A zingy citrus rind and aromatic fragrance. It opens with a real hit of green notes. Im immediately struck by what a dense rich fragrance this is for essentially a green citrus fragrance. I think its the pine and tea that add another welcome dimension. I notice someone mentioned air fresheners or perfumed clothes fresheners and I can see why but I think it is a diservice to what is a rich citrus/green fragrance. If it didnt have some woody sweetness then I would have to agree. Ive been looking for a long lasting warm citrus/green fragrance and this fits the bill. If its good enough for the Queen then its good enough for me!

The green notes of the pine help balance out the citrus nicely. Makes a good choice for a summer office scent. The longevity is above average for this type of fragrance.

This is one of the fresh fragrances by Laura Tonatto, a famous Italian nose known for having been working with the most famous perfume makers. She is known for using only the best ingredients/essences selected in Grasse, France. Anena is fresh, it reminds you of lazy summer vacation days. The picturesque atmosphere of a Sicilian landscape, that you can recognize through the notes of mandarin, lemon and orange. I liked it immediately when I first smelled it. It’s really a summer fragrance! The elements are instantly & easily recognizable ... they are barely blended together. What I dislike is the low staying power and the dry down: for me, it is way too mannish, really dry – smells like fougère & pine. I’d love it be a bit more feminine in the dry down. However if you have the opportunity try it, as it’s one of a kind and not similar to anything else on the market.

Very citrus, very fresh, very light scent. Perfect for hot summer days!
