Sandalo Per Teti

From the moment this hits your skin, it is a wonderful experience. You cannot help but smile when you smell the opening notes. Superb materials used in this eau de parfum. Really nice that it is for both men and women. I have passed this off to my mom.

This fragrance bears some similarities to another I've just sampled: Orange X Santal from Essential Parfums. Both open with a citrussy blast, but Sandalo per Teti succeeds (where the other fails), in carrying other notes - a lovely tea and lavender mix, - through to the dry down, without losing impact. The net result is the ideal fragrance for summer day: refreshing after a morning shower and sustaining through the heat of the day. It would probably need to be reapplied for adequate sillage into the evening but in any case the woody base notes remain intact, even though the citrus fades. Another 'Like' for Laura Tonnato.

I love sandalwood but I think it has been overwhelmed by the citrus and lavender. You have to wait for the citrus and lavender to fade before the tea and wood can really be appreciated. The citrus and lavender are so piercing that it smells like some artificial air freshener! I had to wait an hour before it eased up. Such a shame.

I can't stand it...it's supposed to be a unisex fragrance, but it's only masculine, nothing feminine in it.

Laura Tonatto SANDALO PER TETI perfume oil offers a simple and linear cinnamony sandalwood scent which smells very natural. I do not detect very much citrus or lavender, but perhaps they serve to moderate the sandalwood to some extent. Since this is the perfume oil, the citrus notes may simply be drowned in the carrier almond oil, which would explain why this smells much more like a woody oriental than a woody aromatic perfume oil to me. The sandalwood here does not smell at all sour or synthetic, but if you do not like sandalwood, you will not like this composition. Definitely recommended for sandalwood lovers, although I should also say that this strikes me as somewhat closer to sandalwood essential oil than to perfume.

What opnes with a pleasant, sort of unsweetened, lemon-black tea accord, morphes after a while into a solid and well rounded woody-sandalwood with just a tad of sweetness. Probably not earth-shaking but incredibly delightful nonetheless. Rating: 7/10

I love it very much , after a couple of hours it gets warm and soothing on my skin ... cinnamom and sandal taste so good It's feminine afterall
