Tommy Girl Summer 2015

I really like this one. It starts a little too sweet, a little syrupy from the sweet fruit, pear and strawberry in particular, but in about 15 minutes some freshness from honeysuckle kicks in. It is not radiant like the original Tommy Girl, but it is still utterly lovely. I smell something lipsticky- lip-glossy as well. This fragrance also does have some depth to it, it does not resemble fruit body sprays, which are flat, direct and really one dimensional. This one has an actual accord that develops a noticeable base. I also do smell passionflower and even though tea note is not listed, I thought I smelled a tea note. Something like a warm raspberry tea with honeysuckle and passionflower in the background, I would say that is what it dries down to and stays like that for a couple of hours. I can't say that I smell too much peony. Vanilla is subtle, the whole composition does not slide down into tooth aching candy floss, and just for that alone, I really like it. It lasts about 4 hours, it's subtle, but I can smell it on myself. Good alternative to citrusy perfumes for summer, it has a very clean and youthful vibe. It is a work of a master perfumer Calice Becker after all. For 20 Canadian dollars at SDM, this is really nice

Is it weird that I got super excited to be the first person to review this???? LOL I'm sure my fellow fragrant addicts feel the same? ?? Or at least I hope hahaha any who...summer scents are my favorite types of perfume so when I found this at SMD for 19.99 I was excited for the blind buy. And I love love love it. It's not anything exceptionally unique but it's so nice for summer, beach, drink in hand loving lifeel lol
