changed

When I found this out at a Ross, I got it because I’ve loved Tommy Girl for YEARS. Figured, I should like it, right? I LOVE it. It heavily reminds me of Black Cosmic Cream from Bath and Body Works. It’s discontinued and I wish I could return to that scent and this perfume is the closest to it to me! Very light, playful, youthful. I think it’s the pear notes. I just wish I found a 50 ml bottle than the baby 30 ml bottle, but I’ll make do!

This was a blind buy, and an amazing one. The juicy, clean smell is so addictive.

It is exactly as advertised on the sampler - a white floral bouquet with dominating peachy tones of peony and juicy pear accord, with a drop of sandalwood and amber. Floral-aquatic. Very fresh but intense. Likeable and very feminine. In style it is a girlier Pleasures by Estee Lauder. Just a wrist test.

Blind bought this on a discount because notes. Expected nothing, still got disappointed. It opens with a masculine pear (I only get a fresh crisp pear, nothing else. As if this was a pear cologne). Dries down feminine but to a wet wipe that dried under the sun: Sad, old (clean but old), cheap and powdery. I'll come back if it mature. Or if I mature living the most boring life.
